Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Riset Pendidikan is a journal on Faculty of Education. Jurnal JERKIN: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Riset Pendidikan is under the auspices of the Faculty of Education, Universitas Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai. The journal is registered with E-ISSN: 2961-9890. Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Riset Pendidikan is published four times a year in September, December, March and June. Abstract

Education in the era of globalization is not only challenged by academic demands but also by an alarming crisis of character. Issues such as the decline of politeness, the erosion of respect for teachers, and the weakening of ethical conduct in the learning process have become fundamental concerns that require serious attention. In this context, fiqh al-adab—which encompasses ethical guidelines governing the teacher-student relationship in Islamic educational tradition—offers a relevant and transformative solution. This study employs a library research method by examining classical works of scholars such as Imam Nawawi, Al-Ghazali, and Al-Zarnuji, and exploring their contributions to character development in students. The findings reveal that teachers’ adab, such as sincerity, patience, humility, and professionalism in teaching, significantly influence the creation of a respectful and effective learning environment. Meanwhile, students’ adab toward teachers and knowledge—such as humility, focus during learning, proper etiquette in the classroom, and sensitivity to the teacher’s condition—contributes to shaping learners who are not only knowledgeable but also morally upright. Therefore, fiqh al-adab serves as a normative foundation for revitalizing character education amidst the moral challenges facing today’s younger generation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of Return on Assets (ROA), Earning per Share (EPS), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on the stock prices of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the period 2020-2024. There are 47 banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange on the IDX. The technique in this study used the Purposive sampling method which was used as sample selection, with criteria that produced 20 samples. Data analysis used the classical assumption test and panel data regression test including the t-test and F-test with the help of the E-views13 application. Based on the background, this study is based on the importance of stock prices as an indicator of company value and investment attractiveness, as well as the high fluctuations in stock prices influenced by the company's financial performance. From this study, several data can be obtained that partially ROA and EPS have a significant effect on stock prices, while DER does not have a significant effect. Simultaneously, the three independent variables have a significant effect on stock prices. This finding shows that the profitability of banking companies is a major concern for investors in making investment decisions in the capital market.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kompetensi pegawai berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pelayanan dokumen pada Kantor Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Wajo. Judul tesis ini diangkat berdasarkan permasalahan yaitu masih adanya anggota masyarakat yang beranggapan bahwa sebagian besar kemampuan petugas pelayanan tersebut kurang dalam hal kecepatan dalam melayani masyarakat. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek dan lokasi penelitian adalah penduduk yang mendaftarkan dokumen sipilnya pada Kantor Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Wajo. Uji reliabilitas dan validitas dalam penelitian ini digunakan untuk menilai keabsahan kuesioner penelitian, sedangkan uji t dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah variabel bebas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel terikat. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Kompetensi Pegawai berpengaruh lemah atau tidak signifikan terhadap Kualitas Pelayanan pada Kantor Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil, dengan variabel sebesar 9,7%.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Islamic educational philosophy in shaping the religious character of students in the digital era that is full of information technology flows. The main focus of this study is how the basic values ​​of Islamic education, such as monotheism, morality, and spirituality, can be implemented effectively in a modern learning environment dominated by technology. The method used is a qualitative method with a literature study approach, through analysis of classical and contemporary Islamic educational philosophy literature, as well as a study of digital-based education phenomena. The results of the study show that Islamic educational philosophy has a strong foundation in shaping a complete and religious personality, even amidst the challenges of the digital era. The integration of Islamic ethical principles and the use of educational technology is the key to creating a generation that is intellectually intelligent and spiritually strong. However, the main challenge lies in the dominance of secular digital content and the weak control of parents and educators in guiding the use of technology wisely. This study is expected to provide a new direction in the formulation of Islamic curriculum and learning methods that are adaptive to the development of the times without losing the spirit of Islam

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance teachers' skills in utilizing the Wordwall application as an interactive learning medium in the Sungai Kunjang District, Samarinda City. The activity was conducted offline and involved 30 elementary school teachers who are members of the Teacher Working Group (KKG). The implementation began with a planning stage, which included identifying teachers' needs regarding the use of digital media in learning. The training was then delivered through the introduction of Wordwall features, demonstrations of how the application works, and hands-on practice sessions. The results of the program showed a significant improvement in teachers' ability to operate Wordwall and successfully integrate it into classroom learning activities. Students also responded positively to the use of this media, as indicated by their increased motivation and enthusiasm for learning. Furthermore, the use of Wordwall accelerated both the preparation and implementation of learning activities, thereby improving time efficiency. However, challenges remain, such as the lack of confidence among some teachers in using technology, highlighting the need for further support and guidance.

