Abstract

Children with visual impairment tend to fail in understanding body images accurately, as a result of limited exploration, limited movement, and overprotective which will affect the delay in motor development. BS is a child with visual impairment who has obstacles in the process of orientation and mobility. So that it requires an early intervention program that is expected to be able to help BS to get to know their environment. Early intervention programs that will be applied to BS are orientation and mobility. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The research data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that before the early intervention BS got a score of 65, because BS had not yet understood the concept of early intervention. After early intervention the BS value shows an increase of 90.

Abstract

Media is a teaching aid to convey messages to students during the learning process. The aim of the research is to develop Autoplay Studio 8 Media to find out the validity, practicality and effectiveness of Autoplay Studio 8 based learning media to overcome boredom in learning. This research adopted the Borg and Gall model with 10 stages which were made into 7 stages to develop English language learning media for class III with a total of 20 students at SD Negeri 3 Kandang Kapongan Situbondo. The material content is 98% and the presentation is 85% so that a total of 91% is in the very decent category. For media experts, there are several aspects that are assessed, including appearance (83%), menu (80%), coloring (73%), font (83%), implementation (83%), and a total of 81%. which is included in the very feasible category. Validation by educators who assessed several aspects of the curriculum was 93%, content was 85%, and media was 88%. If added up, the overall result is 88% in the very suitable category, while the results tested on media students are 90%, the material aspect is 90%, and the benefits aspect is 86%, so it is collected. The total is 90% so that the learning media using Autoplay Studio 8 with animal love material is suitable for use in learning activities, especially in class III elementary school, which is very helpful for explaining more in depth and can be developed in the form of smartphone software to be more effective and efficient. Abstract

This study discusses the effect of the talkback alphabet recognition application which is expected to help the blind people. This study aims to improve the ability to understand the alphabet through the talkback application for the blind people on Jl. Ahmad Yani Number 25, Tamansari Village, Bondowoso Regency. This type of research is Single Subject Research (SSR). This study uses an A-B design. The subject of this study is a blind person with the initials M. In the research process, two phases were used, namely the baseline phase and the intervention phase. In the baseline phase which was carried out for 5 sessions and 10 sessions in the intervention phase with a time of 40 minutes each session. From the results of the baseline percentage, namely 40%, 40%, 50%, 60% and 50%, the results obtained were continued with analysis in conditions and between conditions. The percentage of overlap obtained was 0% which shows that the intervention given to the blind person has an effect on the understanding of the alphabet in the talkback application. Thus, the formulation of the problem presented is answered that the talkback application is effective in improving the ability to understand the alphabet in blind people on Jl. Abstract

Kegiatan sosialisasi anti bullying dan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) di SD Gambirono 03 memiliki tujuan untuk menciptakan kepekaan dan pemahaman siswa terhadap perlunya menjaga perilaku positif dan kebersihan diri dalam lingkungan sekolah. Metode pelaksanaan pada sosialisasi ini yaitu observasi dan penyuluhan. Melalui pendekatan interaktif dan partisipatif, siswa mendapatkan pengetahuan mengenai dampak buruk dari bullying serta pentingnya mewujudkan lingkungan aman bagi semua siswa. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga menekankan pentingnya penerapan PHBS sebagai langkah preventif dalam menjaga kesehatan fisik dan mental anak-anak. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan dan pemahaman siswa mengenai dampak bullying serta meningkatkan kesadaran dalam menjaga kebersihan diri. Program ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang lebih sehat dan harmonis.

