Stigma dan diskriminasi terhadap orang dengan HIV/AIDS (ODHA) yang dilakukan perawat menyebabkan hambatan pada pelayanan asuhan keperawatan. Kejadian stigma tidak lepas kaitannya dengan persepsi stigma ketika mereka masih menjadi mahasiswa atau calon perawat. Stigma pada mahasiswa ini muncul dan berkembang karena pengetahuan mengenai HIV yang dimilikinya tidak komprehensif. Salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi hal ini dilakukan melalui penguatan informasi melalui program edukasi kesehatan HIV. Pelaksanaan edukasi kesehatan HIV ini dilakukan secara secara daring kepada 40 orang mahasiswa keperawatan. Setelah dilaksanakan kegiatan edukasi kesehatan HIV, menunjukkan sebagian besar mahasiswa (72,5%) memiliki tingkat pengetahuan HIV berkategori baik. Selain itu, mahasiswa yang memiliki stigma (negatif) terhadap ODHA menurun menjadi 52,5%, yang awalnya sebesar 77,5%. Walaupun edukasi kesehatan ini belum mampu secara utuh menghilangkan stigma, tetapi perubahan pandangan stigma ini menjadi suatu upaya dalam eradikasi stigma pada ODHA. Rekomendasi dari kegiatan ini yaitu perlu dikembangkan strategi yang lebih komprehensif dan lebih mendalam untuk perubahan stigma pada mahasiswa keperawatan.

Diperkirakan 15 juta bayi di dunia dilahirkan secara preterm, dan angka ini terus meningkat setiap tahunnya. Persalinan preterm diperkirakan menjadi faktor risiko pada setidaknya 50 persen dari semua kematian neonatal kelahiran prematur mengakibatkan hampir semua bayi prematur membutuhkan perawatan khusus dan merupakan neonatus yang paling banyak dirawat di neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Pendekatan perawatan berpusat pada keluarga atau dikenal dengan Family Centered Care (FCC) efektif digunakan untuk mengubah persepsi keluarga terutama ibu serta menurunkan stres ibu selama perawatan bayi di unit perawatan intensif (Browne & Talmi, 2005), sehingga ibu akan lebih siap dalam merawat bayi setelah pulang dari rumah sakit. Manfaat penerapan perawatan berpusat pada keluarga di NICU memiliki dampak terhadap rerata penurunan lama rawat bayi di NICU selama 2 hari (Ortenstrand et al. 2010). Manfaat lain dari penerapan perawatan berpusat pada keluarga adalah membantu mengurangi dampak jangka panjang pada bayi prematur. Tujuan umum dari kegiatan ini diharapkan sebagai salah satu upaya membantu program pemerintah dalam memberdayakan masyarakat khususnya keluarga pasien yang memiliki bayi dengan kelahiran prematur dan sedang menjalani perawatan di rumah sakit. Dengan demikian, diharapkan sosialisasi ini dapat membantu tingkat keberhasilan pemberian asuhan dan perawatan bayi prematur di ruang perawatan rumah sakit karena tidak hanya dikelola oleh petugas kesehatan, namun juga melibatkan keluarga secara langsung.

Literacy on mental health is an essential agenda for adolescents' personalities. Literacy efforts start by increasing the capacity of youth to develop life skills, and expert teachers facilitate these skills. This Community Service aims to become facilitators of adolescent mental health by introducing mental health and building life. The method activity is training assistance. The training was given to 11 teachers. The training location is at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Bandung Regency, with the implementation of strict health protocols. Pre-test and post-test questionnaires about mental health and life were given to participants via Google Form. The practicum was carried out using the simulation method. Steps include planning, implementation, and evaluation activities. The pre-test and post-test results showed a significant increase in the knowledge aspect of the participants about mental health and self-awareness and rational thinking p-value of 0.019. Practicum implementation is done by conducting simulations, divided into three groups, each practicing life skill worksheets. Based on the activities that have been carried out, it is necessary to follow up the provision of teachers with the theme of life and expand the sub-themes to form comprehensive knowledge of teachers.

COVID-19 has an impact on the education sector. Transitioning from face-to-face to online learning puts students at risk for back pain as they must perform most tasks in a sitting position with a non-ergonomic posture. The aim was to analyze the relationship between the sitting position and low back pain during online learning. In this study, we used a cross-section design. A total of 224 nursing students participated in the study. Sampling was done randomly, and data collection using online questionnaires. Data analysis was done descriptively and inferentially. The Chi-Square test was used to determine the correlation between sitting position and low back pain. The results showed that almost half (49.1%) of students sat down when learning online, and the incidence of low back pain in students was as much as 45.1%. In addition, the results also showed no significant association (p-value = 7,035 ≥ 0.05; r = 0.030) between sitting position and low back pain incidence in nursing students during online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The sitting position factor is not the primary determinant of low back pain. Therefore, further research is needed concerning other low back pain events.

