Abstract

Stunting remains a chronic nutritional problem and a major challenge in public health development in Indonesia. One of the contributing factors to stunting is the low intake of animal protein, particularly fish, due to limited public knowledge and dietary habits. This community service activity aimed to improve community knowledge and understanding of the importance of fish consumption as an effort to prevent stunting through the socialization of the Community Movement for Fish Consumption (Gerakan Masyarakat Makan Ikan/Gemarikan). The activity was conducted in Banda Masen Village, Lhokseumawe City, in June 2024, targeting community members, especially housewives and families with toddlers. The method applied an educational and participatory approach through lectures, interactive discussions, fish-processing demonstrations, and evaluation using pretest and posttest questionnaires. The results showed an increase in community knowledge across all assessed aspects, including understanding of stunting, nutritional content of fish, benefits of fish consumption, and healthy and attractive fish-processing methods. High community participation during the activity also indicated a positive response to the implemented program. Therefore, the socialization of Gemarikan proved to be effective in enhancing community nutritional knowledge and has the potential to support stunting prevention efforts at the community level.   Keywords: Community Movement for Fish Consumption, Lhokseumawe City, Stunting, Community Service

Abstract

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology presents both opportunities and challenges in the educational sector, particularly for high school students who often lack a comprehensive understanding of its potential as a learning tool. This community service activity aimed to enhance the digital literacy and AI utilization skills of students at SMA Negeri 1 Peusangan Siblah Krueng, Bireuen Regency. Using a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design, the activity involved 50 eleventh-grade students selected through purposive sampling. The intervention consisted of interactive counseling on AI concepts and hands-on training using various AI applications like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Canva AI. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The results showed a significant increase in students' understanding of AI concepts, ability to formulate effective prompts, and skills in operating AI applications independently. The average post-test scores across all assessed aspects, such as basic understanding, prompt engineering, and practical skills, increased substantially compared to pre-test scores. Students also demonstrated high enthusiasm and a positive attitude toward using AI in learning. This training successfully equipped students with the knowledge and skills to utilize AI as an effective, responsible, and productive learning aid, supporting their readiness for educational transformation in the digital era. Abstract

Stunting remains a major public health issue in Aceh Province, including Bireuen Regency, which records a prevalence of 26.5%. One of the main contributing factors is the improper provision of complementary feeding (MP-ASI), particularly regarding nutritional composition and the limited use of local food ingredients. This community service program aimed to enhance the capacity of Posyandu cadres in Pante Karya Village to develop locally sourced complementary foods as a strategy to prevent stunting. The methods included education sessions, hands-on MP-ASI preparation training, and post-training mentoring through field visits. The results showed an increase in cadres’ knowledge and skills in designing nutritionally balanced MP-ASI menus, with an average knowledge improvement of 35%. Participants successfully utilized local food ingredients such as fish, tempeh, and vegetables as sources of protein and micronutrients. This program demonstrates that participatory and practical-based training effectively improves cadre capacity and contributes to sustainable stunting prevention efforts at the community level. Abstract

This study was conducted to obtain an overview of students’ learning interest and learning motivation in the Asian Cuisine course among 2024 cohort students of the Culinary Education Study Program at Universitas Negeri Surabaya during their third semester. This study is grounded in the limited availability of empirical research that specifically examines learning interest and motivation in skill-based courses within Culinary Education, particularly the Asian Cuisine course, which is practical in nature and rooted in culinary culture. The study employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive design and involved 189 students as respondents using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through learning interest and learning motivation questionnaires that had met reliability criteria. The data were analyzed descriptively using mean scores and category distributions. The results indicate that students’ learning interest was in the high category, with a mean score of 3.78 and a percentage of 69.8%, while learning motivation was also categorized as high, with a mean score of 3.65 and a percentage of 62.4%. The novelty of this study lies in its presentation of empirical evidence that specifically describes students’ learning interest and motivation in the Asian Cuisine course within the context of Culinary Education, which can serve as a basis for developing more contextual, relevant, and quality-oriented instructional strategies in vocational culinary education.

Abstract

This study aims to segment wholesale customers using the K-Means clustering algorithm and to examine the impact of outliers and data imbalance on the clustering results. The data are taken from the Wholesale Customers Dataset of the UCI Machine Learning Repository, consisting of 440 customers with eight numerical attributes representing annual purchase amounts. The preprocessing steps include exploratory data analysis, outlier detection using Z-Score and boxplot visualization, handling of extreme values with winsorizing, and Z-Score normalization to make the attribute scales comparable. The number of clusters is determined using the Elbow Method. Applying K-Means with produces two highly imbalanced clusters, with 437 customers in Cluster 0 and 3 customers in Cluster 1. Cluster 0 represents regular customers whose purchasing patterns are close to the overall average, while Cluster 1 consists of customers with very high purchases, especially in Frozen and Delicassen categories. Evaluation using the average within centroid distance and the Davies–Bouldin Index shows that, after outlier handling and normalization, the cluster structure becomes more stable and easier to interpret. The resulting segmentation can support differentiated marketing and service strategies for regular and high-spending customers and highlights the importance of proper preprocessing when applying K-Means.

