Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of motivation and workload on employee job satisfaction at the Public Works Office (Dinas Pekerjaan Umum) of Bima City, both partially and simultaneously. This research employed an associative research design with a quantitative approach. The population consisted of 126 employees, while the sample comprised 60 civil servants selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and literature review. The data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination, t-test, and F-test with the assistance of SPSS software. The results of the study indicate that motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, with a t-value of 3.306 and a significance value of 0.002 (<0.05). Workload has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction, with a t-value of -2.213 and a significance value of 0.031 (<0.05). Simultaneously, motivation and workload have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction, as indicated by an F-value of 18.181 and a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.589, indicating that 58.9% of the variation in employee job satisfaction is explained by motivation and workload, while the remaining 41.1% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that higher motivation contributes to increased employee job satisfaction, whereas excessive or inappropriate workload tends to reduce job satisfaction. Therefore, the Public Works Office of Bima City is expected to enhance employee motivation and manage workload proportionally to improve employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

Electronic word of mouth and consumer perception are important factors influencing consumer purchasing decisions, which determine product sales success and business sustainability. Based on preliminary observations, HOS of Shopaholic in Malang experienced sales fluctuations and has not fully optimized its electronic word of mouth activities, yet the influence of these factors on purchasing decisions remains unclear. This study aims to analyze the effect of electronic word of mouth and consumer perception on purchasing decisions at HOS of Shopaholic Malang. Using a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents selected by purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing through partial (t-test) and simultaneous (F-test). The results showed that electronic word of mouth partially has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, consumer perception partially has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, and both variables simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.433 indicates that both variables contribute 43.3% to purchasing decisions, while the remaining 56.7% is influenced by other variables. These findings confirm the importance of maintaining positive consumer perceptions and optimizing electronic word-of-mouth strategies to enhance consumer purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the financial health ratios of Koppontren Al Mubarok, Lekok District, Pasuruan Regency. The research employed a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Secondary data were utilized as the primary data source, collected through documentation techniques by examining the financial statement records of Koppontren Al Mubarok Lekok. The analytical method applied consisted of financial performance health ratio analysis, encompassing liquidity ratios, solvability ratios, efficiency ratios, and profitability ratios. The findings indicate that the overall financial health ratios of Koppontren Al Mubarok Lekok fall within the poor category. This is evidenced by the liquidity ratios — comprising the Current Ratio and Cash Ratio — and the solvability ratios — comprising the Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER) and Debt-to-Asset Ratio (DAR) — which, based on the five-year average from 2018 to 2022, consistently remained within the poor or unhealthy category. In contrast, the efficiency ratio (BOPO/Operating Expense-to-Operating Income Ratio) and the profitability ratios — comprising the Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Assets (ROA), and Return on Equity (ROE) — were classified within the excellent category, as measured against the standards stipulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises No. 06/Per/M.KUKM/V/2006.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of perceived personalization, Default Policy, and nudges framing on Purchase intention among users of the Alfagift e-grocery application, with perceived usefulness as a mediating variable. The research is motivated by the rapid growth of e-grocery in Indonesia, which is accompanied by high food loss and opportunistic, promotion-sensitive consumer behavior, thereby requiring digital nudging interventions at the interface level to encourage more responsible consumption patterns. A quantitative survey approach is employed using purposive sampling targeting Millennial and Generation Z users of Alfagift in DKI Jakarta who have made at least one purchase in the last three months, with constructs measured using a Likert scale and data analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS. The findings are expected to show that perceived personalization, Default Policy, and nudges framing have positive effects on Purchase intention, both directly and indirectly through perceived usefulness, thereby strengthening the integration of Nudge Theory and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in the e-grocery context and offering practical implications for designing digital nudging strategies to reduce food loss.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Based Innovation, Digital Capabilities, and Focus Strategies on Sustainable Economic Growth at Join Us Caffe, an SME in Bandung, Indonesia, both partially and simultaneously. This study employs a quantitative approach using an associative-causal method. The study population consisted of 37 respondents, all of whom were included in the sample using total sampling. Data were collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale and analyzed using path analysis with the aid of IBM SPSS software. The results show that, when analyzed partially, Digital Capabilities have a positive and significant effect on Sustainable Economic Growth, while AI-Based Innovation and Focus Strategy do not have a significant effect. Simultaneously, AI-Based Innovation, Digital Capabilities, and Focused Strategy have a positive and significant effect on Sustainable Economic Growth. The test results show an Adjusted R-Square value of 0.510, meaning that the three independent variables account for 51.0% of the variation in Sustainable Economic Growth, while the remaining 49.0% is influenced by other factors outside the research model. These findings indicate that Digital Capabilities play the most significant role in supporting sustainable economic growth at Join Us Caffe, an SME, while the implementation of AI-Based Innovation and Focused Strategy requires support from other factors to contribute more effectively to business sustainability

