Abstract

Smash accuracy is one of the key factors in badminton performance. To analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of various training methods in improving smash accuracy among badminton athletes. A systematic literature review was conducted using the PICO framework and PRISMA guidelines with predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Article searches were performed on Google Scholar using keywords related to training methods and badminton smash accuracy. After the screening process, 11 articles met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Among the 11 reviewed articles, drill training methods demonstrated the highest consistency in improving smash accuracy in badminton athletes. Eight articles explicitly showed that drill methods had positive and significant effects on smash accuracy. Variations of drill methods such as V-Drill technique, drills with specific targets, and integrated training models also proved effective. Comparative analysis between methods revealed that more focused and targeted approaches (such as directional smash training and drilling methods compared to target games) tended to be more effective than complex methods. Drill training methods represent the gold standard for improving smash accuracy in badminton athletes, with consistent effectiveness across various age groups and skill levels. Future research should investigate the effectiveness of these methods on elite athletes and conduct longitudinal studies to understand long-term skill retention.

Abstract

Study purpose. This study aims to prove that the integration of the PjBL models with the inclusive teaching style can improve the underhand service volleyball skills. Materials and methods. The research used classroom action research methods. The research design uses the model from Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which consists of 4 stages, namely 1.) Planning, 2.) Implementation of action, 3.) Observation and 4.) Reflection. The research subjects were students of class X A SMA Negeri 1 Salam Babaris with a total of 27 people consisting of 13 boys and 14 girls. Results. Collecting data using quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results of the observation data stated that there was an increase through two cycles. Preliminary observation data shows that 37.04% complete and 68.96% incomplete, then cycle I observation data shows that 59.26% complete and 40.74% incomplete, followed by cycle II observation data shows that 85.18% complete and 14.82% incomplete and has achieved the minimum completeness criterion , namely 80% with KKM 75. Conclusions. It can be proven that the integration of the PjBL models with the inclusive teaching style can improve the underhand service volleyball skills.

Abstract

Penguasaan teknik renang gaya dada sering menjadi tantangan bagi perenang pemula karena memerlukan koordinasi kompleks antara gerakan tangan, kaki, dan pernapasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas metode resiprokal berbasis drill dalam meningkatkan keterampilan tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Olahraga model Kemmis dan McTaggart, dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing tiga pertemuan latihan dan satu evaluasi. Subjek penelitian adalah 8 perenang pemula Murakata Swimming Club Barabai yang dipilih secara purposive. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi keterampilan teknik renang gaya dada dengan tujuh indikator, mengacu pada Tantri & Mashud (2023), telah diuji validitas isi oleh ahli renang dan reliabilitasnya memenuhi kriteria (>0,80). Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif berdasarkan rata-rata nilai dan persentase ketuntasan belajar (KKM ≥75, target ≥80% tuntas). Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan ketuntasan dari 37,5% pada siklus I menjadi 87,5% pada siklus II, dengan rata-rata nilai meningkat dari 69,25 menjadi 80,62. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kombinasi drill repetitif dan umpan balik sejawat dalam metode resiprokal efektif mempercepat penguasaan teknik gaya dada. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan melibatkan sampel lebih besar, desain eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol, serta pengujian pada gaya renang lain untuk menguji konsistensi efektivitas metode resiprokal berbasis drill.

Abstract

Penelitian sebelumnya masih belum menganalisis tentang penggunaan frasa nomina, frasa adjektiva, dan frasa verba pada media kompas.id. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk penggunaan frasa nomina, frasa adjektiva, dan frasa verba pada media kompas.id. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah media berita daring kompas.id. Data dalam penelitian adalah 46 kalimat yang terdapat pada artikel kompas.id dengan judul siasat pemimpin hamas menghindari pelacakan israel edisi 11 Desember 2023. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode simak dan teknik catat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan didalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil peneltian menunjukka frasa nomina terdiri dari 21 frasa ditemukan dalam 16 kalimat. Frasa adjektiva ditemukan pada 3 kalimat. Frasa verba terdiri dari 44 frasa yang ditemukan dalam 30 kalimat. Kata Kunci: Sintaksis, frasa, linguistik, kompas.id

