Abstract

When tracing traces and history, what needs to be considered is not only physical relics, but also non-physical relics. Physical relics are all forms of relics, namely concrete, can be seen, experienced, felt, and documented, while non-physical relics are ideas, knowledge, meanings and symbols, and values ​​that are believed and embraced by defenders of a particular culture. Therefore, these things must be the orientation in everyday life. In the context of history, Mohammad Natsir shows physical relics, and also stores a wealth of non-physical relics. It is important to see both aspects at once. How Mohammad Natsir Contributed to the Old Period Government (1945-1965) Of course, this requires a comprehensive investigation. The method used by the author in this article is the historical research method. The historical method used in this article consists of four stages, namely heuristics, verification, interpretation and writing. A comprehensive search for Mohammad Natsir's Contribution not only measures and describes his role in the development of Islam in Indonesia, but also provides his movement and contribution during the Old Order Era (1945-1965). Keywords: Contribution, Old Order Era, Mohammad Natsir, Development of Islam   ABSTRAK Ketika menelusuri jejak dan sejarah, yang perlu diperhatikan bukan hanya peninggalan fisik, tetapi juga peninggalan nonfisik. Peninggalan fisik yaitu segala bentuk peninggalan, yaitu konkret, dapat dilihat, dialami, dirasakan, dan didokumentasikan, sedangkan peninggalan nonfisik adalah gagasan, pengetahuan, makna dan simbol, serta nilai-nilai yang diyakini dan dianut oleh para pembela budaya tertentu. Oleh karena itu, hal-hal tersebut harus menjadi orientasi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dalam konteks sejarah, Mohammad Natsir memperlihatkan peninggalan fisik, dan juga menyimpan kekayaan peninggalan nonfisik. Penting untuk melihat kedua aspek tersebut sekaligus. Bagaimana Kontribusi Mohammad Natsir pada Pemerintagan Periode Lama (1945-1965) Tentu saja, hal itu memerlukan penelusuran yang komprehensif. Metode  yang  digunakan  oleh  penulis  dalam  artikel  ini  adalah  metode  penelitian sejarah.  Metode  sejarah  yang  diguakan  dalam  artikel  ini  terdiri  dari  empat  tahapan yaitu  heuristik,  verifikasi,  interpretasi  dan  penulisan.H Penelusuran yang komprehensif terhadap Kontribusi Mohammad Natsir tidak hanya mengukur dan melukiskan dari perannya terhadap perkembangan Islam di Indonesia, tetapi juga memberi pergerakan dan kontribusinya pada Masa Orde Lama (1945-1965).