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of AI Adoption (X1), Digital Literacy (X2), and Strategic Orientation (X3) on Competitive Advantage (Y) in the RaTuna21 culinary MSME in Bandung City. Using a quantitative approach through a survey of 35 consumer respondents, analyzed with SPSS-assisted regression. The results indicate that partially, all three variables have a positive and significant effect on competitive advantage, with AI Adoption as the most dominant factor (Beta = 0.713). However, when tested simultaneously, only AI Adoption remains significant (Beta = 0.494), while Digital Literacy and Strategic Orientation lose their influence due to overlap between variables. The simultaneous model is able to explain 54.7% of the variation in Competitive Advantage, thus confirming that AI adoption is the most dominant strategic resource in shaping the competitive advantage of culinary MSMEs in the digital era according to the Resource-Based View perspective.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of online customer reviews, customer perceived value, and service quality on trust and purchase decisions among Lemon8 app users searching for information on The Originote skincare products in Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative method with primary data collected through an online questionnaire from 225 Lemon8 user respondents in Jakarta, selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) AMOS with the Maximum Likelihood Estimation approach. The results show that online customer reviews have no significant effect on trust or purchase decisions. Customer perceived value has a significant effect on trust, but does not have a direct effect on purchase decisions, so its influence works indirectly through trust as a mediator. Service quality is also not proven to have a significant effect on trust or purchase decisions. Conversely, trust has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions, making it the most dominant factor in driving purchase decisions. These findings indicate that on social media-based review platforms like Lemon8, consumer trust is built more through customer perceived value than solely from reviews or the platform's service quality, and this trust is the main key that drives skincare product purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Hair-cutting service MSMEs are one of the businesses growing rapidly in urban areas, yet most micro-scale business owners have not optimally utilised social media as a means of marketing and customer service. This condition results in low business visibility, a limited market reach, and a less optimal effort to build brand image amid increasingly tight competition. This community service activity aims to improve the competitiveness of hair-cutting service MSMEs through a seminar and Instagram social media management training for 15 hair-cutting MSMEs in Depok City. The method used was a seminar session held on Saturday, 18 July 2026, followed by direct one-on-one training and mentoring conducted offline at Jakarta Global University (JGU), covering the creation and optimisation of Instagram Business accounts, training in photo and video content creation using the CapCut application, and strengthening digital customer service through Direct Message and WhatsApp Business. The results showed an increase in partners' understanding and skills in managing their business Instagram accounts, the availability of ready-to-upload promotional content, and improved readiness among partners to respond to customer interactions digitally. Through this activity, hair-cutting MSMEs are expected to gain an initial foundation for independently strengthening their business branding and becoming better prepared to compete in the digital era.

Abstract

The dynamic organizational environment requires companies to understand the factors influencing employees' work behavior, including personality traits associated with The Dark Triad, namely Machiavellianism, narcissism, and psychopathy. This study aims to analyze the influence of Dark Triad characteristics on the work behavior of Generation Z employees in modern organizational settings. The study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using a descriptive approach through the identification, selection, and synthesis of relevant scientific literature. The findings indicate that Dark Triad characteristics are associated with higher levels of Counterproductive Work Behavior (CWB), poorer interpersonal relationships, workplace ostracism, and unethical behavior in the workplace. Among the three dimensions, Machiavellianism is identified as the most dominant predictor of counterproductive work behavior due to individuals' tendency toward manipulation and self-interest. In addition, Early Maladaptive Schemas contribute to explaining these behavioral tendencies. These findings highlight the importance of considering personality traits in human resource management practices to foster a productive, collaborative, and ethical work environment for Generation Z employees.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy and financial inclusion on the saving behavior of students at Teuku Umar University. This study employed a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The population consisted of 5,520 active students at Teuku Umar University, with a sample of 382 respondents selected using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with SmartPLS version 4.1.1.4. The results indicate that financial literacy has no significant effect on students' saving behavior (t-statistics = 1.545; p-value = 0.123), whereas financial inclusion has a positive and significant effect on students' saving behavior (t-statistics = 10.102; p-value = 0.000). The Adjusted R Square value of 0.211 indicates that financial literacy and financial inclusion jointly explain 21.1% of the variance in students' saving behavior, while the remaining 78.9% is explained by other variables outside the research model. This study concludes that financial inclusion is a more dominant factor influencing students' saving behavior than financial literacy.
