Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi keterampilan komunikasi siswa dengan strategi pembelajaran Homogeneity Psycho Cognition (HPC) pada sekolah dasar, khususnya dalam konteks pendidikan jasmani. Keterampilan komunikasi merupakan elemen krusial dalam pendidikan abad ke-21, karena mendukung pengembangan keterampilan lain seperti berpikir kritis dan kreatif. Namun, masih terdapat kekurangan signifikan dalam keterampilan komunikasi di kalangan peserta didik, terutama di tingkat sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, dimana pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan metode statistik deskriptif dengan presentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa ketegori baik dari strategi pembelajaran HPC. Secara khusus, strategi HPC terbukti lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa HPC, yang mendukung kolaborasi antar siswa, dapat menumbuhkan keterampilan komunikasi yang memadai di semua siswa. Namun, terdapat faktor penghambat seperti interaksi yang terbatas antara siswa dan lingkungan belajar, serta beban ekonomi yang dapat menimbulkan masalah emosional bagi orang tua, yang pada gilirannya berdampak pada emosi anak. Oleh karena itu, penerapan strategi HPC dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani sangat direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi dan emosional siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi pendidik dalam merancang strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif untuk mendukung perkembangan keterampilan komunikasi siswa.   Abstract: This study aims to explore students' communication skills using the Homogeneity Psycho Cognition (HPC) learning strategy in elementary schools, particularly in the context of physical Education. Communication skills are a crucial element in 21st-century Education, as they support the development of other skills such as critical and creative thinking. However, there is still a significant deficiency in communication skills among learners, especially at the elementary school level. This type of research is quantitative descriptive, where data collection is carried out through questionnaires, while data analysis uses descriptive statistical methods with percentages. The results indicate that the HPC learning strategy improved students' communication skills significantly. Specifically, the HPC strategy enhanced students' communication skills more effectively. The study also found that HPC, which fosters student collaboration, can cultivate adequate communication skills in all students. However, there are hindering factors such as limited interaction between students and the learning environment, and economic burdens that can lead to emotional issues for parents, affecting the children's emotions. Therefore, implementing the HPC strategy in physical Education is highly recommended to enhance communication and emotional skills among elementary school students. This research provides important insights for educators in designing more effective learning strategies to support the development of students' communication skills.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran teknik permainan olahraga “bola Flores” menggunakan metode drill dan flipbook pada mahasiswa Universitas Nusa Nipa. Bola Flores berbeda dengan futsal, basket, voli dan sepak bola. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode drill dengan mengikuti model pengembangan produk ADDIE. Nilai hasil uji coba kelompok kecil yaitu 92,3%, yang bermakna dapat dikategorikan sangat baik digunakan. Hasil validitas ahli media terhadap produk yang dikembangkan dengan 3 aspek menunjukkan nilai 88% - 91%, sedangkan hasil validitas ahli materi dengan 3 aspek menunjukkan presentasi 89%. Berdasarkan validasi dan uji coba yang telah dilakukan pada pengembangan flipbook teknik bermain olahraga bola Flores ini layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya yaitu bahwa pengembangan pembelajaran teknik olahraga bola Flores  dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode drill dan dituangkan dalam flipbook dengan model ADDIE. Abstract: This study aimed to develop learning techniques for playing the sport of "Flores ball" using drill and flipbook methods for students at Nusa Nipa University. Flores ball is different from futsal, basketball, volleyball, and soccer. This study used the drill method by following the ADDIE product development model. The value of the small group trial results was 92.3%, which means it can be categorized as very good to use. The results of the validity of media experts on the product developed with 3 aspects showeded a value of 88% - 91%, while the results of the validity of material experts with 3 aspects show a presentation of 89%. Based on the validation and trials that have been carried out on the development of the Flores ball sport playing technique flipbook, it is suitable for use in learning. The conclusion is that the development of Flores ball sport technique learning can be done using the drill method and is poured into a flipbook with the ADDIE model.