Abstract

Administration of official travel records at the Faculty of Social Sciences (FIS) UIN Medan at this time. This can still be done physically and the coordinates are not yet valid, meaning that it is still set aside in several separate notes, such as making official travel orders (SPPD), fine elements of official travel costs, and compiling official travel minutes and recorded using Microsoft Office Word and Exceed Expectations applications, so changes must be made every time an official trip is made. This investigation resulted in an official travel data framework plan that can simplify the administration of official travel records so that official travel information and reports can be stored properly and accurately. With this official travel information framework, it is believed that this can minimize the shortcomings of the past framework. Management that is not yet standardized means that important information such as travel location coordinates and cost details are often ignored. This deficiency makes it difficult to track and analyze official travel data for reporting and evaluation purposes. A system that is not integrated also makes it difficult for faculties to ensure the accuracy and validity of official travel information that has been carried out. As a solution, research was conducted to design a more systematic and structured official travel data framework. This framework aims to simplify the administrative process by integrating various official travel information in one interconnected system. Information such as travel itineraries, cost details and trip results can be recorded, accessed and reported more efficiently.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of creative learning in the subject of Science and Social Studies (IPAS) at SD Negeri 104203 Bandar Khalifah. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques including questionnaires for students, interviews with teachers, and observation of student interactions in the classroom. The results show that 80% of students feel more interested and motivated in learning when creative methods such as games, group discussions, and the use of visual aids are applied. Teachers also stated that the implementation of creative learning enhances students' understanding of the material, although challenges related to limited teaching resources and preparation time were encountered. Creative learning has been shown to increase student engagement and understanding, as well as facilitate more meaningful learning. Therefore, it is recommended that schools provide more support in terms of facilities and training for teachers to optimize the implementation of creative learning methods in the classroom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pusat pendidikan Baitul Hikmah yang didirikan pada abad ke-9 di Baghdad, yang menjadi salah satu pusat pendidikan dan pengetahuan terbesar dalam sejarah peradaban Islam, dan pengaruhnya terhadap Renaisans di Eropa. Pengetahuan yang disebarkan dari Baitul Hikmah menjadi dasar penting bagi Revolusi Sains dan Renaisans Eropa, khususnya di bidang matematika, astronomi, dan kedokteran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research), di mana data dikumpulkan dengan cara memahami dan mempelajari teori-teori dari berbagai literatur yang berkaitan dengan pusat pendidikan Baitul Hikmah dan pengaruhnya terhadap Renaisans Eropa. Dengan demikian, Baitul Hikmah tidak hanya memainkan peran penting dalam kemajuan pengetahuan di dunia Islam, tetapi juga menjadi katalisator utama bagi kebangkitan intelektual di Eropa. Warisan Baitul Hikmah mencerminkan pentingnya pertukaran lintas budaya dalam pengembangan pengetahuan global.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas peran Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) dalam perkembangan Islam di Jawa Timur pada periode 1926-1942, masa yang ditandai dengan kolonialisme Belanda dan dinamika sosial-keagamaan di Nusantara. Menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah, penelitian ini meliputi tahapan heuristik, verifikasi, interpretasi, dan historiografi untuk menggali sumber-sumber primer seperti arsip, surat kabar, dan dokumen-dokumen organisasi NU, serta sumber sekunder berupa buku dan artikel akademik terkait. Fokus utama penelitian adalah menelusuri kontribusi NU dalam mempertahankan tradisi Islam Ahlussunnah wal Jama'ah di tengah arus modernisasi dan gerakan reformasi Islam yang berkembang di Nusantara.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa NU berperan signifikan dalam memperkuat jaringan pesantren sebagai pusat pendidikan Islam tradisional, serta mengembangkan struktur organisasi yang solid guna melawan kebijakan kolonial yang merugikan umat Islam. NU juga aktif dalam bidang sosial-politik dengan membela hak-hak umat Islam melalui diplomasi dengan pemerintah kolonial. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peran NU pada periode ini tidak hanya terbatas pada aspek keagamaan, tetapi juga mencakup penguatan identitas Islam tradisional di Jawa Timur dan memperjuangkan kepentingan umat dalam konteks kolonialisme.

Abstract

The learning process often encounters obstacles that prevent the achievement of learning objectives. The same thing also applies to learning Arabic; there are many obstacles that can result in poor or fruitless learning. This can be caused by external or internal factors, and the possibilities are many. The aim of this research is to characterize the events currently occurring. This research uses a qualitative phenomenological method using interview guides, questionnaires and observation sheets with informants including the principal, teachers and class VII students at MTs Al-Mukarram who continue to experience difficulties learning Arabic. Students' inability to read the Koran and their inability to distinguish letters that are almost similar is a sign that they are still having difficulty learning the language and lack motivation. In learning Arabic, there is no such thing as a basic understanding. The importance of learning Arabic does not receive enough attention, and as learning progresses, boredom begins to appear. However, because most of the students, especially class VII MTs Al-Mukarram, are still beginners in the language, continued the Arabic language professor. to try to help students even though they still have difficulty mastering the language.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the teaching module for Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) at SD Negeri 060877 Medan Perjuangan and to measure its effectiveness in the teaching and learning process. This is important because the curriculum must continuously be updated in accordance with advancements in science and technology, as well as the students' need for higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) in current education. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, information was obtained through observations, interviews with teachers, and analysis of the teaching module documents. The results indicate that the IPAS teaching module incorporates elements of Bloom's Taxonomy, with some aspects reflecting lower-order thinking skills (LOTS) and higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). Although the module includes HOTS elements, there is still a need to add more challenging activities to foster creativity and innovation among students. This research recommends the development of teaching modules to enhance the quality of learning in the fourth grade.

