Abstract

Effective instruction in dressmaking requires digital learning media capable of presenting procedural information with clarity, precision, and interactivity. This study aims to develop and evaluate an interactive Canva-based e-module for the Dressmaking course in vocational higher education. A Research and Development (R&D) design employing the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) was implemented with 40 undergraduate students. Product validity was assessed by material and media experts, while practicality and effectiveness were examined through student response questionnaires and pre–post learning achievement tests. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, N-Gain, paired sample t-test, and effect size. The results indicate a validity score of 91.25%, a practicality score of 90.0%, and an improvement in learning outcomes with an N-Gain of 0.68, along with a significant difference between pre- and post-test scores (t = 8.24; p < 0.001) and a large effect size (Cohen’s d = 1.30). These findings demonstrate that the Canva-based e-module effectively enhances students’ conceptual and procedural mastery in dressmaking. The study underscores the module’s potential for integration into multimedia-based vocational instruction and hybrid or LMS-supported learning environments.

Abstract

The development of teacher competency in using google classroom during the pvidemic covid_19 aims to develop teacher competency in managing online classes using the google classroom application, the method used in this research is the research and development (R&D) method that refers to the ADDIE model with the subject The trial was a teacher at Garudaya Bontonompo Middle School. The results showed an increase in the competency of Garudaya SMKS teachers in using the google classroom application by looking at improvements in each assessment indicator that on average were in the very competent criteria after conducting the pretest and posttest.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh praktisi mengajar terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Pendidikan Konsumen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimental. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa yang terdaftar dalam mata kuliah Pendidikan Konsumen di Jurusan Pendidikan Kesejahteraan Keluarga Kelas 03. Sampel terdiri dari 30 mahasiswa yang dibagi secara acak menjadi dua kelompok: kelompok eksperimen yang diajar oleh praktisi industri dan kelompok kontrol yang diajar oleh dosen akademik. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner motivasi belajar yang diadaptasi dari skala ARCS (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction) dan dianalisis menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam motivasi belajar mahasiswa yang diajar oleh praktisi dibandingkan dengan yang diajar oleh dosen akademik (p < 0,05). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa keterlibatan praktisi dalam proses pengajaran dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa, terutama dalam konteks aplikasi praktis dari materi yang diajarkan. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi pengembangan kurikulum dan metode pengajaran di perguruan tinggi, khususnya dalam mengintegrasikan pengalaman praktis ke dalam pembelajaran teoretis.
