Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has led to various policies whose purpose is to limit activities and suppress the rate of spread. These restrictions make it difficult for people to seek medical treatment for those who are exposed. The government then introduced telemedicine as an online/virtual medical service that allows medical personnel to provide health services. However, the use of telemedicine is not fully understood by most Indonesians. The purpose of this activity is to increase the understanding and knowledge of the community and foster a sense of trust in the community so that they are willing and able to use telemedicine services as a preventive measure in dealing with certain health conditions. Activities are carried out using the door to door method and involve students as technical implementation assistants. Based on the results of the activity, it is known that before this service activity, the community did not know and did not recognize telemedicine. However, after this activity took place, the community was interested in using the telemedicine application and better understood the benefits of telemedicine.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an infectious disease caused by the dengue virus which is transmitted from person to person through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. Kauman Hamlet Labuhan Sumbawa Kec. Labuhan Badas Sumbawa NTB is one of the residential areas that has data on dengue fever every year, and in 2021 there were 7 cases of dengue fever. GEBER PSN or Joint Movement for the Eradication of Mosquito Nests. This movement is an effort to prevent the transmission of dengue disease caused by the Aedes aegypti mosquito. The target of this community service activity is the community members of the Kauman Hamlet, Labuhan Sumbawa, Kec. Sumbawa Regency. Sumbawa, with the aim of inviting the community to participate in the Geber PSN activity while the benefits of this community service activity are to increase public awareness about PSN as an Effort to Prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). This activity was held on April 16, 2022 in Kauman Hamlet, Labuhan Sumbawa, Kec. Sumbawa Regency. Sumbawa by involving the community and students of the S1 Public Health Study Program STIKES Griya Husada Sumbawa. The result of this activity is the implementation of Geber PSN (Joint Movement for the Eradication of Mosquito Nests) as an effort to prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in Kauman Hamlet, Labuhan Sumbawa by inviting and increasing public awareness about PSN as an Effort to Prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF).

Abstract

Abstract-Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by bacteria (Mycobacterium tuberculosis) and most often attacks the lungs. tuberculosis is transmitted from smear positive TB patients when coughing or sneezing. Patients can spread germs into the air in the form of sputum sprinkling. Prevention of tuberculosis. This service aims to provide an understanding to the public about tuberculosis. The method used is through counseling and prevention of tuberculosis transmission in the Donggo sub-district community. The results of community service that have been carried out in the Donggo sub-district, Bima district, with the prevention of tuberculosis transmission through socialization is the right way to provide information about tuberculosis prevention and practice clean and healthy behavior habits as an effort to reduce and break the chain of tuberculosis spread in the community. The conclusion is that this infectious disease counseling has an influence on insight and increases knowledge and public awareness, especially the elderly. Abstract

The use of clean water for daily and commercial needs will cause an increase in the amount of domestic waste. The increasing amount of domestic wastewater that is not matched by an increase in water bodies can cause problems related to surface water's carrying capacity and capacity. This community service aims to increase public awareness of the importance of domestic wastewater management, which can cause impacts on the environment and health. This service was carried out in Kukin Village, North Moyo District, in June 2021. The method of this community service activity was counseling on the importance of greywater wastewater management by involving 20 respondents who were visited door to door. The service showed that the community's understanding is still minimal regarding domestic wastewater management (greywater) in every home. This was indicated by the percentage of knowledge of the majority of respondents in the fewer categories as much as 65% and the remaining 35% in the good category. In addition, the majority of respondents initially let the greywater wastewater be thrown away as much as the remaining 50%, respectively 15% and 35%, were used for watering the yard and plants. The conclusion in this service is that the management of domestic liquid waste among the target community is still low. This activity can increase citizens' understanding to pay attention to wastewater from households and maintain public health.

Abstract

Unsafe driving behavior can have several negative impacts on society. Motorcyclists who exhibit safe and law-abiding driving behaviors are essential in minimizing the risk of accidents on the road. Perception plays a crucial role in driving safety, as it allows individuals to interpret and comprehend information received through their senses. This ability is crucial in identifying potential hazards and making quick decisions to avoid accidents. This study aims to analyze the influence of perceptions on safe driving behavior. Additionally, it observes the driving behavior of motorcyclists between urban and rural areas in Sumbawa. The research adopts a quantitative approach with a comparative study design. The sample consists of 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling and divided into two regions. The statistical analysis using simple linear regression in SPSS version 16.0 shows a significance value of 0.04 with an 8.1% influence for perception on safe driving behavior. The T-test results for safety riding observations in urban and rural areas in Sumbawa indicate a T-test of 0.886. In conclusion, there is a significant but very weak influence between perception and safe driving behavior. The observation results show no difference in driving behavior between urban and rural areas in Sumbawa

