Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kehadiran Komunitas Muslim di Desa Pegayaman dan Desa Kampung Gelgel Provinsi Bali sejak abad ke-14 yang secara langsung berbaur serta mendapat pengaruh dari budaya Hindu. Dari sinilah terjadi akulturasi dan asimilasi yang menjadi fokus penelitian sebagai bagian dari budaya ber-arsitektur masyarakat kedua desa tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap fungsi, estetika, dan makna yang terlihat pada akulturasi dan asimilasi, baik pada bangunan ibadah, rumah, maupun fasilitas lainnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan akulturatif, sedangkan proses penelitian dilakukan dengan cara pengukuran objektif berdasarkan observasi artefak arsitektur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa akulturasi Islam dan Hindu terlihat pada arsitektur di Desa Pegayaman dan Desa Kampung Gelgel berupa: (1) Mahkota atau mudra sebagai hiasan pada puncak atap yang mempunyai makna kekuasaan serta kewibawaan; (2) Bebaturan atau sendi bermakna sebagai landasan hidup dan kehidupan manusia; (3) Pepatran atau simbar memiliki makna keagungan dan kehormatan. Asimilasi terlihat pada pola permukiman kedua desa: (1) Desa Pegayaman menggunakan ngerebong; (2) Desa Kampung Gelgel menggunakan maputer-puter. Kedua pola ini memiliki ciri khas berupa banyaknya persimpangan atau pertemuan pada setiap ujung jalannya (jalan yang betemu dengan gang). Berdasarkan hal itulah, maka kedua pola itu disebut pola ‘labirin’. Pola ini merupakan pengembangan dari bentuk ‘pempatan agung’ yang ada pada konsep Arsitektur Tradisional Bali. Akulturasi dan asimilasi di Desa Pegayaman dan Desa Kampung Gelgel dipengaruhi oleh konsep menyama braya, nyama slam, serta nyama hindu.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to understand the roles, trends, and development of research in entrepreneurship education.  The method used is bibliometric analysis with the help of tools such as OpenRefine, VOSViewer, MS Excel, and Bibliometrix. These tools were used to analyze document distribution per year across different countries, institutions, journals, authors, topic trends, and keyword co-occurrences. The search was conducted on August 10, 2024, the literature search was conducted by entering words based on the title, abstract and keywords "education" AND "entrepreneurship", with restrictions in the data search, namely for the type of document in the form of research journal articles from 2016 to 2024 with limited criteria, data was obtained as much as 2,592 documents.The results of this study show a growth in the publication of articles on entrepreneurship education over the past nine years, with an average annual increase of more than fifteen percent. However, a decline was observed in 2019-2020. China is the most productive country in publishing articles related to entrepreneurship education, while the most productive institution is Universitas Negeri Jakarta from Indonesia. The top journal in this field is Education and Training Journal. Author co-occurrence analysis reveals two major networks of authors, led by Wibowo A and Wang J, respectively. Based on the data collected, the most frequently appearing keywords are "entrepreneurship" and "entrepreneurship education."  The latest topic trends related to entrepreneurship education include terms such as "innovation and entrepreneurship education,” "innovation and entrepreneurship," and "evaluation models.” Innovation and evaluation models become the current trend in this research area. This study can be useful for identifying research gaps regarding the development and implementation of entrepreneurship education, with the latest trends focusing on innovation and evaluation models.  Based on the data search, further comprehensive studies on the integration of entrepreneurship education, vocational education, and digital technology are needed.  According to the analyzed Scopus metadata, research on the integration of these fields is still very limited.

Abstract

Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) has become essential in vocational education for bridging academic learning with workplace experience. This systematic review analyzes 61 articles on WIL frameworks published between 2019-2024 using the PRISMA protocol. The analysis identifies five main types of WIL frameworks: Competency-Based Framework (focusing on industry-relevant competencies), Integrated Evaluation Framework (emphasizing comprehensive assessment), Industry-Academic Collaborative Framework (developing effective institutional-industry partnerships), Technology-Enhanced WIL Framework (utilizing technology to expand learning experiences), and Field-Specific Pedagogical Framework (tailoring approaches to specific disciplines). Publication trends show significant growth in WIL framework research, with a peak of 17 articles in 2024, reflecting increasing recognition of work-based learning's importance. The review reveals several research gaps, including limited investigation of technology integration's long-term impact, need for multi-stakeholder evaluation approaches, frameworks that effectively combine various WIL modalities, limited understanding of cross-disciplinary framework transferability, and frameworks that systematically incorporate evolving workforce demands. These findings provide direction for future WIL framework development and implementation, Contributing to more effective integration of academic learning with practical work experience in vocational education, these findings provide valuable direction for the future development and implementation of Work-Integrated Learning frameworks.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine research trends in gastrodiplomacy culinary in Indonesia through a literary review and bibliometric analysis. VOSviewer mapping was used to analyze bibliometric data on Indonesian gastrodiplomacy culinary research. A reference manager application was utilized to collect research data.The study covers literature from 2012 to 2022, revealing that the highest number of gastrodiplomacy studies was conducted in 2021. The analysis also indicates a direct relationship between gastronomy tourism and gastrodiplomacy culinary, primarily linked through thematic terms and country-specific contexts. Furthermore, this study highlights the role of vocational education in Indonesian gastrodiplomacy. Vocational education plays a crucial role in equipping culinary professionals with the skills and cultural knowledge necessary to represent Indonesia’s rich gastronomic heritage on the global stage. By integrating gastrodiplomacy concepts into vocational training programs, culinary students can gain expertise in traditional food preparation, presentation, and cross-cultural communication. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a reference for future researchers exploring the intersection of vocational education, gastronomy tourism, and gastrodiplomacy. Vocational education can actively aid in the global promotion of Indonesian cuisine by providing learners with hands-on skills and cultural insights essential for showcasing this food internationally. This bolsters Indonesia’s efforts in gastrodiplomacy and amplifies its culinary identity on the global platform.

