Abstract

Komunikasi al-Qur’an sebagai salah satu kajian dengan berbagai variannya telah banyak dilakukan oleh para ilmuan komunikasi yang memiliki background ilmu keislaman. Namun demikian kajian komunikasi antar-budaya perspektif Al-Qur’an belum banyak dilakukan para ilmuan komunikasi. Atas dasat itulah tulisan ini menjadi urgen dan memiliki ciri khas tersendiri dibanding karya lainnya. Karya ini mencoba melakukan eksplorasi teori dan konsep komunikasi antar-budaya menurut ilmuan barat, konsep komunikasi antar-budaya menurut ilmuan muslim atau ilmu al-Qur’an, dan berikutnya akan dikaji korelasi atau hubungan keduanya. Kajian komunikasi antarbudaya perspektif al-Qur’an ini sebenarnya merupakan bagian dari kajian komunikasi lainnya dengan sudut pandang al-Qur’an sebagai critical thinkingnya. Dalam kajian komunikasi dengan berbagai variannya dalam perspektif al-Qur’an dikenal istilah komunikologi al-Qur’an yaitu sebuah upaya mengkaji berbagai bidang keilmuan komunikasi perspektif al-Qur’an. Hasil riset keilmuan komunikasi antar-budaya perspektif al-Qur’an ini menghasilkan temuan perbedaan, persamaan dan keterkaitan menurut konsep al-Qur’an dan menurut para ahli barat. Pertama, konsep al-Qur’an dimulai dari hakekat manusia diciptakan di bumi yaitu untuk saling mengenal (komunikasi) antar sesama manusia, baik berlatar belakang agama, suku, bangsa, etnik, ras, jenis kelamin dan sebagainya. Kedua, konsep barat lebih menekankan pada pemahaman latar belakang budaya seseorang ketika berkomunikasi agar ada kesepahaman bersama. Ketiga, keterkaitan konsep al-Qur’an dan konsep barat atau ilmuan komunikasi adalah kedua konsep sama-sama memiliki penekanan pentingnya memahami budaya yang berbeda untuk mencapai tujuan hidup, yaitu sebagai khalifah di bumi.

Abstract

Bonek Mania and the Jak Mania are two very fanatical football supporter communities in Indonesia. They have different variations of jargon that reflect the identity of the community. Several factors influence the variations in jargon language. This research aims to describe the jargon of Bonek Mania and the Jak Mania football supporters, including analyzing the forms, meanings, and function of its uses and the factors of jargon differences between them. In this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive method. The data collected by the researchers consists of words or terms in units of words, phrases, sentences, and acronyms. The collection of jargon is obtained from communication between football supporters Bok Mania and Jak Mania on social media comments on Instagram posts, @officialpersebaya account, and @persija account, and when researchers tribunal directly at the stadium. The results of this study indicate that the jargon used by Bok Mania and the Jak Mania supporters both tend to function to encourage and criticize their respective teams. In terms of form, the jargon used by Bonek Mania supporters combines Javanese and Arabic, although there is also English. Meanwhile, the jargon used by the Jak Mania supporters tends to combine Indonesian and English. Several factors influence these differences, including social and environmental factors, regional language, club logos and nicknames, and local cultural culture. This research can be used as a reference for the general public who wants to know the purpose, function, and factors behind the variations in the jargon of bonek mania and the jak mania.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji nama-nama sate di Jawa Timur dari perspektif semantik untuk mengungkap makna dan nilai-nilai sosial budaya yang terkandung di dalamnya. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini menganalisis 22 nama sate yang diperoleh melalui observasi lapangan dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penamaan sate di Jawa Timur dapat diklasifikasikan berdasarkan keserupaan, plesetan, sifat khas, bahan, dan inovasi. Makna di balik nama-nama tersebut mencerminkan kearifan lokal, kreativitas linguistik, dan nilai-nilai sosial budaya masyarakat Jawa Timur. Analisis semantik mengungkapkan bahwa nama-nama sate tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai penanda kuliner, tetapi juga sebagai representasi identitas, humor, dan filosofi masyarakat setempat. Lebih lanjut, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa penamaan sate sering kali mengandung unsur metafora yang menggambarkan karakteristik hidangan atau konteks sosial budayanya. Keberagaman strategi penamaan yang ditemukan juga mencerminkan adaptabilitas bahasa dan budaya Jawa Timur dalam menghadapi perubahan dan inovasi kuliner, sambil tetap mempertahankan identitas lokal. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting tentang bagaimana bahasa, khususnya dalam penamaan kuliner, dapat menjadi cerminan dinamika sosial dan budaya suatu masyarakat, serta berkontribusi pada pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang hubungan antara bahasa, makanan, dan identitas budaya.

