Dialektika : Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia published two times a year (June and December ) as a medium of distributing scientific research in the field of language, literature , and the Indonesian language and literature education. Abstract

The problem in this study is to determine the level of honesty and students' trust scores. This can be known by implementing the Autoproctor page. Of course, with interesting features on the page, be it the camera, audio, and tab switches, it will show concretely the extent to which the level of honesty and trust scores of students takes tests that have been designed by an educator beforehand. The research and development method for this page is a mix method, which emphasizes the integration of quantitative data with descriptions of each data presented. The results of the study show that the effectiveness of the Autoproctor page in representing the trust score and actual scores in the PJJ system is concretely credible and effective. This can be seen from each percentage of the trust score of students who commit acts of fraud. (3) the protection system from Autoproctor shows the score difference between the (temporary) exam result scores and the actual result scores (final grades). Therefore, the presence of the Autoproctor page through its various features, namely camera, audio, and tab switches, can provide answers to the concerns of educators and students, especially regarding the giving of "actual scores that have been avoided from various deviant actions" of students, especially when evaluating online learning is carried out. Abstract

Indonesian for Speakers of Other Languages (BIPA) has a diplomacy purpose. A cultural diplomacy is one of the main purposes in BIPA Program. This study was aimed to describe an Indonesian language and cultural diplomatic process in Tunisia, introduction of Indonesian for Speakers of Other Languages to the student by culinary, and introduction of Lumpia, Pukis, and Risoles to promote BIPA class in University of Ezzitouna, Tunisia. The data were collected via study case method. A researcher took a part in the even to collect and analyze the research data. A diplomatic mission to introduce language and culture of Indonesia could be showed by culinary. The culinary such as Lumpia, Pukis, and Risoles were popular in Indonesia. They also had a similar taste with Tunisian culinary. This way became one of the BIPA’s support to promote an Indonesian culture. A student in University of Ezzitouna interested to join BIPA class after trying to taste the culinary. Therefore, culinary had a good implication to support diplomatic mission to open BIPA class in the University of Ezzitouna, Tunisia. Keywords: bipa; cultural diplomacy; indigenous culinary

Abstract

The background of the writing is the lack of students' ability in speaking skills. In addition, the application of learning models and learning media that are less than optimal in developing materials for presenting novel review texts. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the MASTER learning model on the ability to present review texts assisted by Instagram, and student learning outcomes. This research was conducted at SMAN 47 Jakarta, in class XI MIPA 3 and XI MIPA 4. The research method used in this study was True Experiment with Posttest Only Control Design. The results showed that there was an effect of the MASTER learning model with the help of Instagram on the ability to present review texts. This is based on the results of the Independent Sample Test hypothesis, there are sig 0.000 ˂0.05 and a Thit value of 7.627 Ttab 1.998. Therefore, Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, meaning that there is an effect of the MASTER learning model on the ability to present novel review texts with the help of Instagram. Abstract

As a means of social control, the mass media needs to accurately describe an event to show its independence and credibility. Including, during the shooting incident of an FPI member on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road, Indonesia in 2020. This event is not only of public concern, but also of language researchers to see how the mass media takes sides. By utilizing qualitative methods and critical discourse analysis initiated by Norman Fairclough, this study focuses on the analysis of the news headlines on the shooting of FPI members on the Jakarta Cikampek Toll Road. Based on the results of the analysis on news text production practices which are realized through titles, it appears that there is a partiality towards one of the parties. Apart from that, in the production of texts, there is also a motivation in the production of texts, namely efforts to create a positive image of certain parties. Abstract

Studi ini menganalisis kognisi sosial pada narasi TSM (terstruktur, sistematis, dan masif) yang dibuat oleh tim pengacara pasangan calon (paslon) Pilpres 2 selama persidangan sengketa hasil suara Pilpres 2019 di Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK). Representasi dari kognisi sosial merupakan pengetahuan yang didalamnya memuat prinsip-prinsip “keadilan substantif”. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan mengacu pada forensik linguistik dengan mendasarkan pada ancangan Analisa Wacana Kritis (AWK) Teun A. van Dijk. Data yang digunakan adalah transkrip percakapan persidangan yang dibuat oleh Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK). Studi ini menemukan bahwa kognisi sosial tim pengacara paslon Pilpres 2 adalah representasi dari prinsip keadilan substantif. Prinsip ini terdiri atas empat pengetahuan yaitu rasionalitas pengadilan substantif, kejujuran dan abuse of power aparat pemerintahan, objektifitas mahkamah konstitusi, imparsialitas pemerintah dan penyelenggara pemilu. Prinsip ini dipergunakan oleh tim pengacara paslon Pilpres 2 untuk mendorong supaya hakim MK tidak sekadar melakukan penghitungan ulang suara namun didorong untuk menyelidiki pelanggaran TSM yang diduga dilakukan oleh paslon Pilpres 1. Abstract

