Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of educational background and work experience on employee performance at PT. Megahputra Sejahtera, Palopo branch. The type of research conducted is quantitative. The types of data used are derived from primary and secondary data. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The number of samples used was 30 employees. Data analysis used was descriptive analysis, validity testing, reliability testing, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that simultaneously educational background and work experience have a significant effect on employee performance. Partially, educational background has a significant effect on employee performance at PT Megahputra Sejahtera, Palopo branch, while work experience also has a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan media Pop Up terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya variasi model pembelajaran dan minimnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen dengan nonequivalent control group design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN Cipinang III sebagai kelas eksperimen dan SDN Cipinang I sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen tes berpikir kreatif disusun berdasarkan empat indikator menurut Torrance: fluency, flexibility, originality, dan elaboration. Hasil analisis menggunakan uji independent sample t-test menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai posttest kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan nilai sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000 0,05. Selain itu, hasil uji paired sample t-test juga menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara pretest dan posttest kelas eksperimen dengan nilai sig. = 0,000 0,05. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran Project Based Learning berbantuan media Pop Up berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of organizational culture and work discipline on employee performance at the Social Services Office of Palopo City. The research problem addressed is how organizational culture and work discipline influence employee performance both partially and simultaneously. This study employed a quantitative method with an associative approach. The population consisted of all 32 employees of the Social Services Office of Palopo City, with the entire population taken as the sample (saturated sampling). Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques comprised descriptive analysis, validity testing, reliability testing, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R). The results indicate that organizational culture and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Partially, organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance, with a significance value of 0.011 0.05, and work discipline also has a significant effect, with a significance value of 0.001 0.05. Simultaneously, the significance value of 0.000 0.05 shows that both independent variables together affect employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R) of 0.785 indicates that 78.5% of the variation in employee performance is influenced by organizational culture and work discipline, while the remaining 21.5% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

Penetapan Upah Minimum Kabupaten (UMK) merupakan salah satu indikator penting dalam mencerminkan kesejahteraan tenaga kerja serta kondisi perekonomian suatu daerah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) dan inflasi terhadap UMK di Kabupaten Karawang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan regresi linier berganda. Data yang digunakan berupa data sekunder tahunan dari tahun 2013-2022 yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) dan instansi terkait lainnya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa variabel PDRB mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap variabel UMK Karawang, hal ini, menunjukkan bahwa nilai PDRB setiap tahunnya memberikan pengaruh pada keputusan pemerintah dalam menentukan nominal UMK Karawang. Sementara itu, variabel Inflasi memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap UMK karawang, Hal ini memberikan gambaran bahwa ketika inflasi mengalami kenaikan, maka akan berefek pada lemahnya daya beli masyarakat. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bahwa pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah lebih dominan dalam menentukan besaran UMK dibandingkan dengan faktor inflasi. Oleh karena itu, pemerintah daerah diharapkan lebih memperhatikan dinamika PDRB sebagai dasar dalam kebijakan pengupahan yang adil dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of shift work compensation and job satisfaction on work productivity at two gas stations in Palopo City, namely SPBU PT Josila Trimakmur and SPBU Dangerakko. The background of this research is based on the importance of human resources, particularly in the public service sector such as gas stations. This research is a quantitative study. The types of data used include both primary and secondary data. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The sample consisted of 30 employees. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, validity tests, reliability tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that, partially, shift compensation and work shifts do not have a significant effect on work productivity, while job satisfaction has a significant effect. Simultaneously, all three variables have a significant effect on employee work productivity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas IV SDN Heuleut I, Kecamatan Kadipaten, Kabupaten Majalengka, yang disebabkan oleh pemilihan model pembelajaran yang kurang sesuai. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan kuasi eksperimen jenis Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas dua kelas, yaitu kelas IV A dan IV B, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling. Instrumen utama dalam penelitian ini berupa soal uraian yang dirancang untuk mengukur aspek-aspek berpikir kritis. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keberhasilan penerapan model PBL oleh guru mencapai 81,25%, masuk kategori sangat tinggi. Analisis data menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 ( 0,05), yang menandakan adanya pengaruh signifikan model PBL terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan model PBL sebagai alternatif strategis dalam pembelajaran IPAS Muatan IPS di sekolah dasar untuk menumbuhkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa secara optimal.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the policies implemented in an effort to improve the resilience of the Karo community to the Mount Sinabung eruption disaster, with a comparative study approach between conditions before and after the eruption. The recurrent eruption of Mount Sinabung since 2010 has had a significant impact on the social, economic and environmental aspects of the surrounding community. Social resilience is an important factor in dealing with and recovering from the disaster. Through qualitative methods with primary and secondary data collection, this study evaluates the effectiveness of disaster mitigation and adaptation policies implemented by local governments and related institutions. The results show that policies that integrate local wisdom and active community participation significantly improve the adaptive capacity and social resilience of the Karo community post-eruption. The study also identifies constraints and opportunities in policy implementation, which can be used as recommendations for improving disaster mitigation policies in the future. The findings of this study reinforce the importance of community-based policy approaches and local wisdom in building the resilience of disaster-prone communities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of PT. Campina Ice Cream Industry Tbk for the period 20222024 using profitability ratios, including Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Operating Profit Margin (OPM), and Net Profit Margin (NPM). The research employs a descriptive quantitative method using secondary data obtained from the companys official financial statements. The results indicate that the companys financial performance has fluctuated over the observed period. The average ROA and ROE were 10.68% and 12.21%, respectivelyboth below the industry benchmark, indicating suboptimal utilization of assets and equity. Similarly, the average OPM and NPM were 13.49% and 10.11%, showing inefficiencies in operational cost control and net profitability. On the other hand, the company demonstrated a relatively strong GPM with an average of 57.57%, suggesting efficiency in managing production costs. Overall, the findings suggest that PT. Campina Ice Cream Industry Tbk needs to enhance its financial efficiency through improved asset management, tighter cost control, and the implementation of more effective marketing strategies to ensure sustainable profitability and competitiveness in the future.

