Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of andragogy principles in the context of teaching practicum in Islamic higher education. This research is expected to provide a comprehensive understanding of effective learning methods for students and the obstacles that can occur in other universities, as well as alternative solutions that can be considered in minimizing the obstacles experienced. This study uses a qualitative approach as a research method. Data collection was carried out during the teaching practicum with three ways of observation, interviews, and documentation to related parties. The learning methods used by Postgraduate practicum students of IAIN Kediri in andragogy include: 1) Lectures; 2) Discussion and Interaction; 3) Case Study; 4) Problem-Based Learning; 5) Collaborative Learning; 6) Technology-Based Learning; 7) Simulation or Demonstration. The main obstacles faced by IAIN Kediri Postgraduate students include: 1) Lack of Practicum Student Teaching Experience; and 2) Time Management. Alternative solutions offered in dealing with these practicum obstacles include: 1) Mastering Peembelajaran which is done by practicing and asking for advice; 2) Improve Time Management Skills

Abstract

Penilaian hasil belajar siswa merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam sistem pendidikan yang berfungsi untuk mengukur sejauh mana pencapaian kompetensi yang diharapkan pada peserta didik. Di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Budi Mulia, penilaian tidak hanya berfokus pada aspek kognitif, tetapi juga keterampilan praktis yang relevan dengan bidang keahlian masing-masing. Artikel ini mengulas pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam pembuatan sistem penilaian hasil belajar siswa SMK yang meliputi penilaian berbasis kompetensi, teknik penilaian yang digunakan, serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendampingan dan pelatihan, sistem yang dibangun menggunakan Visual Studio, evaluasi pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan evaluasi berbasis kuesioner untuk menilai sistem dengan usability testing sederhana dan kualitas pelatihan. Kegiatan ini juga bertujuan untuk membantu guru dan staf dalam mengolah jadwal dan nilai siswa, serta meningkatkan kemampuan guru untuk dapat mengembangkan sistem. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan penerimaan sistem dengan usability testing sebesar 81%, sedangkan untuk pelatihan yang diberikan mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 85,33%. Angka ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil kegiatan PKM ini sudah baik dan dapat diterima.

Abstract

Banana stems have benefits and can be processed into products with economic value. People sometimes ignore banana stems. Waste that is thrown away requires processing to reduce the amount of waste in the environment. The purpose of community service is to innovate to utilize banana stem waste into commercial products. The results of the community service are chips products that have characteristic flavors from the mixture. The community's response after participating in the training and eating the chips product: 1) opening up home business opportunities for the community in RT 03, Talang Banjar Village. 2) reducing waste from banana stems that are thrown into the environment. 3) providing useful knowledge and training to the community in RT 03, Talang Banjar Village.

Abstract

Liquid contains many pollutants that can pollute the soil, groundwater and surface water. Talang Banjar Market is close to residential areas. The generation of waste and liquid waste from the market can pollute the environment and public health. Community service methods 1) conducting counseling. 2) providing materials. 3) practicing making artificial wetlands. 4) Participants are residents of RT03, Talang Banjar Village, Jambi City. The purpose of community service is to provide counseling and practice in handling liquid using an wetland system. The results increase knowledge and skills in handling liquid in RT03, Talang Banjar Village, Jambi City. The enthusiasm of residents is quite high in participating in counseling and practicing waste handling with wetlands system. The concern of residents around the traditional market area for the environment is a potential that must be developed.

Abstract

Jambi City has a Bantar Village program that has a variety of innovative development programs. Garbage and waste require effective processing to support Bantar Village. Method 1) Collection, cleaning, painting and waste of paint can. 2) Application of the 4R principle as a solution to reduce plastic waste. The purpose of the service is in the form of counseling to provide education and skills in making trash cans from paint cans to residents in RT16, Payo Selincah Village, Jambi City. The results of the paint can trash can products can be used by residents as one of the supporters of the Bantar Village program. Residents have the knowledge and skills in efforts to reduce plastic waste that can generate economic value.

