Abstract

Pemberdayaan perempuan menjadi kunci strategis dalam mendorong kemandirian ekonomi dan pembangunan sosial di tingkat lokal. Program pemberdayaan berbasis komunitas yang dilakukan oleh PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) di Kabupaten Pandeglang bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas perempuan melalui pelatihan kewirausahaan, pendampingan usaha, dan akses permodalan mikro. Pengabdian ini menggunakan pemberdayaan ekonomi untuk menganalisis dampak program yang diluncurkan PT. PNM terhadap kelompok perempuan di beberapa kecamatan di Kabupaten Pandeglang. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa program yang diluncurkan oleh PT. PNM dalam bidang pemberdayaan ekonomi ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan dan kepercayaan diri perempuan dalam mengelola usaha, tetapi juga memperkuat solidaritas sosial dan partisipasi perempuan dalam pengambilan keputusan di komunitas. Hasil penilaian kepuasan terhadap pemberdayaan ekonomi memiliki tingkat kepuasan t mencapai lebih dari 95%. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan program meliputi pendekatan partisipatif, keberlanjutan pendampingan, serta dukungan lokal dari perangkat desa dan kecamatan. Sementara itu, tantangan utama masih ditemukan pada keterbatasan akses informasi dan kesiapan teknologi. Secara keseluruhan, inisiatif pemberdayaan ini berkontribusi nyata terhadap terwujudnya Pandeglang yang berdaya dan mandiri, terutama melalui penguatan peran perempuan sebagai agen perubahan dalam pembangunan desa. Women's empowerment is a strategic key in encouraging economic independence and social development at the local level. The community-based empowerment program carried out by Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) in Pandeglang Regency aims to increase women's capacity through entrepreneurship training, business mentoring, and access to micro-capital. This service uses economic empowerment to analyze the impact of the program launched by PNM on women's groups in several sub-districts in Pandeglang Regency. The results show that the program launched by PNM in the field of economic empowerment not only improves women's skills and confidence in managing businesses but also strengthens social solidarity and women's participation in decision-making in the community. The results of the satisfaction assessment of economic empowerment have a satisfaction level of more than 95%. Supporting factors for the success of the program include a participatory approach, sustainability of mentoring, and local support from village and sub-district officials. Meanwhile, the main challenges are still found in limited access to information and technological readiness. Overall, this empowerment initiative has made a real contribution to the realization of an empowered and independent Pandeglang, especially through strengthening the role of women as agents of change in village development.

Abstract

Desa Cipanas merupakan target lokasi penyuluhan yang sangat baik untuk dikembangkan. Berdasarkan hasil survei yang dilakukan oleh mahasiwa Program Studi Teknologi Pangan Universitas Mathla’ul Anwar kepada masyarakat di desa Cipanas, diperoleh informasi bahwa Pisang merupakan hasil kebun yang sangat melimpah di wilayah tersebut. Selain itu masyarakat desa Cipanas juga pernah menerima bantuan berupa oven dari salah satu Organisasi yang menjalankan program peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat. Dengan adanya momen tersebut, diperlukan kegiatan penyuluhan yang berfokus pada inovasi produk olahan berbahan dasar pisang dengan memanfaatkan perlatan yang telah tersedia, seperti oven. Salah satu produk yang diusulkan adalah banana Crispy, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat desa cipanas sehingga dapat menciptakan nilai ekonomi yang lebih tinggi. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan 3 tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan (pre-test dan uji coba produk), tahap pelaksanaan (pemberian materi, praktek pembuatan produk, dan sesi tanya jawab), dan tahap evaluasi (post-test dan penyusunan laporan). Penyuluhan yang menggabungkan teori dan praktik pengolahan Banana Crispy terbukti dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat Desa Cipanas dalam memproduksi produk tersebut. Sebanyak 88,90% peserta setuju bahwa kegiatan PKM ini dapat menciptakan peluang usaha baru bagi ibu rumah tangga. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini masyarakat mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang lebih baik, sehingga berpotensi meningkatkan pendapatan mereka. Cipanas Village is an excellent target location for the development of outreach activities. Based on a survey conducted by students of the Food Technology Study Program at Mathla’ul Anwar University among the residents of Cipanas Village, it was found that bananas are abundantly produced in the area. In addition, the community of Cipanas Village had previously received assistance in the form of an oven from an organization running a community economic empowerment program. Given this opportunity, it is necessary to carry out outreach activities focusing on product innovation using bananas as the main ingredient by utilizing the available equipment, such as the oven. One of the proposed products is banana crispy, which aims to improve the skills of the Cipanas community and create higher economic value. The implementation method of this Community Service activity consists of three stages: namely The Preparation Stage (Pre-Test and Product Trial), The Implementation Stage (Material Presentation, Product-Making Practice, and Q&A Session), The Evaluation Stage (Post-Test and Report Writing). The outreach program, which combined both theoretical and practical training on banana crispy processing, proved effective in enhancing the knowledge and skills of the Cipanas Village community in producing the product. A total of 88.90% of participants agreed that this Community Service activity (PKM) could create new business opportunities for housewives. Through this activity, the community gained improved knowledge and skills, which have the potential to increase their income.

