Abstract

This study aims to analyze the improvement in students' learning outcomes on the topic of Salt Hydrolysis through the implementation of the Cooperative Learning model of the Jigsaw type integrated with the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. The material focus includes pH calculations of three types of salts: salts resulting from the reaction of a strong acid with a weak base, a weak acid with a strong base, and a weak acid with a weak base. This topic was selected because it requires a deep conceptual understanding and mastery of calculation skills, which are often challenging for students in chemistry learning. The CRT approach was employed to connect the learning material with students' cultural contexts and needs, making the learning process more meaningful and contextual. This study used a quantitative analysis method by measuring the N-Gain scores based on pre-test and post-test results administered to 35 students of class XI.11 at SMAN 1 Sumber. The results showed that the implementation of the Jigsaw method led to a learning improvement of 90.57 and a mastery level of 77% among the students

Abstract

This research aims to examine the contribution of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the application of adaptive learning and evaluate its influence on the development of 21st century skills in elementary school students. The approach used is a literature study using the systematic literature review (SLR) method on various relevant scientific publications. The results of the analysis show that the application of AI in adaptive learning is able to facilitate the personalization of the learning process by identifying students' learning needs, providing direct feedback, and adjusting learning materials to each individual's abilities. In addition, AI also contributes to strengthening six main competencies for the 21st century, namely critical thinking, cooperative skills, communication, creativity, digital literacy, and media literacy. AI-based learning also encourages increased motivation and student engagement in an interactive and contextual learning process. However, there are obstacles to implementation, such as lack of technological infrastructure, low digital literacy of educators, and limited curriculum policy support. Therefore, efforts are needed to strengthen infrastructure, improve teacher competence, and develop education policies that support comprehensive AI integration. These findings reinforce that AI has a strategic role in supporting the transformation of basic education in the current digital era.

Abstract

As online learning continues to be implemented post-pandemic, the use of video conferencing applications in higher education remains high. Some research shows that video conferencing, such as Zoom and Google Meet, has a positive impact on the online learning process. However, video conferences can only partially bring the natural atmosphere into the virtual classroom. As one of the video conferencing platforms, Gather Town offers new features that can create a virtual classroom atmosphere like a real class. This study aims to describe online lecture activities using Gather Town and students' perceptions of the application. The results show that Gather Town is easy to use and offers a new atmosphere in online learning. The results of student perceptions also show that Gather Town is easy to use, can inspire motivation and interest in education, is applicable, stimulates critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and is consistent with real-world contexts and student characteristics.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the discipline of MI AL-MANAR school which is a conscious form of realizing the learning process so that students can actively improve their potential to have a religious spiritual basis, control, muia morals, good personality, and skills. This research was conducted at MI AL-MANAR and used a qualitative method that uses a descriptive analysis approach, which is research that focuses on an in-depth understanding of the phenomena experienced by the research subject, including various aspects such as behavior, perception, motivation, and action. The data obtained is then described in detail through language-based qualitative analysis, as well as by conducting interviews with the vice principal and teachers concerned. The results in this study indicate that good classroom management is very influential in improving student discipline. There are several approaches applied by the school in creating an orderly and productive learning atmosphere including, among others, a managerial approach, a class management regulation approach, a behavioral approach and inhibiting factors to student discipline. All of these approaches can have a major influence on the continuity of teaching and learning activities at MI AL-MANAR.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness and implement the Zep Quiz application as a tool to improve the understanding and career planning of 10th grade students of Senior High School (SMA). Career planning in early adolescence is an important stage in directing students towards future education and job choices. The Zep Quiz application is designed to provide an interactive questionnaire that can identify students' interests and talents, as well as provide relevant career recommendations. The research method used is a quasi-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design of 30 10th grade students from one of the senior high schools in Cilegon. Data were collected through a career planning questionnaire given before (pretest) and after (posttest) the intervention using the Zep Quiz application. The results showed a significant increase in students' career planning scores after participating in the Zep Quiz intervention. The implication of this study is that the Zep Quiz application can be an effective tool in facilitating students' career planning at the senior high school level.