Abstract

The study aimed to identify differences in the physical literacy levels of SMP Plus Al-Musthafa students based on gender and their parents' educational levels. A quantitative approach was utilized with a cross-sectional survey design. A total of 143 students from SMP Plus Al-Musthafa participated in the study, selected through purposive sampling method. Data were collected using the Adolescent Physical Literacy Questionnaire (APLQ) and analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Independent Samples t-Test. The results indicated significant differences in physical literacy levels based on gender (p = 0.002) and the father's education level (p = 0.014), with higher scores observed in male students and those whose fathers were educated at the diploma level or higher. No significant differences were found based on the mother's education level (p = 0.210). These findings suggested that gender and the father's education level played a role in differentiating the physical literacy levels of adolescents. Contextually, these results are important for the development of physical literacy in Indonesia, which still faces challenges with physical activity disparities between genders. The practical implication is that physical education learning needs to be more gender-responsive and encourage parental involvement in fostering an active lifestyle for children.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi aktivitas fisik terhadap IMT dan kebugaran jasmani siswa. Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian diambil dari SMA di Kota Surabaya dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 66 siswa yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner motivasi aktivitas fisik (RM4-FM) serta pengukuran langsung terhadap IMT dan kebugaran jasmani menggunakan instrumen dari kemenpora yaitu Tes Kebugaran Pelajar Nasonal (TKPN). Analisis data dilakukan melalui statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, dan regresi multivariat (GLM Multivariate) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap IMT (F = 9,681; p = 0,003; R² = 0,131) dan kebugaran jasmani (F = 6,089; p = 0,016; R² = 0,087). Uji multivariat (Pillai’s Trace = 0,131; F = 4,765; p = 0,012) juga mengonfirmasi bahwa motivasi secara simultan memengaruhi kedua variabel dependen. Dengan demikian, motivasi terbukti berperan penting dalam menjaga IMT yang seimbang serta meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani siswa melalui aktivitas fisik yang teratur. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bahwa peningkatan motivasi dapat dijadikan strategi penting dalam program pendidikan jasmani dan intervensi kesehatan sekolah untuk mendukung gaya hidup aktif pada remaja. Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of physical activity motivation on BMI and physical fitness of students. The research design used a quantitative cross-sectional approach. The study population was taken from high schools in Surabaya City with a sample of 66 students selected by purposive sampling. Data were collected through a physical activity motivation questionnaire (RM4-FM) and direct measurements of BMI and physical fitness using an instrument from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, namely the National Student Fitness Test (TKPN). Data analysis was carried out through descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and multivariate regression (GLM Multivariate) with the help of SPSS software. The results showed that motivation had a significant effect on BMI (F = 9.681; p = 0.003; R² = 0.131) and physical fitness (F = 6.089; p = 0.016; R² = 0.087). Multivariate testing (Pillai's Trace = 0.131; F = 4.765; p = 0.012) also confirmed that motivation simultaneously influenced both dependent variables. Thus, motivation plays a significant role in maintaining a balanced BMI and improving students' physical fitness through regular physical activity. These findings suggest that enhancing motivation can be an important strategy in physical education programs and school health interventions to support active lifestyles in adolescents.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pembelajaran senam merupakan program latihan yang dirancang secara terstruktur untuk meningkatkan keterampilan gerak keseimbangan pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran senam terhadap kemampuan keseimbangan siswa taman kanak-kanak. Sejumlah tiga puluh siswa terindentifikasi memiliki kesulitan dalam menjaga keseimbangan dipilih sebagai peserta pada kelompok ekspreimen. Peserta diberikan perlakuan melalui program pelatihan senam sebanyak 12 sesi, masing-masing berdurasi 30 menit. Tes awal (Pretest) dilakkan menggunakan tes keseimbangan satu kaki dari instrument Fundamnetal Movement Skills (FMS) selama 40 detik, dan diikuti dengan tes akhir (Posttest) setelah perlakuan. Hasil pretest dan posttest dianalisis menggunakan paired sample t-test dengan Tingkat signifikansi lebih dari 0.05. temuan penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan keseimbangan, dengan rata-rata nilai meningkat dari 72.59 pada pretest menjadi 89.65 pada posttest. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa programm senam selama 12 sesi efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan gerak keseimbangan siswa taman kanak-kanak. Latihan senam yang dilakukan secara berulang dan sistematis melalui kegiatan pembelajaran terbbukti memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap perkembangan kemampuan keseimbangan anak.   Abstract: Gymnastics learning is a structured exercise program designed to improve balance movement skills in early childhood. The purpose of this study was to determine how learning gymnastics affects kindergarten pupils' ability to balance and move. For the experimental group, thirty students with unbalanced movement were tested. Twelve sessions of 30-minute gym training were administered to the sample. A 40-second one-foot balance test indication was used to examine the treatment sample before a basic movement skill test (FMS). T-Paired was used to test pre-test and post-test results with significance > 0.05. The experimental group's ability to balance improved. The post-test score is 89.65, while the pre-test score is 72.59. It has been demonstrated that the 12-time gymnastics program helps children learn how to balance their movements. Learning gymnastics has an effect on kindergarten children' ability to improve their balance and movement skills. Repeated gymnastics exercises are helpful in helping kindergarten students improve their balance and movement skills.