Abstract

The aim of the research was to determine the relationship between parents and the character of responsibility in class IIIB students at MI An Nuur Cahaya Umat.The research method used is quantitative with a correlation research type approach. The research population was 17 class IIIB students at MI An Nuur Cahaya Umat. The independent variable is parental support, while the dependent variable is the character of responsibility. The data collection method is in the form of a questionnaire guided by a specific scale. The data analysis technique uses Pearson Porduct moment analysis from Karl Person with the simple help of IBM SPSS 26. The research was carried out at MI An Nuur Cahaya Umat in August-November 2023.The results of the research show that based on the calculation results regarding the relationship between two variables, namely in the parametric technique with paired sample t with a significance result of (0.314) in the insignificant category and a Pearson correlation score of (-0.260) in the weakly correlated category. So the results of this study do not correlate between the relationship between parental support and the character of responsibility. So it can be concluded that the higher or too pampered the support given by parents to their children, the lower the student's responsible character will be. On the other hand, if the support provided by parents is low or does not pamper the child too much, the child will have a good level of responsible character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman dengan metode pembelajaran AIR (Auditory, Intellectualy, Repetition) pada siswa kelas II SD Negeri Kramat 5 Kota Magelang. Desain penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan 2 siklus dimana setiap siklusnya terdiri atas 2 pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah kelas II yang berjumlah 14 siswa. Variabel terikat dalam penelitian terdiri dari kemampuan membaca pemahaman dan variabel bebas metode pembelajaran AIR (Auditory, Intellectualy, Repetition). Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, dan observasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif persentase. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) penggunaan metode pembelajaran AIR (Auditory, Intellectualy, Repetition) dapat dilaksanakan melalui langkah-langkah: belajar mendengar, belajar berpikir dan memecahkan masalah, belajar dengan pengulangan agar lebih efektif (2) penggunaan metode pembelajaran AIR (Auditory, Intellectualy, Repetition) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas II materi dongeng binatang (fabel). Hasil peningkatan mulai dari prasiklus dengan rata-rata nilai 53 dengan yang tuntas 3 anak, sedangkan siklus I rata-rata nilai 86 dengan yang tuntas 10 anak dan siklus II rata –rata nilai 93 dengan yang tuntas 13 anak. Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran melalui metode pembelajaran AIR (Auditory, Intellectualy, Repetition) di SDN Kramat 5 Kota Magelang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas II SDN Kramat 5 Kota Magelang materi dongeng binatang (fabel).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari dan menganalisis keterlibatan orang tua di SD Muhammadiyah 1 Alternatif Magelang and SD Muhammadiyah 1 Inovatif Mertoyudan Magelang. Data diperoleh dari pihak sekolah dan orang tua. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus dengan 23 partisipan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berbagai bentuk keterlibatan orang tua pada pembelajaran daring adalah menyediakan fasilitas, sebagai mentor, motivator, dan pengawas, dan komunikator. Orang tua terlibat dalam berbagai instruksi pembelajaran dari guru, menemani belajar, memberikan motivasi, dan menjadi mentor dalam belajar anak. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan peran orang tua dalam pengembangan karakter, terutama karakter disiplin. Upaya yang diakukan orang tua dalam membangun disiplin pada diri anak dilakukan dengan bentuk pemberian nasehat, peguatan, dan hukuman. Hasil ini menjadi gambaran bagi sekolah serta orang tua tentang bagaimana anak-anak mengalami keberhasilan dalam pembelajaran daring. Hasil ini menjadi refleksi dan evaluasi bagi sekolah bahwa program belajar yang dilakukan secara daring membutuhkan keterlibatan dari orang tua dan sekolah.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Keterampilan memirsa atau dikenal juga sebagai keterampilan makro ke-5, menjadi bagian yang saling melengkapi dari keterampilan lain dalam pengajaran Bahasa Indonesia, untuk tantangan para guru dalam mengimplementasikannya. Hal ini merupakan bagian dari persyaratan dalam Kurikulum Merdeka untuk mengatasi krisis pembelajaran. Peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian kualitatif di SD Muhammadiyah Borobudur Kabupaten Magelang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu observasi alami (natural observation), wawancara, dan catatan lapangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis penerapan keterampilan memirsa di kelas 1 selama satu bulan (20 hari kerja). