This article is a study description of classroom action research that is focused on the improvement of students' creative thinking skills. The study was conducted at SDN 15 Jake Kuantan Tengah in Kuantan Singingi. The study also involved 28 elementary students in grade VI, which consisted of 10 male students and 18 female students. The method used was descriptive-quantitative. The result of the study showed that after the application of learning with the discovery learning model, students' creative thinking skills increased. It is proven from the data analysis result of students' creative thinking skills. The percentage of students who complete the pre-cycle before being given action was 46.5%. Subsequently, in cycle I, it was found that the percentage of students who completed the test was 64.3%. In addition, in cycle II, the percentage was significantly 92.9%. Thus, it could be concluded that the application of the discovery learning model could increase the creative thinking skills of sixth-grade students at SDN 15 Jake Kuantan Tengah in Kuantan Singingi.

This article analyzes the students’ learning outcomes, describes the educators’ activities and increases the students’ learning activities by using combination models of problem-based learning (PBL), numbered heads together (NHT), and make a match (MM). The research method used a quantitative and qualitative approach with the Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was conducted in four meetings. The subjects of the research involved 26 fifth-grade students at SDN Handil Bakti in the academic year 2021/2022. Data of students’ learning outcomes were obtained through measurement techniques with individual written tests. Educators’ and students’ activities were obtained by using observation sheets. Data analysis of the research used descriptive analysis techniques described by using tables, graphs, and interpretations with percentages. The results showed that 96% of students' learning outcomes were complete. Educator activity obtained a score of 27 with very good criteria, and 96% of students’ learning activity reached the very active category. In conclusion, the learning has been effective. The educators’ activities are very good and the students’ activities were very active. In addition, the students’ learning outcomes of single and mixed object learning materials have reached the needed completeness.

At present, there are still some teachers who when teaching use leatoring and demonstration methods. It influences less effective teaching and learning and takes a lot of timeand energy to explain process by process when teaching in class. To avoid this, we need the right media that can describe each process from preparation to completion without having totake a long time and can be reused and attract students' interest inlearning so that students donot feel bored when studying. Hence, a teacher is required to be able to create a learning media. By using learning media, teachers will be easier to convey material so that learningmedia can be used as media that combines sound with images so that it will attract more attention during the learning process. In addition, learning media also has advantages, one of them is that it can be seen repeatedly if we need it. This article is focused on the developmentstudy of dance learning media based on environmental care. Based on the of the study, the average total score of media validity showed 88% in the ‘very valid’ category and the average total score of product try-out showed 94.02% in the ‘very good’ category. Thus, developed dance learning media could be said feasible and used by teacher and students in Art, Culture, and Craft learning subject in elementary school.

The low concept mastery possessed by students influences learning outcomes that are often far from the standard of assessment, especially in natural science learning subjects. The research described in this article is generally aimed to develop digital comic learning media that could build the students' concept mastery. The research used a quantitative approach with quantitative-descriptive methods. The method used was Research and Development (R&D), which is a scientific method to obtain data so that it could be used to produce, develop, and validate products. Digital comic as learning media was first developed through a product validation that involved material and media experts to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the product. Then, digital comic products were tested to determine the students' concept mastery after participating in learning activities. The participants of the research involved 23 fifth-grade students in one of the public elementary schools in Karimun Riau Islands. The results showed that digital comics were appropriate and effective to be used as learning media that could help teachers in natural science learning subject activities. The learning media of digital comics could also improve the fifth-grade students' concept mastery as evidenced by the improvement of students’ learning outcomes.

This article describes the students’ nationalistic attitudes, the classroom teachers’ efforts to instil an attitude of nationalism, and the obstacles faced by classroom teachers in instilling students' nationalistic attitudes at MI al-Ma'arif 04 Singosari Malang. It is because the spirit of nationalism has regressed. The research in this article used a descriptivequalitative approach to describe the phenomenon comprehensively through data collection and compiled in the narrative form. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Furthermore, the data analysis used generally included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah already had an excellent nationalism attitude with an understanding of nationalism that was by the standards. To create this nationalist attitude in real, classroom teachers have tried it through 1)academic activities and 2) non-academic activities such as carrying out flag ceremonies, commemorating national days such as the Youth Pledge, Santri Day, and carrying out Scout activities. Meanwhile, the obstacles faced by classroom teachers in instilling an attitude of nationalism were meaningless and could be overcome. Hence, classroom teachers must continually improve in developing this nationalistic attitude in order to make the Indonesian nation to be strong with its unity and integrity.