Abstract

Abstrak : Asosiasi Pengusaha Indonesia (APINDO) meluncurkan Program APINDO MERDEKA untuk mendukung pertumbuhan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) dengan menjadikan UMKM sebagai tempat praktik bagi mahasiswa yang berperan sebagai Business Consultant. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional UMKM melalui panduan profesional yang membantu dalam pengelolaan sumber daya dan pengurangan pemborosan. Di era digital saat ini, APINDO juga meluncurkan program APINDO UMKM Merdeka yang secara khusus berfokus pada transformasi digital UMKM. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui observasi lapangan dan penyusunan program kerja berdasarkan indikator kinerja utama (KPI) UMKM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program ini efektif dalam meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan daya saing UMKM di pasar, membuktikan bahwa pendampingan oleh mahasiswa dan transformasi digital dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan kinerja UMKM di era digital

Abstract

The improvement of human resource (HR) competencies is very important as an effort to support public services to be carried out effectively, especially in rural areas. This service aims to identify and analyze efforts to improve human resource competencies in order to enhance the quality of public services in Ombo Village, Sirenja District, Donggala Regency. The methods used include a qualitative approach with observations at the service location, interviews, and document analysis. The research results indicate that education and human resource development play a crucial role in enhancing the capabilities of village officials and public service personnel in the village. The education provided includes an understanding of the duties and functions of village government officials, with the expectation that they can manage resources, including the management and administration of village governance, as well as the basic concepts of service quality, including the rights and obligations of the community. The implementation of this program has an impact on improving service efficiency, community satisfaction, and responsiveness to the needs of residents. However, there are several challenges such as limited resources, infrastructure, and budget support that affect the sustainability of the program. Therefore, synergy between local government, stakeholders, and the community is necessary to ensure that the human resource competency enhancement program runs sustainably and provides long-term benefits for public services in Ombo Village.

Abstract

Globalisasi membawa perubahan signifikan bagi kehidupan manusia. Hal tersebut tidak hanya berdampak positif tetapi juga berdampak negatif khusunya bagi tumbuh kembang anak. Terutama pada perubahan dalam persoalan karakter anak. Hadirnya digitalisasi yang menjadi salah satu bagian dari Globalisasi tersebut menjadi hal tidak terpisahkan dan juga berdampak pada perubahan karakter khususnya generasi Z. Teknologi yang sejatinya memberikan kemudahan dalam aktivitas keseharian rupanya menimbulkan efek buruk pada anak. Penggunaan hand phone atau gawai yang sering digunakan tanpa pembatasan waktu serta kontrol dari orang tua menjadikan anak kecanduan, waktunya habis pada gawai, tidak fokus, dan anak menjadi malas belajar, serta beraktivitas yang lainnya. Dalam hal ini, memperhatikan karakter menjadi sebuah upaya agar perubahan karakter yang terjadi dapat segera disikapi. Selain itu, agar generasi Z dapat memelihara nilai-nilai baik, menghormati antar sesama, dan lebih menghargai waktu.selain itu agar dapat mengambil keputusan mana yang tepat dan tidak tepat. Pengabdian ini dilakukan beberapa tahap mulai dari perencanaan, persiapan, hingga pelaksanaan. Tahap perencanaan dimulai dengan pembentukan tim pengabdian. Selanjutnya tahapan persiapan berupa kelengakapan dalam melakukan pengabdian (alat tulis, infocus, tape rekorder, spanduk, materi, dan hal lain yang terkait). Pada tahap pelaksanaan yaitu memberikan pengayaan atau presentasi materi terkait bagaiamana mengantisipasi perubahan karakter khususnya pada generasi Z melalui metode ceramah, diskusi, dan tanya jawab. Melalui pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman terkait perubahan karakter sehingga dapat mengantisipasi terhadap hal yang kurang baik pada anak sejak dini. Adapun luaran yang ditargetkan dalam pengabdian ini terdiri dari luaran wajib berupa jurnal terakreditasi sinta dan luaran tambahan berupa spanduk kegiatan dan bahan ajar.

Abstract

One alternative that can be done to minimize the increase in plastic waste is to recycle the waste into valuable goods or objects such as trash cans. By utilizing waste from plastic bottles into trash cans, little by little we can reduce the amount of waste, especially plastic bottles, and improve the quality of cleanliness of the surrounding environment. The type of method used in this activity is direct observation which is combined in the form of a system of action or service. This activity was carried out at UPTD SD Inpres Wewaru, Aimere sub-district, starting on October 15 and ending on November 5 2023. This form of service consists of several stages including the planning stage, preparation stage, implementation stage and evaluation stage. The results of this service show that not all waste has a bad impact on society, there is some waste that has a positive impact. This happens if waste is used for things that are beneficial to society.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are essential for driving economic growth and creating jobs, especially within the traditional jamu industry. In Pangkatrejo Village, jamu MSMEs encounter difficulties such as a lack of branding knowledge and inefficient marketing strategies. Given the growing interest in natural products after the Covid-19 pandemic, jamu has the opportunity to emerge as a prominent product. This activity involves a support program for traditional jamu MSMEs in Pangkatrejo Village, concentrating on rebranding efforts that involve packaging design, modernizing bottles, and developing social media presence. The goal is to improve the visibility and competitiveness of jamu products, as well as to expand the market and strengthen the local economy.