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara aktivtias fisik dan kualitas tidur dengan kebugaran jasmani peserta didik Sekolah Menengah Atas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik dari beberapa Sekolah Menengah Atas yang ada di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta sebanyak 419 peserta didik, sampel penelitian ini terbagi menjadi dua yaitu peserta didik laki-laki sebanyak 286 peserta didik dan peserta didik perempuan sebanyak 133 peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner. Data tingkat aktivitas fisik diperoleh menggunakan instrumen form Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ), data kualitas tidur diperoleh menggunakan instrumen form Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), dan data kebugaran jasmani peserta didik diperoleh menggunakan instrumen Tes Kebugaran Jasmani Indonesia (TKJI) usia 16-19 tahun. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini meliputi analisis data kuantitatif yang terdiri dari analisis deskriptif, pengujian prasyarat analisis, analisis korelasi dan regresi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa aktivitas fisik dan kualitas tidur berkorelasi positif dan signifikan dengan tingkat kebugaran jasmani peserta didik dengan besaran sumbangan 69,4%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi aktivitas fisik dan semakin berkualitas tidur yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik maka akan berdampak positif pada tingkat kebugaran jasmani peserta didik. The research method used in this study is a descriptive quantitative research method with a correlational research type. The sampling technique in this study is using a stratified random sampling technique. The sample in this study were students from several high schools in the Special Region of Yogyakarta as many as 419 students, the sample of this study was divided into two, namely 286 male students and 133 female students. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Data on physical activity levels were obtained using the Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ) form instrument, sleep quality data were obtained using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) form instrument, and student physical fitness data were obtained using the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test (TKJI) instrument aged 16-19 years. Data analysis techniques used in this study include quantitative data analysis consisting of descriptive analysis, prerequisite analysis testing, correlation and regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that physical activity and sleep quality are positively and significantly correlated with the level of physical fitness of students with a contribution of 69,4%. So it can be concluded that the higher the physical activity and the better the quality of sleep done by students, the more positive impact on physical fitness level of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis permainan terhadap hasil belajar pendidikan jasmani siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian adalah 20 siswa kelas V SD Negeri Paya Bili Dua. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen berupa tes hasil belajar (pretest dan posttest), lembar observasi, serta validasi ahli. Efektivitas pembelajaran diuji menggunakan analisis N-Gain untuk melihat peningkatan skor hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai pretest siswa adalah 58,4 dan meningkat menjadi 91,2 pada posttest. Nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,79 atau 79,3% yang tergolong dalam kategori tinggi dan dinilai efektif. Model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berupa permainan bola keranjang yang dikemas untuk meningkatkan keterampilan lari jarak pendek secara aktif dan menyenangkan. Validasi dari tiga ahli menyatakan bahwa model sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran berbasis permainan efektif diterapkan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi atletik, khususnya nomor lari jarak pendek.   Abstract: This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of game-based learning on elementary school students' physical education learning outcomes. The research employed a quantitative approach. The subjects were 20 fifth-grade students from SD Negeri Paya Bili Dua. Data were collected through pretest-posttest learning outcome tests, observation sheets, and expert validation. The effectiveness was measured using N-Gain analysis to evaluate students’ improvement. The results showed that the average pretest score was 58.4 and the posttest average increased to 91.2. The N-Gain score reached 0.79 or 79.3%, categorized as high and considered effective. The developed game model, which utilized basketball-based activities, was designed to improve sprint skills in an engaging and active way. Validation from three experts confirmed the model’s feasibility for use in physical education. Therefore, game-based learning is proven to be effective in enhancing student learning outcomes in athletics, particularly in sprinting.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the Pirogov Anatomy Model with an Anchored Instruction approach as an innovation in human anatomy learning for Physical Education students. The background of this research arises from the need for an anatomy learning model that not only emphasizes memorization of body structures but also provides contextual, interactive, and applicable learning experiences relevant to the professional demands in the field of physical education. The Pirogov Anatomy Model utilizes three-dimensional representations of the human body combined with Anchored Instruction, in which learning is guided through contextual scenarios based on real-life problems. Thus, students are encouraged to understand the relationship between anatomical structures, physical activity, sports performance, and health in a more comprehensive way. The research method employed was Research and Development (R&D), consisting of several stages: needs analysis, model design, expert validation, limited trials, and effectiveness testing. The research subjects were Physical Education students enrolled in the Human Anatomy course. Data collection instruments included needs analysis questionnaires, expert validation sheets, and learning outcome tests. The findings indicate that the developed model is valid, practical, and