Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dampak public figure communication influence dalam meningkatkan exposure komunitas BUMN Hijau melalui analisis engagement di media sosial. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif komparatif, penelitian ini membandingkan jumlah follower, like, comment, dan share sebelum dan sesudah keterlibatan public figure. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya tren kenaikan yang signifikan dalam engagement setelah public figure terlibat. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa public figure dapat menjadi katalisator dalam meningkatkan interaksi dan visibilitas komunitas di media sosial. Temuan ini berimplikasi pada strategi komunikasi digital yang lebih efektif dalam mendukung inisiatif keberlanjutan baik bagi komunitas maupun perusahaan.

Abstract

Situs Gunung Padang di Cianjur, Jawa Barat, merupakan salah satu situs megalitikum terbesar di Asia Tenggara yang menyimpan potensi geoheritage sekaligus menjadi ruang kontestasi berbagai kepentingan. Sayangnya, masyarakat lokal di sekitar situs masih berada di posisi pinggiran dalam diskursus konservasi maupun pemanfaatan ekonomi. Artikel ini membahas implementasi Program Edukasi Kewirausahaan Terpadu yang dilaksanakan oleh Universitas Bakrie bekerja sama dengan Palu Citra Minerals dan Bakrie Resources Minerals, sebagai bagian dari pengabdian masyarakat berbasis keilmuan. Program yang berlangsung dari April hingga Agustus 2025 ini mengembangkan pendekatan geowirausaha berbasis potensi lokal seperti gula aren, madu hutan, dan kerajinan batok kelapa. Melalui pelatihan partisipatif, pendampingan digital, serta eksibisi produk dan konten naratif, masyarakat didorong untuk menjadi pelaku usaha sekaligus agen konservasi situs. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kapasitas komunikasi digital, munculnya prototipe produk lokal berbasis geoheritage, serta tumbuhnya kesadaran kolektif terhadap pelestarian situs. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa geowirausaha dapat menjadi jembatan strategis antara konservasi dan kesejahteraan, dan bahwa universitas memiliki peran penting sebagai agen inovasi sosial dalam pembangunan berbasis warisan budaya.

Abstract

The IM3 advertisement version of “Closer the distance, Declare the friendship” reveals certain connotations that can be in daily expressions and behaviors. The purpose of this research is to analyze the signs in the advertisement using Roland Barthes' semiotic approach. The method used is qualitative with the main data in the form of video advertisements downloaded from the official IM3 channel on YouTube. The results of the analysis showed that the visual and verbal elements in the advertisement successfully conveyed a message about the importance of communication and family closeness despite generational differences. The implication of this research is that the semiotic approach can enrich the understanding of communication strategies in advertising and can be used to improve the impact of advertising campaigns in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang pendayagunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi oleh Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dalam mendukung pelaksanaan tugas dan fungsi kelembagaan, khususnya dalam menyosialisasikan peran dan tanggung jawabnya kepada masyarakat luas. Peneliti berfokus pada pemanfaatan platform media sosial Instagram sebagai sarana komunikasi publik dan kendala yang dihadapi dalam implementasinya. Studi ini mengisi kesenjangan pada kurangnya kajian mengenai efektivitas penggunaan Instagram oleh lembaga pemerintahan teknis dalam menyampaikan informasi secara interaktif dan berkelanjutan. Dalam riset ini, peneliti berasumsi bahwa pemanfaatan media sosial memerlukan inovasi dan strategi konten yang relevan agar dapat mencapai efektivitas komunikasi yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan alasan penggunaan Instagram oleh Kementerian PU serta mengidentifikasi hambatan-hambatan dalam pemanfaatannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif guna menggambarkan secara mendalam fenomena komunikasi yang terjadi. Teori komunikasi publik dan konsep engagement digital digunakan sebagai dasar analisis untuk menginterpretasi data yang dikumpulkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Instagram mampu memperluas jangkauan informasi kepada masyarakat, Kementerian PU menghadapi kendala berupa kurangnya inovasi dan improvisasi dalam pembuatan konten, serta menurunnya jumlah pengguna aktif Instagram di Indonesia sejak Agustus 2024. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan perlunya strategi komunikasi yang lebih kreatif dan adaptif terhadap perubahan tren media sosial.

Abstract

Strategi penyampaian pesan diperlukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sehingga mencapai tujuan yang ditetapkan. Pada kegiatan program kemitraan bagi masyarakat (PkM) Universitas Bakrie dalam pembuatan kitin dan kitosan skala laboratorium dari limbah cangkang rajungan, proses dan hasil kegiatan tersebut ditelaah dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori-teori dalam bidang ilmu Komunikasi, khususnya Teori Difusi Inovasi. Hasil kajian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rekomendasi dan refleksi bagi para pelaksana Program PkM lainnya untuk memahami strategi yang efektif dan efisien dalam mensosialisasikan inovasi kepada masyarakat

