Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika berbasis etnomatematika dengan mengaitkan unsur budaya Papua, khususnya rumah adat Honai, ke dalam materi geometri. Metode yang digunakan adalah R&D dengan model pengembangan 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Produk yang dihasilkan meliputi Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS), serta instrumen evaluasi yang dirancang sesuai kebutuhan peserta didik dan kurikulum yang berlaku. Subjek penelitian mencakup guru dan siswa Madrasah Aliyah di Kabupaten Jayapura, sementara pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, tes, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran memperoleh tingkat validitas sebesar 82,38 (kategori sangat valid) menurut para ahli, tingkat kepraktisan 89,43 (sangat praktis) berdasarkan respon guru dan siswa, serta efektivitas dengan 86,21% siswa mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa integrasi budaya lokal ke dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, keterlibatan, serta motivasi siswa. Selain itu, penerapan model pembelajaran TTW turut mendorong keterampilan berpikir kritis, kemampuan berdiskusi, dan keteraturan dalam menuliskan ide matematis. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berbasis etnomatematika Papua, khususnya melalui konteks rumah Honai, layak digunakan pada pembelajaran matematika di Madrasah Aliyah. Tidak hanya mendukung peningkatan hasil belajar, perangkat ini juga berfungsi dalam pelestarian budaya, penguatan identitas lokal, serta pencapaian tujuan pendidikan kontekstual. Dengan demikian, etnomatematika dapat menjadi salah satu pendekatan inovatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika berbasis budaya. Sebagai rekomendasi, penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk mengembangkan perangkat serupa pada materi dan jenjang pendidikan lain, memperluas uji coba ke berbagai daerah di Papua, memanfaatkan media digital berbasis etnomatematika, serta mengkaji dampak jangka panjang penerapannya terhadap minat belajar, keterampilan abad 21, dan pelestarian budaya lokal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the obstacles faced by biology teachers and students in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at St. Rosa De Lima Catholic High School in Tondano. The Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes freedom of thought, project-based learning, and the development of critical and collaborative thinking skills, but its implementation still faces obstacles at the secondary school level. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of one biology teacher and ten students of class X. Data were analyzed descriptively, qualitatively, and quantitatively with percentage support to describe the level of resistance based on four main indicators: learning process, teaching materials, assessment, and curriculum information. The results of the study show that teachers' obstacles in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum are relatively low with an average of 18.6%, especially in terms of time management, limited laboratory facilities, and limited digital learning resources. In contrast, internal student factors such as interest, motivation, readiness, and attention had an average of 67.17%, while external factors included family, school environment, and community support at 55.5%. These findings indicate that the success of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum depends on the pedagogical readiness of teachers, the availability of learning facilities, and the support of a conducive learning environment. This research contributes to providing an empirical picture of the challenges of implementing the Independent Curriculum in biology learning and becomes the basis for the development of adaptive, collaborative, and student-centered learning strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how the interaction between the cultural values brought by maritime cadets and the maritime discipline system within educational institutions shapes their habitus during the learning process. Maritime education is characterized by a high level of discipline, strict hierarchy, and the integration of technical skills with strong work ethics and character formation. However, cadets come from diverse cultural backgrounds, carrying values, norms, and social behaviors rooted in their communities. Cultural aspects such as collectivism, attitudes toward authority, and communal responsibility influence their perceptions of institutional rules and discipline. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method at the Malahayati Maritime Polytechnic in Aceh, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the interaction between cultural values and maritime discipline leads to dynamics of adaptation, resistance, and synthesis that form a new habitus. Cadets from collectivist cultures tend to adapt more easily to the hierarchical structure and teamwork, while those from more egalitarian backgrounds are often more critical of authority. Nonetheless, through continuous exposure, practical field experience, and mentorship, most cadets gradually internalize the values of maritime discipline without losing their cultural identity. This study highlights the importance of culturally sensitive curricula and inclusive guidance strategies. The results are expected to contribute to the development of maritime education that not only produces technically competent seafarers but also individuals with strong character, ethics, and the ability to thrive in multicultural working environments.