Abstract

Bullying is like a poison that slowly destroys the future of the younger generation. This behavior is not just a joke or prank, but an emotional wound that can leave deep scars for life. In Indonesia, bullying cases are still a serious problem, with data from the Indonesian Child Protection Commission and the Indonesian Teachers Union Federation showing a significant increase from 2020 to 2023. In 2023, the highest percentage of bullying cases was recorded at the junior high school level. This situation confirms that bullying cases continue to increase and require a quick response and collaboration from various parties to prevent it. This study aims to explore the effect of an innovative model that integrates the Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model with an audiovisual-based reciprocal teaching style in minimizing bullying behavior in male and female students. The method used was a pre-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design. A total of 30 students from one class VIII became the research sample. Data collection used a questionnaire based on the Olweus Bully/Victim Questionnaire (OBVQ) consisting of 23 items, covering three dimensions of bullying, namely verbal (8 items), physical (7 items), and non-verbal/non-physical (8 items). Descriptive analysis, prerequisite tests (normality and homogeneity), and parametric paired sample t-test. The results of the study showed that the descriptive analysis and Paired Sample T-Test showed that the intervention given was effective in reducing bullying behavior in male and female students. A more significant decrease occurred in male students, who were likely more responsive to the intervention than female students. These results confirm that the implementation of the NHT-type cooperative learning model with an audiovisual-based reciprocal style is effective in reducing bullying behavior in the learning process environment. This study provides an important contribution to the development of bullying prevention strategies among students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji konvergensi media yang dilakukan oleh Radio Suara Muslim Surabaya dalam upayanya merebut pendengar dari kalangan Generasi Z. Konvergensi media merujuk pada integrasi berbagai bentuk media komunikasi ke dalam satu platform digital yang dipicu oleh kemajuan teknologi digital dan jaringan komunikasi. Radio Suara Muslim Surabaya mengimplementasikan strategi konvergensi media dengan menggabungkan siaran radio teristrial dan live streaming melalui platform media sosial seperti Youtube, Instagram dan TikTok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana Radio Suara Muslim Surabaya mengadopsi konvergensi media serta mengevaluasi efektivitas strategi tersebut dalam menarik perhatian pendengar muda di era digital. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan analisis konten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konvergensi media yang dilakukan oleh Radio Suara Muslim Surabaya efektif dalam meningkatkan interaksi dan keterlibatan audiens, serta mampu memenuhi kebutuhan informasi Generasi Z yang lebih menyukai konten singkat, interaktif, dan visual. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mengenai pentingnya adaptasi media konvensional terhadap perubahan teknologi dan perilaku audiens untuk tetap relevan dan kompetitif di lanskap media modern.

Abstract

Healthy living habits are critical for optimal quality of life, yet schools often fall short in instilling these practices effectively. This study investigates the impact of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on enhancing healthy living behaviors among fourth-grade students in PJOK (Physical Education, Sports, and Health) classes. Utilizing Classroom Action Research, this study was conducted over two cycles, each with phases of planning, action, observation, and reflection, involving 27 students from SD Negeri 5 Sungai Ulin. The data were collected through student worksheets, interviews, observations, and performance tests, focusing on essential healthy habits: physical activity, balanced nutrition, rest, and productive use of free time. Findings indicate a substantial improvement, with 70% of students meeting criteria in cycle I, escalating to 89% by cycle II. The study concludes that integrating the PjBL model in PJOK subjects significantly fosters students' healthy living behaviors, demonstrating that active, project-based approaches can effectively instill essential health practices from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the obstacles experienced by physical education teachers in implementing exercise habits as part of the 7 Great Indonesian Children's Habits program at the elementary school level of Banjarbaru City. The research approach used is a mixed method with a sequential explanatory design, namely the collection of quantitative data first through a Likert scale questionnaire to 18 physical education teachers, then followed by in-depth interviews with 16 teachers who experienced the most dominant obstacles. The results of the quantitative analysis show that most of the 9 physical education teachers face obstacles in the medium category with a percentage 50%, with the main obstacles being a lack of facilities and facilities, low student participation, and lack of support from families. Meanwhile, qualitative data confirm that although teacher motivation is quite high, the implementation of monitoring sports activities and the use of supporting technology is still limited. The conclusions of this study emphasize the importance of collaboration between teachers, schools, parents, and the government in supporting the program. Efforts to increase teacher capacity through training, provision of adequate sports facilities, and the integration of sports habits into the curriculum and overall school culture are the main recommendations. The results of this research are expected to be used as a basis for consideration in designing strategic policies to strengthen character education through sustainable physical activities in the elementary school environment.