Abstract

Often, crispy fried chicken UMKM focuses on developing brand value in building a business, recently Indonesia has been busy with Al Baiknya Indonesia crispy chicken, namely Almaz Chicken. This article makes a study of Almaz Chicken's entrepreneurship-based brand development strategy using the BFA or Brandpreneurship Framing Analysis methodology approach. BFA is systematically able to find and explain value development strategies according to the elements in BrandCoVD or Brandpreneurship's Circle of Values Development, namely identifying, creating, conveying, communicating, maintaining, evaluating and renewing values. This study uses data triangulation to strengthen the author's research results. This triangulation technique is used to ensure that the data collected from various sources and methods is truly valid. Data triangulation consists of several types, namely First, Source Triangulation, which uses various data sources to verify and ensure the truth of the research results. Secondary data sources consist of research journals, literature studies such as printed books, digital books, scientific articles and online news, and primary data sources, namely in-depth interviews. Almaz Friedchicken's strategy in evaluating market trends and lifestyles to become input and considerations for sustainable development is inseparable from Abuya Group's long experience in terms of the head or competence and capacity of the BODs, namely Okta Wirawan, Bram Dwi Raditya and Wawan Ibra who have been close friends since college, building professional careers and ups and downs with 7 brands in Abuya Group, newcomers without a TV marketing budget, can benefit from the momentum of the McDonald's and KFC boycott, which the public sees as related to Israel. Almaz uses social media, using storytelling techniques, to attract the attention of potential consumers who will carry out post-boycott agitation. Almaz is a new choice for crispy chicken fans.

Abstract

This study explores the condition of PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC), a company in a paradoxical situation: enjoying public popularity for its role in modern transport development while simultaneously facing major financial and operational challenges. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using Miles and Huberman's inductive analysis method, combined with GE-McKinsey and SWOT frameworks. Data were collected through document review, secondary literature analysis, and triangulation from multiple sources. The study identifies distress indicators such as cost overruns, operational delays, and foreign loan dependency. KCIC's adaptation strategies include financial restructuring, operational optimization, and multi-stakeholder collaboration. Additional strategies are also proposed, such as funding diversification, technological innovation, sustainability efforts, and enhanced local community engagement. The success of the Jakarta–Bandung High-Speed Rail project relies heavily on the effective execution of strategies, stakeholder support, and adaptability to changing conditions.

Abstract

The digital transformation of academic administration services in higher education presents opportunities and challenges for students, lecturers and education staff as stakeholders in the academic field. Bakrie University, through the implementation of the Bakrie Information Gateway 2.0 Academic Information System which functions as a digital information channel in academic administration activities, provides accessibility for stakeholders in accessing information in unlimited space and time. However, the process of digitizing academic services that occurred contained communication barriers experienced by stakeholders in the Bakrie Information Gateway 2.0 Academic Information System due to differences in understanding and interpretation of digital technology. This research aims to explore stakeholders perspectives and social construction of the digitalization of academic services, identify the level of importance of involvement of each stakeholder in the process of digitalizing academic services, and analyze the communication strategies implemented by managers in improving the quality of the academic experience through digitizing services on the Bakrie Information Gateway 2.0 Academic Information System. With a qualitative approach and case study method, this research uses social construction of technology theory, stakeholder salience model, and institutional theory of organizational communication to reveal cases in depth and detail to informants. The research results show that stakeholders perceptions and social constructions do not always contain the same elements regarding the digitalization of academic services and students being the main priority in fulfilling academic needs carried out by administrators. In overcoming communication barriers experienced by stakeholders, managers carry out institutional value-based communication strategies to build stakeholder involvement in the digitalization of academic services. By implementing institutional-based communication strategies, managers can improve the quality of the academic experience that stakeholders have.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran Weverse sebagai platform komunikasi digital dalam membangun ikatan emosional antara grup K-pop ENHYPEN dan penggemarnya, Engene. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan analisis tematik terhadap sepuluh penggemar aktif, penelitian ini menggunakan teori Uses and Gratifications (U&G) untuk memahami motivasi dan pengalaman pengguna. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Weverse efektif memenuhi kebutuhan informasi resmi, keterlibatan sosial, dan afeksi melalui fitur live streaming, fanletter, dan komentar. Interaksi ini menciptakan rasa kedekatan emosional dan identitas kolektif fandom yang kuat. Penggemar juga menginginkan fitur komunikasi yang lebih personal seperti penerjemah waktu nyata dan pesan langsung. Kesimpulannya, Weverse berfungsi bukan hanya sebagai media konten, tetapi juga ruang komunitas dinamis yang memperkuat loyalitas dan hubungan emosional dalam fandom digital. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi pengembangan strategi komunikasi media di industri K-pop.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of tvOne's Election News program on the political choices of first-time voters in the 2024 General Election. Using a qualitative approach and case study, data were obtained through interviews with four informants and an analysis of a January 10, 2024, broadcast featuring President Soeharto's use of AI. This study assesses the role of television as a traditional mass media in shaping first-time voters' political knowledge, attitudes, and preferences using the Framing Theory and Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM) framework. The results show that first-time voters consume more political information from social media, but Election News remains influential through peripheral ELM routes such as visual packaging and formal presentation style. Informants considered the program neutral, even though its delivery style was considered vocal or serious, and they trusted social media and their social environment more. Media literacy and social interaction also moderated this influence. This research enriches the understanding of political communication in the era of media convergence and provides practical implications for media and election organizers.
