Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe: 1) Learning planning from Teacher Strategies in managing educational facilities and infrastructure to improve the learning concentration of fifth-grade students at Public Elementary School 50 Suka Damai, Tebas District, in the 2023-2024 academic year. 2) Implementation of learning planning from Teacher Strategies in managing educational facilities and infrastructure to improve the learning concentration of fifth-grade students at Public Elementary School 50 Suka Damai, Tebas District, in the 2023-2024 academic year. 3) Obstacles and solutions to learning planning from Teacher Strategies in managing educational facilities and infrastructure to improve the learning concentration of fifth-grade students at Public Elementary School 50 Suka Damai, Tebas District, in the 2023-2024 academic year. This study uses a qualitative approach and a qualitative descriptive research type. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. (1) The Facilities and Infrastructure Arrangement Plan at Public Elementary School 50 Suka Damai already has the necessary learning tools, but the number still needs to be increased.  (2) The Teaching Management Plan of Suka Damai 50 Public Elementary School, the school has a strong commitment to ensuring the quality of teaching through careful planning and continuous evaluation. (3) Obstacles and Solutions used by Teachers in Managing Educational Facilities and Infrastructure in Improving the Learning Concentration of Fifth Grade Students at Suka Damai 50 Public Elementary School, namely the Lack of Teacher Understanding and Application of the Importance of Class Management and lack of focus.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to reveal: 1) The efforts made by teachers to overcome the difficulties of class IV students in learning to read and write at SDN 41 Gelamak; 2) Supporting factors and inhibiting factors for teachers in overcoming the difficulties of fourth grade students learning to read and write at SDN 41 Gelamak. This research uses a qualitative approach and a phenomenological type of research. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction (data simplification), data presentation (displaying data), and verification (concluding data). The results of the research show that: 1. The efforts made by teachers to overcome the difficulties of class IV students in learning to read and write at SDN 41 Gelamak are as follows: a. Providing additional hours, b. Creating fun learning, c. Provide motivation and encouragement. 2. Supporting factors and inhibiting factors for teachers in overcoming the difficulties of class IV students learning to read and write at SDN 41 Gelamak, as follows: a. Supporting factors such as supportive school facilities and qualified teaching human resources, b. Inhibiting factors include children's lack of concentration, low interest and motivation, and lack of parental attention.

Abstract

Teacher planning in implementing the independent curriculum on student learning outcomes in Class IV SDN 09 Sungai Kelambu in the 2023-2024 academic year; 2). Teacher implementation in implementing the independent curriculum on student learning outcomes in class IV SDN 09 Sungai Kelambu in the 2023-2024 academic year; 3). evaluation of the implementation of the independent curriculum on student learning outcomes in class IV SDN 09 Sungai Kelambu in the 2023-2024 academic year This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research type. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that; 1. Teacher planning in implementing the independent curriculum on student learning outcomes in grade IV of SDN 09 Sungai Kelambu in the 2023-2024 academic year, namely the preparation of learning objectives, selection of methods, development of teaching materials, and preparation of teaching modules are carried out systematically and integrated with the Independent Curriculum and the Pancasila student profile. The main focus is the development of student competencies in knowledge, skills, and attitudes through a relevant, contextual, and needs- and interests-oriented approach, ensuring active involvement and effective learning. 2. Teacher implementation in implementing the independent curriculum on student learning outcomes in grade IV of SDN 09 Sungai Kelambu in the 2023-2024 academic year, namely creativity and innovation in teaching, a student-centered approach, use of technology, learning media and character building are effectively implemented. The learning process involves creative methods, consistent technology, and moral values, with teachers acting as facilitators, ensuring students are actively involved and important values ​​are integrated into everyday life. 3. Evaluation of the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum on Student Learning Outcomes in Class IV of SDN 09 Sungai Kelambu in the 2023-2024 Academic Year, namely student learning outcomes are evaluated comprehensively through formative and summative methods, with feedback used to improve teaching effectiveness. In addition, regular communication between teachers and parents, both in person and online, ensures involvement and support in the educational process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of gadgets on fifth-grade students at MIS At Taqwa Sambas and the teacher's role in addressing it. The digital era has presented new challenges for the education sector, where gadget usage provides ambivalent impacts on student development. This research employs a qualitative approach with phenomenological research design. Data collection was conducted through participant observation, unstructured interviews with fifth-grade teachers and students, and documentation. Data analysis utilized the Miles and Huberman model consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that gadgets provide positive influences including increased learning interest through educational applications, interactive learning media, and communication facilitation. However, negative impacts such as learning focus disruption, exposure to inappropriate content, and gadget addiction leading to antisocial behavior were also identified. Teachers play strategic roles in five main dimensions: as guides who establish usage rules, educators who integrate gadgets in interactive learning, coordinators who collaborate with parents, counselors who provide wise usage guidance, and knowledge providers about digital literacy. The success of gadget utilization in education depends on teachers' ability to optimally perform their multidimensional roles and solid collaboration between schools and families in supervising and guiding students' gadget usage.

Abstract

The evaluation of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) plays a vital role in assessing the achievement of educational objectives, which focus not only on cognitive aspects but also on affective and psychomotor aspects. This study aims to analyse the implementation of IRE assessment and to identify the constraints and measures for improvement. The method used was a qualitative approach with data collection techniques involving observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that PAI learning evaluation is still dominated by the assessment of cognitive aspects, whilst the assessment of attitudes and religious practices has not been carried out optimally. The challenges faced include limitations in assessment instruments, the timing of implementation, and teachers’ competence in designing authentic assessments. Therefore, there is a need to develop more comprehensive assessment instruments and provide training for teachers so that they are able to carry out thorough and continuous assessment. With appropriate assessment, it is hoped that Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning can produce students who not only understand religious teachings theoretically but are also able to practise them in daily life.

Abstract

This study aims to uncover: 1) Teacher planning to improve discipline among first-grade students at SDN 02 Parit Merdeka, Tangaran District, in the 2023-2024 academic year; 2) Teacher implementation in improving discipline among first-grade students at SDN 02 Parit Merdeka, Tangaran District, in the 2023-2024 academic year; 3) Teacher evaluation in improving discipline among first-grade students at SDN 02 Parit Merdeka, Tangaran District, in the 2023-2024 academic year. This study uses a qualitative approach and is descriptive in nature. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity checks include triangulation and member checking. The results of the study: 1) Teacher planning to improve the discipline of class VB students at SDN 02 Parit Merdeka, Tangaran District, in the 2023-2024 academic year, namely habituation, role model, awareness, and supervision. 2) Teacher implementation in improving the discipline of class VB students at SDN 02 Parit Merdeka, Tangaran District, in the 2023-2024 academic year, namely preventive implementation, repressive implementation, and curative implementation. 3) Teacher evaluation in improving the discipline of class VB students at SDN 02 Parit Merdeka, Tangaran District, in the 2023-2024 academic year, namely obeying school regulations, giving rewards, consistency in giving rewards, and motivation.
