Abstract

Pemberian pola asuh yang baik kepada anak tentunya dapat membantu pembentukan karakter seorang anak. Hal ini didasarkan pada pemberian pola asuh yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan karakter anak. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan observasi, sementara analisis data dilakukan dengan bantuan software NVivo 12. Pola asuh seperti integritas, kemandirian, religiusitas, nasionalisme, dan gotong royong dapat menciptakan karakter anak yang ideal. Pola pengasuhan demokratis adalah yang paling sesuai untuk anak-anak usia sekolah dasar, yang umumnya berusia 7-12 tahun. Pola asuh ini melibatkan orang tua dalam memberikan pengawasan dan bimbingan sambil tetap memberikan kebebasan kepada anak. Dengan demikian, pola asuh demokratis dapat memperbaiki hubungan antara anak dan orang tua karena ada komunikasi yang baik di antara mereka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebijakan pemerintah terkait tindakan bullying verbal di SD Negeri Jarakan dan untuk mengetahui dampak bullying verbal terhadap kemampuan berbicara peserta didik kelas IVA SD Negeri Jarakan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri Jarakan, Jl. Bantul No. 4,5, Kweni, Panggungharjo, Kecamatan Sewon, Kabupaten Bantul, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IVA SD Negeri Jarakan yang berjumlah 23 peserta didik. Sedangkan kepala sekolah dan guru menjadi subjek pendukung dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif fenomenal. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan naturalistik. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menyajikan hasil penelitian secara kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu dengan menggunakan angket, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan model penelitian Miles dan Huberman yaitu dengan pengumpulan data, mereduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi atau penarikan kesimpulan. Dalam penelitian yang dilakukan, peneliti menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber untuk melihat hasil dari penelitian yaitu dampak dari bullying verbal terhadap kemampuan berbicara peserta didik kelas IVA SD Negeri Jarakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terkait tindakan bullying telah diatur oleh pemerintah dalam Permendikbudristek No 46 Tahun 2023 yang dikeluarkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek) yang mengatur tentang pencegahan dan penanganan kekerasan dalam lingkungan satuan pendidikan di Indonesia yang dikenal sebagai Permendikbudristek PPKSP (Pencegahan dan Penanganan Kekerasan di Satuan Pendidikan). Bentuk bullying verbal yang paling kerap terjadi di lingkungan SD Negeri Jarakan yaitu memanggil teman dengan nama julukan, nama orang tua, dan berbicara menggunakan kata-kata yang tidak baik. Adapun dampak yang dialami oleh peserta didik yang menjadi korban dari bullying verbal kebanyakan menjadikan peserta didik tidak percaya diri. Adapun dampak dari bullying verbal terhadap kemampuan berbicara peserta didik berdampak kepada intonasi suara dari peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan bahan ajar yang sepenuhnya berbasis cerita bergambar dalam bahasa Indonesia yang menggabungkan kedatangan hewan mamalia di Kebun Binatang. titik fokus dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menganalisis yang fasih pada siswa kelas II sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Develop Canva-based comic media for instructing Civics on the topic of rights and obligations. 2) Determine the feasibility of Canva-based comic media according to material and media expert validators. 3) Determine the practicality of Canva-based comic media based on teacher and student responses. 4) Determine the effectiveness of using Canva-based comic media based on student pretest and posttest results. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4-D development model. The subjects of this research were 52 fourth-grade students from Ngrukeman Elementary School and Kadipiro 2 Elementary School. Data were collected through observation, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis involved assessing the feasibility, practicality, effectiveness of the developed media. The results of the feasibility test by material and media experts were 96% and 87,67%, respectively, indicating that the Canva-based comic media is highly feasible to use. The practicality test results showed the teacher responses 82,17% and student responses 93,92%, which showed that Canva-based comic media was in the very practical category. Additionally, the effectiveness test results showed an average pretest score of 64,04 and a posttest score of 84,90. The pretest results obtained an average value of 64.04, while the posttest results obtained an average value of 84.90. The paired sample t-test results showed a sig. (2 tailed) < 0.05, which is 0.00, indicating a significant difference between learning outcomes in the pretest and posttest data. Therefore, it can be concluded that this Canva-based comic media is effective for use in learning civics lessons on the topic of rights and obligations.

