Abstract

Increasing the status of the nine-year compulsory education program into a twelve-year compulsory education program is a challenge for local governments to make it happen because of the fact that occurred in the field that the education office of Bogor Regency and Bandung District Education Office has not been able to complete the nine-year compulsory education, whereas the program is targeted to be completed in 2008 ago. This proves that the government's performance in realizing the compulsory education program is slow. To realize the twelve-year compulsory education mission required consistency in the preparation of planning and budgeting. Problem that occurs is planning and budgeting in education offices Bogor and Bandung regency is still not consistent because of the difference between programs and budgets between documents with each other. These inconsistencies affect the achievement of the twelve-year compulsory education program has not reached a predetermined target.

Abstract

The tourism sector is one of the important sources of state revenue. The arrival’s number of foreign tourist to Bali is increasing both of quantity and quality, therefore the improvement of tourism facilities is needed. One of the example is providing good accommodation (rooms) in accordance with the needs and expectations of guests, but to provide accommodation services through the development of a lodging should give attention to aspects of the feasibility study. The results of this feasibility study will show the project / investment is feasible or not feasible. This research was conducted in Payogan village, Ubud district, Gianyar regency, Bali, which is the investment / construction project of The Gangsa Ubud Private Villa & Spa located. Data analysis methods used are more focused on the analysis of market and marketing aspects, and analysis of financial aspects. Research result indicates that business idea for gangsa Ubud Private Villa & Spa is feasible based on market and marketing aspects and financial aspects.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effects of intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on ethical behavior with experience as a moderating variable. The data used in this study is the primary data obtained through questionnaires with auditors as respondents and measured using a 5 points Likert Scale. The analysis technique used is Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA) This Study finds that intellectual intelligence, emotional and spiritual intelligence prove have a positive effect on the ethical behavior. In addition, this study found that the variable of experience had strengthen the influence of intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence spiritual intelligence on ethical behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: (1) influence of organizational support to employee performance, (2) influence of organizational support to organizational commitment and (3) influence organizational commitment to employee performance. A total of 77 employees of the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Denpasar is used as a sample with sampling technique that is saturated sampling. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive analysis and SEM-PLS. The result of this study found that organizational support had positive and significant effect on employee performance, with coefficient value was 0,389 and t statistics value was 4,086 (> t critical 1,96). The effect of organizational support on organizational commitment resulted in coefficient value of 0.634 and t statistics of 9.091 (> t critical 1.96) which means significant. Furthermore, organizational commitment also has a significant positive effect on employee performance, with coefficient value of 0.363 and t statistics value of 4.635 (> t critical 1.96). This study proves that employees who get support from the organization proved able to increase organizational commitment to work which implies to the better performance displayed by employees of the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Denpasar.

Abstract

Capital market as a place to invest investors need to have some accurate information to consider returns and risks obtained, the existence of capital market anomaly symptoms due to the many parties and various factors involved causing the emergence of irregularities such as Size Effect and The Day of Week effect. The purpose of this study to determine the existence of irregularities of both anomalies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data sourced from sectoral shares listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period January 2017 - July 2017 as many as 21 companies with sampling techniques using purposive sampling method and obtained two types of groups of large capitalized stock and small capitalized stock. The analysis tools used include One Way ANOVA Test and Two Sample Tests Free Test (Independent Sample T test). The results of the company size study there is no size effect. On the day of trading there was no anomaly symptoms of The Day of Week effect where the smallest return occurred on Tuesday (Tuesday effect) and the highest return occurred on Wednesday. The result of firm size measurement on trading day explains that there is significant difference of result due to weakness of public purchasing power of that period. Advice can be given to investors not always relying on anomalies when making investment decisions.
