Abstract

The research conducted aims to see whether there is a significant effectiveness between the provision of services in the form of spiritual counseling with body dissatisfaction behavior in students, as a form of effort to make students feel more satisfied with their body condition or shape. This type of research is experimental quantitative research with a single subject research design with the A-B-A phase conducted at MAN 2 Kota Bekasi. The population in this study is class XII with a sample that has been determined using purposive sampling technique as many as 2 students as research samples. Based on the Paired Sample T Test hypothesis test output, the Sig. (2-tailed) obtained is 0.002. if the Sig. (2-tailed) value obtained is less than 0.05 then there is a significant difference in body dissatisfaction behavior in students before and after getting spiritual counseling treatment or intervention. So it can be concluded that spiritual counseling is effective for reducing body dissatisfaction behavior in students at MAN 2 Kota Bekasi.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of humanistic-based group counseling to improve students' self-confidence. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving 11 8th grade students of SMPN 234 Jakarta who have low self-confidence. The counseling process includes the stages of opening, transition, core activities, and ending. The results showed a significant increase in aspects of public speaking, assertiveness, and open acceptance of criticism. An empathetic, supportive, and non-judgmental counseling environment provides space for students to recognize their potential and increase their self-confidence. This study recommends the integration of a humanistic approach in school counseling programs to support students' psychological development.

Abstract

Suku Gayo adalah sebuah suku yang mendiami dataran tinggi di wilayah Provinsi Aceh, secara mayoritas masyrakat suku Gayo terdapat di Kabupaten Aceh Tengah, Bener Meriah, Gayo Lues dan Aceh Tenggara yang mayoritas masyarakatnya beragama Islam. masyarakat Gayo sangat fanatik terhadap Agama Islam sehingga adat, budaya dan sistem pendidikan semua berlandaskan Agama Islam. Suku Gayo menggunakan bahasa sehari-hari yang disebut bahasa Gayo yang berbeda dengan suku Aceh. Nilai mukemel adalah nilai tertinggi dalam sistem budaya suku Gayo, nilai mukemel artinya nilai rasa malu Menurut ajaran dalam Agama Islam, manusia selalu berhubungan dengan Allah Swt, manusia dan alam semesta. Mukemel dalam ketiga hubungan itu merupakan satu kesatuan yang tidak boleh dipisahkan dengan fokus mukemel terhadap Allah Swt. Seseorang yang tidak memiliki nilai mukemel (rasa malu) terhadap Allah Swt dan manusia, akan mudah melakukan pebuatan maksiat, pemalas dan sulit untuk mengembangkan dirinya.

Abstract

The family as the smallest social unit has an important role in the formation of personality and emotional well-being of individuals. However, violations of privacy in family relationships can cause psychological tension and feelings of anxiety, especially in adolescents and students. This study aims to understand the experiences of students who experience violations of privacy in the family environment and to describe the dynamics of group counseling with a humanistic approach in helping to manage the anxiety experienced. The research approach used was qualitative with a case study design, involving six students who participated in group counseling services. The findings showed that group counseling provided a safe and supportive space for participants to express their feelings and obtain emotional support. This resulted in increased self-awareness, emotional relief, and decreased levels of anxiety felt. This study contributes to the development of counseling practices, especially in the application of a humanistic approach to assist individuals experiencing emotional crises in the family context.

