Abstract

The burden of tasks and responsibilities without adequate time management skills can lead to academic stress in students. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of time management training on academic stress. The research design is experimental with a pretest and posttest control group design. The subjects were students with high academic stress, measured by the Educational Stress Scale for Adolescents (ESSA). The study involved 61 subjects, 33 in the control group and 28 in the experimental group, randomly assigned. The experimental group received 8 training sessions, while the control group received 1 session. Time management training included goal setting, prioritization, daily scheduling, stopping procrastination, effective time use, and assertiveness. The Wilcoxon paired group data analysis showed a p-value < 0.001, indicating that the intervention effectively reduced students' academic stress. The implication is that time management training can be developed as an effort to reduce academic stress in students.

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, many daily activities are carried out from home. Likewise, educational activities are carried out at home online. This reduces physical activity and can lead to decrease physical and spiritual health. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between spiritual well-being and quality of life in university students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants in this study consisted of 54 men and women with an age range of 19 years to 22 years. This research is non-experimental quantitative research with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. The measuring instrument used to measure spiritual well-being is the spiritual well-being questionnaire (SWQ) compiled by Gomez and Fisher and the measuring instrument for measuring the quality of life uses the Indonesian version of the WHOQOL-BREF measuring instrument, which was developed by Purba et al. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between spiritual well-being and quality of life in students during the COVID-19 pandemic (p= 0.000 < 0.05), the higher the spiritual well-being of students, the higher the quality of life of students. Additional data analysis was carried out to look for different tests, based on the results of the study there were differences in quality of life-based on gender.

Abstract

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is the most common mental disorder found in children and is capable of affecting development into adulthood with a characteristic pattern of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity (American Psychiatric Association, 2021). The inherent interaction between parents, teachers, and therapists requires them to have good knowledge and understanding to carry out their role as key informants for ADHD children. In Indonesia itself, public knowledge of this phenomenon seems to be lacking due to the uneven distribution of information. The research team decided to conduct a community service activity in the form of a webinar to increase public understanding and awareness of ADHD children by using pre-test and post-test questionnaires to measure the level of knowledge of participants. The measuring tool uses The Questionnaire of ADHD Knowledge developed by See et al., (2021). The number of participants was 35 people, consisting of 5 male participants and 30 female participants. The results of calculations using the Wilcoxon test obtained a Z value of -3.760 with a significance value (2 tailed) of 0.000. It can be concluded that the results have a positive correlation between giving the webinar and increasing the number of correct post-tests on 35 participants, with negative ranks = 6, positive ranks = 28, and ties = 1. ABSTRAK Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) adalah gangguan mental yang paling umum ditemukan pada anak-anak dan mampu mempengaruhi perkembangan hingga dewasa dengan pola karakteristik tidak dapat memusatkan perhatian, hiperaktivitas, dan impulsivitas (American Psychiatric Association, 2021). Interaksi yang melekat antara orang tua, guru, dan terapis mengharuskan mereka memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang baik untuk menjalankan peran sebagai informan kunci anak ADHD. Di Indonesia sendiri, pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap fenomena ini tampaknya masih kurang karena penyebaran informasi yang tidak merata. Tim pelaksana memutuskan untuk melakukan suatu kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk webinar untuk meningkatkan pemahaman serta kesadaran publik terhadap anak ADHD dengan menggunakan kuesioner pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur tingkat pengetahuan partisipan. Alat ukur menggunakan The Questionnaire of ADHD Knowledge yang dikembangkan oleh See et al., (2021). Jumlah partisipan yakni 35 orang, terdiri dari 5 partisipan laki-laki dan 30 partisipan perempuan. Hasil perhitungan menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon diperoleh nilai Z sebesar -3,760 dengan nilai signifikansi (2 tailed) sebesar 0,000. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil berkorelasi positif antara pemberian webinar dengan peningkatan jumlah benar post-test pada 35 partisipan, dengan nilai negative ranks = 6, positive ranks = 28, dan ties = 1.