Abstract

In today’s digital era, educational technology—particularly AI tools like ChatGPT—offers innovative solutions to enhance mathematics education. This study explores how Gen-Z pre-service mathematics teachers accept and use ChatGPT, guided by TPB and UTAUT2 frameworks, while also examining the roles of gender and year of study in shaping their behavior. This quantitative study used a cross-sectional survey with 157 Gen-Z pre-service mathematics teachers, selected via convenience sampling. Data were gathered using a validated questionnaire based on UTAUT, showing high reliability (α = 0.97). Analysis involved descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, t-tests, and ANOVA to examine ChatGPT acceptance and use by gender and year of study. Descriptive statistics confirmed normal distribution, supporting parametric tests. Pearson coefficients revealed strong, significant correlations between behavioral intention and variables like social influence (r = 0.785) and perceived behavioral control (r = 0.777). Actual ChatGPT use was most correlated with perceived behavioral control (r = 0.784) and attitude (r = 0.738). All predictors, including performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and hedonic motivation, showed positive, significant relationships, supporting the relevance of UTAUT 2 and TPB frameworks in explaining ChatGPT adoption in educational contexts.

Abstract

Study is an activity of learning, scientific study to gain knowledge. Study can also be done by reading, investigating, the process in this context is Islamic education. The educational institution of SMA Muhammadiyah Ambon is a center for learning and development of human resources in science and technology for the community in the city of Ambon. SMA Muhammadiyah Ambon is in the form of a pesantren because it has its own characteristics compared to other public and private schools in the city of Ambon. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and library research or library research. Descriptive research is research that is intended to describe and analyze phenomena, events, social activities, facts, characteristics and relationships between phenomena that are owned about the Study of Islamic Education at SMA Muhammadiyah Ambon. In this study of Islamic education studies at SMA Muhammadiyah Ambon, structured interview techniques, passive participant observation and documentation can be used and conducting research data analysis. Muhammadiyah High School Ambon has two Islamic education learning curricula, namely from the Department of Education and Culture on Islamic education and the Muhammadiyah Elementary, Middle and Non-Formal Education Council (Dikdasmen NF) on Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah. These two educational curricula are collaborated in learning at Muhammadiyah High School Ambon. Islamic education is guidance given by someone to someone so that they develop optimally with Islamic teachings in order to form a human being with a Muslim personality based on the values of Islamic teachings based on the Qur'an and Sunnah.

Abstract

Research and Evaluation of security system changes from SSO to open systems are important to protect data. Because the increasing cyber threats make this research crucial. Infrastructure Needs to Improve network capacity for many users are a priority. Explore the impact of system changes on information protection. Understanding bottlenecks can help design better infrastructure. The results of the study can be used to improve network policies. Analyze system transitions in specific environments. and Collect user and IT staff perspectives. Use historical data to review bottleneck incidents and data leaks. Open systems reduce administrative burden but increase the risk of unauthorized access. Bottleneck Bottleneck incidents highlight the need for infrastructure upgrades. SSO security is more secure but more expensive and complex. Recommendations Routine maintenance and capacity upgrades are needed for network security and efficiency.

Abstract

Learning In Network Security, Particularly the Topic of Mikrotik Firewall, Often Poses a Challenge for Students Due To the Complexity of the Material and The Limited Availability of Engaging Learning Media. Conventional Methods Such as Textbooks Have Not Been Effective Enough in Bridging Theory and Practice. Therefore, This Study Aims to Develop an Interactive Learning Medium in The Form of An Instructional Video Based on The ADDIE Model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) To Help 11th-Grade TKJ (Computer and Network Engineering) Students at SMK Negeri 1 Tenggarong Understand the Material More Easily and Engagingly. The Video Development Process Involves Several Stages: Needs Analysis, Storyboard Design, Production Using Adobe Premiere, And Feasibility Evaluation. The Video Content Is Based on Official Teaching Modules and Is Designed to Be Accessible Via Smartphones or Computers Online Through Cloud Drive. To Enhance Visual Appeal, The Video Includes Animations and GIF Images. Feasibility Tests Were Conducted by Media Experts, Subject Matter Experts, And Through a Trial Involving 36 Students. The Results Show That the Instructional Video Falls into The Highly Feasible Category, With an Average Score Of 4.39 From Media Experts, 4.29 From Subject Matter Experts, And 4.44 From Students. Overall, The Learning Media Received an Average Score Of 4.37. The Study Recommends Further Development in Terms of Content, Video Quality, And Editing Aspects to Produce Learning Media That Is More Optimal and Easier for Students to Understand.

Abstract

The implementation of effective classroom management is the key to creating a conducive learning environment and achieving educational goals optimally. This study aims to analyze the implementation of classroom management at MTs Yapdi in improving the effectiveness of the learning process. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive qualitative approach. This study also includes a literature study by utilizing existing sources such as scientific articles and books related to this study. The results of the study indicate that classroom management at MTs Yapdi has been implemented well, including systematic planning, implementation, and evaluation. The main supporting factors are teacher commitment, adequate facilities, and cooperation between schools and parents