Abstract

Discipline is a positive and constructive force in shaping children's character related to the environment; the application of disciplinary values must be carried out continuously, to achieve all expected goals. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Islamic value-based group counselling to reduce students' late behaviour. The instrument used in this study was a late behaviour questionnaire. The research was conducted at one of Budi Mulia Utama Senior High School in East Jakarta, with 8 students as the research subject. The design that will be used is one group pretest-posttest design. The results of the t-test data analysis showed that Islamic value-based group counselling was effective in reducing students' late behaviour. The findings in the field show that students' late behaviour has decreased after being given group counselling services. Group counselling is carried out by internalizing Islamic values related to discipline in service content at each stage of its implementation. Cultivating Islamic values builds children's awareness of discipline and values time and forms a responsible character.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the impact of family violence on adolescents based on the results of group counseling on 15-year-old male adolescent subjects. Adolescents who experience verbal and physical violence in the family face major challenges in their emotional and behavioral development with a qualitative approach and case study, data collected through participant observation and in-depth interviews. The findings indicate that violence from parents contributes to identity crises, emotional disturbances, and difficulties in establishing social relationships. Group counseling allows subjects to realize inner wounds, build new hopes, and strengthen emotional regulation. Through a qualitative approach and case study method, this article examines the psychological dynamics that emerge in subjects and the role of counseling in facilitating self-reflection and behavioral change. Group counseling has been shown to provide space for self-expression and reflection, becoming one of the effective approaches in helping psychological recovery.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan panduan praktis dalam menyusun jadwal harian yang efektif sebagai bagian dari manajemen waktu bagi siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa pelatihan pembuatan jadwal harian, observasi, serta wawancara singkat untuk mengevaluasi pemahaman dan dampak penerapan jadwal tersebut pada siswa. Metode yang diterapkan meliputi pemaparan materi mengenai manajemen waktu, praktik langsung penyusunan jadwal harian, serta diskusi kelompok untuk refleksi dan evaluasi hasil. Hasil yang dicapai menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang mengikuti program ini mampu membuat jadwal harian dengan baik, menjadi lebih terorganisir, meningkatkan fokus belajar, serta menunjukkan peningkatan disiplin dan tanggung jawab terhadap aktivitas sehari-hari. Selain itu, siswa melaporkan adanya peningkatan produktivitas, penurunan tingkat stres, dan kemampuan mengatur waktu antara belajar dan aktivitas lainnya secara lebih seimbang. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penyusunan jadwal harian yang efektif, dengan dukungan pelatihan dan bimbingan, berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter dan kebiasaan manajemen waktu yang baik sejak dini.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan Konseling Kelompok dengan menggunakan teknik cognitive restructuring untuk meningkatkan penyesuaian diri siswa SMA Dayah Inshafudin Banda Aceh. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini eksperimen semu dengan one-group pretest-posttest design. Subjek dalam penelitian sebanyak 8 siswa yang memiliki penyesuaian diri rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Skala penyesuaian diri siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyesuaian diri siswa dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan konseling kelompok menggunakan teknik cognitive restructuring, terbukti dari hasil analisis data menggunakan uji beda wilcoxon, dari hasil pretest dan posttest diperoleh (-2.51<0.05). walaupun pada uji one way Anova menunjukkan nilai sig. (.949>0,05) yang berarti tidak ada perbedaan secara signifikan tingkat penyesuaian diri siswa pada pre-test dan post-test kelompok penelitian. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah penyesuaian diri siswa dapat ditingkatkan dengan layanan konseling kelompok menggunakan teknik cognitive restructuring dan konseling kelompok dengan menggunakan teknik cognitive restructuring terbukti efekti untuk meningkatkan penyesuaian diri siswa walaupun pada uji one way anava peningkatannya tidak signifikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penerimaan diri siswa di Sekolah Menengah Pertama melalui konseling kelompok behavioral. Masalah yang dihadapi adalah mengenai penerimaan diri di kalangan siswa dan berdampak negatif pada kesejahteraan psikologis dan sosial mereka. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperiment dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain. Populasi terdiri dari 99 siswa pada kelas VIII. Kemudian dipilih lima sampel untuk melakukan konseling kelompok. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan observasi di dalam sesi konseling kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan penerimaan diri siswa setelah mengikuti konseling kelompok behavioral. Pendekatan behavioral efektif untuk meningkatkan penerimaan diri siswa. Teknik penguatan dalam konseling kelompok di lingkungan SMP masih belum banyak diterapkan dalam penelitian sebelumnya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning interest and self-efficacy on learning achievement. The population used is all students of class IX, with a sampling technique using random sampling of 72 students. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire and then analyzed with descriptive statistics. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of interest in learning on learning achievement based on the partial test of 5.067> 2.291 with a significant 0.000 < 0.05, it can be said to be significant, there is also an effect of self-efficacy on learning achievement, with the test results showing a partial test of 3.659> 2.291 with a significant 0.000 < 0.05, it can be said that it is also significant, then interest in learning and efficacy also have a significant effect simultaneously (together) on student achievement of 51,489 > 3.127. The value of R Square is 0.599 or 59.9% and the remaining 0.41 or 40.1% is influenced by other variables outside the variables of interest in learning and self-efficacy. Such as learning motivation, learning facilities, teacher communication skills, family environment, and students' emotional intelligence.
