<![CDATA[School-aged children have a habit of paying less attention to hand washing behavior, especially in the school environment. Although simple and effective, promoting hand washing for disease prevention is still a challenge. The habit of washing hands with soap is still a global concern because people still forget the habit of washing their hands. The focus of the activity is school-aged children who will become "Agents of Change" in the future. This activity was attended by students aged 7-12 years who attended Ai Limung State Elementary School and totaled 54 children. After following this counseling, it is hoped that students will always be able to maintain cleanliness, especially hand hygiene by diligently washing their hands with soap to prevent them from infectious diseases. The level of knowledge of the students after this counseling increased, this can be seen from their fluency in practicing how to wash their hands with soap and answering the questions given properly and correctly. It is hoped that this activity can increase knowledge and increase awareness of Ai Limung State Elementary School students about how important it is to wash your hands with soap to always maintain cleanliness to avoid germs]]>

<![CDATA[Background: The implementation of sanitation standards and cleanliness of the work environment in health care facilities is an absolute must. Hospital Sanitation is an effort by the health care system in hospitals to create clean, comfortable, healthy hospital conditions, prevent cross-infection, and not discuss the environment. Objectives: This study aimed to determine the application of hygiene and sanitation standards to the work environment in health care facilities. Research Metodes: This study uses quantitative methods using a descriptive design. This research was conducted at the Sumbawa Hospital, and the data collection technique used an observation system and a checklist sheet whose results were calculated using a scoring system. The time of study was carried out in November 2021. Results: The results/findings of the study showed that the achievement of implementing environmental sanitation was 90.4%, the achievement of environmental health was 91.6%, and the achievement of environmental sanitation was 92.3%. Conclusion: In conclusion, the study results indicate that the implementation of sanitation and hygiene in the work environment at the Sumbawa Hospital has met the requirements. It's just that there is still a need for improvement in aspects of environmental health implementation, especially in parts of air sanitation and waste management..]]>

<![CDATA[Background: The current COVID-19 pandemic has triggered changes in people's lives and forced the government to implement various policies to overcome the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia. One of the programs initiated to overcome COVID-19 is to seek community immunity (herd immunity) through the Covid-19 vaccination program. However, the government's COVID-19 vaccination program is still experiencing obstacles due to the large amount of information related to the vaccine itself, which triggers public anxiety and various perceptions. Regional differences also help health workers to engage the community. Especially for children. Objective: The problem in this study is how the level of anxiety associated with vaccination of children in the area is compared with the anxiety of mothers in the coastal area. The purpose of this study was to describe parental anxiety related to child vaccination and to compare the anxiety conditions of parents in urban and coastal areas in Sumbawa Regency. Methods: This research uses quantitative research with a comparative study approach. The samples in this study were mothers and children who had undergone COVID-19 vaccination in urban and coastal areas. The sample that meets the research criteria is 80 respondents who are determined by purposive sampling technique which is divided into 2 areas. Results: Based on the results of statistical tests using the Man Whitney Test using SPSS version 16.0, it is known that the significant value obtained is 0.096. Conclusion: There is no significant difference showing the anxiety of parents living in urban and coastal areas in Sumbawa Regency.]]>

