Abstract

In general, community participation is often interpreted as a contribution of energy, money or goods in order to make a development program or project a success. In general, the relationship between schools and the community has a goal to be achieved, namely improving the quality of education, so that the community can feel the direct impact of improving the quality of education in the form of school progress.Library research or literature review is the research method used in this research. Several data and information were obtained regarding community involvement in educational institutions sourced from several journal articles and books as primary and secondary data sources. The school's relationship with the community includes the school's relationship with other schools, the school with the local government, the school with other agencies and departments, and the school with the community in general. First, educational relationships are cooperative relationships in terms of education/students, between teachers at school and parents in the family. Second, cultural relations are collaborative efforts between the school and the community which enable mutual development and development of the culture of the community where the school is located. Third, institutional relationships, namely cooperative relationships between schools and other official institutions or agencies, both private and government.

Abstract

Research on the relationship between individual behavioral characteristics and factors that influence student learning has become a major focus in the field of psychology. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with interview data collection techniques via WhatsApp call. The data obtained was analyzed by condensing data, displaying data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the application of the insertion method is used to determine various characteristics of children's behavior and what factors influence student learning in madrasa schools. Teachers emphasize a comprehensive literature review regarding the relationship between behavioral traits, such as leadership, motivation, and adaptability, and various types of achievement, including academic achievement, work performance, and achievement in sports contexts.

Abstract

A major challenge in education today is to enhance noble character among students, who have limited understanding and experience of Islam due to the low quality of Islamic education. The Sufism Ethics course taught to students has not been effective in cultivating noble character due to several factors, such as inadequate curriculum content, limited facilities, weak mastery of material and teaching methodology, and insufficient number and quality of educators. This study aims to analyze: the contribution of discipline in attending lectures to the development of noble character (akhlakul karimah) among students at STAI Panca Budi Trading, the contribution of the Sufism Ethics course to the development of noble character among students at the University of Quranic Science (Universitas Sains Alqur’an), and the combined contribution of both to the moral development of students at the University of Quranic Science. Using a quantitative method with primary and secondary data, data collection was conducted through questionnaires, documentation, and observation, and analyzed using simple regression and multiple linear regression. The results show that the Sufism Ethics course and discipline in attending lectures contribute significantly and positively to the development of good character among students at the University of Quranic Science.

Abstract

Since its founding by KH. Ahmad Dahlan to the present day, Muhammadiyah has played a central role in developing educational concepts, overcoming various historical challenges such as illiteracy and the colonial era, and continuously improving education standards while empowering communities. This research aims to describe Muhammadiyah's Educational Philosophy, Muhammadiyah's Educational History, Muhammadiyah's Struggle and Efforts in the Field of Education, as well as Muhammadiyah's Contribution to National Education. Through a literature review method, this study reveals how Muhammadiyah, as the largest Islamic organization in Indonesia, undertakes tajdid and ijtihad in developing education based on Islamic teachings to achieve the goal of creating an Islamic society in line with religious values. Muhammadiyah's educational philosophy emphasizes the harmony between religious and general knowledge, integrating various aspects of life. As a pioneer of Islamic educational reform, Muhammadiyah also plays a strategic role in raising national awareness and spreading modern knowledge in society, building a just, empowered, and morally upright community in accordance with Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Islamic Education Ethics in the Modern Context is a study that explores the relevance of Islamic ethical values ​​in the context of contemporary times. In the era of globalization and technological progress, the challenge faced by Islamic education is how to combine traditional principles with the demands of the modern era. This article highlights the importance of understanding and applying Islamic teachings in education contextually and relevant to the times, without losing the substance of the underlying ethical values. This discussion also includes strategies for integrating Islamic ethics in educational curricula, teacher training, and the overall educational environment. Thus, this article aims to provide insight into how Islamic education can remain a moral foundation in facing the dynamics of the modern era.

Abstract

Motivation is one of the most important elements in the success of a learning process. However, in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, the motivation of students has decreased due to several factors. Therefore, the researcher is interested in examining the factors causing the lack of learning motivation of Grade VIII students in the Fiqh subject in the industrial era 4.0. The research method is using a type of field research in the form of a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection technique is by observation and interview techniques. The results obtained from this study are that there are three main factors causing the lack of motivation of students, including: 1) the absence of learning media, 2) the lack of facilities and infrastructure to support the learning process, 3) the use of monotonous learning methods.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the forms of religious extracurricular activities that can increase religious awareness and determine the factors inhibiting extracurricular activities in increasing religious awareness among students at MTS Puspa Bangsa, Cluring District. The method applied in this research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is interactive analysis. The research results show that the implementation of religious extracurricular activities at MTS Puspa Bangsa, Cluring District plays an important role in increasing religious awareness and forming students' religious character through various programs such as Madrasah Diniyah, sholawat, kiroah, muhadharah, hadrah training, as well as tafsir and tahfidz. Despite facing obstacles such as limited time, facilities, student motivation, parental support, financial constraints, and a shortage of teaching staff, it is hoped that continuous efforts from the school and the support of all related parties can overcome these obstacles and ensure the sustainability and success of this program.

Abstract

This article is based on the importance of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum effectively, as expected by the government to address the decline in learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Merdeka Curriculum plays a crucial role in improving the quality of education in Indonesia. However, this requires readiness, planning, and effective implementation across all educational units. This study aims to analyze and describe the concept of the Merdeka Curriculum, as well as how it is implemented in schools and madrasas. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review research method. Data sources were obtained from various articles including books, scientific journals, legal documents, and websites. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques. The research findings conclude that: first, the Merdeka Curriculum was developed by the Ministry of Education and Culture as a curriculum framework with characteristics that are more flexible, focusing on essential content, character development, and student competency. Second, the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in schools focuses on developing national character based on the Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile Project (P5). Meanwhile, in madrasas, the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum is oriented towards religious moderation based on the Strengthening the Pancasila and Rahmatan Lil Alamin Student Profile Project (P5 RA), which underpins every learning process. The Merdeka Curriculum is designed to enhance the quality of education and depicts the educational output needed to address Indonesia's educational challenges in the future.

Abstract

Direct learning strategy is a learning approach that involves the teacher as the main source of knowledge who provides information directly to students. In this strategy, teachers use various techniques such as lectures, demonstrations, and discussions to convey lesson material to students. Research has shown that hands-on learning strategies are effective in improving students' understanding of course material, increasing student engagement, and facilitating the transfer of knowledge to real-world situations. However, there is also criticism of this strategy because it lacks space for students to actively participate in learning. Therefore, teachers need to consider using direct learning strategies wisely and integrating active learning elements to increase learning effectiveness.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah, as a missionary movement that prioritizes the purification of Islamic values, initially positioned itself far from culture because it was considered to be in conflict with religious values. However, through internal criticism and discussion programs, Muhammadiyah began to review the cultural concepts they adhere to. As a result, they succeeded in renewing their view of culture by adopting new strategies to open dialogue and transform culture towards a life that is more in line with Islamic principles. This research highlights Muhammadiyah's efforts to integrate religious values ​​with local cultural values ​​to achieve better social and spiritual harmony.
