Abstract

The number of cases of the Covid-19 virus in Indonesia, especially Medan, has increased. Almost every day the number of PDP (Patients Under Supervision) or positive patients continues to increase. Medan city has set an emergency status for the corona Covid-19 virus since Mid-March and Medan Johor district sice early April has been designated as one of the sub-districts with the status of the Red Zone. To minimize its spread, the government is promoting a “Mask For ALL” program. The program is in line with the appeal of the centers for disease control and prevention, which recommends wearing masks for everyone who want to leave the house. Due to limited number of masks that are ideal for preventing the corona virus, cloth masks can also used as an option to protect against exposure to the corona virus. This is considered better than not wearing a mask at all when coughing and sneezing or when near other people who may have been infected with the corona virus. Fabric masks can be produced by sewing houses by using the patchwork they have. Becauses the materials in making masks do not require a lot of material, patchwork can be used and people who have sewing houses are also helped in the corona pandemic.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Dukungan keluarga merupakan hal yang sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kemampuan perawatan diri pada orang denggan gangguan jiwa meliputi : dukungan emosional, dukungan informasional, dukungan instrumental dan dukungan penilaian dan untuk tingkat kemampuan perawatan diri meliputi : mandi , berpakaian, makan dan BAB/BAK. Desain penelitian ini kuanttaif dengan metode korelasional. Tujuan: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat kemampuan perawatan diri ODGJ di Medan Sunggal. Metode: Jumlah sampel sebanyak 18 responden dengan teknik purposive sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan kuesioner. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dukungan keluarga yang di terima responden sebagian besar mendapatkan dukungan keluarga yang baik sebanyak 12 orang (66,7%) yang cukup sebanyak 6 orang (33,3%) dan mayoritas tingkat kemampuan perawatan diri yang di dapatkan yakni membutuhkan peralatan atau alat bantu sebanyak 9 orang (50%). Hasil uji Spearmen terdapat hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat kemampuan perawatan diri pada orang dengan gangguan jiwa di Medan Sunggal yaitu nilai p = 0,03 (< 0,05) dengan kekuatan hubungannya kuat dan arah hubungan positif yaitu nilai r = 0,664. Kesimpulan: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi dukungan keluarga maka tingkat kemampuan perawatan diri ODGJ juga semakin meningkat. Diharapkan keluarga dapat memberikan dukungan keluarga yang baik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan perawatan diri orang dengan gangguan jiwa (ODGJ). Saran: Saran yang terdapat pada penelitian ini adalah diharapkan agar dapat menggunakan penelitian ini sebagai acuan untuk menambah wawasan dan memperluas kajian tentang dukungan keluarga yang meliputi dukungan emosional, informasional, instrumental, penilaian dan tingkat kemampuan perawatan diri ODGJ yang meliputi mandi, berpakaian, makan dan eliminasi sehingga dapat meningkatkan penyuluhan atau pendidikan kesehatan secara integral kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

Masalah-masalah yang timbul selama pembelajaran dengan media daring selama pandemi Covid-19 yang dirasakan siswa akibat kejenuhan belajar seperti siswa menjadi suka marah-marah, tidak peduli terhadap tugas-tugas, tidak peduli dengan nilai, bosan, mudah tersinggung, gelisah, merasa gagal, merasa rendah diri, sering susah tidur, mudah sakit dan bahkan mengakibatkan stress.Kejenuhan belajar merupakan reaksi fisik dan psikis terhadap suatu tuntutan belajar dan dapat menimbulkan ketegangan, mengganggu stabilitas belajar serta mempengaruhi sistem hormonal tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeindetifikasi hubungan kejenuhan belajar dengan stress akademik, Mengidentifikasi kejenuhan belajar, Mengidentifikasi stres akademik pada remaja dimasa pandemi covid-19 di SMA 1 Kuala Kab Langkat. Teknik sampling purposivesampling yaitu pengambilan sampel berdasarkan kriteria tertentu dengan jumlah sampel yaitu 74 siswa.Instrumen penelitian yaitu lembar data demografi dan kuesioner hubungan kejenuhan belajar dengan stres akademik pada remaja dimasa pandemi COVID-19.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada data kategori reponden mayoritas prempuan (56,76%) usia 16 tahun (96,94%) pekerjaan orang tua petani/peternak (35,13%),pendapatan orang tua Rp2.700.000-Rp5.000.000 (66,22%),sistem belajar sendiri (81,08%) dan lama belajar 30-60 menit (48,65%) lalu analisis hubungan kejenuhan belajar dengan stres akademik pada remaja dimasa pandemi covid di SMA 1 Kuala Kab Langkat dengan menggunakan Uji Spearman diperoleh nilai p=0,001, angka ini lebih kecil dari nilai a (alpha)= 0,05 sehingga disimpulkan terdapat hubungan antara kejenuhan belajar dengan stres akademik pada remaja dimasa pandemi covid di SMA 1 Kuala Kab Langkat