<![CDATA[Paradigma pengelolaan sampah yang bertumpu pada pendekatan akhir sudah saatnya ditinggalkan dan diganti dengan paradigma baru pengelolaan sampah.. Paradigma baru memandang sampah sebagai sumber daya yang mempunyai nilai ekonomi dan dapat dimanfaatkan, misalnya untuk energi, kompos, pupuk ataupun untuk bahan baku industry. Salah satu metode pengolahan sampah organik dapur adalah dengan metode eco-enzym. Eco-enzyme adalah hasil dari fermentasi limbah dapur organik seperti ampas buah dan sayuran, dengan substrat gula (gula coklat, gula merah atau gula tebu), dan air. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi proses proses pemberdayaan ibu rumah tangga dalam pembuatan eco-enzym sebagai usaha reduksi sampah organik sisa dapur skala rumah tangga di Desa Baru Tahan, Kecamatan Moyo Utara. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan metode demonstrative partisipatif di lapangan. Pengabdian ini melibatkan mahasiswa sebagai asisten pelaksana teknis. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2022 di Desa Baru Tahan Kecamatan Moyo Utara Kabupaten Sumbawa sebagai desa binaan. Sasaran peserta kegiatan merupakan ibu rumah tangga tangga. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi proses proses pemberdayaan ibu rumah tangga dalam pembuatan eco-enzym sebagai usaha reduksi sampah organik sisa dapur skala rumah tangga di Desa Baru Tahan, Kecamatan Moyo Utara ini berjalan dengan lancar. Masyarakat merasa antusias dalam mengikuti program pemberdayaan ini. <![CDATA[Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an infectious disease caused by the dengue virus which is transmitted from person to person through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. Kauman Hamlet Labuhan Sumbawa Kec. Labuhan Badas Sumbawa NTB is one of the residential areas that has data on dengue fever every year, and in 2021 there were 7 cases of dengue fever. GEBER PSN or Joint Movement for the Eradication of Mosquito Nests. This movement is an effort to prevent the transmission of dengue disease caused by the Aedes aegypti mosquito. The target of this community service activity is the community members of the Kauman Hamlet, Labuhan Sumbawa, Kec. Sumbawa Regency. Sumbawa, with the aim of inviting the community to participate in the Geber PSN activity while the benefits of this community service activity are to increase public awareness about PSN as an Effort to Prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). This activity was held on April 16, 2022 in Kauman Hamlet, Labuhan Sumbawa, Kec. Sumbawa Regency. Sumbawa by involving the community and students of the S1 Public Health Study Program STIKES Griya Husada Sumbawa. The result of this activity is the implementation of Geber PSN (Joint Movement for the Eradication of Mosquito Nests) as an effort to prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in Kauman Hamlet, Labuhan Sumbawa by inviting and increasing public awareness about PSN as an Effort to Prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF).]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract-Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by bacteria (Mycobacterium tuberculosis) and most often attacks the lungs. tuberculosis is transmitted from smear positive TB patients when coughing or sneezing. Patients can spread germs into the air in the form of sputum sprinkling. Prevention of tuberculosis. This service aims to provide an understanding to the public about tuberculosis. The method used is through counseling and prevention of tuberculosis transmission in the Donggo sub-district community. The results of community service that have been carried out in the Donggo sub-district, Bima district, with the prevention of tuberculosis transmission through socialization is the right way to provide information about tuberculosis prevention and practice clean and healthy behavior habits as an effort to reduce and break the chain of tuberculosis spread in the community. The conclusion is that this infectious disease counseling has an influence on insight and increases knowledge and public awareness, especially the elderly. <![CDATA[Unsafe driving behavior can have several negative impacts on society. Motorcyclists who exhibit safe and law-abiding driving behaviors are essential in minimizing the risk of accidents on the road. Perception plays a crucial role in driving safety, as it allows individuals to interpret and comprehend information received through their senses. This ability is crucial in identifying potential hazards and making quick decisions to avoid accidents. This study aims to analyze the influence of perceptions on safe driving behavior. Additionally, it observes the driving behavior of motorcyclists between urban and rural areas in Sumbawa. The research adopts a quantitative approach with a comparative study design. The sample consists of 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling and divided into two regions. The statistical analysis using simple linear regression in SPSS version 16.0 shows a significance value of 0.04 with an 8.1% influence for perception on safe driving behavior. The T-test results for safety riding observations in urban and rural areas in Sumbawa indicate a T-test of 0.886. In conclusion, there is a significant but very weak influence between perception and safe driving behavior. <![CDATA[Pesticides are chemical substances used in agriculture to combat pests and diseases in plants. Improper use of pesticides can pose hazards to human health and the environment. The purpose of this community service is to identify pesticide hazards and provide education to farmers in North Moyo on the safe use of pesticides in crop cultivation. The methods to be employed in this community service include conducting surveys and identification of pesticide use practices in North Moyo, as well as raising awareness about the dangers of pesticides and safe usage methods. The expected outcome of this community service is that farmers in North Moyo will have a better understanding of the hazards of pesticides and safe usage practices, thereby minimizing health and environmental risks in crop cultivation.]]>

<![CDATA[The Primaku application was introduced and launched by the Indonesian Pediatric Association to facilitate early and continuous monitoring of children's growth and development. However, there are still many people who do not understand how to use this technology-based Primaku application. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of the community, especially Posyandu cadres and mothers of toddlers, in monitoring the growth and development of infants and young children to prevent stunting. The problem-solving method is carried out by providing training on how to use the Primaku application and demonstrating how to assess children's growth and development using the Primaku application. Based on the results of the activity, it shows that the participants have good knowledge in understanding and using the Primaku application as a tool to monitor children's growth and development. with this activity, Posyandu cadres and mothers toddler can continue to update the latest information on children's growth and development.]]>

<![CDATA[Gangguan tidur pada remaja semakin meningkat di era digital akibat penggunaan gawai hingga larut malam. Kondisi ini berdampak pada penurunan konsentrasi belajar, kelelahan, dan gangguan emosional. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan perilaku tidur sehat melalui pemanfaatan media digital dalam edukasi sleep hygiene bagi siswa MAN 2 Sumbawa. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2025 dengan metode ceramah interaktif, diskusi, dan penggunaan poster edukatif digital. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk menilai peningkatan pengetahuan siswa. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata pengetahuan sebesar 35% setelah kegiatan. Peserta juga berkomitmen mengurangi penggunaan gawai sebelum tidur dan menjaga jadwal tidur teratur. Pemanfaatan media digital terbukti efektif menarik perhatian remaja dan mempermudah pemahaman materi. Program ini diharapkan dapat diterapkan secara berkelanjutan dalam kegiatan promosi kesehatan di sekolah.]]>