effective in improving students’ conceptual understanding of anatomy. Findings demonstrate a substantial improvement in students’ conceptual understanding. The average pretest score was 62, increasing to 82 on the posttest, resulting in a gain score of 0.53, indicating a moderate to high level of learning effectiveness. Expert evaluations rated the learning design as highly feasible in terms of content accuracy, instructional relevance, and user experience. Students reported improved clarity in identifying anatomical structures and stronger engagement when solving contextual movement-related problems. Overall, the integration of a 3D anatomical visualization tool and anchored, scenario-based learning effectively enhances comprehension of human anatomy in Physical Education contexts and offers a promising model for technology-supported anatomy instruction. Students demonstrated better ability to link anatomical structures with body functions and their application in sports and movement. In conclusion, the Pirogov Anatomy Model with Anchored Instruction offers an innovative alternative learning model that enriches anatomy teaching strategies in higher education, particularly in Physical Education study programs. This model has the potential to improve learning outcomes, critical thinking skills, and the relevance of anatomy knowledge to students’ professional practice

Abstract

Sports massage is a recovery technique designed to reduce muscle tension, enhance blood circulation, and stabilize cardiovascular function. Given the high-intensity intermittent nature of badminton training and the need for rapid cardiovascular recovery, understanding its effects on blood pressure and heart rate is essential for developing evidence-based recovery strategies. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of post-exercise sports massage on blood pressure and heart rate in badminton athletes. A quasi-experimental approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design was employed. The participants were 25 badminton athletes aged 19 years from Siliwangi University, who underwent 16 post-exercise sports massage sessions, each lasting 30 minutes. Blood pressure and heart rate were measured using a calibrated Omron HEM-7130 digital sphygmomanometer. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS, including descriptive statistics, the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, and the Wilcoxon signed-rank test at a 5% significance level (α = 0.05). The results revealed significant reductions in systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, and heart rate across all participants between pretest and posttest measurements (p < 0.001), indicating the consistent benefits of post-exercise sports massage. In conclusion, post-exercise sports massage effectively reduces blood pressure and heart rate in badminton athletes, supporting its use as a physiological recovery strategy. These findings provide practical implications for coaches and sports medicine practitioners in designing evidence-based recovery protocols, and future research should explore optimal massage duration and frequency across different athletic populations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbaharui norma keterampilan sepakbola usia 10 – 12 tahun untuk dapat digunakan dalam penilaian keterampilan bermain sepakbola dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan (PJOK) baik peserta didik putera maupun puteri di sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Norma penilaian keterampilan sepakbola dari Daral Fauzi untuk dapat digunakan dalam penilaian keterampilan bermain sepakbola dalam pembelajaran PJOK usia 10 - 12 tahun. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari peserta didik putera berjumlah 64 dan peserta didik puteri berjumlah 40. Instrumen keterampilan sepakbola dari Daral Fausi ada 6 item tes, yaitu: 1) tes dribbling, 2) tes short passed, 3) tes throw in, 4) tes running with the ball, 5) tes heading the ball, dan 6) tes shooting at the goal. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survei dengan tes dan pengukuran keterampilan bermain sepakbola. Teknik analisis data, yaitu 1) korelasi prodact moment untuk mengetahui validitas (korelasi item tes dengan total skor tes) dan reliabilitas item tes (test-retest), 2) pengkatogorian di masing-masing item tes mengunakan data yang telah diubah ke T-skor dan data aslinya, serta pengkategorian keterampilan keseluruhan dengan data total T-Skor. Hasil penelitian dihasilkan norma penilaian keterampilan bermain sepakbola untuk setiap item tes dan gabungan seluruh item tes baik untuk peseta didik putera maupun puteri. Norma penilaian keterampilan bermain sepakbola dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani di sekolah dasar untuk peserta didik putra dan putri usia 10 - 12 tahun. Validitas dan reliabilitas setiap item tes baik peserta didik putera dan puteri.   Abstract: This study aims to update the norms of football skills for 10-12 year olds to be used in assessing football playing skills in physical education, sports and health (PJOK) learning for both male and female students in elementary schools. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The norms for assessing football skills from Daral Fauzi can be used in assessing football playing skills in PJOK learning for 10-12 year olds. The subjects of this study consisted of 64 male students and 40 female students. The football skills instrument from Daral Fausi has 6 test items, namely: 1) dribbling test, 2) short passed test, 3) throw-in test, 4) running with the ball test, 5) heading the ball test, and 6) shooting at the goal test. The data collection technique uses a survey method with tests and measurements of football playing skills. Data analysis techniques, namely 1) product moment correlation to determine the validity (correlation of test items with total test scores) and reliability of test items (test-retest), 2) categorization in each test item using data that has been converted to T-scores and the original data, as well as categorization of overall skills with total T-Score data. The results of the study produced norms for assessing soccer playing skills for each test item and a combination of all test items for both male and female students. Norms for assessing soccer playing skills in physical education learning in elementary schools for male and female students aged 10-12 years. Validity and reliability of each test item for both male and female students.
