Abstract

The agricultural sector is a very important sector, efficiency the use of land area, labor, and capital is an absolute thing for a farmer. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of land area, labor, and capital to production as well as to find out efficiency and scale of production produced. Data used in research this is primary data, namely by distributing questionnaires to farmers watermelon in the State District of Jembrana Regency. Sample used in this study as many as 80 respondents. Using regression analysis techniques multiple linear. The results of this study indicate that the land area, labor, and capital have a simultaneous effect on production. Land area in partial positive and significant effect on production. Labor force partial positive and significant effect on production. Partial capital positive and significant effect on production. Efficiency level of area land and capital are already efficient and their use can still be increased and labor is not efficient so it does not need to be increased its use. Scale production is in a decreasing return of scale. Keywords: Total Production; Economic of Scale; Efficiency Input of Production.

Abstract

The inspectorate as the government's internal auditor has an important role as a monitoring function in achieving a governance, free from corruption, collusion, and nepotism. The quality of the audit is the basis for the assessment in the supervision that has been carried out by the inspection. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of professionalism, competence, independence, and integrity on audit quality, using an associative quantitative approach. The population in this study was 61 people. The research sample was 61 officials as internal auditors at the Bali Provincial Inspectorate Office, using purposive sampling methods. For the analysis technique used is multiple regression linear. The results of this study indicate that the variables of professionalism, competence, independence, and integrity have a positive effect on the quality of the audit, so that the higher the professionalism, competence, independence, and integrity of the auditor, for better quality of the audit produced, and will affect in the next audit assignment, so that later the quality of the audit produced is more qualified and trusted.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the Village Fund Direct Assistance (BLT-DD), Work Status, and Income simultaneously and partially on the Expenditure of Poor Households in Pelaga Village, Petang District during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This research was conducted in Pelaga Village, Petang District, Badung Regency, Bali Province. The population in this study were poor households who were beneficiaries of BLT-DD in Pelaga Village. The number of samples is 130 beneficiary households. The sampling technique is a non-probability sampling technique, namely by accidental sampling. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the Village Fund Direct Cash Assistance (BLT-DD), Work Status, and Income simultaneously affected the Expenditures of Poor Households in Pelaga Village, Petang Subdistrict during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Direct Village Fund Cash Assistance (BLT-DD), Working Status, and Income partially have a positive effect on Poor Household Expenditures in Pelaga Village, Evening District during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Abstract

Merger and acquisition activities are corporate action activities that often occur in Indonesia, especially in the banking sector. Merger and acquisition activities abnormal return of shares and trading volume activities (TVA). In this case the merger activity and gives a signal to investors to invest. This study aims to examine the capital market against banking industry companies that carry out mergers and acquisitions on the Indonesia Stock Exchange as seen through abnormal stock returns and TVA. There are 14 companies conducting mergers and acquisitions from 2001 to 2021 on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The method that used by this event study with non-probability sampling method, namely purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used was the Wilcoxon signed rank test. The results showed that there were no significant market differences before and before the announcement of mergers and acquisitions. Another thing found is the announcement of mergers and acquisitions significant differences in TVA before and before mergers and acquisitions.

Abstract

Agglomeration is an important role to increase social satisfaction and efficiency in the economy. The existence of agglomerations tend to occur in urban areas and become an interesting phenomenon to study. It is because agglomeration can cause productivity as well as welfare in society. This study aims to determine the quality of life in the economic agglomeration area based on the four dimensions well-being and find out the supporting and inhibiting factors of that quality of life. This research located in Terusan Ambarawa Street, Sumbersari, Lowokwaru District, Malang City, East Java. This research uses a qualitative approach, with primary and secondary data collected through observation, interviews, and literature review. The results showed society quality of life in the Terusan Ambarawa Street by four dimensions of well-being. These dimension are material well-being, emotional well-being, health and safety well-being, and community well-being. In addition, the results of this study identified several supporting and inhibiting factors for each dimension. The result of this study can be considered by the Malang City government in determining the next policy.