Abstract

Reading interest is a strong desire of an individual to read a literature provided by the author with self-awareness, so that an individual will be encouraged to read and explore the contents of the literature without coercion. Student reading interest in a literature or current news is influenced by several factors, such as clickbait. This study aims to determine the impact of clickbait on the reading interest of students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Bhayangkara University, Surabaya on the ayobandug.com platform. This research is based on the discovery of a phenomenon found by the author on the ayobandung.com platform which has the characteristics of clickbait, where the title is found to be very interesting, but sometimes the content of the news does not match the content of the title raised. The population in this study were students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Bhayangkara University, Surabaya. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique which has predetermined respondent criteria of 100 respondents. The data collection method was based on the survey method and the analysis technique in this study used the structural equation modeling method and used an analysis tool in the form of Partial Least Square (PLS). The research results found that the better the use of clickbait in the online media news titles ayobandung.com, the more it increases students' interest in reading.

Abstract

Situs Lemah Wangi terletak di Dusun Kalipagu, Desa Ketenger, Kecamatan Baturraden, Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengetahuan lokal spasial terkait Situs Lemah Wangi dalam konteks mitigasi bencana Gunung Slamet. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan etnografi kolaborasi dan etno spasial, penelitian ini menggali informasi melalui wawancara mendalam dengan tokoh masyarakat, pemangku adat, dan anggota kewargian Situs Lemah Wangi, serta survei GPS untuk mengidentifikasi titik-titik koordinat situs. Data kualitatif dan geospasial kemudian diintegrasikan dan dianalisis menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) untuk menghasilkan peta etnografi Situs Lemah Wangi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Situs Lemah Wangi memiliki sejarah dan makna filosofis yang kuat, berfungsi sebagai pusat tradisi dan upacara adat yang secara inheren mendukung ketahanan masyarakat. Pengetahuan mitigasi bencana berbasis masyarakat di Dusun Kalipagu terbukti menyatu dengan kearifan lokal, seperti tradisi Kupat Slamet dan Gandulan, yang memperkuat solidaritas sosial dan resiliensi psikologis. Meskipun demikian, penelitian ini menghadapi kendala seperti keterbatasan identifikasi pengetahuan lokal narasumber dan rendahnya kemampuan teknis masyarakat dalam pemetaan geospasial. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam pengembangan strategi mitigasi bencana yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan dengan mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal.