Research that was conducted by researchers from 2013-2022 has mostly been about teaching materials combined with local wisdom in learning in elementary and junior high schools (SMP). However, there is still certain research on students’ worksheets related to local wisdom based on the content of social science learning subjects in elementary schools. This article provides an overview of the percentage of use of student worksheets, the use of research methods, and then results or positive impacts or contributions of the research on the motivation of an educator to create or modify teaching materials based on local wisdom. Meta-analysis was carried out by searching for articles from web journals through Google Scholar and obtaining 50 articles that were saved in the research data documents. After the analysis, it was obtained that 30 articles matched the criteria. The meta-analysis that was carried out produced an overview that the mostdominant percentage of students' worksheets was 27% in 2020 and the research method used was the R&D method with a percentage of 64%. And the results of the research were getting good responses from validators, teachers, and students with the average category being very good.

This study aimed to describe the teachers’ role in utilizing a library to instill the third-grade students’ reading interest. The method used in this study was a descriptive qualitative method. The data were collected through interviews, direct observation, and documentation. This study revealed that the teachers played a role in utilizing a library to instill students’ reading interest. The teachers understood the benefits of a library. In conclusion, the teachers positively impacted students to become more active during learning, and students had a habit of reading activities before learning began.

The description of this article is based on the number of elementary school students who still do not have the ability to read and understand well. This article describes a study about the contents of the stimulation of thematic textbooks for SD./MI grade IV theme 3 to foster students' reading comprehension skills. The study described in this article used a descriptive qualitative approach. The type of research conducted was a document analysis research (documentary analysis) study. The documents analyzed were the thematic textbooks for grade IV students on theme 3 revised edition in 2017 which consisted of teacher books and student books. The main informants in the study were the teacher's book and the student's book. While the formal object of the study was the ability to read and understand. The results showed that the thematic textbooks for class IV theme 3 already contained stimuli in growing students' reading comprehension skills. The stimulation contained in this thematic textbook was in the form of commands that stimulate students to carry out activities to achieve reading comprehension skills.

Peer guidance is a method that provides opportunities for students to share the students’ knowledge with their peers and help their peers based on the skills the students have. Tutors are given the responsibility of helping the students in learning when they encounter difficulties in learning. The relationship between the students and their peers is closer than the teacher and the students and something that students are given to their peers usually could give a better effect than not given since the language used was easy to understand by using their own language. Peers refer to close friends or best friends. Qualitative research methodsdescribed in this article are used to know in detail the events experienced by the subjects either descriptively or thoroughly in the form of sentences. The method used was very effective for students and the teacher in which students were not bored and the teacher was not monotonous in teaching. The factor that affects peer guidance came from the same age level, which allowed children to have the same interest, talks, and activities in order to encourage friendship relationships with peers. Active learning is an activity in which students directly, intellectually, and emotionally play an important role and participate actively in learning. Active learning is an active learning system that refers to independent learning. The inhibiting factor and difficulty frequently occurred in active learning are how to solve the differences on the student characteristics.

This article discusses the teacher's personality competence in implementing discipline character education for fifth-grade students. The study described in this article was qualitative descriptive research and the subjects of the research were teachers and students. The study involved the fifth-grade students at the Khalifah Islamic Elementary School in Serang in the 2020/2021 academic year. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews and supported by documentation. Data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study could be concluded that (1) the teacher at class V of Abdullah bin Mas'ud Islamic Elementary School Khalifah Serang has implemented personality competencies in learning. The personality competency shown by the teacher was the personality of teachers who have noble character and exemplary for students. (2) The ways of the teacher at class V of Abdullah bin Mas'ud understanding well about the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing disciplined character education were seen from the teacher’s understanding in instilling the discipline character education, with the attitude or examplary of the teacher in providing examples of disciplined character, and then from the support from the school and the important role of parents for students. And (3) the teacher's efforts in applying the discipline character for students that have been implemented well were seen on the existence of habits such as dhuha prayer and Tilawatil Al-Qur’an, the existence ofrules or regulations during the online learning process, and the existence of exemplary that could be formed due to habits carried out by students
