Abstract

Community service for PKK members and youth organizations at the Samsara Living Museum, Jungutan Village, Karangasem, Bali aimed to assist preserve ceremonial plants which include ornamental plants and coconuts of various types and the introduction of blue tea from Clitoria ternatea and turmeric drink for the use of medicinal plants. The initial method was carried out with a site survey to take an inventory of plants at the service location, then socialization with participants was carried out through poster presentations and then continued with the practice of plant nurseries and making blue tea and taste testing of herbal turmeric and tamarind drink. Based on the results of the implementation in the field, most of the participants were new to the existence of blue tea which is beneficial for health because it contains antioxidants. The vegetative propagation of ornamental plants with high economic value such as aglonema, Sanseviera and red betel was very interesting for the participants to increase the effort of propagation of ornamental plants that could be done easily. The introduction of some coconuts such as Mulung coconut which can be used to maintain the body's immunity during a pandemic. The turmeric and tamarind drink helps stamina during the pandemic and can also be tried by participants and has been used as a 'welcome drink' for visitors to Samsara. Some PKK members have tried to grow eggplant and chili vegetables in their yard and are interested in increasing ornamental plants for entrepreneurial activities to motivate other PKK members. Abstract

The purpose of this partner village development program is to develop the potential of the village as optimally as possible and empower the target community. One aspect that has the potential to be developed in Belimbing village is agro-tourism. Nature tourism requires supporting facilities such as trajectories/paths for tourists to certain tourist locations. The Suradadi Tracking track was deliberately created and arranged for the benefit of local residents as a production road and for tourists who want to enjoy the beauty of the natural panorama such as rice terraces and stunning mountain views. Belimbing Village has natural tourism potential and community traditions that have not been managed optimally. Since its stipulation as a National Priority Development Area (KPPN), this village has begun to improve, reviving the existing potential with the support of the local government and collaborating with various parties. The Partner Village Development Program Team (PPDM) from Udayana University is one of the parties that collaborates with Belimbing village. One of the activities of this second year program is the arrangement of the Suradadi tracking agrotourism route as part of the saptapesona element. Collaboration between partners, KKN students, local residents, village heads and the Unud PPDM team carried out mutual cooperation to realize the Suradadi tracking path. Along the route, planting of ornamental plants "Puring and fruit" was carried out, as well as socialization of local waste processing technology (TOSS) and preparing special trash bins for inorganic waste so that it added the clean, cool and beautiful elements of Saptapesona. Marketing of village tourism packages is done through the “Godevi” (Go Destination Village) application which involves Pokdarwis and the Godevi team. Abstract

People's behavior since the pandemic has changed a lot. Health is the main priority factor for the community, both in daily activities, traveling, to choosing the products to buy. One of the important aspects that consumers pay attention to is product packaging. The packaging of food and beverage products is currently still receiving little attention from the food producer groups in Batu Bintang Hamlet. The service is carried out to the PKK group in Batu Bintang Hamlet, most of which sell their processed food around the stalls in the Batu Bintang Hamlet area. The activity was carried out on Sunday, July 24, 2022. The location of the activity was in Dusun Batu Bintang, Dauh Puri Klod Village, Denpasar City. The activity presented speakers from the Denpasar City Department of Industry and Trade. The presentation on Marketing and Financial Management was conducted by a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business. This service activity has benefited the Banjar Batu Bintang PKK group in improving product cleanliness, safety, quality, and productivity. Participants hope that community service activities like this will be carried out more intensively. Keywords: Design, packaging, safety, and quality.

Abstract

Objective: To increase knowledge and awareness about the risk of noise-induced hearing loss as a promotive effort in preventing noise-induced hearing loss among high school and vocational high school students in Denpasar City. Methods: Implementation of webinars and online workshops on the introduction and treatment of noise-induced hearing loss in high school and vocational high school students in Denpasar City. The increase in knowledge in this activity is assessed by the results of the pre-test and post-test. Results: A webinar and workshop "Generasi Muda Sadar Bising" has been held on September 25, 2021 using Zoom. This activity was attended by 134 SMA – SMK students from 5 schools in Denpasar. There was an increase in knowledge of the participants of webinars and workshops where the mean value of the pre-test and posttest increased from 66.89 to 77.68. The participants seemed active in the workshop activities and were able to follow the activities from beginning to end. Conclusion: Webinars and workshops about awareness of noises for the young generation can increase the knowledge and awareness of among high school and vocational high school students in Denpasar City. Abstract

Jenilu Village is one of the villages located in Kakuluk Mesak District, Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. Jenilu Village has a women's farmer called KWT Wero. This farmers are active in agricultural activities such as planting horticulture. In addition, the KWT Wero Farmers have a cattle farm with a semi-intensive rearing system. Cattle farming by the community produces waste in the form of livestock manure. This waste is a lot and has not been utilized by the community. The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge and skills of the community in the use of cow dung as an ingredient for making bokashi fertilizer. The approach taken is a participatory approach with a series of activities that include counseling, training, demonstration/practice, and mentoring. The result of community service activities in Jenilu Village is bokashi fertilizer made by the community. The results of the production of bokashi fertilizer are used by the KWT Wero Farmers as an alternative to the use of inorganic fertilizers in increasing the production of horticultural crops. Abstract