Setiap masyarakat tidak asing lagi kita temukan adanya tingkat golongan kelas masyarakat atau kedudukan masyarakat yang berbeda-beda. Berawal dari adanya perbedaan kelas masyarakat maka muncullah suatu gagasan yakni stratifikasi sosial. Stratifikais sosial memiliki berbagai macam bentuk. Namun, peneliti memilih stratifikasi sosial berdasarkan tingkat kelas masyarakat, kriteria kehormatan, perekonomian, dan kedudukan atau status masyarakat. Peneliti membuktikan bentuk-bentuk stratifikasi sosial melalui kutipan dialog yang terdapat dalam naskah drama Nyonya-Nyonya.Adapun tujuan penelitian ini memaparkan stratifikasi sosial yang tergambar dalam naskah drama Nyonya-Nyonya karya Wisran Hadi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni menerapkan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik simak-catat. Hasil analisis membuktikan bahwa setiap tokoh pada naskah drama Nyonya-Nyonya mengandung adanya bentuk-bentuk stratifikasi sosial yang digambarkan melalui kutipan dialog. Data pada penelitian ini yakni sebanyak 11 data yang diantaranya mengandung bentuk stratifikasi sosial kelas atas, kelas menengah, golongan atas kriteria kehormatan, serta aspek ascirbed status dan achived status.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat kejujuran dan skor kepercayaan peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, pendidik akan selalu bersentuhan dengan istilah evaluasi pembelajaran seperti tes. Akan tetapi, dalam realitas implementasinya dari pelaksanaan tes tersebut masih ditemui tindak penyimpangan yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik. Pendidik urgensi sekali untuk mengetahui segala proses kegiatan belajar mengajar, terutama perihal pelaksanaan ujian. Ketidakjujuran dalam penerapan ujian daring merupakan salah satu masalah yang terjadi di Indonesia selama sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis akan memberikan solusi atas problematika tersebut. Tentunya, dengan fitur-fitur yang menarik dalam laman Autoproctor, baik itu kamera, audio, dan tab switch akan memperlihatkan secara konkret perihal sejauh mana tingkat kejujuran dan skor kepercayaan peserta didik dalam mengerjakan tes yang telah dirancang oleh seorang pendidik sebelumnya. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan laman ini adalah mix method. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan efektivitas laman Autoproctor dalam merepresentasikan trust score dan skor sesungguhnya pada sistem PJJ dapat dikatakan kredibel dan efektif. Oleh karena itu, hadirnya laman Autoproctor melalui beragam fiturnya, yakni camera, audio, dan tab switch, dapat memberikan jawaban atas kegelisahan pendidik maupun peserta didik, terutama mengenai pemberian “skor sesungguhnya yang sudah terhindar dari berbagai tindakan menyimpang” peserta didik, terutama ketika evaluasi pembelajaran online dilakukan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the Microsoft Teams application in teaching essay writing skills to students in class XI SMA Bangun Cipta Rumbia, Lampung. Based on the result of preliminary observation shows that students learning outcome was still low and there were some problems related to the impact of their writing skills that still have not achieved the expected aims. This research used the action research method, involving 30 students. Quantitative data was taken from the results of comparing the results of writing essays on initial conditions (pre-cycle), cycle 1, and cycle 2, while qualitative data was taken during observation and action. The results showed that there was an increase in learning activities and learning outcomes in writing essays for students. This increase is known from the percentage of students' activeness in participating in the learning process has increased, the results obtained in cycle 2 the percentage of "very active" and "active" was 30% and the percentage of "less active" and "very less active" decreased by 23.33%. The results of students' essay writing skills also increased, this increase can be seen from the percentage of the mastery score of essay writing in Cycle 1 of 63.33%, then experienced a significant increase in Cycle 2 with the percentage of completeness value of 73.33%. This means that the application of the Microsoft Teams application based on technological developments has a positive impact on the development of students in the learning process, especially essay writing skills.

Abstract

 Indonesian language is rich in loanwords. This is due to the historical presence of various colonizers in the country, such as the Netherlands, Portugal, England, and Japan. Additionally, there were trading interactions with nations like the Arabs, Indians, Chinese, and Persians. The influx of these foreign cultures inevitably left linguistic imprints on the Indonesian language. Portuguese, which arrived in 1511 with initial trading intentions, ended up being enticed into colonization, leading to the unwitting integration of Portuguese words into the Indonesian society. This research aims to examine the extent to which Portuguese words have been absorbed into the Indonesian language and have been used by the language users in this country without awareness. A qualitative method was employed in this study, relying on primary data gathered through direct interviews with native speakers of Portuguese. Secondary data was also collected through the analysis of various dictionaries. The findings of this research indicate that only a limited number of Portuguese words have been assimilated into the Indonesian language. Several words related to religious elements, food, and object names continue to be in use, such as "gereja" (church), "natal" (Christmas), "sekolah" (school), "bangku" (bench), and "kemeja" (shirt). This phenomenon can be attributed to the strong linguistic ties of the Indonesian society with religious and socio-cultural matters, as these loanwords have become deeply integrated and commonly used by the population.

Abstract

One of the main concerns of most language teachers is to provide solutions for language learners in order to develop language proficiency. In this case, speaking skills have become a major concern of language teachers as well as language learners. These problems in this research include the learning atmosphere that is not yet pleasant, the application of learning models and methods is not yet effective and efficient, students' internal constraints, the assessment process is not yet effective, and there is no motivation and involvement of all students' senses in learning. This study examines students' needs for learning to speak based on social cognitive theory. Data were obtained from class XI students in five senior high schools. The results of the research found that 1) it is necessary to create a pleasant learning atmosphere; 2) the need to choose the right model and method as well as apply it effectively and efficiently in learning because this is related to students' internal problems; 3) There needs to be an improvement process in aspects of the appraisal process; 4) there needs to be motivation and involvement of all student senses in learning. It can be concluded that this problem requires innovation and development of speaking teaching models in order to improve the quality of teaching speaking in class XI senior high school students.