Abstract

Adolescence is a transitional period from child to adult, this period will experience physical changes, cognitive development, and psychosocial development. The development of becoming an adult during the school period, what is often problematic is learning motivation because it is still unclear from the interests of each student's talent. Community service activities (PKM) are carried out with psychoeducation conducted to educate students about learning motivation and talent interests. PKM was conducted at one of the X private vocational schools in the West Jakarta area. The activity was carried out on grade 10 students with a total of 51 participants but who provided a written response of 50 people, namely 30 boys and 20 girls, with 2 majors namely Business Service Office Management (MPLB) and Visual Communication Design (DKV). Participants ranged in age from less than 16 years old to 18 years old. Students generally come from families whose parents have a high school education and earn around the Regional Minimum Wage (UMR). From the school community service activities, participants felt enthusiastic when drawing a bridge of dreams and playing games sessions and listening to the success stories of a doctor and a pedicab driver's son who managed to study abroad. Masa remaja adalah masa peralihan dari anak anak menjadi dewasa, periode ini akan mengalami perubahan fisik, perkembangan kognitif, dan perkembangan psikososial. Perkembangan menjadi dewasa saat masa sekolah hal yang sering bermasalah adalah motivasi belajar karena masih kurang jelas dari minat bakat masing masing siswa. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) dilaksanakan dengan psikoedukasi yang dilakukan untuk mendidik siswa mengenai motivasi belajar dan bakat minat. PKM dilakukan di salah satu SMK swasta X di wilayah Jakarta Barat. Kegiatan dilakukan pada siswa kelas 10 dengan jumlah peserta 51 orang tetapi yang memberikan respons tertulis sebanyak 50 orang, yakni 30 laki-laki dan 20 perempuan, dengan 2 jurusan yaitu Manajemen Perkantoran Layanan Bisnis (MPLB) dan Desain Komunikasi Visual (DKV). Partisipan berusia mulai dari kurang dari 16 tahun hingga 18 tahun. Siswa umumnya berasal dari keluarga yang orang tuanya memiliki pendidikan SMA dan berpenghasilan sekitar Upah Minimum Regional (UMR). Dari kegiatan PKM, peserta merasakan antusias pada saat menggambar jembatan cita cita dan sesi bermain games dan mendengarkan cerita sukses seorang dokter dan seorang anak tukang becak yang sampai berhasil kuliah sampai ke luar negeri.

Abstract

Generasi Z di Indonesia mengalami perubahan dalam cara memandang dan mengekspresikan kreativitas, salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh hadirnya Artificial Intelligence (AI) sebagai mitra dalam proses belajar dan berkarya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peranan AI terhadap persepsi diri kreativitas mahasiswa Generasi Z di bidang pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik convenience sampling. Penyebaran kuesioner daring melalui Google Form kepada 102 mahasiswa Generasi Z yang telah menggunakan AI, seperti ChatGPT dan aplikasi sejenis. Instrumen penelitian meliputi Short Scale of Creative Self (SSCS) dan skala adaptasi penggunaan AI dari Santana et al. (2025). Hasil analisis menggunakan SPSS versi 29 menunjukkan bahwa tingkat penggunaan AI tergolong sedang cenderung tinggi, sedangkan persepsi diri kreativitas berada pada kategori tinggi. Namun, uji korelasi menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara penggunaan AI dan persepsi diri kreativitas (r = -0,131; p = 0,188). Kesimpulannya, AI belum secara langsung memengaruhi cara mahasiswa menilai kreativitas dirinya, sehingga diperlukan penggunaan AI yang reflektif dan seimbang agar mendukung pengembangan kreativitas secara autentik.