Abstract

Kebijakan desentralisasi pendidikan pasca reformasi menjadi tonggak penting dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah secara sistematis berbagai literatur yang membahas pelaksanaan otonomi daerah dalam sektor pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah systematic literature review dengan pendekatan kualitatif  menganalis berbagai hasil studi dari jurnal terakreditasi nasional, laporan kebijakan, dan dokumen peraturan perundang-undangan dalam rentang waktu 2012–2025. Literatur dikumpulkan melalui penelusuran sistematis di basis data seperti Google Scholar, SINTA, Garuda, dan DOAJ dengan menggunakan kata kunci terkait desentralisasi pendidikan, manajemen pendidikan, dan otonomi daerah.  Hasil menunjukkan bahwa desentralisasi membawa peluang besar dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan berbasis kebutuhan lokal melalui manajemen berbasis sekolah (MBS) dan pelibatan masyarakat. Namun, tantangan utama yang muncul meliputi ketimpangan sumber daya, lemahnya kapasitas manajerial, dan belum optimalnya sinergi antar level pemerintahan. Studi ini merekomendasikan reformulasi kebijakan yang lebih partisipatif dan kontekstual, peningkatan kapasitas SDM daerah, serta harmonisasi regulasi pusat-daerah untuk mengoptimalkan manfaat desentralisasi pendidikan.

Abstract

Pengambilan keputusan strategis yang efektif sangat penting bagi lembaga pendidikan dalam menghadapi tantangan dan perubahan yang dinamis di era digital. Teknologi informasi (TI) telah menjadi salah satu komponen utama yang dapat mendukung proses pengambilan keputusan berbasis data secara lebih cepat, akurat, dan terintegrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran TI dalam mendukung pengambilan keputusan strategis di lembaga pendidikan berdasarkan kajian sistematis terhadap literatur ilmiah terbitan tahun 2020 hingga 2025. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan pendekatan PRISMA dan analisis sintesis tematik. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa TI memainkan peran penting dalam empat aspek utama: perencanaan strategis, pengumpulan dan analisis data, komunikasi dan koordinasi kebijakan, serta efektivitas keputusan manajerial. Namun, penerapan TI juga menghadapi tantangan seperti kesiapan infrastruktur, literasi digital, dan keterbatasan sumber daya. Kajian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memahami bagaimana TI dapat dioptimalkan untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih efisien dan berbasis bukti di lingkungan pendidikan.

Abstract

Mutu pendidikan merupakan faktor kunci dalam menentukan kemajuan suatu bangsa di era global yang kompetitif. Dalam menghadapi tantangan zaman dan dinamika sistem pendidikan nasional, diperlukan pendekatan manajerial yang mampu mendorong peningkatan mutu secara menyeluruh dan berkelanjutan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi Total Quality Management (TQM) dan siklus PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) sebagai strategi penguatan mutu pendidikan di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah studi literatur, yaitu dengan menelaah berbagai referensi ilmiah, kebijakan pendidikan, dan hasil penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. TQM sebagai pendekatan manajemen berfokus pada keterlibatan seluruh elemen organisasi, kepuasan pelanggan, serta perbaikan berkelanjutan. Sementara siklus PDCA menjadi instrumen penting dalam mengelola perubahan dan mengevaluasi kinerja lembaga pendidikan secara sistematis. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi TQM dan siklus PDCA dapat memperkuat sistem manajemen mutu di sekolah, meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran, serta membangun budaya mutu yang berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, implementasi kedua strategi ini secara konsisten dan menyeluruh diharapkan mampu mendorong terciptanya lembaga pendidikan yang unggul dan adaptif terhadap perkembangan zaman.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the forms of teacher professionalism in integrating information and communication technology (ICT) into teaching practices as a strategy to enhance the quality of national education. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach through a literature review of relevant academic sources, particularly those discussing the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework. The findings reveal that teacher professionalism is reflected in various activities such as designing TPACK-based lessons, utilizing interactive digital media, participating in ICT training, developing digital teaching portfolios, and collaborating in digital design teams. ICT integration by teachers has a transformative effect on the learning process, enabling personalization, flexibility, and the promotion of students’ digital literacy and ethics. The study highlights TPACK as the foundational framework for building 21st-century teacher competencies that are adaptive to technological advancements. Therefore, sustainable strategies such as TPACK-based training, strengthening digital teacher communities of practice, equitable infrastructure, and providing incentives and certifications for digitally innovative teachers are recommended to reinforce ICT integration in the national education system.

Abstract

Optimal nutrition plays a vital role in supporting student attendance, cognition, and academic achievement. However, in many countries, including Indonesia, the integration of nutrition programs into education management remains suboptimal. This article reviews scientific literature on the integration of nutrition into formal education using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, analyzing sources from 2020 to 2025. Findings reveal a growing research trend focusing on student attendance, learning concentration, and school management effectiveness. Case studies from countries such as Brazil, Japan, and Kenya highlight best practices in cross-sector integration, despite challenges like limited funding, weak inter-ministerial coordination, and low school-level management capacity. The study underscores the need for education policies that embed nutrition as part of school resource management. Recommendations include evidence-based policies, dedicated budgets, capacity building for principals and teachers, and robust monitoring systems. Nutrition programs should thus be viewed not only as health interventions but also as strategic tools to enhance educational quality and equity.