Abstract

The teacher has not provided a special method to improve reading skills, the teacher has not measured the students' reading speed and the percentage of understanding of the reading content that the students have achieved, apart from that, the students also think that reading is a very boring lesson Reading is an important skill that can have implications for other literacy skills. However, the average reading ability of SDN 1 Nameng students is still not optimal. The aim of this research is to improve students' reading literacy skills by using the speed reading method on students' science lesson material. The method used in this research is action research which refers to the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model using a spiral system cycle consisting of planning, implementing actions, observation and reflection. The results of class actions in cycle I averaged 72.34% and increased in cycle II with an average of 80.46%. The conclusion of the class action carried out shows that the speed reading method is able to improve students' reading literacy skills in science subject matter

Abstract

This study aims to find out about children's language acquisition towards children's language development at the age of 8 years. The purpose of this study is to analyze children's language acquisition at the age of 8 years who experience a phase of speech delay on their language development.  Researchers use qualitative research, and this type of research natural observation method involves observing and recording certain behaviors, situations, or events, without direct interaction with the subject. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with natural observation methods. Acquisition techniques methods in this observation used 3 ways, namely interview techniques, experiments, and observations. Based on the results of data analysis, children’s language skills are influenced by the first language obtained and environmental factors that children live in. Another factor that affects children's language acquisition is the child's fluency factor, this is the cause of delayed language acquisition in children. Based on the results of the study, language development in children is influenced by the child's language acquisition process. The role of parents is quite important in this aspect of children's language development

Abstract

This research aims to analyze language acquisition in children, obtained directly and supported by several factors, such as internal factors from both parents. The initial language acquisition in children is found and obtained from their mother. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. The data collection techniques employed are observation and interviews. The research subject is a five-year-old male child. The results of the study indicate that the initial language acquisition in a five-year-old child is obtained through interactions with their mother. At this age, the child can utter several words and sentences commonly used in their communication with family and friends. However, the language proficiency of the five-year-old is somewhat unclear in terms of the original words and sentences. Interactions in the child's environment influence language proficiency and vocabulary knowledge. The child uses both Indonesian and a mixture of regional languages in daily communication, both at home and at school. The child acquires new knowledge about various words through school, reading books, and watching videos on YouTube.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore the acquisition process of five year old children using descriptive qualitative methodology. This research method is used to thoroughly describe how 5 year old children acquire knowledge, abilities and values in their development. This research collects data through observation, in-depth interviews, and analysis of relevant documents. This research involved children aged five years, their parents, and teachers who took formal or informal education. After that, the data collected was analyzed qualitatively by considering patterns, themes and contexts of children's learning. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide a complete picture of the acquisition process for five year old children. These findings may also provide parents, educators, and researchers with insight into the factors that influence five-year-olds' learning, so they can improve their teaching and support methods.

Abstract

Parents have a role in assisting their children in completing developmental tasks, including the development of language skills. Every action and spoken word of parents in the family and social environment will influence the child's language development. This research aims to describe the importance of the role of parents in the early language development of children in Kulon Progo. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research with analysis using the model by Miles and Huberman. The instrument used in this research is interviews. The subjects of this study are parents with children aged 0-6 years, and 2 individuals were determined as subjects. The results of this study indicate that the role of parents significantly influences the language development of children. The motivation of parents in developing their children's language abilities can affect and accelerate language development. Guidance or teaching provided by parents in a directed manner will align with the child's age, making language development easier and more controlled as the child grows older. The child's language proficiency is enhanced when parents consistently provide encouragement using something that aids the child's language development. Additionally, the environmental conditions also play a crucial role in the language development of children. A conducive environment fosters and guides children, making it easier for them to develop good and correct language skills.