Abstract

SMEs are one of the important pillars in efforts to improve the national economy. SMEs are able to increase the wheels of the national economy because SMEs are able to absorb labor to reduce unemployment. The problems that are often faced by SMES are not being able to compete in the era of globalization due to the lack of a sustainable competitive advantage caused by the lack of support from government agencies (financial support or non-financial support) and the lack of entrepreneurial orientation of SMES business practitioners. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of government institutional support on the sustainable competitive advantage of SMEs in Denpasar and explore the role of entrepreneurial orientation in mediating the relationship between government institutional support and sustainable competitive advantage. The sample in this study is 100 SMES in Denpasar, analyzed by using PLS (Partial Least Square) analysis technique. The results of this study found that: government institution support a significant positive effect on the sustainable competitive advantage and Entrepreneurial Orientation. Entrepreneurial orientation also has a significant positive effect on the Sustainable Competitive Advantage. Finally, entrepreneurial orientation has a partial mediation effect between government institution support Sustainable Competitive Advantage.

Abstract

Economic growth is one indicator of the economic progress of a country. The economic growth of the Province of Bali shows the occurrence of fluctuating disparities between regencies/cities, and even tends to decrease every year. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of investment, education level, UMK, and exports simultaneously and partially on the economic growth and analyze the variables that affect district/city economic growth in Bali Province. The data used is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of Bali Province, with a total of 54 observations. The method of data collection in this study is the observation method. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that (1) investment, education level, UMK, and exports simultaneously had a significant effect on the economic growth of districts/cities in Bali Province, (2) investment, education level and exports partially had a positive and significant effect, while the UMK partially has a negative and significant effect on the economic growth of districts/cities in Bali Province, (3) the UMK are the variables that have the most dominant influence on the economic growth of districts/cities in Bali Province.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of environmental concern and green perceived value on green purchase intention which is mediated by attitude towards green in tumbler products at Starbucks. This study used a purposive sampling technique, namely 180 respondents who live in SARBAGITA (Denpasar, Badung, Gianyar, and Tabanan). The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive analysis and Partial Least Square. The results of the study found that environmental concern and green perceived value had a positive and significant effect on attitude towards green and green purchase intention, attitude towards green had a positive and significant effect on green purchase intention, and attitude towards green partially mediated the relationship between environmental concern and green perceived value with green purchase intention. The practical implication of this research is that it can provide information for company managers in making marketing programs which at the same time can educate and provide information to customers about the benefits of using a Starbucks tumbler.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of economic growth, district/city minimum wages, and government spending on labor absorption in the province of Bali. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the analysis results indicate that the level of economic growth has a negative (not significant) effect on the level of employment in the Regency/City in the Province of Bali. The district/city minimum wage level has a positive (significant) effect on the district/city employment rate in Bali Province. The level of government expenditure has a positive (significant) effect on the level of absorption of Regency/City workers in the Province of Bali. Based on the research results, it can be suggested that the government can increase visits for both foreign and domestic tourists, thereby increasing the value of GRDP and the rate of economic growth. The government is also expected to provide employment programs so that the programs implemented can be right on target, with the right quality and on time as well as increasing labor productivity through education and labor training so as to create job opportunities for quality workers.

Abstract

Shopee is the second largest e-commerce in Indonesia. This increasingly easy buying and selling process affects the occurrence of impulse buying. Purchases made without a plan before the purchase process is carried out are called impulsive buying. There are various variables behind impulsive buying, including the quality of the website which is influenced by the use of credit cards and sales promotions. This study was conducted to examine the role of credit card use and sales promotion in moderating the influence of website quality on impulsive buying. 110 Shopee website users in Denpasar City were involved in this study. This study was analyzed with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach, and resulted that the quality of the website had a positive on impulsive buying, the use of credit cards had a positive on impulsive buying, sales promotions had a positive on impulsive buying, credit card use does not significantly strengthen the influence of website quality on impulsive buying, and sales promotions do not significantly strengthen the influence of website quality on impulsive buying. The implication of this research is as a solution recommendation to Shopee in increasing impulsive buying behavior by improving website quality, using credit cards, and selling promotions.
