Abstract

Training on the use of comic media to improve literacy and students' problem-solving skills was held at the UPTD SMP Negeri 4 Peusangan on September 3-4, 2024, with the aim of helping teachers create more innovative, interesting, and effective learning. This activity involved teachers from various subjects with a theory-based approach, direct practice, and learning simulations using comic media. This training provides assistance to teachers in integrating comics into the classroom learning process, as well as conducting comic-based learning simulations by involving students as part of the media testing process. The results of the training showed an increase in teacher competence in designing and producing learning comics that are relevant to the curriculum. A total of 15 teachers successfully completed their comics and implemented this media in learning simulations. Obstacles faced during the training included limited technological facilities, variations in teacher abilities, and limited time. However, these can be overcome with intensive assistance, the use of simple applications, and collaboration between participants. The outputs of the activity were in the form of learning comics, training modules, and the formation of teacher discussion groups as a sustainable effort. Thus, students' learning motivation, literacy skills, and problem solving through the visual and narrative approaches presented in comics increased. This training has a significant positive impact, both for teachers, students and schools, and has become a development for subsequent learning innovations.

Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara multikultural menghadapi tantangan dalam menjaga harmoni sosial, khususnya dalam konteks kehidupan beragama. Moderasi beragama menjadi prinsip utama untuk menyeimbangkan komitmen terhadap ajaran agama dengan keterbukaan terhadap perbedaan. Dalam dunia pendidikan, madrasah memiliki peran strategis dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama guna membentuk karakter peserta didik yang inklusif dan toleran. Namun, implementasi moderasi beragama di madrasah menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti perbedaan pemahaman konsep moderasi, pengaruh paham keagamaan eksklusif, serta keterbatasan kurikulum yang mendukung nilai-nilai moderasi. Artikel ini membahas bagaimana kepemimpinan madrasah berperan dalam membangun lingkungan pendidikan yang harmonis melalui strategi kepemimpinan inklusif, integrasi nilai-nilai toleransi dalam kurikulum, pemberdayaan guru sebagai agen moderasi, serta kolaborasi dengan masyarakat dan lembaga keagamaan. Studi kasus di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah Kasongan menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan yang adaptif dan inklusif mampu menciptakan interaksi sosial yang harmonis antara guru, siswa, dan lingkungan sekitar. Dengan strategi yang tepat, madrasah dapat menjadi wadah efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama, sehingga melahirkan generasi yang toleran dan siap menghadapi keberagaman di masyarakat.

Abstract

Pelatihan pembuatan alat peraga bilangan dan aljabar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar adalah sebagai berikut: Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk membekali mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar dengan keterampilan dalam membuat dan menggunakan alat peraga matematika untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah mereka serta meningkatkan efektivitas pengajaran matematika di kelas. Konten pelatihan mencakup pemahaman konsep dasar bilangan dan aljabar yang diajarkan di tingkat sekolah dasar, metode pembuatan alat peraga, dan aplikasinya dalam pembelajaran. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan meliputi demonstrasi langsung, praktik langsung, dan diskusi kelompok. Pelatihan ini menekankan penerapan konsep matematika dalam konteks kehidupan nyata di kelas sekolah dasar, serta memperkuat keterampilan mahasiswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika dengan menggunakan alat peraga.Evaluasi dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi pemahaman dan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam membuat alat peraga dan menerapkannya dalam pembelajaran. Umpan balik dari instruktur dan sesama mahasiswa digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi area-area di mana mahasiswa perlu meningkatkan pemahaman atau keterampilan mereka.Dengan mendesain pelatihan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar dan mengaitkannya dengan hasil-hasil penelitian yang relevan, diharapkan mahasiswa dapat menjadi pendidik yang lebih kompeten dan efektif dalam mengajar matematika di kelas sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Memandikan bayi adalah kegiatan penting yang harus dilakukan secara benar oleh ibu, suami dan keluarga. Selain ditujukan untuk membersihkan badan bayi, memandikan bayi perlu dilakukan secara hati-hati agar tidak melukai bayi mengingat kondisi bayi yang sangat lemah. Selain itu, memandikan bayi merupakan bagian penting dari perawatan bayi. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan ibu, suami dan keluarga dapat memandikan bayi dengan benar sebagai upaya untuk menjaga agar tubuh bayi bersih, segar, dan mencegah kemungkinan infeksi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 3 Mei Tahun 2024, bertempat di RSIA Restu Ibu Padang. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 25 peserta terdiri dari ibu, suami dan keluarga dengan kegiatan berupa penyuluhan kesehatan, kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab dan praktek cara memandikan bayi. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan pre test untuk menilai pengetahuan sebelum dilakukan penyuluhan, kemudian post test sebagai evaluasi peningkatan pengetahuan setelah penyuluhan. kegiatan penyuluhan ini penting dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu dalam melakukan cara memandikan bayi yang benar disertai dengan memberikan informasi melalui leaflet cara mamandikan bayi