Abstract

This research aims to describe quantitatively and qualitatively the types, frequency, causes, and handling of sports injuries in PS Kab Tapin football athletes. The research method used is a survey with multiple-choice questionnaires and open-ended questions distributed to 20 athletes, as well as structured interviews with 10 athletes who have a history of ankle injuries. Quantitative data are analyzed descriptively, while qualitative data are analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that all athletes (100%) have experienced injuries, with ankle injuries being the most common type (50%). The main factors causing injuries are collisions with other players (35%) and misstep when landing (30%).  Injury management is most often carried out by the club's medical team (80%), and the dominant injury prevention is primary prevention (95%). In-depth interviews reveal that ankle injuries often occur due to match activities, with symptoms of pain, swelling, and bruising. The initial management applied by the majority of athletes is the RICE method (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) and consultation with a physiotherapist. The conclusion of this study is that ankle injuries are a major issue faced by PS Kab Tapin football athletes, with a high incidence and the risk of recurrence. Prevention through warming up, muscle strengthening, and the use of protective equipment is highly recommended to reduce the incidence of injuries. Proper management and consistent rehabilitation are required to expedite recovery and prevent long-term complications.

Abstract

Penguasaan teknik renang gaya dada sering menjadi tantangan bagi perenang pemula karena memerlukan koordinasi kompleks antara gerakan tangan, kaki, dan pernapasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas metode resiprokal berbasis drill dalam meningkatkan keterampilan tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Olahraga model Kemmis dan McTaggart, dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing tiga pertemuan latihan dan satu evaluasi. Subjek penelitian adalah 8 perenang pemula Murakata Swimming Club Barabai yang dipilih secara purposive. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi keterampilan teknik renang gaya dada dengan tujuh indikator, mengacu pada Tantri & Mashud (2023), telah diuji validitas isi oleh ahli renang dan reliabilitasnya memenuhi kriteria (>0,80). Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif berdasarkan rata-rata nilai dan persentase ketuntasan belajar (KKM ≥75, target ≥80% tuntas). Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan ketuntasan dari 37,5% pada siklus I menjadi 87,5% pada siklus II, dengan rata-rata nilai meningkat dari 69,25 menjadi 80,62. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kombinasi drill repetitif dan umpan balik sejawat dalam metode resiprokal efektif mempercepat penguasaan teknik gaya dada. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan melibatkan sampel lebih besar, desain eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol, serta pengujian pada gaya renang lain untuk menguji konsistensi efektivitas metode resiprokal berbasis drill.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) in order to synthesize the literature and formulate a physical education learning model to improve junior high school students’ flexibility in floor exercises. The method used is a systematic literature review based on the analysis of six selected relevant journal articles. The process involved extracting key findings related to the importance of flexibility, learning challenges faced by junior high school students, the effectiveness of teaching methods and styles, as well as the influence of motivation. The synthesis results confirm that flexibility is crucial for floor exercise movements (such as backbends and forward rolls), and that junior high school students face both physical and psychological challenges. The literature highlights the effectiveness of various approaches, such as the use of media, practice style, and peer tutoring, along with the importance of motivation. These findings provide the conceptual foundation for designing the model. The conclusion of this study is that the synthesis of SLR findings offers a solid basis for formulating an adaptive and effective learning model to improve junior high school students’ flexibility in floor exercises through a comprehensive approach that considers both physical and psychological aspects.