Abstract

Samarinda Seberang is a historical area in East Kalimantan that has historical value and spirit of place, reflected in the existence of rumah adat Kampung Tenun, masjid Shirathal Mustaqiem, and langgar Al Washielah. Modernization poses challenges to the sustainability of cultural heritage that forms the identity of the Samarinda Seberang urban area. This research aims to formulate a preservation strategy based on the Historic Urban Landscape (HUL) approach through a multi-aspect analysis (history, basic physical conditions, demographics and economy, and socio-culture), analysis of challenges and opportunities, and formulation of a preservation vision and proposal. Data collection of area morphology and visual interpretation of architectural elements became the basis of this research. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, with field observation techniques, purposive sampling interviews, and literature studies from government archives and local history sources. The results show that the application of HUL is effective in understanding the relationship between urban morphology and social and cultural structures, as well as providing direction for preservation actions. Recommendations in the form of preservation, reconstruction, restoration, and adaptative-reuse strategies for langgar Al Washielah can be the first step for the preservation of the Samarinda Seberang and the basis for the proposed cultural heritage preservation policy in Samarinda.

Abstract

Penyediaan Tempat Khusus Merokok (TKM) merupakan solusi penting untuk mengatasi dampak negatif merokok terhadap kesehatan masyarakat, lingkungan, dan harmoni sosial. Penelitian ini mengkaji pendekatan arsitektural dalam desain TKM yang berkelanjutan, estetis, dan fungsional sesuai dengan regulasi Kawasan Tanpa Rokok (KTR). Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan analisis multi-kriteria mencakup kesehatan publik, keberlanjutan lingkungan, kepatuhan terhadap regulasi, estetika, dan harmoni sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain TKM yang ideal harus mengintegrasikan teknologi hijau seperti sistem pemurnian udara berbasis filter HEPA dan karbon aktif, teknologi upcycling limbah puntung rokok, serta sistem pembayaran otomatis berbasis data biometrik untuk mengontrol distribusi rokok. Desain estetis yang mencerminkan budaya lokal dan penggunaan material ramah lingkungan turut meningkatkan penerimaan sosial. Studi ini juga menyoroti potensi penggunaan dana hasil cukai tembakau dan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) dari industri rokok untuk mendanai pembangunan TKM dan kampanye kesehatan. Tantangan yang diidentifikasi mencakup persepsi negatif masyarakat, keterbatasan anggaran, dan koordinasi lintas sektor yang perlu ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan arsitektural yang komprehensif dapat menciptakan TKM yang tidak hanya melindungi kesehatan publik dan lingkungan, tetapi juga mendukung harmoni sosial yang lebih baik. Rekomendasi meliputi penguatan regulasi, pendanaan berkelanjutan, peningkatan kesadaran publik, dan integrasi teknologi modern untuk mendukung pengelolaan fasilitas yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the design principles of child-friendly vocational schools, describe the architectural conditions of the facilities and infrastructure in Jakarta 1 State Vocational School, and explain their suitability based on the design principles of child-friendly vocational schools. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques in this research use observation and documentation. The object of this research is the facilities and infrastructure of Jakarta 1 State Vocational School in the scope of a general learning room, a supporting learning room, and a specific learning room for construction and property engineering expertise. The final result explains that the architectural conditions of the facilities and infrastructure in Jakarta 1 State Vocational School are very suitable following the design principles of a child-friendly vocational school, including safety, health, comfort, easiness, and security requirements. The final suitability score is 74.5%. The most suitable assessment is on the Safety criteria, while the lowest is on the Comfort criteria.