Abstract

Motives merupakan alasan seseorang melakukan perilaku yang mencerminkan kebutuhan dan keinginan untuk dipenuhi. Berbagai penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motives berperan penting dalam memunculkan problematic smartphone use (PSU). Namun, pemahaman mengenai perbedaan hubungan motives dengan PSU berdasarkan jenis kelamin maupun pengaruhnya terhadap penggunaan jenis konten smartphone tertentu masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan systematic review untuk menyatukan temuan yang ada terkait hubungan motives dengan PSU. Pencarian literatur dilakukan melalui Google Scholar dan Semantic Scholar dengan rentang waktu 2024 hingga 2025, menggunakan kombinasi kata kunci terkait PSU dan motives. Seleksi artikel mencakup publikasi berbahasa Indonesia atau Inggris, berstatus full-text dan open access, serta terindeks pada jurnal Quartile 1 (Q1) hingga Quartile 4 (Q4) atau Sinta 1 (S1) hingga Sinta 4 (S4). Hasil analisis terhadap 17 artikel menunjukkan bahwa motives yang memicu PSU meliputi faktor psikologis seperti desire thinking dan rumination serta faktor lingkungan seperti cumulative ecological risk, insecure attachment, pola asuh negatif, dan pengalaman masa kecil yang buruk. Perbedaan berdasarkan jenis kelamin tampak pada perempuan yang lebih rentan terhadap disrupsi hubungan orangtua-anak akibat technoference, sementara laki-laki lebih mudah mengalami ketergantungan pada smartphone. Selain itu, motives tertentu berhubungan dengan penggunaan konten spesifik, seperti fear of missing out (FOMO) dan kebutuhan interaksi sosial pada media sosial, serta dorongan dokumentasi dan promosi diri pada Instagram. Kajian ini menekankan perlunya penelitian lanjutan dengan basis data yang lebih luas, mempertimbangkan faktor demografis lain, dan mengeksplorasi berbagai platform digital agar pemahaman mengenai peran motives dalam terbentuknya PSU menjadi lebih komprehensif.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The increasing phenomenon of body dissatisfaction among women in emerging adulthood is often associated with the development of self-esteem. Body dissatisfaction is defined as a negative perception of body shape or size, accompanied by feelings of discomfort and dissatisfaction with physical appearance, whereas self-esteem refers to an individual’s overall evaluation of self-worth and self-acceptance. This study aimed to examine the relationship between body dissatisfaction and self-esteem levels among women in emerging adulthood. A quantitative correlational approach was employed, involving 338 female participants aged 18–25 years who were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using the Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ-34) and the Indonesian-adapted version of the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale. The results indicated a significant negative relationship between body dissatisfaction and self-esteem (r = ?0.496). Additional analyses revealed significant differences in body dissatisfaction and self-esteem based on body mass index (BMI) categories, with the majority of participants falling within the moderate level for both variables. These findings highlight the importance of a healthy and positive body perception in supporting the development of adaptive self-esteem among women in emerging adulthood. Future research is recommended to include other psychological variables or moderating factors to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the determinants of self-esteem. ABSTRAK Fenomena meningkatnya ketidakpuasan tubuh (body dissatisfaction) pada perempuan usia emerging adulthood kerap dikaitkan dengan pembentukan harga diri (self-esteem). Body dissatisfaction dipahami sebagai persepsi negatif terhadap bentuk atau ukuran tubuh yang disertai rasa tidak nyaman dan ketidakpuasan terhadap penampilan fisik, sedangkan self-esteem merujuk pada penilaian individu terhadap nilai serta penerimaan diri secara keseluruhan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara body dissatisfaction dan tingkat self-esteem pada perempuan emerging adulthood. Pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional digunakan dengan melibatkan 338 partisipan perempuan berusia 18–25 tahun yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ-34) dan Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale dalam adaptasi Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara body dissatisfaction dan self-esteem (r = -0.496). Analisis tambahan juga menemukan perbedaan signifikan body dissatisfaction dan self-esteem berdasarkan kategori indeks massa tubuh (BMI), dengan mayoritas partisipan berada pada kategori tingkat sedang untuk kedua variabel. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya persepsi tubuh yang sehat dan positif dalam mendukung pembentukan self-esteem yang adaptif pada perempuan emerging adulthood. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk melibatkan variabel psikologis lain atau faktor moderator guna memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif mengenai determinan self-esteem.

Abstract

Families of children with cancer experience significant emotional, physical, and social stressors, beginning at the diagnostic phase and continuing throughout the long-term treatment process. This condition can reduce hope, weaken perseverance, and disrupt the psychological capacity of parents in fulfilling their caregiving roles. This Community Service Program aimed to strengthen the psychological capacity of families through psychoeducation based on positive psychology, emphasizing the reinforcement of hope, resilience, and grit, as well as optimizing the role of the Parent Club (PC) of Yayasan Onkologi Anak Indonesia as a key pillar of community support for newly affected families. The program was conducted in a hybrid format and involved 87 participants, consisting of Parent Club members, parents of children currently undergoing cancer treatment, and community support facilitators. The effectiveness of the program was evaluated through pre-test and post-test measures completed by 65 participants. The results indicated a consistent increase in participants’ understanding across all measured indicators, reflected in a higher percentage of correct responses related to the concepts of resilience, hope, grit, and the meaning of parental toughness. This improvement illustrates a shift in participants’ perspectives from reactive responses toward more structured and adaptive interpretations of the caregiving process. These findings demonstrate that a psychoeducational approach incorporating reflective activities, expressive writing exercises, and participatory discussions is effective in enhancing parents’ psychological literacy and strengthening their emotional readiness to cope with the prolonged demands of caregiving.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji hubungan antara penggunaan kecerdasan buatan (AI) dan efikasi politik di Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif non-eksperimental dan metode korelasional. Partisipan adalah penduduk yang bertempat tinggal di daerah DKI Jakarta generasi Gen Z berusia 18 hingga 27 tahun, dipilih melalui teknik convenience sampling. Sebanyak 435 partisipan berpartisipasi dalam penelitian menggunakan Meta AI Literacy Scale (MAILS) untuk mengukur penggunaan AI dan Internal Political Efficacy Scale (IPES) untuk mengukur efikasi politik. Analisis data bertujuan untuk mengukur arah, kekuatan, dan signifikansi hubungan antara penggunaan AI (variabel independen) dan efikasi politik (variabel dependen), serta menguji pengaruh kontrol seperti usia, tingkat pendidikan, dan literasi digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara penggunaan kecerdasan buatan (AI) dan efikasi politik pada generasi Z di DKI Jakarta dengan nilai korelasi rₛ = 0,153 dan p = 0,001. Meskipun kekuatan hubungan tergolong lemah, hasil mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan AI berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan keyakinan diri individu dalam memahami dan berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan politik.