Abstract

Kepatuhan terhadap standar halal pada rumah potong hewan (RPH) dan rumah potong unggas (RPU) menjadi faktor penting dalam menjamin kualitas dan kepercayaan konsumen terhadap produk pangan asal hewan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendukung proses sertifikasi halal pada RPH Ruminansia Kandang Aqiqah 87 di Kecamatan Cimanuk dan RPU Putra Cikueues di Kecamatan Cisata, Kabupaten Pandeglang. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi regulasi halal, pendampingan teknis penerapan standar penyembelihan sesuai syariat Islam, serta audit lapangan oleh Lembaga Pemeriksa Halal (LPH) LPPOM Provinsi Banten yang berkolaborasi dengan lembaga LP3H Mathlaul Anwar. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa kedua usaha rumah potong tersebut mampu memenuhi persyaratan dasar sertifikasi halal, mulai dari pemisahan fasilitas, penerapan Sistem Jaminan Halal (SJH), hingga kepatuhan terhadap tata cara penyembelihan. Melalui sertifikasi ini, RPH dan RPU diharapkan dapat meningkatkan mutu layanan, kepatuhan terhadap regulasi, serta memberikan jaminan keamanan dan kehalalan produk bagi masyarakat. Pengabdian ini juga menjadi model penerapan sertifikasi halal pada unit pemotongan hewan skala lokal untuk mendukung kemandirian pangan halal di Kabupaten Pandeglang. Compliance with halal standards at slaughterhouses (RPH) and poultry slaughterhouses (RPU) is a crucial factor in ensuring the quality and consumer confidence in animal-derived food products. This community service activity aims to support the halal certification process at the Kandang Aqiqah 87 Ruminant Slaughterhouse in Cimanuk District and the Putra Cikueues Slaughterhouse in Cisata District, Pandeglang Regency. The methods used include dissemination of halal regulations, technical assistance in implementing slaughter standards in accordance with Islamic law, and field audits by the Halal Inspection Institution (LPH) of the Banten Province LPPOM in collaboration with the LP3H Mathlaul Anwar institution. The results of the activity indicate that both slaughterhouse businesses are able to meet the basic requirements for halal certification, starting from the separation of facilities, the implementation of the Halal Assurance System (SJH), and compliance with slaughter procedures. Through this certification, the Slaughterhouse and RPU are expected to improve the quality of service, compliance with regulations, and provide assurance of product safety and halalness to the public. This service also serves as a model for implementing halal certification in local-scale animal slaughterhouses to support halal food independence in Pandeglang Regency.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat - Pemberdayaan Masyarakat oleh Mahasiswa memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan praktik pengelolaan limbah melalui penerapan akuntansi hijau guna mendukung keberlanjutan pangan di Desa Sodong, Kabupaten Pandeglang. Program dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu sosialisasi pentingnya konsep pangan berkelanjutan, pelatihan pengolahan limbah pangan, serta serah terima aset teknologi pengolahan limbah. Aset yang diberikan meliputi mesin cetak paving blok berbahan limbah plastik, mesin pencacah sampah yang telah dimodifikasi, serta teknologi bioenzim sebagai alternatif pengolahan organik. Evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat merespons dengan sangat positif. Respon kepuasan dan antusiasme dari masyarakat menunjukkan kepuasan terhadap program yang telah dilaksanakan. Bantuan berupa teknologi dan inovasi diberikan kepada masyarakat untuk dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan akuntansi hijau tidak hanya memberikan kerangka pengelolaan limbah yang lebih sistematis, tetapi juga mendorong partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam menjaga keberlanjutan pangan desa. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi model pengabdian masyarakat yang berkelanjutan dan dapat direplikasi di desa lain yang memiliki permasalahan serupa. The community service program, Community Service – Community Empowerment by Students, aims to increase awareness and practice of waste management through the application of green accounting to support food sustainability in Sodong Village, Pandeglang Regency. The program is implemented through several stages, namely socialization of the importance of the concept of sustainable food, training in food waste processing, and the handover of waste processing technology assets. The assets provided include a paving block printing machine made from plastic waste, a modified waste shredder, and bioenzyme technology as an alternative to organic processing. The evaluation of the activity shows that the community responded very positively. The response of satisfaction and enthusiasm from the community indicates satisfaction with the program that has been implemented. Assistance in the form of technology and innovation is provided to the community for optimal utilization. These results confirm that the application of green accounting not only provides a more systematic waste management framework but also encourages active community participation in maintaining village food sustainability. Thus, this activity is expected to become a model of sustainable community service and can be replicated in other villages with similar problems.

Abstract

Noni (Morinda citrifolia) is a popular plant in Asian countries and has great potential as pectin source for thickening agents in food products. In general, ethanol has been widely used to precipitate pectin, but the proportion can affect the quality of the product. Therefore, this study aimed to characterize the physicochemical properties of pectin from noni fruit. Extraction was performed using 0.1 N HCl at pH 1.5 and heated at 80°C for 15 min, followed by precipitation with different proportions of 96% ethanol including A (1:1), B (1:2), and C (1:3) v/v, while commercial orange pectin was used as a reference. The results showed that all pectin extracted belonged to the high methoxyl category. The FTIR spectra confirmed the presence of important functional groups including OH-hydroxyl, CH3-saturated aliphatic methyl, C=O carbonyl, and -O- cyclic ether. Furthermore, the crystalline and amorphous structures of noni pectin were confirmed by X-ray diffraction observation. The highest yield was achieved using the proportion of 1:3, followed by 1:2, and 1:1 on a wet basis. The MeO and AUA content of sample B (1:2) were relatively similar to those of the reference. Based on extraction results, noni possesses good characteristics and has the potential for commercial pectin production.
