Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of Word of Mouth (WOM), price perception, and product quality on consumer purchasing decisions at Noira Coffee Kendari, both simultaneously and partially. The study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 105 respondents, with data collected via a structured questionnaire. The data were analysed using multiple linear regression as an inferential statistical technique to test the relationships between variables. The results indicate that, simultaneously, WOM, price perception, and product quality have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. Partially, WOM has no significant influence, whilst price perception has a negative and significant influence, and product quality has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. These findings indicate that consumer purchasing decisions at Noira Coffee are more determined by product quality and the alignment of price with perceived value than by word-of-mouth communication. The main implication of this study emphasises the importance of maintaining product quality and setting prices that are balanced with consumers’ perceived value as a key strategy for enhancing purchasing decisions

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of internal supervision at the Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Indonesia, identify factors that hinder its implementation, and formulate directions for strengthening supervisory institutions. The method used is normative juridical with legislative, conceptual, and comparative approaches. Legal materials include Law Number 16 of 2004 jo. Law Number 11 of 2021 concerning the Attorney General's Office and regulations related to internal supervision. The analysis of legal materials was conducted in a prescriptive-analytical manner through the stages of inventory, identification of legal issues, systematization, and interpretation. The research results indicate that supervision by the Deputy Attorney General for Supervision (JAM-Was) has not been effective due to weak functional independence, inconsistency in disciplinary enforcement, a closed organizational culture, and fragmentation of internal and external supervision mechanisms. This study concludes that strengthening internal supervision in the Attorney General's Office requires enhancing the institutional independence of JAM-Was, reinforcing the whistleblowing system, digitalizing supervision, and creating synergy among supervisory agencies to realize an Attorney General's Office that is integrative and accountable.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of person-job fit on employee performance, the effect of workload on employee performance, and the effect of person-job fit on workload. In addition, this study also aims to analyze the role of workload as a mediating variable in the relationship between person-job fit and employee performance, thereby providing a more comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms influencing the improvement of employee performance within the organization. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to employees and analyzed using statistical analysis techniques based on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The research results show that person-job fit has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Workload also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. In addition, person-job fit affects workload, and workload has been proven to mediate the relationship between person-job fit and employee performance. These findings indicate that the alignment between employee competencies and job demands, as well as proper workload management, are important factors in enhancing employee performance. This study provides managerial implications for organizations in efforts to place employees in positions that match their competencies and to arrange a proportional workload.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the online marketplace sector has transformed the way sellers operate their businesses in the digital age. The choice of online marketplace platform is a strategic decision as it directly influences market reach, operational efficiency and seller satisfaction. This study aims to analyse the influence of promotions, transaction costs, delivery services, and vendor support on seller satisfaction when selecting an online marketplace platform. The study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 100 sellers operating in the Central Java region. Data were collected via a structured questionnaire and analysed using Partial Least Squares-based Structural Equation Modelling (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that promotions, transaction costs, delivery services, and vendor support have a positive influence on seller satisfaction. Among these four factors, vendor support has the most significant influence on seller satisfaction when using online marketplace platforms. These findings suggest that the technical support and services provided by platform operators play a crucial role in enhancing seller satisfaction and the continued use of the platform by sellers.

Abstract

Academic anxiety can reduce concentration, impair working memory, and have a negative impact on academic performance. This study aims to synthesise the scientific evidence regarding the effectiveness of Chewing Gum Distraction (CGD) and Slow Deep Breathing (SDB) in reducing academic anxiety using the Roy Adaptation Model (RAM) framework. This study employed a literature review method with a systematic search across five international scientific databases Scopus, PubMed/MEDLINE, ScienceDirect, Wiley Online Library, and Google Scholar for publications from 2019 to 2025. The included articles were primary studies with a Randomised Controlled Trial (RCT), quasi-experimental, or experimental design investigating the CGD or SDB interventions on academic anxiety or stress among university students. A total of six articles met the inclusion criteria and were analysed thematically. The results of the review indicate that both interventions consistently reduced anxiety or stress levels significantly (p < 0.05). CGD operates through cognitive regulation by reducing rumination and modulating attention, whilst SDB operates through physiological regulation by increasing parasympathetic activity and autonomic stability. The combination of these two interventions has the potential to serve as an effective psychophysiological adaptation strategy for reducing students’ academic anxiety.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the relationship between work engagement and eudaimonic workplace well-being among secondary school teachers, emphasising the importance of work engagement as a source of psychological well-being based on meaning and self-actualisation within the school environment. The study employs a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research sample comprised 45 secondary school teachers selected using total sampling. Data were collected using scales measuring work engagement and eudaimonic workplace well-being, and were analysed using Pearson’s Product-Moment correlation test with the aid of SPSS version 26. The results of the analysis indicate a strong and significant positive relationship between work engagement and eudaimonic workplace well-being (r = 0.661; p = 0.000). These findings suggest that teachers with high levels of work engagement tend to have better workplace well-being, particularly in terms of the meaning of work, personal growth, and a sense of making a positive contribution in the workplace. This study makes an empirical contribution by strengthening the evidence that increased work engagement is a key factor in the development of eudaimonic-based teacher well-being, and can serve as a basis for the formulation of policies and human resource management interventions in the field of education.

Abstract

The adolescent identity crisis, characterised by a decline in moral standards and weak self-control, poses a serious challenge for Islamic educational institutions, prompting Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Putri Campus 2 to develop a character education programme focused on fostering an Islamic character that is action-oriented. This study aims to analyse the character education strategies implemented and the factors supporting them. The research employs a qualitative approach using field research, with data collection techniques comprising observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as data analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings indicate that character education strategies are implemented through guidance, training, habit formation, assignments, supervision, and exemplary behaviour (uswah hasanah), which are applied consistently. Supporting factors for the character development of female students include the formation, application, and development of character, reinforced by the boarding school’s culture of discipline. These findings indicate that personality education strategies integrated with the institution’s values and culture are effective in shaping the Islamic personality of female students and have the potential to be adapted by other educational institutions with adjustments to the environmental context.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of digital economic literacy and creativity on the entrepreneurial interest of Economics Education students, both partially and simultaneously. The study employs a quantitative approach with a causal-associative design. The sample consists of 38 students from the 2022 cohort, selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analysed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that, when examined partially, digital economic literacy does not have a significant effect on entrepreneurial interest (t = 0.970; p = 0.339 > 0.05), whereas student creativity has a dominant effect and is marginally significant (t = 1.927; p = 0.062). Simultaneously, digital economic literacy and creativity had a significant effect on entrepreneurial interest (F = 3.810; p = 0.032 < 0.05) with a contribution of 17.88%. These findings indicate that creativity is a stronger factor than digital economic literacy in shaping students’ interest in entrepreneurship. The implications of this research emphasise the importance of strengthening creativity-oriented learning through innovative and contextual learning strategies as an effort to enhance the entrepreneurial interest of Economics Education students.
