Abstract

Indonesia is known for its diverse culture. Each region in Indonesia has a culture with its own characteristics. One of the cities in Indonesia, namely Tasikmalaya, has a culture that is the identity of the city of Tasikmalaya. Therefore, researchers conducted research with the aim of describing the field of meaning of typical Tasikmalaya handicrafts with a range of meaning components and types of meaning. The method used is descriptive qualitative. This method is used because the results of this research are in the form of descriptions. The data source for this research is typical Tasikmlaya handicrafts. The data collection technique is by collecting data regarding typical Tasikmalaya handicrafts. The data was collected with stationery instruments. The semantic study used in this research is lexical semantics. This research produced six data on typical Tasikmalaya handicrafts. Each handicraft has a component meaning and type of meaning that can be differentiated in terms of material, use, color, etc. Therefore. Each typical Tasikmalaya handicraft product has its own characteristics, even though some products look the same.

Abstract

This research is motivated by language errors due to a lack of understanding of the language used, and inappropriate or imperfect language teaching often occurs in the mass media. The method used in this research is a descriptive method because in this research it analyzes and examines a research data object according to the facts. The data collection technique is by reading and analyzing language errors from the text. The data collection instruments used were a feature text entitled "4 OOTD Inspirations during the Rainy Season, Stay Cool and Warm" and stationery. Then, the data analysis techniques in this research include: (1) reading the feature text "4 OOTD Inspirations during the Rainy Season, Stay Cool and Warm"; (2) analyzing language errors in the text; (3) write down the analysis results obtained. This research is useful in providing in-depth insight into language errors that are often found in various mass media.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze phonological language errors in the short story "Not Always White Swan" by Nadia Fitriantika, a student from SMAN 10 Tasikmalaya. Emphasizing the crucial role of language in daily communication, the study focuses on phonological errors as an integral part of both formal and non-formal language learning. descriptive qualitative method, employing the observe and note technique, is utilized to determine, explain, classify, and evaluate phonological errors in the short story. The analysis reveals instances of phonemic addition, deletion, and modification, such as the addition of the phoneme in the word "moment," deletion in the word "still," and modification in the word "closet." This research contributes to understanding how phonological language errors can impact readers' comprehension of the short story. The analysis serves as a valuable evaluative tool and provides insights into the author's expression in crafting literary works. In conclusion, this study underscores the importance of precise language use, emphasizing the role of phonology in conveying a clear message in literary works.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the local wisdom values contained in the Situ Gede Tasikmalaya tourist attraction. The research method involves collecting data through documentation studies. Local wisdom values were identified and analyzed using descriptive analysis methods. The research results show that Situ Gede Tasikmalaya is a place rich in local wisdom values, including social, cultural and economic aspects. These values reflect the cultural heritage of the local community and contribute to the sustainability and identity of the tourist area. An in-depth analysis of local wisdom values in these tourist attractions can provide better insight into how tourism management and promotion can maintain and respect local wisdom, while improving the tourist experience. The implications of these findings can be used as a basis for developing strategies and policies that support the preservation of local wisdom values in tourism development in Situ Gede Tasikmalaya.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the structural aspects contained in the short story "Dua Orang Sahabat" by A.A Navis. The study was conducted by collecting data from the short story "Dua Orang Sahabat" using qualitative methods and the technique of analyzing structural aspects to analyze the short story. The data used was the short story "Dua Orang Sahabat" which is included in the collection of short stories entitled "Robohnya Surau Kami" by A.A Navis. The data was analyzed using a literary structural approach. The structural approach can be used to analyze the structure of literary works. By using the structural approach, readers can understand in detail, present, and unpack precisely and in detail so that the understanding of the meaning of literary works is more optimal. The results of the study indicate that there are structural elements in the short story "Dua Orang Sahabat", such as theme, character and characterization, point of view, setting, plot, style, and message. This study is expected to provide an overview of the structural aspects contained in the short story "Dua Orang Sahabat" by A.A Navis and can be a reference for readers to understand the content of the short story.

Abstract

Abstrak: Data Dinas Kesehatan Kota Tasikmalaya menunjukkan Puskesmas Purbaratu memiliki prevalensi anemia 31,96%, dimana remaja putri yang minum TTD (Tablet Tambah Darah) hanya 51,86% pada tahun 2023. Angka tersebut paling rendah di Kota Tasikmalaya. SMA N 3 Tasikmalaya adalah SMA yang berlokasi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Purbaratu. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap positif siswi mengenai manfaat TTD dan pentingnya memiliki kesadaran gizi. Mitra kegiatan ini adalah SMA N 3 Tasikmalaya. Peserta kegiatan adalah siswi kelas XI sebanyak 104 orang. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan melalui pengisian soal pre-test sebanyak 10 soal pengetahuan dan 8 soal sikap, pendistribusian komik kesehatan, penayangan video, edukasi kesehatan menggunakan metode ceramah dan power point di ruang aula SMAN 3, serta tahap evaluasi meliputi pengisian soal post-test sebanyak 10 soal pengetahuan dan 8 soal sikap. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat menghasilkan adanya peningkatan proporsi siswi yang memiliki pengetahuan dengan kategori baik dari 12,5% pada pre-test menjadi 80,8% pada post-test. Selain itu terdapat peningkatan skor sikap dari 15,3750 pada pre-test menjadi 18,1538 pada post-test.Abstract: Data from the Tasikmalaya City Health Office showed that the Purbaratu Health Center had an anemia prevalence of 31.96%, where adolescent girls who take TTD (Iron Supplement Tablets) were only 51.86% in 2023. This figure was the lowest in Tasikmalaya City. SMA N 3 Tasikmalaya is a high school located in the Purbaratu Health Center work area. The purpose of this community service activity was to increase the knowledge and positive attitudes of female students regarding the benefits of TTD and the importance of having nutritional awareness. The partner for this activity s SMA N 3 Tasikmalaya. The participants of the activity were 104 grade XI female students. The method of implementing the activity was through filling in pre-test questions of 10 knowledge questions and 8 attitude questions, distributing health comics, showing videos, health education using lecture and power point methods in the hall OF SMA 3 and the evaluation stage included filling in post-test questions of 10 knowledge questions and 8 attitude questions. Community service activities resulted in an increase in the proportion of female students who had good knowledge from 12.5% in the pre-test to 80.8% in the post-test. In addition, there was an increase in attitude scores from 15.3750 in the pre-test to 18.1538 in the post-test.
