Abstract

The shape of narrow eyes generally makes the owner feel unconfident about the shape of her eyes. To make eye shape look proportional then needed some correction of eye shape using eyeliner, scotch tape, and false eyelashes to form eye to look proportional and make the bride more confident and to make the makeup look good at the day. This research aims to analyze the influence of correction the shape of narrow eyes on bridal makeup to predefined university students assessed in terms of, eye size, eyelid crease, and eyelash shape.This research uses quasi experimental method with design (non Equivalent Control Group Design) The object of this study is the shape of narrow eyes. The population in this study is the student of Padang State University aged 18-22 years, have the same criteria, the sampling taken through Purposive Samplingg technique conducted in voolunteer with sampels of 3 people. The data collected from this research in the form of primary data obtained directly from the sample of research data collected were analyzed using descriptive analysis, the test of analysis requirements using Normality Test and Homogeneity Test, Test Analysis of Variance (ANAVA) and Duncan Test.Based on the results of the data, proving the correction of the form of narrow eyes on the bridal makeup without using eyeliner, scotch tape, and false eyelashes in the control group did not show a better result change for experimental group using eyeliner and scotch tape. Using eyeliner, scotch tape, and false eyelashes showed significant results on eye size, eyelid folds, and eyelashes. Differences in the effect of spiky eye correction on bridal makeup between leagues treated group showed significant result with α 0,000, because 0,000 < 0,050 then the hypothesis is accepted and then proceed with Duncan test showing significantly different group. Suggested of using eyeliner, scotch tape, and false eyelashes in the correction of the shape of narrow eyes to make the makeup more perfect.Keyword : The Shape of Narrow Eyes, Bridal Makeup3

Abstract

The bun sanggul lipek pandan fading as a traditional bun of Minangkabau, a challenge for researchers to retrace the history of this bun. This research was qualitative historical. The object of this study is the bun lipek pandan, the informants of this study are the people who know about bun sanggul lipek pandan. The techniques of the data collection in this study by using observation, interviews, documentation and technical data triangulation data analysis and data reduction. The results of this study was found that the bun lipek pandan. Lipek pandan malacuik kuduak for Regional Tanah Datar. The bun lipek pandan sunting tusuk(skewers) for coastal regions(region wearing sunting tusuk).Kata kunci : Studi, Sanggul Tradisional, Lipek Pandans

Abstract

This research is begun from many changes that happened in the bridegroom’s clothing and makeup in the wedding procession in Payakumbuh. The goal of this research is to describe the bridegroom’s makeup from the makeup artists in Kenagarian Koto Nan Gadang Payakumbuh. This research is a descriptive research by using qualitative approach. The data collecting techniques used in this research are observation, interview and documentation. To obtain a valid and reliable data, the researcher doing data validity check such as participation extension, observation persistence, triangulation, peer checking and auditing. After the research is completed, the researcher discovers the Bridegroom’s makeup in Payakumbuh from the makeup artists in Kenagarian Koto Nan Gadang, Payakumbuh, West Sumatera, they are: 1) the makeup process of the Bridegroom in Koto Nan Gadang is different, started from applying foundation, eyebrow shaping, eye shadow smearing, nose shading, applying blush-on and lipstick smearing. 2) The clothes style for the bridegroom in Koto Nan Gadang is difference in many ways from the old styles, such as the groom that no longer wearing a coat. 3) The accessories used by the bridegroom is so different from the accessories they used in the old days, where dukuah kaba, and rago-rago are no longer used by the bridegroom. 4) Almost all of the makeup artists do not fully understand the old bridegroom’s clothes style and the meaning in each part of those clothes.Key words: observation, Bridegroom Makeup, Koto Nan Gadang

Abstract

The type of the research is qualitative deskriptive research that is corelasional. The population of this study is the students of class XI majoring in hair beauty SMK N 7 Padang that has followed 45 (up style) seting. The sampling tecnique from this research is the total sampling of data collection is by using questionnaire by using skala which is tested the validity. Analysis tecnique of achievment level of respondent with formula percentage of tes requirements analysis by using normality and linieritas test while correlation coefficient analysis using person correlation product moment and for hypothesis test of t test. The results stated that the creativity of students included in the category was with the percentage 71% while the average of student learning outcemes os 73 which states still below KKM. KKM is determinated is 75. The result of correlation analysis obtained r value count of 0,685 with a strong relationship interpretation with a significance value 0,000 <0,05. Ha test accepted suggested to teachers to improve students creativity through efforts to use learning resources and learning strategies that build more and encourage student creativity .Keywords: Creativity, Learning Out Comes, Structuring (Up Style)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see the relationship whether there is information of cosmetic’s advertisements with the attitude of student of 2014 entry year buying the lightening facial cosmetic products of Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality of State University of Padang. This study is quantitativedescriptive correlation. The population in this study is the entire students of Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality of 2014 entry year of the total 243 students and total of the samples are 71 students. The technique of getting the data is using questionnaires with the likert’s scale which has been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis of data is descriptive; analysis is conducted by normalitytest, linear-test, and hypothesis-test with moment product correlation. The result of the study shows that there is a significant relationship with the direction of negative correlation between the information of advertisements and the attitude of students who buy it. The result shows that the information of cosmetic’s advertisements stand on 82% with the high category and attitude of students in buying the lightening facial cosmetics stand in on 60% with low attitude category. Abstract

