Abstract

This research is motivated by the complexity of business dynamics among communities in the border region of Bengkayang Regency. Border regions have unique characteristics, leading to various factors influencing business dynamics in these areas. This research aims to understand the business dynamics of communities in the border region of Bengkayang Regency and formulate strategies for their development. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was narrative analysis to deeply understand the experiences of business actors. The results showed that the business dynamics of communities in the border region of Bengkayang Regency are influenced by various factors, such as government policies, ethnicity, border security, infrastructure, skills and knowledge, and government roles. Based on the research findings, several strategies for business development in the border region of Bengkayang Regency were formulated, including infrastructure improvement, provision of training and business mentoring, facilitation of partnerships with large-scale businesses, enhancement of border security, and strengthening cross-border cooperation.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the factors that affect Non-Performing Loan (NPL) risk in credit unions and factors that affect Return On Assets (ROA) in cooperatives. The study found that credit unions could minimize NPL risk by utilizing social networks according to the theory of social capital, and by ensuring that management and members share the same goals in managing credit risk according to the agency theory. The microfinance theory suggests that credit unions should provide appropriate financing. Multiple linear regression analysis indicated a significant influence of Loan to Deposit Ratio and Loan Interest Rate on ROA. Thus, credit unions should consider the use of deposit funds and set appropriate interest rates to increase ROA and strengthen member relationships. In managing credit risk, credit unions can utilize the theories of social capital, agency, and microfinance.

Abstract

Keterbatasan akan pengetahuan pelayanan terhadap konsumen hampir dapat dijumpai pada setiap usaha UMKM. Setiap usaha seharusnya punya kesadaran akan pentingnya pengetahuan pelayanan, karena mereka berhadapan langsung dengan konsumen. Setiap konsumen mempuyai latar belakang dan karakter yang berbeda beda, pemahaman inilah yang harus diketahui oleh para pelaku UMKM dalam operasional kesehariannya. Konsumen yang puas terhadap pelayanan dari para pelaku UMKM tentu merupakan pengalaman yang menjadikan referensi untuk dapat membeli ulang bahkan menjadikan promosi kepada siapapun jika membutuhkan informasi. Dalam dunia usaha kita dihadapkan dengan berbagai macam competitor competitor yang mempunyai keunggulan untuk dapat bersaing meraih pangasa pasar terutama konsumen yang bersegmentasi. Untuk meraih konsumen yang banyak tentu mempunyai strategi strategi yang dilakukan oleh pelaku usaha. Strategi ini tidak terlepas dari produk, tempat usaha, harga yang ditawarkan kepasar, promosi yang dijalankan selama ini. Dengan memaksimalkan strategi tentu akan membawa usaha kearah yang lebih baik, dapat berkembang, konsumennya bertambah dan laba yang didapat juga meningkat. Salah satu bagian dari usaha peningkatan yang harus dilakukan oleh para pelaku UMKM dikota bengkayang adalah dengan memaksimalkan promosi, terutama dalam hal pelayanan yang diberikan kepada konsumen, serta digitalisasi marketing. Pelayanan merupakan sauatu kegiatan atau serangkaian tidak berwujud yang timbul akibat interaksi antara konsumen dengan karyawan atau hal lain yang terafiliasi dengan perusahaan pemberi pelayanan yang bertujuan untuk memecahkan masalah yang dialami oleh konsumen atau pelanggan. Kualitas pelayanan adalah ukuran ketidak cocokan tingkat pelayanan dengan harapan pelanggan. Oleh karena itu kualitas pelayanan harus diselenggarakan dengan melakukan komporomi secara konsisten dengan harapan pelanggan. Agar kualitas pelayanan dapat maksimal sesuai dengan harapan para pelangggan dan optimalisasi pemasaran digital untuk pelaku UMKM di kota Bengkayang maka akan dilakukan pendampingan. Pendampingan dilaksanakan dengan cara memberikan literasi pemahaman tentang pentingnya pelayanan yang baik kepada konsumen, antara mendampingi dalam literasi promosi, terutama berhubungan dengan digitalisasi.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the strategies that can be applied to DapureSA's business located in Setia Budi Village, Bengkayang District. This study uses SWOT analysis to find out the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and existing threats. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach where primary data is obtained directly from consumers while secondary data is obtained through books, magazines, journals and articles. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the DapureSA business is quite popular with consumers who say that the products from the DapureSA business taste good at a low price, the quality offered is very good. In conclusion, DapureSA's business can experience an increase in turnover if it continues to develop products and continue to innovate by adding various flavor variants, increasing production volumes, maintaining price stability, maintaining production quality and finding strategic places to open outlets