Abstract

Forensic linguistics research in Indonesia has experienced significant development. Based on 200 articles from Google Scholar and processed using VosViewer, forensic linguistics research examines many cases of insult, defamation, good, hearing, regulation, and blasphemy. So, the research analyzes the threats in Sampang Madura. This research aims to describe the linguistic features in the case of threatening criminal offense in Sampang Madura. The research used a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques using documentation techniques. The data source in this research is obtained from the official website of the Supreme Court (https://putusan3.mahkamahagung.go.id/direktori.html). The data in the research is the Decision of Sampang District Court Number 126/Pid.B/2014/PN Spg. The researcher used a note-taking technique to collect language containing threatening elements. To analyze the data, the researcher used the theoretical approaches of pragmatics, sociolinguistics, and systemics functional. The results showed that the use of language in the case of criminal acts of threatening in Sampang Madura fulfills the elements of threatening as stated in Article 89 of the Criminal Law Code (KHUP). The perpetrator has violated four principles of cooperation, namely, maxim of quantity, maxim of quality, maxim of relevance, and maxim of manner. In addition, the situation of the conversation is informal because the perpetrator and the victim use an informal language style. The cultural register is found in the word “carok” which shows that the perpetrator is an ethnic Madurese himself. Based on the metafunctional meaning, the perpetrator deliberately intends to threaten the victim because there is a mental process (desire) to finish off the victim's life. in terms of interpersonal language, the perpetrator does use the utterance “Kamu ini apa mau carok ya sama saya? (Do you want to carok with me?)” in interrogative mode; however, in terms of modality, the utterance is declarative.

Abstract

Background: Big Data Analytics (BDA) is urgently needed in Indonesian sports to improve evidence-based decision-making, athlete development, and organizational management. While BDA has transformed global sports through data-driven insights, its application in Indonesia remains limited and fragmented. The absence of integrated analytics between athlete performance and organizational quality management hinders the creation of sustainable, long-term development systems. Aims: This study investigates how BDA can enhance athlete development and organizational management by analyzing multidimensional data from athletes, coaches, referees, and sports infrastructures. It also aims to identify dominant predictors of athlete performance across various sports and to evaluate the quality management practices of the National Sports Committee of Indonesia (NSCI). Methods: A mixed-methods sequential explanatory design was applied. The quantitative phase involved 67 athletes from six sports: football, table tennis, weightlifting, pencak silat, basketball, and karate at the Sport Training Center. Data on anthropometry, fitness, and achievements were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ANOVA, Chi-Square, and regression tests. The qualitative phase involved interviews and observations with 8–12 stakeholders, while organizational quality was assessed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test. Result: Results revealed significant performance differences among sports (F = 4.927, p = 0.001). Each sport had unique dominant predictors: VO₂ max and anthropometry (soccer), agility (table tennis), muscle strength (weightlifting), endurance and height (basketball), and speed (karate). NSCI’s organizational analysis showed substantial deficiencies in management, facilities, and procedures (p < 0.001). Conclusion: This study confirms that BDA is crucial in advancing sustainable sports development. By identifying sport-specific performance predictors and systemic weaknesses, BDA provides a scientific foundation for designing targeted training, improving organizational quality, and building adaptive, data-driven sports ecosystems in Indonesia. The findings highlight the urgent need for national sports bodies to institutionalize BDA as part of long-term strategic planning.

