Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of environmental care character at SD Negeri 2 Jatipuro Trucuk Klaten through various activities that support awareness and responsibility for environmental cleanliness. A descriptive qualitative approach was used in this study, with data obtained through interviews and observations. The results showed that activities such as Clean Friday, class picket, and joint tree planting became the main initiatives in shaping the character of environmental care. However, challenges such as the lack of awareness of some students in maintaining cleanliness are still found, for example littering or storing garbage in desk drawers. The role of educators is very important in providing reinforcement and habituation of environmentally friendly behavior. This study emphasizes that the development of environmentally friendly characters must be carried out continuously through the involvement of all school members to achieve optimal results. The findings are expected to be a reference for schools in improving and developing environmental education programs.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that is often a scary specter. Students generally assume that this subject is difficult to understand, monotonous, contains too many formulas, and has minimal application in real-life contexts. In this case, teachers have an important task in designing mathematics learning activities so that they can be interesting and popular with students. Educational strategies that combine mathematics learning with play activities are aimed at fostering students' interest in learning. The data collection method used is literature study. Using secondary data sources in the form of research results such as articles, journals, books and other relevant sources. The data analysis techniques used in this study are data analysis and content analysis techniques. The results of the literature review found the benefits of play methods in learning and examples of play methods in mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to create and evaluate interactive PowerPoint learning media used to help fifth grade students at SDN 2 Gumulan to understand lessons more easily and improve learning outcomes. The problems faced are low learning motivation and monotonous teaching methods for science. As a solution, interactive PowerPoint media is used for fifth grade science material, Chapter 6 "Indonesia is Rich" with the topic "How is My Indonesia?". This study uses the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the study showed that this media was very feasible to use, with a feasibility value of 92% from material experts and 88% from media experts. This media has also proven effective because it can increase student learning scores by 65% from pre-test to post-test. In addition, students feel more enthusiastic and interested when learning using this media. However, this study still has shortcomings, such as only being conducted in one school, only covering one topic, and the time is short. For this reason, further research is needed with more participants and a longer time so that the results are stronger and more comprehensive.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of SD N 1 Wonoboyo fourth-grade students in the 2024/2025 Academic Year by implementing reward stickers. The subjects of this study were 20 fourth-grade students of SD N 1 Wonoboyo. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with a cycle design that includes the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The data collection technique was observation and testing. The results of observations in the pre-cycle showed that only 45% of students achieved the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). In cycle 1, with the implementation of reward stickers, the classical completion rate increased to 65% but did not meet the target. In cycle 2, a more optimal implementation succeeded in increasing classical completion to 85%. The results of this study indicate that reward stickers can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes

Abstract

Community service in the form of training in making LKPD based on problem-based learning aims to introduce and assist in its implementation within the merdeka curriculum, enabling its application in elementary schools. Problem-based learning, also known as LKPD, can be applied in elementary schools across all subjects. Learning activities with LKPD based on problem-based learning become more structured and meaningful for students. The participants of this community service consisted of the principal, teachers, and students who were carrying out field experience practice at SD N 2 Prambanan, Klaten. The method used in this training is participatory action research (PAR), consisting of material delivery, mentoring, and discussion activities. The material provided in this training is the delivery of theory (definition, characteristics, and syntax of problem-based learning), practice in compiling LKPD based on problem-based learning, and evaluation. The results of this community service activity demonstrate success in mastering the creation of LKPD through participant training. This can be seen from the high enthusiasm in every stage of the training implementation.