Abstract

Salah satu kendala utama pengembangan budidaya intensif adalah akumulasi nitrogen anorganik beracun yang harus dijaga sangat rendah dengan pertukaran air yang sering atau daur ulang air melalui biofilter. Studi ini menjelaskan metode lain untuk menghilangkan nitrogen anorganik menggunakan populasi bakteri heterotrofik yang ditambah dengan penambahan zat karbon, molase, untuk meningkatkan rasio umpan C:N di bawah kondisi laboratorium. Tujuan utama studi laboratorium adalah untuk mengetahui korelasi tingkat rasio C:N dengan kadar amonia, nitrit, oksigen terlarut, pH dan pertumbuhan udang dalam budidaya udang Penaeus monodon dengan Zero Water Exchange Model (ZWEM) menggunakan molase sebagai sumber karbon. Ditemukan bahwa penambahan tetes tebu pada tambak udang dengan ZWEM berperan dalam menghilangkan amonia dan nitrit. Selain itu, pemberian molase pada tangki laboratorium meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan persentase pertambahan berat udang serta meningkatkan populasi bakteri heterotrof. Avnimelecch, 1999 melaporkan bahwa pertumbuhan ikan di kolam yang diberi perlakuan dengan rasio C : N =16,6 : 1 secara signifikan lebih tinggi daripada ikan yang dibudidayakan di kolam yang diberi perlakuan dengan rasio C : N 11,1 : 1. Juga McIntonsh (2000) telah menumbuhkan udang putih berhasil di tambak dengan zero water exchange nodel usibg grain-based petelet ( 18 % protein) dengan rasio C : N 20,0 : 1.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Ibu harus memiliki pengetahuan yang baik untuk dapat mengajarkan anaknya dalam menanamkan perilaku pemeliharaan kesehatan. Penanaman perilaku pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut seharusnya dimulai sejak usia dini dan dimulai dari lingkungan keluarga. Masa anak-anak merupakan awal dari pembentukan perilaku, oleh sebab itu diharapkan ibu dapat mendidik anaknya untuk berperilaku yang benar memelihara kesehatan gigi dan mulutnya. Tujuan: Menganalisis hubungan peran ibu dalam pemeliharaan Kesehatan gigi dengan kejadian karies pada anak pra sekolah. Metode: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel berjumlah 60 responden dengan rincian 30 ibu dan 30 anak TK. Instrument penelitian menggunakan kuesioner dan pemeriksaan karies. Analisa data menggunakan uji spearman. Hasil: Sebagian besar responden memiliki perilaku sedang 10 responden (27%), dan kriteria karies gigi sedang dengan jumlah 12 responden (40%). Uji statistic didapatkan nilai signifikan dengan p-value: 0,017 (<α 0,05). Kesimpulan : Terdapat hubungan antara peran ibu dalam pemeliharaan Kesehatan gigi dengan kejadian karies pada anak pra sekolah di TK Wanita PUI Kota Tasikmalaya

Abstract

The use of effective learning media can improve the quality of learning and help students achieve learning goals. This study aims to determine the use of game-based learning media wordwall can improve student motivation in science learning in elementary school. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted at UPT SDN Blok I Cilegon. The subjects of the study were grade III students. Data collection techniques used include: observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that students are more enthusiastic and more motivated in the application of Wordwall learning media. Students are also more active during the learning process and they do not feel bored even though the traditional method is still used when providing material

Abstract

This study aims to develop a cloud-based database management system to enhance the efficiency of managing the Electrical Engineering Vocational Laboratory. The system was designed based on observations of conventional, non-digitalized methods, complemented by literature reviews and direct interviews. Performance testing using Google PageSpeed Insight showed highly optimal results, with perfect performance scores of 100 on desktop and 95 on mobile. The system architecture follows a modular design using the MVC (Model-View-Controller) approach, ensuring efficient development and maintenance website visit statistics in April 2025 reflected active system usage during academic periods, with resource efficiency during idle times. The results demonstrate that this cloud-based system provides high flexibility, speed, and scalability, making it an ideal solution for supporting vocational education digitalization in the industry 4.0 era

Abstract

Early childhood is a golden age in children's development that greatly determines the quality of their lives in the future. At this stage, children experience very rapid cognitive, social, emotional, and motor growth. One important aspect in cognitive development is numeracy skills, namely the ability to understand, interpret, and use the concept of numbers and basic mathematical operations in everyday life. Early introduction to digital numeracy can help children build a foundation for logical, analytical, and problem-solving thinking. The family environment is the first and main place for children to learn various things, including the concept of digital numeracy. The role of parents as the first educators is very important in providing stimulation and early learning through daily activities. This study is a quantitative study with a descriptive approach that reveals a phenomenon/condition by describing it in numerical form. The research sample was parents who have children aged 0-6 years in Cigoong Village, Walantaka District, Serang City, totaling 26 people. The misconception questionnaire instrument uses the Guttman measurement scale by adapting the modified Kemendikbudristek. The results of the study show that parents' perceptions of the introduction of digital numeracy to early childhood are still mixed between correct understanding and various forms of misconceptions. In general, there is a positive understanding that early childhood is ready to be introduced to digital numeracy, but many parents still understand numeracy narrowly, only as a counting skill, and are often equated with formal academic activities

Abstract

This study discusses the effect of the flipped classroom learning model supported by the Adobe Flash application on the mathematical communication skills and mathematical problem solving of students at SMK Pasundan 1 Kota Serang. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method with the Pre-Experimental type. The study was conducted in one class only (experimental class Using a one group pretest posttest design. In this study, an initial test was carried out before being given treatment (pretest) then treatment was carried out (flipped classroom learning model with the help of the Adobe Flash application), then a final test was given after being given treatment (posttest). The results showed that there was a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students in the pretest and posttest classes. Students who were given treatment with the flipped classroom learning model using Adobe Flash showed an increase in mathematical communication skills and mathematical problem solving that were better than students who were given treatment with conventional learning models. These results indicate that the Flipped Classroom Model with Adobe Flash Interactive Media can improve the mathematical communication skills and mathematical problem solving of students at SMK Pasundan 1 Kota Serang

Abstract

We used a qualitative approach with an explanatory case study method to examine students' conceptual understandings of plant growth and development before and after using the VLab Plantae application. Task-based interviews were applied to 12 ninth-grade students from class IX. Before and After interview, their conceptual understandings of four domains were examined, i.e., imbibition, germination, growth factors, and the growth process. The students were tasked to work with VLab Plantae based on interview protocols. The findings show that VLab Plantae improves students’ conceptual understandings, with the most significant gains in imbibition. Students grasped germination and growth processes through visual experiments with red beans and corn seeds. While all concepts in the four domain were identified during the use of VLab Plantae, our study suggests that teachers remain crucial in guiding students to use the VLab Plantae to comprehend the related concepts.