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the implementation of Sela Mantap's business both before and after the growth of product sales. This research uses interviews and is qualitative. The research subjects were selected using a purposive sampling technique totaling 5 people. The data collection technique in this study uses observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of data analysis show that consumers with marketing tactics used by business actors to offer services and promote Sela Mantap business to customers. Based on the results of the research, it can be seen that there are several techniques used, one of which is increasing sales of Sela Mantap. The 4P marketing strategy implemented by Sela Mantap business actors has a significant impact on the daily services provided to measure customer satisfaction with the sale of Sela Mantap goods, namely the 4P promotion strategy, location, product, and price.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the leadership styles applied in the business evaluation process, specifically through business feasibility studies in the digital economy era. The research adopts a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The study was conducted with informants from business actors in Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan. The informants included five individuals from agricultural, plantation, culinary, and service business clusters. The research shows that in the digital economy era, market aspects have become increasingly complex due to rapid changes in consumer behavior. Companies must adopt a comprehensive approach, utilizing digital data, social media, and big data to more accurately identify market segments and consumer preferences. High competition in the digital market demands adaptation and innovation to stay relevant. In the garment business, focusing on accurately identifying product demand is crucial, while service businesses, such as traditional clothing rentals, adjust marketing strategies based on consumer needs. Effective leadership in managing markets involves professionalism and active consumer participation. A participative leadership style proves effective in addressing complex business challenges.

Abstract

Performance is an important thing that must be considered in the growth of Small and Micro Enterprises (MSMEs). This study aims to identify and analyze the effect of entrepreneurial interest and self-efficacy on the performance of MSMEs in Bengkayang City. This research is quantitative research with a survey approach. Questionnaires were used in collecting data on 58 MSME players in Bengkayang City who were included in the culinary, service, basic food and clothing businesses. The variables studied included entrepreneurial interest, self efficacy and MSME performance. The data analysis technique uses multiple regression tests using SPSS as an analytical tool to determine the effect of entrepreneurial interest and self efficacy on MSME performance. The results showed that entrepreneurial interest had no effect on performance while self efficacy had a positive effect on performance. The results also showed that entrepreneurial interest and self efficacy together had an effect on the performance of MSMEs in Bengkayang City. The higher the entrepreneurial interest and self efficacy, the higher the performance of MSMEs.

Abstract

Keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) sangat penting untuk diketahui dan diterapkan oleh siswa/siswi yang ada di SMKN 01 Bengkayang khususnya jurusan tata boga. Dalam mempersiapkan siswa/siswinya untuk siap masuk ke lapangan kerja mereka perlu dibekali dengan pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai K3 untuk meminimalisir kecelakaan kerja khususnya ketika kegiatan praktikum memasak berlangsung. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan pada saat praktikum memasak kedisiplinan siswa/siswi dalam menggunakan alat pelindung diri (APD) masih rendah. Masih minimnya kesadaran dalam penggunaan APD dapat meningkatkan resiko kecelakaan dalam kegiatan praktikum tersebut, oleh sebab itu penting bagi para siswa untuk memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai penggunaan APD yang termasuk dalam lingkup K3. Pengetahuan dan pemahaman ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran dan kedisiplinan para siswa ini dalam menggunakan APD. karena setiap siswa memiliki tanggungjawab untuk menerapkan K3 pada lingkungan kerja mereka khususnya di kitchen. Penerapan K3 ini tidak hanya untuk kepentingan para siswa tetapi juga untuk kepentingan konsumen yang akan mengonsumsi makanan yang akan dikreasikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai sejauh mana pengetahuan produk, citra merek, dan pengalaman pelanggan berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian ulang di market place, dengan kepuasan konsumen sebagai faktor yang memoderasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif, yang mengkaji status sekelompok manusia terhadap suatu objek, kondisi, atau sistem pemikiran pada saat ini. Tujuan dari penelitian deskriptif adalah untuk menyajikan deskripsi secara sistematis, faktual, dan akurat tentang fakta, sifat, serta hubungan antara fenomena yang sedang diteliti. Data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jumlah responden yang terlibat sebanyak 41, dan mereka telah berbelanja di platform market place. Pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS Versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan produk, citra merek, dan pengalaman pelanggan memengaruhi keputusan pembelian ulang di marketplace. Dalam penelitian ini, ditemukan bahwa kepuasan dapat memoderasi keputusan pembelian ulang di market place konsumen di kota Bengkayang. Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan Produk, Citra Merek, Pengalaman Konsumen, Marketplace, Kepuasan Konsumen, Keputusan Konsumen.

Abstract

Purpose: Community service activities were carried out in Dharma Bhakti Village, Teriak District, Bengkayang Regency. The team carrying out Community Service activities is a collaboration of lecturers and students from the Entrepreneurship Study Program, totaling 4 lecturers and 3 students as well as 13 PKK women from Dharma Bhakti village. Research methodology: The method of this community service activity is through FGD, lectures and question and answer methods. This community service activity is related to providing material regarding exploiting business opportunities by utilizing local balu materials in the form of corn husks into economically valuable products so that they can improve the economy of the community in Dharma Bhakti Village. Results: Business opportunities for using corn husks can be done by collaborating with the creativity and innovation of PKK women so that they have new opportunities to turn waste into unique products in the form of flowers and key chains. Community service activities in Dharma Bhakti Village are running actively and conducively thanks to the support Dharma Bhakti Village Government. Conclusions: This initiative motivates PKK Dharma Bhakti to innovate for family welfare, promotes environmental awareness through waste processing, and opens new income opportunities from untapped local resources. Limitations: Activity Lack of practicum is a limitation in this activity. Contribution: This activity is able to achieve previously desired.