Abstract

Kesehatan jiwa merupakan hal yang penting dalam kehidupan individu. Individu tidak hanya harus sehat secara fisik tetapi juga sehat secara psikologis. Dewasa ini peningkatan angka penderita gangguan jiwa sangat memprihatinkan akibat krisis multi dimensi masyarakat Indonesia. Untuk itu dibutuhkan suatu lingkungan yang memiliki masyarakat peduli tentang kesehatan jiwa, dengan memberdayakan keluarga dalam mendeteksi gangguan jiwa secara dini. Metode pengabdian dilakukan dengan penyegaran materi pada keluarga melalui penyuluhan dan simulasi dengan memberikan contoh, role play dan demonstrasi terkait cara-cara mengkaji dan mendeteksi gangguan jiwa pada klien di masyarakat. Kegiatan dilakukan dalam waktu 1 bulan pada masyarakat di Lingkungan I dan Lingkungan V Kelurahan Sari Rejo Kecamatan Medan Polonia. Hasil yang didapat sangat bermanfaat dan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya kesehatan jiwa sehingga dapat mengantisipasi dan menangani masalah-masalah kesehataan jiwa yang berkembang di masyarakat. Lingkungan sehat jiwa ini dapat dimulai dengan pemberdayaan keluarga dalam melakukan deteksi dini kasus gangguan jiwa di masyarakat. Keluarga merupakan orang pertama dan utama yang dapat mendeteksi kesehatan anggota keluarganya sendiri. Lingkungan yang memiliki masyarakat peduli tentang kesehatan jiwa, mampu mendeteksi kasus kesehatan jiwa dan menanggulangi masalah yang terjadi.

Abstract

Remaja adalah makhluk sosial yang sedang belajar keterampilan sosial. Tugas-tugas perkembangan pada masa remaja harus dioptimalkan agar tidak mudah mengalami gangguan pikiran, perasaan maupun perilaku. Stres, kesedihan, kecemasan, kesepian, keraguan pada diri remaja membuat mereka mengambil resiko dengan melakukan kenakalan. Kenakalan remaja yang ada di Kecamatan Medan Amplas dan Medan Johor sangat bervariasi. Berdasarkan wawancara dengan kepala lingkungan IX Medan Amplas dan kepala lingkungan XIII Medan Johor, bentuk kenakalan remaja mulai dari yang ringan seperti terlambat, membolos, merokok, menyontek sampai yang tindak kriminal seperti mencuri, perkelahian dan membully teman. Untuk menangani masalah perkembangan yang dihadapi remaja diperlukan pendekatan terapi kelompok terapeutik. Terapi kelompok terapeutik merupakan pilihan ideal dan penting bagi kelompok umur ini. Mereka menjadi mampu belajar antar satu sama lain sesuai perkembangan mereka (Wood, 2009), dapat membantu remaja dalam memenuhi kebutuhannya secara positif, bermakna bagi kelompok sebaya dan pembentukan identitas diri (Stuart & Laraia, 2005)

Abstract

Family member with mental illness causes inferiority, shamefulness, and minimal function in the community.  In some cases, mentally ill patients withdrawn from interaction and refuse to communicate.  The objective of the research was to analyze the correlation between self-esteem and social interaction in the family with mentally ill patients in Kelurahan Medan Sunggal, Medan. This was a descriptive quantitative study with correlation method. The samples were 18 family members who suffered from a mental disorder, with purposive sampling technique. The data collection using questionnaires and data analyses is undergone with univariate analysis and frequency distribution.  The bivariate analysis applied Spearman's Rho test. The result of the research showed that 15 respondents (83.3%) had high self-esteem and 11 respondents (61.1%) had a good social interaction. There was a significant correlation between self-esteem and social interaction in a family with a mentally ill patient (P-value = 0.012) with positive direction (r = 0.576). It is concluded that a high self-esteem correlates well with the social interaction among the family members with mental illness. It is recommended for family members to maintain their self-esteem and social interaction capacity. A mentally disorder person should get social support from family, health care providers, the government, and society.

