Abstract

Derrida's Deconstruction and Imam Asy Syathibi's Istiqra al Ma'nawi Method are two methods that both study texts but have different objects. Derrida's deconstruction is a form of text interpretation that is carried out radically, bringing out elements that are contradictory to each other which results in a truth, while the istiqra al ma'nawi method of looking at studies of Islamic legal texts is by combining a number of other texts that contain different aspects and objectives. , so that a legal case is formed based on a combination of the text's arguments while still acting on reason, taking into account social conditions, as well as dimensions and places to realize the benefit of humanity from various aspects summarized in the principles of dharuriyah, hajiyah and tahsiniyah. Qualitative research data was obtained from official documents and websites and relevant literature reviews were then presented and analyzed. This study aims to find out whether Derrida's deconstruction is the same as Imam Asy Syathibi's Istiqra al Ma'nawi method in understanding the text of the Koran. This study finds that Derrida's deconstruction and the istiqra al Ma'nawi method conflict with the aim of istiqra al Ma'nawi itself, namely to seek legal certainty from texts with a method that adheres to the unity of the text, not the application of the text separately. Therefore, Derrida's deconstruction leaves the text ambiguous, providing multiple meanings and allowing the reader to speculate on meaning. This makes deconstruction not applicable and not the same in interpreting the texts of Islamic legal propositions using Imam Asy Syathibi's Istiqra al Ma'nawi method.

Abstract

: Fasting is a practice that involves abstaining from eating, drinking, and certain activities for a certain period of time, often for religious or health purposes. In a religious context, fasting is carried out as a form of devotion and spiritual discipline, as practiced in various religious traditions including Islam, Christianity, Judaism and Hinduism. In Islam, fasting during the month of Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam that every eligible Muslim must carry out. Fasting also has widely recognized health benefits, including weight control, increased metabolism, and detoxification of the body. However, fasting must also be done carefully, especially for individuals with certain health conditions, to avoid negative side effects such as dehydration and malnutrition. Scientific studies show that intermittent fasting, an eating pattern that involves alternating periods of fasting with periods of eating, can improve metabolic and cardiovascular health. This abstract explores various aspects of fasting, including anything related to fasting and also verses that discuss fasting. The method used in writing this journal is the library research method.

Abstract

Talking about a "splinter movement" means starting from an understanding about "orthodoxy" or "mainstream"; because of movement A splinter is a movement that deviates from or separates itself from prevailing orthodoxy. The research results show that the splinter sect in Tanah Terban Village plays an important role in the dynamics of religious teaching in the village. Its presence brought significant changes in aspects of the curriculum, methods and religious teaching materials that were different from formal madrasas. This change has an impact on the village community's understanding of religion, triggering tensions between religious communities, and has the potential to cause social disintegration.

Abstract

This research compares the characteristics and learning methods between Salafiyah Islamic boarding schools that focus on classical books and the understanding of Salafus Shalih, with modern or Khalafiyah Islamic boarding schools that integrate general and religious curricula. A case study at the Syifaul Qulub Islamic boarding school shows the adoption of the curriculum of the Darussalam Martapura Islamic boarding school with an emphasis on learning classical books through the sorogan and bandongan methods, reflecting a traditional approach in the educational process. Salafiyah Islamic boarding schools emphasize the study of classical religious sciences, while Khalafiyah Islamic boarding schools combine religious and general sciences. The main objective of Salafiyah Islamic boarding schools is to shape Muslim characters who are faithful, pious, and provide positive benefits to the community, although they do not formally state their objectives, but rather have an orientation to maintain the purity of Islamic teachings according to the understanding of Salafus Shalih. Salafiyah Islamic boarding schools play an important role in shaping the character and morals of the students, by instilling the values of discipline and Islamic ethics, while still adhering to traditional values and contributing to social activities and da'wah, making a significant contribution to Islamic education in Indonesia.