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa keterampilan memirsa hanya diterapkan sebanyak 50% (10 hari kerja) dalam kelima mata pelajaran yang diajarkan di kelas tersebut, yaitu P5, Matematika, Bahasa Indonesia, Pendidikan Karakter, dan SBK. Selama proses pembelajaran, guru kelas menggunakan media visual seperti gambar benda dan media audio visual berupa video penjelasan dan film animasi pendek yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan literasi visual dan keterampilan memirsa kritis peserta didik.KATA KUNCI: keterampilan memirsa; model pembelajaran; pendidikan dasar; keterampilan makro kelima ANALYSIS OF VIEWING LEARNING MODEL IMPLEMENTATION AT THE STAGE OF LANGUAGE COGNITIVE SKILLS AGED 6-7 YEARS ABSTRACT: Viewing skill, also known as the 5th macro skill, is a complementary part of other skills in teaching Indonesian, which challenges teachers to implement. This is part of the requirements in the Independent Curriculum to overcome the learning crisis. Researchers are interested in conducting qualitative research at SD Muhammadiyah Borobudur, Magelang Regency. The methods used are natural observation, interviews, and field notes. The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of viewing skills in grade 1 for one month (20 working days). Based on the research results, it was found that viewing skills were only applied as much as 50% (10 working days) in the five subjects taught in the class, namely P5, Mathematics, Indonesian, Character Education, and SBK. During the learning process, the class teacher uses visual media such as pictures of objects and audio-visual media in the form of explanatory videos and short animated films designed to improve students' visual literacy and critical viewing skills.KEYWORDS: viewing skills; learning model; primary education; fifth macro skills

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to transform Islamic learning materials from books into an educational board game format at Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an (TPQ) Baitul Khoir Jetakan, Jogonegoro, Mertoyudan. This initiative was designed to create an effective learning process and to foster a character of perseverance among the students. Board games were chosen as an alternative, interactive, and enjoyable learning medium, expected to increase children's motivation and enthusiasm for learning Islamic teachings. The program's implementation showed positive results: 7 children aged from early childhood education (PAUD) to 2nd grade elementary school, who previously only mastered the Pillars of Islam and some names of angels, now successfully memorized all the Pillars of Faith, Pillars of Islam, names of angels, and 3-5 daily prayers. Meanwhile, 15 children aged 3rd-6th grade elementary school successfully memorized the names of prophets along with their miracles, popular Islamic history, 6-10 daily prayers, and were able to correctly practice ablution (wudhu) and prayer (shalat). This game also significantly encouraged social interaction and cooperation among students, supporting the formation of an Islamic character of "perseverance." It is concluded that the transformation of knowledge through board games at TPQ Baitul Khoir was effective in enhancing basic Islamic knowledge and cultivating a character of perseverance in the students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation of the Watching-Based Learning Model as a multimodal learning approach in Grade IV at SD IT Muhammadiyah Bandongan. This research employed a qualitative design using naturalistic observation supported by interviews and field notes collected over one month. The findings indicate that the multimodal learning model has been implemented at a level of 40%. Within this framework, visual representation accounts for 80% and audiovisual representation for 20%. In terms of multimodal literacy, visual literacy contributes 60% while critical multimodal literacy constitutes 40%. The visual literacy phase is identified as the initial stage, where students demonstrate comprehension of simple and familiar multimodal texts with predictable structures. In contrast, the critical multimodal literacy phase is positioned at the exploratory stage, where students begin to integrate strategies to interpret the content, purpose, and form of multimodal texts. The model is supported by three dominant media: textbooks (61%), PowerPoint (31%), and wall crafts (8%). This study highlights the relevance of multimodal learning in enhancing elementary students’ literacy development by integrating diverse media and literacy phases. The implications suggest that a balanced incorporation of visual and critical multimodal literacy can strengthen students’ comprehension and interpretation skills, offering valuable insights for curriculum development and classroom practice in primary education.