Abstract

This study is entitled Problem Solving Approach to improve student learning outcomes in Trigonometry Materials. The purpose of this study is to describe learning that can improve student achievement with the Problem Solving Approach in Trigonometry Materials in Class X SMA Negeri 1 Bireuen. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR). As for the subjects of the study were all grade X students of SMA Negeri 1 Bireuen and 5 students were taken as interview subjects with high, medium, and low ability criteria. Research data collected in the form of tests, interview observations and field notes. Student responses about problem solving approaches were also very good. It was proven that they enjoyed learning with the problem solving approach. This research was carried out in one action with II cycle. In the first cycle, the results of the study showed that the observations of the researchers 'activities reached 87.50% and the results of observations of the students' activities reached 81.67%. While the success of the final test of the first cycle I action reached 78.13%. Thus according to the established criteria said to be unsuccessful, for that the researcher entered the second cycle and corrected the existing weaknesses in cycle I. In the second cycle, the results of the study showed that the observations of the researchers 'activities reached 91.67% and the results of observations of the students' activities reached 89.17%. While the success of the final test cycle II action reached 87.10%. Based on the results of the final test I cycle II action that learning has reached the specified criteria that is 85% of students got a score ≥ 65 so that this study was said to be successful. Student responses about problem solving approaches were also very good. It was proven that they enjoyed learning with a problem solving approach.

Abstract

The implementation of the Integrated District Administrative Services (PATEN) represents a paradigmatic transformation in the provision of public services, emphasizing the integration of bureaucratic accountability and public satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the policy implications of PATEN on strengthening accountability mechanisms in public services and to examine its impact on the level of public satisfaction as service users. The research methodology employs a qualitative approach with a literature review technique, focusing on the analysis of academic literature and relevant policy documents published between 2021 and 2025. The analysis results show that the implementation of PATEN significantly contributes to strengthening accountability by increasing procedural transparency, standardizing services, and developing an integrated monitoring system. The positive impact on public satisfaction is reflected in increased service accessibility, staff responsiveness, and the simplification of previously complex bureaucratic processes. Furthermore, the determinant factors for the successful implementation of PATEN include the capacity and competence of human resources, the availability of technological infrastructure, leadership commitment, and the ability to adapt to local conditions and characteristics. Nevertheless, this study also identifies a number of challenges, including limited resources, resistance to change, and the digital divide between regions. Overall, the research concludes that PATEN has strategic potential as an instrument for bureaucratic reform capable of realizing good governance through public services that are of higher quality, accountable, and responsive to community needs.

Abstract

The implementation of the Integrated Administrative Services at the Sub-District Level (PATEN) represents a paradigmatic transformation in the delivery of public services oriented towards enhancing accountability and public satisfaction. This study analyses the implications of the PATEN policy on strengthening public service accountability mechanisms and its impact on the level of satisfaction among service users. The research methodology uses a qualitative approach with a literature study technique that analyses academic literature from the period 2021-2025. The results show that the implementation of PATEN contributes significantly to strengthening accountability through procedural transparency, service standardisation, and an integrated monitoring system. The impact on public satisfaction is manifested in increased service accessibility, responsiveness of officials, and elimination of bureaucratic complexity. Determinants of success include human resource capacity, technological infrastructure, leadership commitment, and contextual adaptability. Implementation challenges include resource constraints, resistance to change, and the digital divide. The study concludes that PATEN has strategic potential in realising good governance through quality and responsive public services.

Abstract

This research aims analyzing the urban morphology of Padang City in 2010 - 2025. 2). the development pattern of Padang city. The rate of urban sprawl in Padang City. Descriptive quantitative research with a spatial approach, utilizing Geographic Information Systems. Landsat image data from 2010, 2015, 2020 and 2025 were used to identify land use change. Spatial metric analysis with Fragstats 4.2 to measure fragmentation, density, diversity of built-up areas, while Shannon's Entropy model to measure the rate of expansion. The results showed that 1). The morphology of Padang City was identified as fragmented. 2) The development pattern of built-up area shows a significant increase from 2535.94 Ha in 2010 to 55,71.72 Ha in 2025. 3) The rate of urban sprawl falls into the category of “depressed high development” with low levels of sprawl, where the growth of built-up land tends to follow a linear pattern along the road network rather than radially centralized. These findings highlight the importance of stricter RTRW implementation and integrated urban planning to manage sustainable urban growth in Padang City.