Persalinan preterm diperkirakan menjadi faktor risiko pada 50% dari kematian neonatal.Kelahiran prematur mengakibatkan bayi membutuhkan perawatan khusus di ruang NICU.Pendekatan perawatan berpusat pada keluarga atau dikenal dengan Family CenteredCare (FCC) mampu meningkatkan kualitas hidup pada bayi dengan kelahiran prematurmelalui keterlibatan keluarga secara langsung dalam memberikan asuhan terutama pascaperawatan intensif di rumah. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapanFCC terhadap persepsi keluarga bayi dengan kelahiran prematur di ruang NICU RSUDKota Bandung. Jenis penelitian preeksperimental menggunakan desain one group pre-posttest. Teknik pengambilan sampel random sampling yaitu keluarga bayi dengan riwayatkelahiran prematur yang memberikan probabilitas yang sama pada setiap sampel untukterpilih dalam kelompok intervensi dengan Instrumen menggunakan kuesioner. Terdapatperbedaan yang signifikan pada persepsi keluarga terhadap kelahiran prematur sebelumdan sesudah dilakukan FCC. Hasil analisis uji beda, nilai Pearson Chi Square = 98,746 dannilai probabilitas (Asymp. Sig) diperoleh 0,001< 0,05.

Society human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) related health literacy is an essential behavioural skill that contributes to understanding the disease and responding to people living with HIV. Measuring HIV health literacy in the community requires reliable tools to produce an objective health literacy index. This study aimed to design and examined the society HIV health literacy scale's (SHIVAL) psychometric properties. A cross sectional study was conducted on 381 people without HIV. Sample recruitment used convenience sampling. Instrument development and psychometric analysis include item pool construction and content validity examination, consistency reliability test, and exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. A standardized four factor model fits the HIV health literacy measure well. This scale has 15 items with good Cronbach's Alpha reliability index and content validity index. The final SHIVAL Scale has been determined reliable and appropriate for measuring health literacy related to HIV. Nurses or healthcare professionals can use this scale to predict an individual's HIV health literacy, thereby influencing the social intervention of HIV disease and enabling effective community health literacy strategies.

This study aims to determine the effect of lay cardiopulmonary resuscitation simulation method training on self-efficacy in the management of lay cardiopulmonary resuscitation in the community. The method used is a one-group pre-post test design with convenience sampling. The results showed that the significance value of self-efficacy before and after the intervention was 0.001 (p-value <0.05). In conclusion, there is an effect of layman's CPR simulation training on community self-efficacy. This training can be an alternative for health workers to increase people's self-efficacy beliefs in CPR. Keywords: Self Efficacy, Cardiac Arrest, Community, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation

The prevalence of hypertension highlights the need for patients to manage their blood pressure independently, which is linked to health literacy. However, the relationship between self-care management and health literacy requires empirical validation. This study investigates the correlation between health literacy and self-care management among hypertensive patients at public health facilities. The study used a cross-sectional design involving 81 hypertensive patients aged 18 and older, sampled from a health centre in Bandung Regency, Indonesia. Health literacy was assessed using a hypertension health literacy scale, and self-care management was evaluated with a 40-item questionnaire. Kendall's Tau b was used for inferential analysis to examine the relationship between health literacy and self-care management. The findings indicated a significant correlation between health literacy and self-care management (t = 0.342; p < 0.05), showing that individuals with higher health literacy manage their hypertension more effectively and achieve better blood pressure control. These results pertain only to a specific population, suggesting further research on health literacy and self-care management among hypertensive patients in various health facilities

Gastritis merupakan salah satu penyakit yang sering terjadi di kalangan mahasiswa.Mahasiswa cenderung melakukan swamedikasi untuk mengatasi gastritis karenamerasa bahwa penyakit tersebut merupakan penyakit ringan. Studi ini bertujuanuntuk mengetahui pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan swamedikasi penyakit gastritispada mahasiswa keperawatan. Studi ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional denganmelibatkan mahasiswa keperawatan pada salah satu perguruan tinggi di Kota Bandungsebanyak 80 orang. Variabel diukur menggunakan kuesioner pengetahuan swamedikasi,sikap dalam melakukan swamedikasi, dan tindakan swamedikasi. Analisis deskriptifmenggunakan distribusi frekuensi digunakan untuk menggambarkan pengetahuan, sikap,dan tindakan swamedikasi. Temuan studi menunjukkan pengetahuan mahasiswa mengenaiswamedikasi gastritis dalam kategori tinggi sebesar 50%. Sikap mahasiswa dalammelakukan swamedikasi gastritis tergolong baik sebesar 67,5% dengan tindakan terkaitswamedikasi dalam kategori tinggi mencapai 56,3%. Temuan studi merekomendasikanbahwa tindakan swamedikasi dalam pengobatan gastritis oleh dapat dilakukan sesuaibatasan yang dianggap wajar disertai dengan peningkatan kesadaran dan pemahamanmengenai praktik swamedikasi yang bertanggung jawab. Strategi peningkatan pemahamandan kesadaran dapat dikembangkan dengan berbasis literasi dan perubahan sikap yangmendukung kewaspadaan dalam pengobatan mandiri yang dilakukan mahasiswa

Hypertension is a significant contributor to the leading cause of death in Bandung City. This chronic condition requires long-term management by individuals to prevent potentially fatal complications. Therefore, it is crucial for individuals with hypertension to actively engage in the management of their condition, which demands high levels of motivation and self-efficacy. In this context, health education is pivotal in empowering patients to perform self-care effectively. This community service (Pengmas) activity was conducted within the jurisdiction of the Cijagra Lama Health Center in Bandung City, and integrated into the Ners professional student program, on May 19, 2024. The community service involved providing educational materials on hypertension and its management. The educational approach included presentations using PowerPoint slides and the distribution of informational leaflets. Results from pre- and post-test with the Wilcoxon test demonstrated a significant improvement in both self-efficacy and motivation among the 39 participants in the community service program, concerning the management of hypertension. This initiative is expected to enhance participants' ability to manage their condition effectively, promoting better control over their health.