Abstract

Gangguan tidur pada remaja semakin meningkat di era digital akibat penggunaan gawai hingga larut malam. Kondisi ini berdampak pada penurunan konsentrasi belajar, kelelahan, dan gangguan emosional. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan perilaku tidur sehat melalui pemanfaatan media digital dalam edukasi sleep hygiene bagi siswa MAN 2 Sumbawa. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2025 dengan metode ceramah interaktif, diskusi, dan penggunaan poster edukatif digital. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk menilai peningkatan pengetahuan siswa. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata pengetahuan sebesar 35% setelah kegiatan. Peserta juga berkomitmen mengurangi penggunaan gawai sebelum tidur dan menjaga jadwal tidur teratur. Pemanfaatan media digital terbukti efektif menarik perhatian remaja dan mempermudah pemahaman materi. Program ini diharapkan dapat diterapkan secara berkelanjutan dalam kegiatan promosi kesehatan di sekolah.

Abstract

Lack of knowledge about menstruation can be the cause of long-term reproductive health problems and make young women unprepared for menstruation. Unpreparedness to face menarche causes adolescents to have negative responses such as shame, fear, and worry. Community service activities were carried out in July 2022. The activity was attended by 25 students of class V and VI SD Negeri Songkar. The implementation of community service activities used is the dissemination of reproductive health as a preparation for facing menarche. The method used is the lecture method using leaflets, question and answer method and games/ quizzes. Provision of knowledge about reproductive health to elementary school students needs to be done either as an additional subject or in the form of counseling outside of teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (K3) is a program created for workers/laborers and entrepreneurs as a preventive measure for the occurrence of work accidents and diseases due to work relations in the work environment by recognizing things that have the potential to cause work accidents and diseases caused by work. work relationship. One type of work that is prone to accidents and occupational health problems is a waste transport officer. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge of waste transport officers in Raberas about K3, This service activity involves waste transport officers in the Raberas area, the implementation has been carried out in April-May 2022 and involves 15 garbage collectors. The service is carried out starting from preparation to evaluation, the method used in the service is the method of socialization and application (applicative) directly in the field. The evaluation results show that the level of knowledge of officers about Occupational Health and Safety (K3) is still low, with this community service activity it is expected to increase the knowledge and awareness of waste transport officers at the Raberas TPA when carrying out activities because they have a high risk so they must use appropriate PPE. complete and apply a clean and healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

Kendaraan bermotor memberikan banyak manfaat dalam proses transportasi. Kemudahan dalam berkendara dengan sepeda motor berisiko bagi remaja terlibat kasus kecelakaan lalu lintas, karena gaya berkendara yang beresiko. Untuk menjamin keselamatan lalu lintas, dibentuk program safety riding yang mencakup perilaku disiplin dalam aturan dan tata cara berkendara. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan Remaja tentang keselamatan berkendara (safety riding), Kegiatan Pengabdian ini melibatkan remaja di moyo utara yaitu di desa songkar, pelaksanaan telah dilakukan pada Bulan Oktober-Desember 2022. Pengabdian dilakukan mulai dari persiapan sampai dengan Evaluasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian yaitu metode sosialisasi dan penerapan (aplikatif) langsung di lapangan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan remaja terkait dengan safety riding masih rendah, diharapkan dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bisa meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja dan mengutamakan keselamatan saat berkendara yaitu dengan menggunakan perlengkapan berkendara.

Abstract

Health development is essentially a work carried out by all nations whose goal is to increase everyone's awareness, desire and ability to live healthily in order to achieve the highest degree of public health. Today's health problems are the result of an unhealthy lifestyle coupled with environmental sanitation and lack of access to clean water in many areas. In addition to the quality of environmental and health services and infrastructure, the family is an important part of disease prevention. GERMAS (Healthy Living Community Movement) is a systematic and planned activity carried out by all ethnic groups with awareness, desire and ability to live a healthy life to improve the quality of life. The purpose of community service activities is to inform people around the world. Board of directors Staff with GERMAS expertise. The method is lecture and discussion. The event was attended by 48 people. The activity was carried out on December 2, 2022 for 1 hour 20 minutes. The series of events of this activity are open, subject matter, discussion and closing. As a result of this activity, the cadres will receive information about GERMAS to be disseminated to the community and the GERMAS program can continue to be implemented in every community to create a physically and mentally healthy society. The GERMAS program can reduce the burden of disease, reduce the financial burden on health services due to increased disease and health service costs.