Abstract

Since the end of the Ar-Rashidin Caliphate, the Muslim world has known at least three Caliphates namely the Umayyads, Abbasids and Ottomans. However, there was an empty period of the Caliphate since the collapse of the Abbasids in 1258 AD. The power in the Muslim world which was later re-recognized as the Caliphate was Ottoman. The Ottoman ascension to the position of the Caliphate took place in 1517 AD. The Ottoman Caliphate itself ended in 1924 AD. Since the end of the Ottomans, the institution of the Caliphate in the Muslim World has been empty until now. When the idea of the Caliphate re-echoed, the discussion of the history of the Caliphate became important again. The following article aims to describe the trajectory of the history of the Caliphate after the end of the Ar Rashidin Caliphate. This study uses historical methods. The results of this study are expected to provide useful historical information in an effort to better understand the reality of Muslim life, especially from its historical aspects, especially in the topic of the Caliphate.Keywords: Umayyad, Abbasid, Ottoman, caliphate, Muslim history

Abstract

The study of the transformation of Islamic thought in Indonesia is very important to see the connection between the Middle East and Indonesia. The discourse of Islamic renewal developed along with the complexity of the conditions in the Middle East, as well as the strengthening of the practice of purifying Islam and western modernism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. KH. Abdurrahman Wahid is one of the many figures who contributed his thoughts in transforming Islam into Indonesian cultural values. Related to this, this study tries to look at the Islamic thoughts of KH. Abdurrahman Wahud in the late 20th century. In a work, namely Cosmopolitan Islam (Indonesian Values ​​and Cultural Transformation), he presents Islam as a religion that gives freedom to everyone to work without being limited by anything, such as political and ethnic identity. In this study, the author uses a historical research method consisting of four stages, namely Heuristics, Criticism, Interpretation, Historiography. Thus, this study will focus on the thoughts of KH. Abdurrahman Wahid in the renewal of Indonesian Islam. The results of this study indicate that the thoughts of KH. Abdurrahman Wahid has a close relationship with Islam from three dimensions. The first is in terms of Islamic Theology, Second is Islamic Mysticism and the last is Islamic philosophy. With these three parts, KH. Abdurrahman Wahid believes that Islam will reach its highest point of progress when all expressions and works of individual and group creations are given the same right to life, no matter how deviant or considered heretical. After studying the thoughts of KH. Abdurrahman Wahid, it appears that when choosing Islam as a basis, whatever path is chosen, as long as the foundation of Islam has been firmly embedded, then it will not be a problem. In other words, KH. Abdurrahman Wahid teaches us as Muslims to have an open mind, as well as broad insight.

Abstract

The peasant rebellion in Banten occurred in 1888 criticized by Sayyid Utsman bin Yahya through his work entitled Manhaj al-Istiqa ̅mah fi ̅ ad-Di ̅n bi as-Sala ̅mah. This peasant rebellion was a social movement launched by religious leaders. The leaders echoed the ideology of jihad, a holy war movement to attack the power of the Dutch colonial government which was considered an infidel power, but according to Sayyid Utsman, this rebellion was not a jihad movement but a mistaken religious movement. This study aims to determine the views of Sayyid Utsman in his work entitled Manhaj al-Istiqa ̅mah fi ̅ ad-Di ̅n bi as-Sala ̅mah regarding the peasant rebellion in Banten in 1888 AD. The method used is the historical method, namely; heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography using the study of the theory of jihad 'Abd al-Samad al-Falimbani through his work entitled Nasihat al-Muslimin wa Tadzkirat al-Mu'minin fii Fada'il al-Jihad fi Sabil Allah wa Karamat al-Mujahidin fii Sabil Allah. This method was chosen to trace the life of Sayyid Utsman and the Banten peasant rebellion from a historical perspective. In this study the author found several results that had been traced, namely; regarding the manuscript of Sayyid Utsman Manhaj al-Istiqa ̅mah fi ̅ ad-Di ̅n bi as-Sala ̅mah which condemned the rebellion in Cilegon Banten as a wrong movement, and discussed a lot about heresy that was still carried out by the Nusantara community and followers of the tarekat. Sayyid Utsman was a scholar of fiqh, his works which were considered pro-Dutch became polemic. In addition, Sayyid Utsman's closeness to the Dutch made Sayyid Utsman receive many awards.