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengetahui bentuk tesyang dilakukan oleh guru, (2) mengkaji kendala dan hambatan gurudalam pelaksanaan tes berbasis komputer, (3) mengeksplorasikebutuhan guru terhadap tes berbasis komputer. Penelitian initermasuk dalam penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Metode yangdigunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu survei dengan menggunakan 43guru kelas 4 dan 5 sekolah dasar di kecamatan Secang sebagairesponden. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket. Teknik analisis datamenggunakan analisis statistika deskriptif. Hasil penelitian inimenunjukkan bahwa: (1) tes yang diterapkan sekolah di kecamatanSecang mayoritas masih menggunakan tes berbasis kertas, (2) Kendalayang dihadapi guru dalam penyusunan tes berbasis komputer yaituminimnya wawasan dan pengalaman guru dalam tes berbasiskomputer serta sarana dan prasarana yang belum memadai untukmelaksanakan tes berbasis komputer, (3) Kebutuhan guru akan tesberbasis komputer yaitu: Pertama, guru membutuhkan wawasantentang pembuatan tes berbasis komputer yang mudah untuk disusundan diterapkan dalam pembelajaran. Kedua, perlu adanya saranayang memadai untuk melaksanakan tes berbasis komputer. Ketiga,soal tes dapat disusun melalui perangkat yang sederhana dan mudahuntuk dioperasikan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Course Review Horay learning with the help ofletter puzzle media on the vocabulary mastery of second grade students at SD NegeriSurodadi 3 Candimulyo.This study uses a pre-experimental design method type one group pretest-posttest design(single group initial test-posttest). The subjects in this study were saturated samples ortotal samples, namely by involving data collection carried out using the pretest posttestresult assessment technique. The validation test of the pretest posttest results assessmentinstrument was carried out using expert validation. The instrument research test uses avalidity test to test the results of the pretest posttest from the out-of-sample test results,while the instrument reliability test uses the Cronbach Alpha formula. Hypothesis testusing wilcoxon test. Data analysis used non-parametric statistical techniques, namely thez-test or z-test with the help of the IBM SPSS Statistics 22 program.The results of the research data using the z-test or the Wilcoxon signed test, whichobtained a Z value of -3.559 and an asymp sig value. (2-tailed) 0.001 is less than 5% (0.05).Based on the results of data analysis, the average pretest value was 52.5, while the posttestscore was 77.5. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of CourseReview Horay learning aided by letter puzzle media has an effect on students' vocabularymastery.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model assisted by Media Card Types on the Beginning Reading Ability of second grade students at SD Negeri Trasan 2, Bandongan District, Magelang Regency. This study uses a Pre- Experimental Design research type with the One Group Pretest Posttest Design model. The research subjects were selected using a non-probability sampling saturated sampling model. The samples taken were 16 students. by using data collection methods in the form of performance tests. Data analysis using parametric statics techniques, namely Paired Sample t Test. The results showed that the average calculation of the posttest performance test was 76.56 which was greater than the pretest performance test results with an average value of 47.85. This is evidenced by the results of the Wilcoxon test analysis which shows Zcount of -4.436 with a significance value of 0.00 <0.05, meaning that there is a significant difference between the results of the pretest and posttest using the Think Pair Share (TPS) Learning Model assisted by Media Card Sort. The results of this study can be concluded that the use of Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model assisted by Media Card Sort has a significant effect on Beginning Reading Ability.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize student active participation in learning the Indonesian Language Learning Evaluation course during the Corona lockdown by implementing several learning media, namely Schoology, Zoom, and Faststone. This study applies a classroom action research method. The object of this research is students taking the Indonesian Language Learning Evaluation course in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education study program, FKIP, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta which consists of 207 students who are divided into 5 classes, namely A, B, C, D, and E with each of them. The number of students in each class is 45 for classes A, B, C, and D, and 27 students for class E. The results of the study in cycle 1 show that the level of student participation in classes A, B, C, D, and E is 84%, 82 %, 56%, 64% and 93%. Cycle 2 shows an increase in the participation rate of students in classes A, B, C, D, and E, respectively, 91%, 80%, 82%, 84%, and 59%. Cycle 3 shows that the participation rate of students in classes A, B, C, D, and E has changed, namely 84%, 100%, 76%, 95%, and 67%.