Abstract

Composing an article or a thesis is a must for the final semester students in the university. Unfortunately, not all of them could make it easily. Some of them are still having difficulties to find ideas and replace it to the written form based on the right grammar of Indonesian language. Therefore, this study has been done by knowing the linguistic’s profile of the students. Someone that has good linguistic profile should comply some criterion. This study uses qualitative method with purposive sampling. Then, the data obtained will be validated by informan review. There are 5 informans of this study and the result shows that one (1) student has high level of linguistic intelligence, 3 students are in the middle level and another one with the lowest level.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of a support program for students with disabilities at Universitas PGRI Argopuro Jember by examining the strategies, challenges, and impacts on their learning process and social engagement. A qualitative approach with a descriptive study method was employed, utilizing in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that academic and social support programs have been implemented through adaptive learning services, peer volunteer assistance, academic affirmative policies, and social activity integration. Despite supportive policies and facilities, challenges remain in terms of limited trained personnel, inadequate campus infrastructure accessibility, and insufficient understanding of inclusive education among lecturers and staff. The program has positively influenced academic comprehension, self-confidence, and social participation among students with disabilities. These findings reinforce the inclusive education theory, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among all campus elements to foster an equitable and inclusive learning environment. Program success relies on sustainable mentoring training, strengthened inclusive policies, and synergy between institutions and external stakeholders.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menjahit pada siswa disabilitas intelektual di SLB Negeri Patrang Jember. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari siswa disabilitas intelektual, guru keterampilan, dan orang tua siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PjBL secara bertahap dan terstruktur mampu meningkatkan keterampilan teknis siswa, seperti membuat pola, menjahit dengan mesin, dan merapikan hasil jahitan. Selain itu, ditemukan peningkatan dalam aspek afektif seperti rasa percaya diri, kemandirian, dan motivasi belajar. Proyek-proyek yang dikerjakan secara konkret memberikan makna pembelajaran yang lebih kuat dan meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses belajar. Dukungan guru sebagai fasilitator serta penggunaan media visual turut memperkuat efektivitas model ini. Dengan demikian, PjBL dapat dijadikan strategi pembelajaran alternatif yang aplikatif dan inklusif dalam pengembangan keterampilan vokasional siswa disabilitas intelektual.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the extent to which smart card media can support students with hearing impairments in constructing basic Indonesian sentences based on the Subject, Predicate, Object, and Adverbial (SPOK) structure. The primary focus of this research is to examine the impact of using smart card media on the sentence-building skills of students with hearing disabilities. In general, the study seeks to assess the effectiveness of smart card media in facilitating the learning process of basic sentence construction in Indonesian. More specifically, it aims to assist hearing-impaired students in improving their ability to formulate sentences that follow the SPOK structure.The research adopts a Single Subject Research (SSR) approach, which emphasizes detailed observation of a single individual to identify changes resulting from a specific intervention. The study employs an A-B design, using the frequency of the target skill’s appearance as the unit of measurement. Through this investigation, it is expected that new insights will emerge regarding the potential of smart card media in fostering the development of basic sentence construction skills in line with the SPOK pattern. The anticipated outcome is empirical data that demonstrate the media's effectiveness in the learning process and provide a foundation for designing similar educational strategies in the future.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan kecerdasan buatan (AI) berdampak pada kemampuan siswa dengan disabilitas daksa dalam menyelesaikan tugas-tugas yang diberikan dalam mata kuliah Bahasa Isyarat di Universitas PGRI Argopuro Jember. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dan dirancang sebagai eksperimen semu (quasi-experimental). Ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan model satu grup pretest-posttest. Enam siswa daksa pengguna Bahasa Isyarat Indonesia (BISINDO) adalah subjek penelitian. Hasil pretest menunjukkan skor rata-rata 13,11, sementara hasil posttest menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan menjadi 23,42, yang menunjukkan peningkatan besar dalam struktur isi, ketepatan bahasa isyarat, ekspresi visual, dan kemandirian teknologi. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa penggunaan AI meningkatkan kemampuan akademik siswa disabilitas daksa, terutama dalam hal pembelajaran berbasis visual seperti Bahasa Isyarat. Namun, AI hanya harus digunakan sebagai alat bantu, bukan pengganti proses berpikir dan kreativitas siswa. Penelitian ini mendorong pembentukan lingkungan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang inklusif di perguruan tinggi
