Abstract

Elementary schools with inclusive education programs are a challenge for school principals and teachers in educational institutions. Inclusive education in elementary schools needs to get more attention considering that elementary school students still need intensive attention from educators coupled with the presence of students with special needs, of course it is not easy to achieve learning goals. The aim of this research was to observe and describe the phenomena that occur in the implementation of inclusive education in elementary schools. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, describing facts or circumstances related to the implementation of conventional and juridical foundations in the implementation of inclusive education in elementary schools in Bungo district. The research results show that there is a mismatch in educational services and facilities for ABK, such that services should be adjusted to the individual needs of children according to their abilities. As a solution, researchers suggest that schools, related agencies and the government pay further attention so that the educational rights of every child, including ABK, can be fulfilled optimally in accordance with applicable regulations.

Abstract

Children with disabilities have different learning needs from children in general and tend to experience learning difficulties. Therefore, teachers need to carry out appropriate assessments in order to meet the learning needs of each student, including students with disabilities. The method used in this research is a literature review study or literature review. Literature study is a research design used to collect data sources related to a topic found in the field. Data collection for the literature study was carried out using the Google Scholar search tool. The filtering results that were appropriate and needed were 5 National Journal articles based on the articles found and analyzed. The results of this research are the benefits of assessment in the education of children with special needs, namely to obtain information about students, which later the information collected can be used as treatment or action taken by schools and teachers in providing services and improvements to students in the process. learn according to the conditions of each individual.

Abstract

Special needs education poses a challenge in the realm of education, as not all schools are willing to accept children with special needs into their educational environments. The implementation of special needs education in Indonesia takes two forms: segregative and mainstream. Educators dealing with special needs children often experience emotional pressures, making it crucial to employ an approach that aids educators in managing their emotions. This paper aims to elucidate the Service Approach for Children with Special Needs in the Learning Process at Elementary Schools, utilizing a literature review method by analyzing various relevant sources. There are generally two approaches to educational services for children with special needs: group/classical approach and individual approach.

Abstract

This research focuses on children with special needs who are physically disabled (physically disabled) with the aim of increasing the students' self-confidence in participating in learning activities. The method used is qualitative descriptive. The analysis technique used was interviews and going directly into the field. The results of the research explained that students who experienced physical disabilities after birth were able to interact freely with their peers, had self-confidence when in class, and were active in learning activities. So students who have physical disabilities can also attend normal schools with the same facilities as normal children.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the educational facilities at SDN 036/II Sarana Jaya. to improve learning for students with special needs. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with interviews and documentation. The research subjects are Mrs. Reni Maryani as the class teacher at SDN 036/II Saran Jaya and the 5th grade students at SDN 036/II Sarana Jaya. Meanwhile, the research object is the implementation of the learning process at SDN 036/II Saran Jaya. From this research, it was concluded that at SDN 036/II Sarana Jaya, children with special needs (speech impaired) in Bungo Regency received facilities according to their needs, namely in the form of communication boards that made it easier for the children to express what they wanted to convey.

Abstract

The launch of inclusive education in Indonesia with the aim of facilitating the educational needs of children with special needs (ABK) has been widely implemented throughoutIndonesia. Its implementation has found many obstacles or problems experienced by teachers and schools in implementing inclusive education at the elementary school level. The research subjects were teachers who taught at schools providing inclusive education. Data was obtained through an open-ended questionnaire (open questions). The research design used uses an indigeneous psychology approach, part of the scientific approachtradition, where an importand aspect in this approach is the effort to find appropriate methods to uncover phenomena in an investigation. The results of the research show that there are various problems encountered by teachers relate to the readiness of the school itself, such as the lack of teachers competence in dealing with ABK students, problems related to the lack of parental concern for ABK, in addition to the large number of ABK students in one class, and the lack of cooperation from various parties such as the community, experts professionals and government.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the rights obtained by children with Autism in Public Elementary Schools in Bungo Regency. Autism is a developmental disorder that affects social interactions, communication, and individual behavior. Although children with autism have rights that need to be recognized and fulfilled in an educational environment. This research uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and observation as data collection methods. This research was carried out on 6th grade students with autism at the Elementary School in Muara Bungo, totaling 2 students. The results of this research show that children with Autism in Public Elementary Schools in Bungo Regency have rights that need to be recognized and fulfilled, such as; inclusive education, specialized support, participation, protection and full development are important rights for children with Autism.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze public perceptions of ABK who attend public schools. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection techniques include: observation, interviews included in the questionnaire data, and documentation. The research subjects or informants are the surrounding community. The results of the research show that the public's perception of children with special needs (ABK) who attend public schools is that parents' (community) attention to children with special needs is 60%, parents' (community) understanding of children with special needs is 87% and the importance of service quality according to parents (community) towards children with special needs is 93%. In accordance with Law Number 20 of 2003, CHAPTER IV article (5) paragraph (1), that every citizen has the same right to obtain quality education.

Abstract

Education is a conscious effort to prepare students through learning activities, guidance and practice to achieve knowledge that will be useful in the future. This research aims to determine the level of intervention services in the education of children with special needs. Intervention is an activity to stimulate children's basic abilities carried out on children who are slow or who have risk factors with the aim of catching up so that the deviations that occur do not get worse, or so that the obstacles that occur do not have a negative impact on subsequent development. This research uses a qualitative approach with in-depth research and observation as data collection methods. This research was conducted on students with certain disabilities in Bungo Regency by involving children with special needs in Bungo Regency. The level of intervention services carried out and followed up is in accordance with the limitations of the child with special needs.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe ways to improve intervention services for children with special needs at SKB 31/II State Elementary School. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques include: observation and interviews. The subject of this research is a special supervising teacher for ABK. The research results show that in developing intervention services there are several things that need to be considered and considered, namely population, area, continuous services, and theoretical basis. By developing this program, the quality of intervention services for children with special needs in elementary schools can be improved.
