Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan focuses on the following topics: Curriculum development, teacher education and professional development, teacher training, cross-cultural studies, learning, evaluation, English language teaching, counseling, management, quality of education, and the use of communication and information technology, at various levels of education and how to deliver learning. It provides an academic platform for teachers, lecturers, and researchers to contribute innovative work in the field. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is first published in March 2017 and covers much research in all levels of education (primary, secondary, and higher education). Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan become a CrossRef Member since the year 2019. Therefore, all articles published will have a unique DOI number. Beginning from Vol. 1 No. 1 (2017), all articles will be published in the English version and Indonesia version. The publication frequency is twice a year in March and October. This journal has been accredited in Grade 4 (Sinta 4) based on the Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology No. 158/E/KPT/2021, December 27, 2021.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss qualitative research methods literature study. The method used is literature study, data collection by searching for sources and constructing from various sources such as books, journals, and existing research. As a result, qualitative research was carried out with a research design whose findings were not obtained through procedures or in the form of calculations, but revealed a holistic-contextual phenomenon by collecting data from researchers in natural settings/settings and using it as a key instrument. Qualitative research has a descriptive nature and tends to use an inductive approach to analysis, so that the process and meaning based on the subject's perspective are highlighted in this qualitative research. This qualitative research design can be used as a method in research, because it is a comprehensive design that is easily accessible by academic circles and researchers.

Abstract

Evaluation of educational programs is an activity that must be carried out in every educational institution, this is done so that every educational institution can improve and develop a predetermined planning process, especially in educational programs. In this study, we will discuss the evaluation of educational programs carried out at SMP IT Nurul Ilmi. The research methodology carried out in this study used descriptive qualitative research methods, namely describing the results of research findings in the form of observations and interviews. The results of the research process said that the evaluation of the education program carried out at SMP IT Nurul Ilmi went well because before carrying out the evaluation process for the education program at SMP IT Nurul Ilmi carried out a planning process with the principal and teachers so that in the process of implementing the evaluation of the education program running well. So in conclusion, the evaluation of educational programs conducted at SMP IT Nurul Ilmi runs according to predetermined procedures by carrying out the planning process and predetermined regulations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh upaya pemerintah dalam menghentikan penyebaran virus covid-19 yang menyerang dunia, memberikan dampak keseluruh sektor kehidupan termasuk kedalam pendidikan yang mana mengharuskan tenaga kependidikan mengubah metode pembelajaran tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran daring (online), oleh karena itu penelitian ini merumuskan masalahnya dan bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1. Prestasi belajar santriwati kelas delapan yang belajar di rumah. 2. Prestasi belajar santriwati kelas delapan yang belajar di asrama. 3. Perbedaan prestasi belajar antara santriwati kelas delapan yang belajar di rumah dengan santriwati kelas delapan yang belajar di asrama. Penelitian dilakukan di MTs.Ma’ahid Kudus dari 1-31 Desember 2021, metode penelitian yang digunakan kuantitatif komparasi, dan teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi, dan dokumentasi, adapun populasinya adalah seluruh santriwati kelas delapan yang berjumlah 58, dan sampel yang diambil berjumlah 52. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan uji t. Setelah analisis data yang dilakukan, dari penelitian ini dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa: 1. Secara umum rata-rata prestasi belajar santriwati yang belajar di rumah pada santriwati kelas delapan pondok pesantren MTs. Ma’ahid Kudus dalam kategori cukup. 2. Secara umum rata-rata prestasi belajar santriwati yang belajar di asrama pada santriwati kelas delapan pondok pesantren MTs. Ma’ahid Kudus dalam kategori cukup. 3. Tidak ada perbedaan prestasi belajar antara santriwati yang belajar di rumah dengan santriwati yang belajar di asrama. Tapi jika dilihat dari rata-rata hasil belajar santriwati yang belajar di rumah yang berjumlah 81,83 dengan santriwati yang belajar di asrama yang berjumlah 82,41 terdapat selisih yang tidak begitu signifikan tapi masih bisa dikatakan bahwa santriwati yang belajar di asrama lebih unggul satu angka dari santriwati yang belajar di rumah.

Abstract

Supervision is a process that is often carried out in every educational institution. In this case, a research process was carried out at MTsN Binjai with the aim of seeing how the process of implementing supervision carried out by the head of MTSN Binjai on teachers. The methodology used in this study was descriptive qualitative research by conducting a process of observation and interviews at MTsN Binjai. . The results of the research process said that the supervision implementation process carried out by the head of MTSN Binjai was carried out well in accordance with established procedures. In addition, the head of MTSN Binjai also has a firmness in carrying out an implementation of supervision of teachers so that teachers can improve their abilities and performance in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Abstrak Pendidikan karakter mutlak diperlukan, karena pendidikan pada hakekatnya tidak dapat dipisahkan dari karakter. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi ketercapaian program pendidikan karakter di SDIT Nurul Madani Bandar Setia. Jenis penelitian adalah evaluasi program (evaluasi formatif) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan penelitian kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proyek pendidikan karakter termasuk dalam kategori baik. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis data Milles & Huberman meliputi: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) kesiapan sekolah SDIT Nurul Madani untuk mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter baik, dinilai dari kurikulum yang telah terintegrasi pendidikan karakter, namun masih kurang dalam hal pengelolaan sarana prasarana pendukung dan banyak guru memerlukan lebih banyak pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang pendidikan karakter; (2) implementasi pendidikan karakter belum tampak pada kegiatan pembelajaran; (3) dukungan dari pemerintah dalam sosialisasi atau pelatihan dirasa masih kurang oleh sekolah; (4) monitoring dan evaluasi pendidikan karakter masih terbatas pada kurikulum dan dilakukan melalui pembinaan pengawas di setiap sekolah; dan (5) kendala yang umum dihadapi sekolah adalah penilaian sikap siswa yang belum terdokumentasi, kurangnya pemahaman guru untuk mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter, dan tidak adanya sinergi antara pendidikan di sekolah dengan pendidikan di rumah.