Abstract

Sektor usaha pastry dan bakery merupakan bagian penting dari UMKM yang memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap perekonomian nasional. Namun, masih banyak pelaku usaha yang menghadapi keterbatasan dalam pemanfaatan teknologi digital, terutama dalam penerapan strategi pemasaran berbasis Artificial Intelligence (AI). Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital, keterampilan pemasaran, dan kepercayaan diri pelaku usaha pastry dan bakery dalam mengadopsi teknologi AI sebagai alat promosi yang efektif. Kegiatan dilaksanakan bersama komunitas UMKM Skill Up Rise Up di Makassar melalui tahapan sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi berbasis learning by doing. Peserta dilatih menggunakan ChatGPT untuk copywriting, Canva AI untuk desain visual, serta Meta Ads Manager untuk membuat iklan digital tertarget. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan literasi digital sebesar 82% berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test, peningkatan kemampuan produksi konten hingga 95% peserta mampu menghasilkan minimal sepuluh konten promosi, serta 90% peserta berhasil menyusun editorial calendar selama satu bulan. Selain itu, 85% peserta aktif menggunakan media sosial bisnis mereka, sementara 70% mulai mengelola iklan digital berbayar. Dampak program ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan teknis, tetapi juga memperkuat kemandirian dan keberlanjutan promosi digital berbasis AI. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi teknologi AI merupakan strategi penting untuk memperkuat daya saing dan keberlanjutan usaha UMKM di era digital.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the direct instruction learning model combined with visual media in improving the learning outcomes of specific forward rolls in seventh-grade junior high school students. Through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, the author identified, evaluated, and synthesized relevant research results published in the last five years (2020–2024) using Google Scholar and Crossref databases. The search strategy was based on the PICO method and literature selection using the PRISMA flow. A total of seven articles were analyzed qualitatively. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the application of direct instruction had a real impact on improving basic motor skills, especially when combined with the use of visual media such as demonstrative video displays, movement animations, and gradually arranged image illustrations. These findings reinforce the importance of explicit and multimodal learning strategies in physical education.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically analyze and synthesize various research findings regarding the effectiveness of circuit training models on improving sickle kick skills in pencak silat. The approach used was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), with data sources from Google Scholar and Crossref for the period 2019–2024. Article selection was carried out using the PRISMA method, and analysis was carried out using the PICO approach. The results of the review of 8 research articles showed that circuit training consistently improved leg muscle strength, agility, and accuracy of sickle kick techniques. The implications of these findings support the integration of circuit training into the physical training program of pencak silat athletes at the regional level, including Balangan Regency.

Abstract

Background: Physical literacy (PL) is internationally recognised as a foundational concept in physical education, supporting lifelong engagement in physical activity. However, how PL is conceptualised, assessed, and implemented within Indonesian school contexts remains unclear, and no systematic synthesis of existing national research has been conducted. Objective: This study aimed to systematically review and synthesise empirical research on physical literacy in Indonesia, with particular attention to conceptual frameworks, assessment approaches, and implementation practices in school-aged populations. Methods:  A PRISMA-guided systematic literature review was conducted using Scopus, PubMed, OpenAlex, Semantic Scholar, DOAJ, and Garuda databases. Studies published between 2020 and 2024 were screened, yielding 5,056 records, of which 20 met the inclusion criteria. Data were analysed using narrative synthesis across key thematic domains. Finding/Results: Most studies focused on primary school students and conceptualised physical literacy primarily through fundamental motor skills. Multidimensional PL frameworks encompassing motivation, confidence, knowledge, and lifelong engagement were rarely applied. Assessment methods were highly heterogeneous and lacked standardised, culturally adapted instruments. Although school-based interventions demonstrated short-term improvements in motor competence and physical activity, broader affective and cognitive dimensions of PL were largely neglected. Key challenges included limited teacher understanding of PL and the absence of explicit integration within the national curriculum. Conclusion: Physical literacy research in Indonesia remains fragmented and predominantly skill-oriented, with limited alignment to holistic PL principles. There is a clear need for culturally relevant frameworks, validated assessment tools, and strengthened teacher professional development. Future research should adopt comprehensive PL models and examine long-term, multidimensional interventions to better support children’s physical, cognitive, and affective development.