Abstract

SMK Telekomunikasi Telesandi Bekasi merupakan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan yang berfokus pada bidang studi Teknologi dan Komunikasi. Jurusan yang ada meliputi Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan, Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak, Desain Komunikasi Visual Dan TELCO. Sekolah ini berdiri pada tahun 2008 dan saat ini sudah Akreditasi A. Selain itu, Dengan fasilitas yang memadai seperti laboratorium komputer, studio multimedia, dan peralatan telekomunikasi modern, sekolah ini berkomitmen menghasilkan lulusan yang kompeten dan siap bersaing di dunia kerja. Untuk itu SMK Telekomunikasi Telesandi memerlukan sebuah media yang dapat menampilkan produk dan prestasi yang dapat dilihat oleh khalayak ramai tanpa dibatasi oleh ruang dan waktu. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mengusulkan judul:Penerapan Virtual Expo untuk Pameran Produk dari SMK Telekomunikasi Telesandi . Pendayagunaan virtual expo ini diharapkan dapat membantu pihak SMK Telekomunikasi Telesandi dapat melakukan interaksi, kolaborasi dan aksesbilitas dengan pihak industry, alumni,institusi pendidikan lain.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital menjadikan YouTube tidak hanya sebagai media hiburan dan informasi, tetapi juga sebagai ruang ekonomi digital yang memberikan peluang pendapatan bagi content creator. Persaingan yang semakin ketat menuntut content creator untuk mengelola konten secara strategis agar mampu menarik audiens dan meningkatkan pendapatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh judul video, thumbnail video, dan isi video terhadap pendapatan content creator YouTube di Kabupaten Kediri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksplanatori. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner daring terhadap 48 content creator YouTube yang aktif dan telah memonetisasi kontennya. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa judul video, thumbnail video, dan isi video secara simultan maupun parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pendapatan content creator. Isi video menjadi faktor yang paling dominan dalam memengaruhi pendapatan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa keselarasan antara judul, thumbnail, dan isi video merupakan kunci dalam strategi pengelolaan konten YouTube. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi akademik dalam kajian ekonomi digital serta menjadi referensi praktis bagi content creator dalam meningkatkan pendapatan..

Abstract

The core intent of this research is to find out the roles that the learning organizational culture, academic leadership, and collegiality contribute to the knowledge-sharing behavior development in educational institutions. The research issue is set on the proposition that knowledge sharing has a good effect on learning and academic performance. An explanatory quantitative design was employed in the study that consisted of 160 educators who were selected by purposive sampling. The data collection instrument was a five-point Likert scale questionnaire, and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings show that learning organizational culture, academic leadership, and collegiality are not only the factors but also the main contributors to the knowledge-sharing behavior, which is the most significant and positive impact. This research, on the one hand, significantly contributes to the theory of educational management and organizational behavior in the context of learning organizations and on the other hand, provides educational institutions with strategic implications through the continuous interaction of learning culture, collaborative academic leadership, and collegial work climate.

Abstract

Semiconductors are a critical foundation of modern life and economic development in Malaysia, enabling the functioning of digital devices, communication systems, and healthcare technologies. As Malaysia progresses toward a technology-driven and high-income economy, reliance on semiconductor-based systems has increased across daily activities and manufacturing. The country plays an important role in the global semiconductor supply chain, particularly in electrical and electronics manufacturing, assembly, and testing, which contributes significantly to employment, exports, and foreign investment. However, their widespread use, awareness of the importance of semiconductors among Malaysians remain limited due to their largely invisible role in end products. This study examines the significance of semiconductors in Malaysian life and the economy while assessing public understanding to support technological preparedness, innovation, and sustainable national development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of knowledge, attitudes, and awareness of students towards waste management at SMA Negeri 6 Skouw. A descriptive quantitative approach was used in this study with a survey method through a closed area distribution. The research instrument was a questionnaire consisting of 3 main aspects: knowledge, attitudes, and awareness of students towards waste management. The research sample consisted of 48 respondents selected by purposive sampling. The results showed that students had a very positive profile in the three main aspects of waste management. In the knowledge aspect, students were in the capable category as evidenced by their high understanding of the classification of organic and inorganic waste and their risk impacts. This good knowledge was then embedded linearly with students' attitudes which were classified as positive so that a sense of personal responsibility arose to maintain the cleanliness of the school environment. Furthermore, this was reflected in the high level of awareness and demonstrated the readiness and commitment of the trained participants in carrying out real waste management efforts.
