Abstract

Sanitasi lingkungan menjadi momok bagi setiap daerah dengan kepadatan penduduk yang tinggi, termasuk di Kelurahan Akehuda. Rendahnya pengetahuan dan kepedulian masyarakat khususnya ibu rumah tangga terhadap lingkungan menjadi penyebabnya. Sampah menjadi salah satu permasalahan utama yang mendesak karena pasokannya bersifat kontinu. Umumnya, Sampah rumah tangga tidak dipilah dan langsung diangkut ke TPA melalui bak sampah bahkan sebagian berakhir pada selokan air di sekitar rumah. Dalam jangka panjang, Kondisi ini dikhawatirkan akan berdampak pada kenyamanan lingkungan tempat tinggal dan juga menjadi sarang penyakit. Melihat kondisi tersebut, dipandang perlu untuk dilakukan pendampingan ke warga setempat khususnya ibu rumah tangga terkait cara pengolahan sampah yang ramah lingkungan, praktis dan bernilai ekonomis. Metode yang dinilai tepat dengan kondisi tersebut adalah pengolahan sampah dengan menggunakan metode keranjang takakura. Hasil Kegiatan pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga dengan metode Takakura di Kelurahan Akehuda dinyatakan sukses. Keberhasilan kegiatan PKM ini ditandai dengan produk Takakura yang dihasilkan berupa kompos Takakura yang berwarna cokelat, tidak berbau dan tidak terdapat belatung. hasil Pupuk ini kemudian dibagikan oleh ibu ibu rumah tangga sebagai peserta kegiatan dan sebagian dijadikan sebagai media tanam vertikultur. Harapannya kedepan, ketrampilan ini dapat terus dikembangkan sehingga dapat disebarluaskan ke tetangga, kerabat maupun orang lain.

Abstract

Capture fisheries are inherently risky considering the resources used are shared, open management, and dependent on weather, seasons, migration patterns, and fish characteristics. This uncertainty can cause income fluctuations both in terms of time and quantity, which have a significant impact on the quality of life of fishing communities, including in the research location. With this background, research related to the analysis of factors that influence the income of tuna fishermen is very important. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with a snowball sampling technique totaling 11 people. The data collection instrument uses observation sheets, documentation and open interviews as primary data sources in this study. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers in Galala Village, it was found that in sequence the most influential factors were fishermen's working capital, followed by fuel oil, tuna prices, fishermen's labor, fishermen's work experience on their income. Weather factors, fish prices, tend to fluctuate so that it is difficult to predict the catch that fishermen will get after going to sea. However, other factors can be managed well through investment in operational costs and adequate fishing equipment by the government so that the volume of catch increases.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the validity of the environmental education e-module based on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) to foster environmental awareness of Educational Geography students at Khairun University. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. This research was conducted only at three stages of the five stages of the ADDIE model, namely analyze, design and development, while the implementation and evaluation stages were not carried out because this research and development was only limited to the development stage which was focused on the validity test process. The data analysis techniques used in this research were qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. Qualitative descriptive analysis was used to process data reviews from material/content experts and media and design experts which were used to revise the development product. While quantitative descriptive analysis was used to process the data obtained through validation sheets. The results of this research showed that the validity value of the material/content expert validator and media and design experts on the environmental education e-module based on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) that was developed had very valid, therefore it is suitable to use in the learning process. This can be seen from the validity of the e-module material/content feasibility reaching a score of 91.25% and the validity of the media and design feasibility reaching a score of 90.38%. In addition, the e-module is also packaged using the Flipcreator Platform which displays text, images, animations, and videos so that it is interesting to learn and easy for students to use anytime and anywhere independently in order to foster an attitude of caring for the environment.

Abstract

Inovasi perkotaan untuk mendukung smart city dapat dimulai dengan merubah pola hidup yang berkelanjutan dari dimensi lingkungan. Salah satu diantaranya adalah perilaku mengelola sampah. Permasalahan sampah tidak hanya terbatas pada kebersihan maupun estetis kota, melainkan lebih dari itu terdapat permasalahan besar jika pengelolaan sampah tidak dilakukan secara optimal, misalnya anggaran besar dalam pengelolaannya, kerusakan lingkungan dan penyebab bencana di perkotaan. Terutama jika pengelolaan kurang optimal di sekitar kawasan wisata, masyarakat cenderung enggan untuk berwisata dengan kualitas lingkungan yang buruk akibat sampah. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) Kubermas ini bertujuan untuk membentuk pola pikir sadar sampah serta memotivasi masyarakat untuk secara bersama-sama dengan mahasiswa peserta Kubermas untuk mengelola sampah dengan memanfaatkan bank sampah berbasis komunitas dan mengoptimalkannya untuk mengelola kawasan wisata. Metode pelaksanaan PkM Kubermas adalah melakukan observasi untuk memahami kondisi, permasalahan dan kebutuhan mitra, melakukan koordinasi dengan mitra, perancangan kegiatan berdasarkan hasil observasi dan koordinasi, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan PkM adalah telah dilaksanakan program Bank Sampah dengan membentuk pengurus bank sampah dan kegiatan bazar tukar sampah dalam rangka pemberdayaan masyarakat untuk pengelolaan sampah, penataan kawasan wisata dan konservasi Pulo Tareba, serta edukasi dan sosilisasi pengelolaan sampah 3R di SDN 64 Kota Ternate yang berada di kelurahan Takome.