Abstract

Mental disorder is a serious health problem. It is a chronic disease that requires long healing. The factors of education, information, income, and stigma experienced by family can avoid the behavior in caring people with mental disorders that has been carried out. Thus, it impacts the care and treatment given to them. The purpose of this systematic review is to identify family behavior in caring for people with mental disorders during Covid-19. This study was conducted with a systematic method by reviewing the literature obtained from Google Scholar, Sciencedirect, PubMed, Proquest and Research Gate. Three keywords were used to get some relevant literature. As a result, the author obtained eight literature matching the author's criteria made by using the systematic review method. The most affecting factor for healing quality of people with mental disoder is their family's action in caring them. Health education is very influential on family's knowledge. Educational factor and information determine family behavior in seeking treatment. Providing adequate information and health education about mental disorders for families is necessary to avoid any faults while seeking medical assistance.

Abstract

The spread of the COVID-19 disease has made the government issue an online learning process policy to break the virus spread chain. Online learning is a new learning method, and students are not used to it. They are struggling to the learning concept and do not understand how to use the supporting applications of online learning. If the students keep feeling anxious and distressed, they will be stressed out. This study was conducted to determine students' perception of online learning and their stress level during the COVID-19 pandemic at Senior Highschool 3 Sibolga (SMA Negeri 3 Sibolga). This study used a descriptive quantitative research design and univariate analysis. Samples were obtained using the Probability Sampling method, which is Simple Random Sampling. By using the method, 86 respondents were obtained. The instrument research is questionnaires on the perception of online learning. The results showed that 51 students (59.3%) perceived online learning negatively. In contrast, 35 students (40.7%) perceived online learning positively. In terms of stress level, 75 students (87.2%) have moderate stress, 3 students (3.5%) have mild stress, and 8 students (9.3%) have heavy stress. The study results recommend that community health centers education and guidance to the students on dealing with stress during online learning at school.

Abstract

The increase in the number of COVID-19 cases has had a negative impact on everyone's mental health, including vulnerable groups of the elderly and people with mental disorders. This is because the elderly and people with mental disorders have difficulty adjusting and are unfamiliar with their social environment. The purpose of this service is to provide support through family psychoeducation to minimize the psychological impact on vulnerable groups. Lecture and discussion methods are used to increase family knowledge in caring for the elderly and mental disorders. To measure the psychological condition of the vulnerable group, the SRQ-20 questionnaire was used and analyzed statistically (dependent t-test). Role play and simulation methods are used to improve family skills in caring for, managing burdens and utilizing health services. The results showed that there was an influence of psychoeducation on the psychological condition of the elderly with p-value <α (0.04<0.05), and for the mental disorder group it also showed that the treatment given in the form of family psychoeducation therapy gave benefits to psychological conditions with p-value <α (0.00). <0.05). This therapy is proven to be effective because it can provide information on the ability of families experiencing distress, provide education to them to improve their ability to understand and have strong coping so that problems do not occur in family relationships.

Abstract

A school age child is someone who is in the age range of 6-12 years and has met the requirements to attend school because of the intellectual development of the child. School-age children usually receive learning at school using the offline method, but during this pandemic this turned into online at home. Currently the government has started implementing the new normal, including several schools that are in the green zone allowed to modify the combined learning method between online and offline. For this reason, it is very necessary to provide education about what behavior should be done by school children after the government later allows offline schools. Efforts that can be made to optimize children's readiness in the new normal are by assisting children to be able to behave with new habits, namely wearing masks, washing hands, using personal tools from home and avoiding crowds. The community service carried out aims to optimize the readiness of school-age children by providing information support about the behavior that children should do during the Covid 19 pandemic. The method is carried out by providing education through leaflets about the adaptation of new normal habits with online and offline media. The results of community service are the results of increasing children's knowledge about habits that must be done in the face of the new normal. The output of the service is in the form of videos, leaflets, data on children's knowledge and mask products with children's characters.