The elderly are vulnerable to Covid-19, so they need support from cadres as a support system in the community. The aim of this community service is to improve the safety of the elderly to be able to avoid Covid-19 by providing training in the management of health protocols for cadres. Activities carried out include education on Covid-19 prevention protocols, education on support for physical, mental and adequate nutrition, hand washing exercises, and training on making hand sanitizers that are not irritating and safe for elderly skin. The participants involved were 40 elderly cadres in Melinggih Gianyar Village and Babahan Tabanan Village utilizing hybrid learning, namely offline and online training. The result is an increase in the ability of cadres by 52.2% where 100% of cadres have good knowledge after training. Statistical test results obtained with the Wilcoxon test showed p value= 0.000?<0.05 (Z= -5.559) which means that there is an effect of providing training on the ability of cadres to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 in the elderly. Mastery of skills for cadres in implementing health protocols is expected to be able to contribute to preventing the transmission of Covid-19 and reducing morbidity in the elderly so that they are still able to live a quality old age. Abstract

In the era of the Covid-19 pandemic, people are asked to continue to implement health protocols, use masks, wash hands regularly, maintain distance between people, and avoid crowds. The Satria Bird Market in Denpasar City is one of the animal markets located in the Denpasar area and it is still crowded with people. This poses a high risk of Covid-19 transmission because the market is always crowded and crowds generally occur, so strict precautions need to be taken to prevent Covid-19 transmission at the Satria Bird Market. The corona-19 virus is very dangerous to human health. Likewise, avian influnza virus which is an animal disease. Avian invluenza is not only dangerous for poultry, but also humans because it is zoonoses. This community service activity aims to prevent Covid-19 and afian influenza at the Satria Bird Market. This service activity was carried out in the form of distributing 1,250 pcs of masks, giving 1,800 chicken eggs, distributing 800 vitamin C + Zinc capsules to traders and parking attendants, disinfectant assistance, disinfecting stalls in the Satria Bird Market area of Denpasar City, and giving 400 Vitachick sachets for birds/poultry. This service was held on July 30, 2021, attended offline by 4 community service teams, 1 employee, 44 online lecturers, 2 bird market stall owners representatives, Satria bird market stall, and 3 parking attendants. Abstract

Sport is a very important physical activity and is closely related to human life. A significant increase in players or athletes, if not accompanied by knowledge of playing techniques and handling initial injuries on the field, can result in athletes having a tendency to re-injury and slow recovery, so that the expected achievements cannot be realized. Based on these problems, community service was carried out with solutions: (1) Socialization of the handling of sports injuries preventions, (2) physical examination of core muscle endurance, footwork, and balance, and (3) socialization of stretching, muscle strength, and injury prevention training that targets the core muscle and prorioceptive areas. The socialization was carried out through leaflet media and direct face-to-face presentations to 55 athletes. Meanwhile, at the stage of measuring physical capacity, it is carried out using inclusion and exclusion criteria in order to meet the requirements for the validity and reliability of the measurements that have been determined, reaching 25 athletes. The results of static balance are dominated by the very good category, while the foot work is dominated by the moderate category. In core muscle endurance the average athlete reaches (87.12 ± 38, 23), while in dynamic balance the average score of the athlete reaches (94.24 ± 11, 35). Abstract

The existence of cultural heritage is increasingly being pushed aside due to modernization. In developing a city tour for Denpasar City, the information about this tourist attraction is not yet optimal. Information and promotion of tourist attractions is very important to attract tourists and visiting tourists. The limited information available and accessible to tourists certainly hinders the growth of tourism in an area. In particular, castle tourism requires a touch of innovation in tourism products in the midst of intense competition and trends in contemporary tourism products. This community service activity was carried out in Dangin Puri Kaja Village, North Denpasar District, Denpasar City, Bali with the aim of exploring and compiling information guides for castle tourist attractions and utilizing social media for the promotion of tourist attractions. The community service activity program carried out at Puri Agung Denpasar has achievement targets in the form of: an increase in digital promotion on an ongoing basis; there is a guide for the younger generation and visiting tourists; Denpasar City tourism is getting more vibrant through the development of castle tourism; social media promotion is complemented by tutorials on managing Instagram and Facebook accounts. This community service activity is expected to have a positive impact by increasing the recognition of Puri Agung Denpasar and increasing the income of the surrounding community from the increasing number of tourist visits. Abstract

The golden period of growth and development is at the age of under five years. Detection of deviations in growth and development can be done at the integrated health post and cadres are the main driver in this detection. Community participation and the capacity of integrated health post’s cadres and managers are still lacking. One of the efforts to increase community participation is capacity training for integrated health post’s cadres and managers. Aims of this training is to increase knowledge of integrated health post’s cadres and managers in Purwa Kerthi Village, Abang District, Karangasem Regency in managing integrated health center and early detection of children under five years growth and development’s deviations. The training used the lecture method, question and answer and case discussions assisted by power point presentations, videos, guidebooks for the growth and development’s implementation at integrated health center and guidebooks for growth and development’s early detection. The participants were 15 people, namely 7 cadres dan 8 managers, including 4 hamlet heads, human development cadre, village staff and village midwife. Before and after the training participants filled out pre--post test questionnaires. The Wilcoxon test were used to analyze data. Knowledge of integrated health center cadres and managers increased after being given training. As an implication, cadres and managers are able to manage integrated health center well, cadres are able to carry out early detection independently and follow up if there are developmental deviations in children under five.