Abstract

This community service aims to instill awareness of the importance of protecting the environment in grade 5 students of SD Islamiyah 1 Ternate City through plastic waste recycling activities. This activity involves providing material on waste management, waste sorting practices, and making accessories from plastic waste. The results showed a significant increase in students' knowledge about waste and their skills in recycling. Students enthusiastically participated in the activities and succeeded in creating valuable products from waste that was previously considered useless. This not only increases students' knowledge and skills, but also fosters an attitude of caring for the environment. This activity is in line with the independent learning curriculum which emphasizes character development and student independence. By integrating waste management into the curriculum, schools can create a learning environment that supports environmentally friendly living habits. As with the goals of the SDGs, namely quality education, responsible consumption and production, and action against climate change. Overall, this study succeeded in instilling a spirit of love for the environment in students from an early age. This activity is not only beneficial for students, but also contributes to environmental conservation efforts. Through this activity, it is hoped that students can become agents of change and invite the surrounding environment to participate in preserving the environment.

Abstract

Revitalisasi media pembelajaran berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI) menjadi solusi inovatif bagi guru Geografi SMA Kota Ternate untuk menghadapi tantangan pembelajaran di era digital. Program pelatihan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam memanfaatkan platform desain Canva dan Wepik berbasis AI untuk menciptakan media ajar yang interaktif dan kreatif. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui workshop dengan metode simulasi, praktik dan monitoring, melibatkan perwakilan guru dari seluruh SMA di kota ternate yang tergabung dalam MGMP Geografi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kompetensi guru baik dari segi skill design, literasi digital maupun kreativitas dari kedua web tersebut, dengan rata-rata kenaikan skor sebesar 81,4% pada post-test, serta kemampuan menghasilkan media pembelajaran seperti poster tematik, infografis, dan presentasi interaktif. Fitur AI seperti Magic Design (Canva) dan Auto-Layout (Wepik) memudahkan guru dalam membuat konten edukasi secara efisien. Dampak program meliputi efisiensi waktu penyusunan media ajar dan keterhubungan platform pendidikan. Keberlanjutan kegiatan direncanakan melalui pembuatan komunitas daring untuk berbagi template dan praktik baik. Lebih lanjut Studi ini juga membuktikan bahwa integrasi AI dalam media pembelajaran dapat menjadi strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di daerah urban seperti Ternate.

Abstract

Kota Ternate merupakan kota yang paling maju dan sentra dari kegiatan perekonomian di Provinsi Maluku Utara. Hal ini membuat Kota Ternate menjadi salah satu kota yang paling tinggi jumlah penduduknya. Hal ini pula membawa suatu permasalahan baru terhadap lingkungan yaitu meningkatnya jumlah timbulan sampah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat pemetaan terhadap wilayah yang beresiko penyakit akibat timbulan sampah. Metode yang digunakan untuk menentukan daerah yang beresiko penyakit yaitu dengan geospatial analysis melalui buffer dan overlay analysis peta jumlah penduduk, jarak timbulan sampah dengan rumah tinggal warga, jarak dari sumur, jarak dari fasilitas kesehatan, jarak dari sungai, jumlah penduduk usia rentan, dan tingkat pendidikan penduduk. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu pemetaan yang menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis yang menunjukkan lokasi yang rentan terhadap penyakit akibat timbulan sampah. Kata Kunci: Pemetaan, Resiko, Sampah, Penyakit, SIG.

Abstract

Along with massive technological developments, the need for work support automatically becomes unavoidable. Artificial intelligence (AI) is here to answer this need, including in the world of education. In schools, teachers are faced with the problem of improving the quality of adaptive and inclusive learning. Of course, this quality improvement must be supported by learning devices and media that are interesting and appropriate to students' needs. However, making conventional learning tools will be very energy and time consuming, not to mention the limited resources available. Referring to this condition, this PKM activity was carried out with the aim of making learning tools more efficient through the use of AI. This is of course in line with the spirit of the vision of an independent curriculum, namely realizing education that is relevant and supported by technology. The target audience for this activity is high school geography teachers throughout Ternate City who are members of the Geography MGMP. This activity is held at SMAN 5 Ternate City. The use of a variety of AI-based Google service products will be introduced in this activity through a tutorial/practice method directly with the teacher. The stages in this PKM activity include preparation, implementation, evaluation, data analysis and reporting. The focus in this service activity is innovation and technology transfer to teachers in developing learning tools according to the demands of 21st century learning.