Abstract

The youth association of the mosque is a forum or place for organizations to study Islam, cultivate religious morals, through habits such as recitation, da'wah and reading the Koran as an effort to guide religious understanding for generations of the nation who are often referred to as teenagers. Therefore, the group is often called the mosque youth association. One of them is in the Nurul Hikmah mosque in Purwadana village. The purpose of doing this research is none other than to find out how influential the current chairman's leadership is in terms of improving the performance of its members. The research method that the author uses is a qualitative research in which the author conducts direct observations and interviews with the resource person, namely the chairman of IRMANUH at his residence. The results obtained indicate that it is true that during this pandemic the spirit and performance of each member decreased due to restrictions on direct and crowding activities and were not accustomed to online activities, so it could be interpreted that the management experienced a lack of understanding of online activities. The role of a leader in an organization is so great in improving the performance of its members, because after all now is a difficult time for any organization because the covid pandemic always mutates into several variants that contain activities directly and involve many calls to be limited by the government.

Abstract

This covid-19 pandemic has spread to various countries including Indonesia which has a very large influence, not only on the economic, transportation and tourism sectors, but in the education sector as well. Distance learning is considered an educational innovation as well as a solution to answer the challenges of learning in the future. In a pandemic, this research aims at the effectiveness of Civics learning in elementary schools during the Covid-19 pandemic. Effectiveness is a key element to achieve the goals or targets that have been determined in every organization, activity or program. Citizenship Education (citizenship) is a subject that focuses on the formation of citizens who understand and are able to carry out their rights and obligations to become intelligent, skilled, and characterized Indonesian citizens mandated by Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. Young people and students are the next generation of the nation, so in addition to studying the basic material of civic education, we as the next generation of the nation should study the history of the struggle of the Indonesian nation.

Abstract

The current Covid-19 pandemic has spread in Indonesia and has become the most frightening disease for the wider community. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the education sector in Indonesia used an online learning system and all work was carried out by means of Work From Home (WFH). A term that is now being suggested by the government as a social distancing tactic, even religious activities are closed because crowded places are vulnerable. and easy for the spread of the covid-19 virus Education. This study aims to determine the use of online media in learning Islamic religious education at Islamic Middle School Karawang. The approach used is qualitative research by using data collection techniques in the form of observation and interviews. The results in this study indicate that, in learning Islamic Religious Education at SMP Islam Karawang using online media, namely using Zoom Cloud Meeting, Youtube and WhatsApp. The combination of these three online media is used for the root learning process in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. Regarding this online media integration, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers feel they can make learning more effective because each online media used has different uses.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana upaya optimalisasi pembelajaran bahasa arab pada lembaga bimbingan bahasa bagi penutur asing (Pusiba) dalam rangka menunjang persiapan calon mahasiswa baru Universitas Al-Azhar Mesir. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan latar kegiatan berupa program bimbingan matrikulasi bahasa arab di lembaga Pusiba. Adapun hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah: (1) Pusiba merupakan sebuah lembaga bimbingan bahasa arab bagi penutur asing cabang Indonesia yang diprakarsai langsung oleh Syaikh Ahmad Al-Tayeb sebagai Syaikh Al-Azhar sekarang. (2) Pembelajaran bahasa arab di lembaga Pusiba berisi empat keterampilan dasar yaitu: keterampilan mendengar (Maharat al-Istima’), keterampilan berbicara (Maharat al-Kalam), keterampilan membaca (Maharat al-Qira’at), dan keterampilan menulis (Maharat al-Kitabah) . (3) proses pembelajaran bahasa arab terbagi menjadi 7 (tujuh) level tingkatan seperti: mubtadi awwal, mubtadi’ tsani, mutawassith awwal, mutawassith tsani’, mutaqaddim awwal, mutaqaddim tsani, mutammayiz, (4) pembelajaran menggunakan variasi metode dan media pembelajaran seperti: diskusi, tanyajawab, kuis, youtube, whatsapp, zoom, dan google meet.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the existence of problems in class XI blind children at SMK N 7 Padang, who experienced problems in recognizing braille arabic hijaiyah letters where children did not know and had never studied or were taught about braille arabic hijaiyah letters. Based on the problem above, this study aims to prove that media braille arabic reading can be used to introduce braille arabic hijaiyah letters to blind children. The design used in this study is the A-B-A design with the single subject research (SSR) method and the target behavior is remembering and writing the braille hijaiyah letters from Alif (١) – Ya (ﻱ). The results of this study indicate that media arabic braille reading board can be used to introduce braille arabic hijaiyah letters to blind children. In the analysis in conditions with the number of variables analyzed with the results of the analysis of the tendency of stability in condition (A1) 0%, (B) +11,11% and (A2) +100%. In the analysis between conditions in the from of Percentage of overlape in the baseline condition (A1) with the intervention condition at 0% and in the baseline condition after the intervention (A2) with the intervention condition at 44,44%. The number 100% proves that the hypothesis is accepted and media arabic braille reading board can be used in introducing the arabic braille hijaiyah letters.