This research is based on the problem shows that the low employee motivation beauty salon in the District of West Padang that cannot to motivate them self both from the internal and external motivation in the work so that the performance obtained has not reached the standard a beauty salon. This research is aims to show the influence of work motivation on employee’s performance beauty salon Madya classification in work at salon. This research is descriptive-quantitative correlation. The population was the employee beauty salon madya classification of total 47 peoples, the sample of technique is total sampling so that amount same is 47 peoples. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire in the form of Likert scale.Based on analysis, the result of the data is obtained that the work motivation score percentage in the low category of total 61,31%, performance of employees beauty salon in low category of total 64,31%. Both of variables correlate solidly with total 0,743. Ha hypothesis explains that the influence a positive and significance between work motivation on performance beauty salon of employees to college are accepted on significance level of total 95%. The look for result of analysis level determination of given by contribution the work variable motivations is 55,2% to beauty salon employees performance, whereas there are is 44,8% other factor which can not known its contribution to employees performance.Key words: motivation, employees performance, beauty salon

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems related to infrastructure a lot of beauty salon business that is not in accordance with the Regulation of Minister of Health Director General of Nutrition and Maternal and Child Health Number HK.01.01 / BI.4 / 4051/2011 On Implementation Guidelines Beauty Salon. This study aims to examine more deeply about Infrastructures Beauty Salon in Sungai Penuh City. The research method is descriptive quantitative, data are obtained using Guttman scale observation guide. Analysis using the techniques and categorization percentage value. The population is all beauty salon medium classified amounted to 12 salons in the city of Sungai Penuh and the sample is classified as intermediate 7 beauty salon which provides services skin care and hair care. The results showed that the Completeness of equipment skin care equipment can be met is 70.78% with the category of Medium and Completeness of equipment hair care can be met is 70.08% with the Medium category. Completeness of facilities Building that can be filled is 58.16% to the category of Less Good, infrastructure, clean water that can be achieved is 74.6% with moderate category, infrastructure trash can was filled 83.11% with good category, infrastructure toilets that can be met 69.22% Uncategorized medium, and infrastructure safety equipment fulfilled 14.28% very poor category.Key Word : Equipment, Infrastructure, Beauty Salon Business, Sungai Penuh City

Abstract

The background of this research was there were many problems related to face skin surface that was not flat (cikatri face). The problems that emerged such as it was difficult to cover a hole by acne and it did not find the suitable technique thus a hole still appeared clearly. The purpose of this research was to analyze the application of cake foundation of makeup to cikatri. The type of this research was quasi experimental by non equivalent control group design. Object of this research was the woman that has a hole on face that was caused by acne at the age of 18-25 years old. The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique in volunteer sampling of the total 3 people. The results of this research proved that there was a significant influence from all treatment groups that were researched. Based on the result of t-test on experimental 1 (X1) t-count was 2.821 while t-table of provision t-table (0.25,6) = 2.477. Thus it was because t-count > t-table or significant scale 0.03 < 0.05. In experimental 2 t-count was 3.392 while t-table of provision t-table (0.25,6) = 2.477. Thus it was because t-count > t-table or significant scale 0.015 < 0.05. In experimental 3 t-count was 1.141 while t-table of provision t-table (0,25,6)= 2.477. Thus it was because t-count > t-table or significant scale 0.036 < 0.05. The result of t-test showed that group X1 has different significant with group X2 and X3, however group X2 and X3 did not show the significant different result. The good comparison result was in experimental treatment group 3 (X3). Thus, it can be recommended to use the repetition of the application of cake foundation on a hole that was caused by acne in makeup to cikatri face.Keywords: Aplication Foundation, Make up to Cikatri Face

Abstract

This research background with many changes both face makeup, hairdo,fashion and bridal equipment and the meaning contained into it. The aims of thisstudy to describes bridal makeup in Talawi Subdistrict Sawahlunto City, WestSumatra province that see the changes that occur in makeup, hairdo, fashion andequipment, and meaning itself. The method used is descriptive method withqualitative approach, where the researcher observe the object as it is in the field.The instrument used by the researcher. Data collection techniques for this studyusing observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The results obtainedthrough data reduction, then performed the presentation of data and the lastwithdrawal of conclusions, the results of this study found that Talawi weddingmakeup ancient times very simple to use many of natural materials while nowusing modern tools, materials and cosmetics from various brands. The hairstyle ofthe bride formerly used a Lipek Pandan bun, now more practical hairstyle onlytied one back. Abstract

This research is motivated by so many things that make consumers interested to buy a cosmetic product, one of them is to buy a facial whitening cosmetics. Based on the purpose of this study was to determine buying interest of the facial whitening cosmetics by the students in Hairstyling Department of SMK Negeri 7.This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study was students in grade XII, which consists of two classes, namely class XII Beauty 1 and XII Beauty 2 Hairstyling Department of SMK Negeri 7 Padang which amounts to 36 students and all of the population used as a sample (total sampling). A data collection technique is to use a questionnaire, which has been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using the Achievement Level Percentage of Respondents (TPR).The results showed that the percentage of respondents’ level of achievement on the indicator products (78%) with the Medium category, the percentage of respondents’ level of achievement on the indicator price (80%) with the High category. While the percentage of respondents’ achievement on the indicator promotion (80%) with High category. For the percentage of respondents’ to the achievement of students' interest in buying facial whitening cosmetics (79%) with the Medium category. It is suggested to students and other consumers into buying facial whitening cosmetics are not only based on price and promotions, but rather the product itself.Keywords : Interest But, Product, Price, Promotion
