Abstract

Amid globalization and modernization, Muhammadiyah gradually needs to improve the strategy of understanding ideology and doctrine. This study aims to identify the strategies or steps Muhammadiyah took to enhance the understanding of ideology among its members or cadres, one of which is at the Ahmad Dahlan Institute campus in Probolinggo. This study is a qualitative case study and the method used is direct observation by the researcher to review the strategy for strengthening Muhammadiyah's ideology and doctrine. The results of the study indicate that the strategy implemented by Muhammadiyah to overcome this decline in understanding of ideology includes: First, regulating the recruitment pattern of academic staff members at the Ahmad Dahlan Institute Probolinggo campus (lecturers, staff, employees) with the approval of the Muhammadiyah leadership and the Daily Advisory Board who are fully committed to strengthening Muhammadiyah's identity. Second, through a cadre formation process integrating Islamic and Muhammadiyah courses for students, study activities for lecturers and staff, student discussions, routine activities such as Sunday morning studies, visits to lecturers and staff, and cultural da'wah activities in Probolinggo. This study needs to sufficiently explore the long-term impact of these strategies on Muhammadiyah's understanding of ideology. The originality of this study lies in its in-depth exploration of specific recruitment and cadre formation strategies in the Muhammadiyah academic environment, which provides unique insights into how Muhammadiyah identity is maintained and strengthened in the context of higher education.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the Strategy of the Religious Harmony Forum to Realize a Peaceful and Harmonious Life, specifically focusing on the role of the Religious Harmony Forum in building harmony, supporting, and inhibiting factors in building religious harmony. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design and uses observation, interviews, and documentation as primary data collection methods through direct observation and interviews with key stakeholders. Data analysis includes three steps: data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The Jember Religious Harmony Forum (FKUB) prioritizes a collaborative strategy to build a peaceful and harmonious life amid diversity. Through regular silaturrahmi between religious leaders, FKUB strengthens tolerance and opens space for dialogue that encourages mutual understanding and early conflict prevention. In addition, FKUB is active in interfaith humanitarian programs that strengthen solidarity and demonstrate that cooperation in social action can reduce differences. FKUB relies on mediation and deliberation as effective resolution mechanisms when friction arises, maintaining social stability without exacerbating differences. By utilizing local culture such as Pandalungan, which is closely related to the values of inclusiveness, FKUB can instil awareness of the importance of harmonious coexistence despite facing challenges such as identity politics and limited resources.

Abstract

This study aims to illustrate that being a nurse in a psychiatric hospital requires patience and a high level of tawakal. With patience and tawakal, nurses can perform their responsibilities optimally. This research employs a qualitative case study approach. Data collection techniques include observation (directly reviewing the research location) and interviews (conducting direct question-and-answer sessions with nurses in the rehabilitation section), supported by accurate evidence in the form of documentation. The results of this study indicate that nurses at the Special UPTD of Prof. Dr Muhammad Ildrem Psychiatric Hospital, North Sumatra Province, successfully embody the concepts of patience and tawakal when dealing with patients. Moreover, patience and tawakal are exhibited in interactions with patients, colleagues, and patient's families. Additionally, these nurses provide exemplary health services that align with religious teachings. The implications of these practices are far-reaching, improving patient care, enhancing nurse-patient interactions, fostering teamwork, and supporting nurses' psychological resilience. Integrating Sufism principles into nursing practice offers a unique and practical approach to managing the complexities of psychiatric care, ultimately contributing to better health outcomes and a more supportive work environment for nurses.

Abstract

The qur'an is the word of Allah that has a mutually supportive relationship to convey divine messages with a complex arrangement and structure and is full of wisdom. The approach used by Salwa M.S. el-Awwa provides a new perspective on understanding munasabah by emphasizing the importance of in-depth textual analysis to find patterns and relationships between verses. This article describes El-Awwa's thoughts on understanding the meaning between verses through a rational textual approach. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method to analyze and understand the concept of munasabah in the qur'an, especially in surah al-qiyamah, using a textual relational approach developed by Salwa M.S. El-Awwa. Data collection techniques use two main methods. First, a literature review includes collecting and reviewing books, articles, and scientific works related to munasabah, a textual relational approach, and surah al-qiyamah, including the works of Salwa M.S. El-Awwa and other academic references. Second, a review of tafsir works, namely reviewing classical and contemporary tafsir. The results of this study refer to the al-qiyamah verse, which can be concluded that pragmatically, this verse explains how serious the consequences are for people who close themselves off from the Prophet's call

Abstract

Many challenges in managing Islamic educational institutions are due to planning concepts not based on the Qur'an and hadith. Therefore, this study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the concept of Islamic education planning, especially on the criteria and principles underlying the planning and identify important indicators of sustainable education planning. This research is a qualitative study with a library research approach consisting of topic selection and problem formulation, data collection, data evaluation and selection, data analysis, discussion, and conclusion drawing. The results found that planning in Islamic education must fulfil the criteria of being regular, thorough, procedural, according to science, and careful (QS. As Shaff: 4, Al Hasyr: 18, Al Fathir: 11, Al Hadid: 22, Al Anfal: 60). Furthermore, the principles of planning should be efficient, effective, flexible, selective, open, co-operative and participatory, interdisciplinary, for mutual progress, human resource development, and objective, rational and systematic. This research makes an important contribution to the management of Islamic education by emphasising the importance of planning based on the Qur'an and hadith. Implementing these criteria and principles will enable educational institutions to improve management quality, strengthen competitiveness and be more responsive to global challenges. Implementing planning criteria and principles based on the Qur'an and hadith can enhance the quality of Islamic education management, strengthen institutional competitiveness, and address global challenges sustainably.
