Abstract

Kehamilan merupakan masa yang dimulai dari konsepsi sampai lahirnya janin. Normalnya kehamilan berlangsung selama 280 hari. Kehamilan ini dibagi atas 3 semester yaitu kehamilan trimester pertama 0-14 minggu, kehamilan trimester kedua mulai 14-28 minggu, dan kehamilan trimester ke tiga mulai 28-42 minggu. Mual muntah dimulai pada trimester 1 pada umur sekitar 6-8 minggu, mencapai puncaknya diumur kehamilan Sembilan minggu dan menetap sekitar 12 minggu. Sebagian kecil ibu hamil tetap merasakan mual muntah diumur kehamilan 20 minggu. Ketidaknyamanan ini akan dirasakan oleh ibu hamil berkitar 50-80% ibu hamil mengalami ketidaknyamanan ini. Data menyebutkan bahwa mual muntah pada trimester 1 50%-90% ibu terjadi pada kehamilan. Mual muntah yang dirasakan oleh ibu hamil bisa diatasi dengan pemberian terap non farmakologis menggunakan bahan herbal yang ada disekitar ibu misalnya jahe, madu. Jahe memiliki efek farmakologis yaitu anti emetic. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara yang dilakukan kepada ibu hamil di Desa Tambakrejo diketahui bahwa selama ini ketika mengalami mual dan muntah ibu hamil mengkonsumsi obat yang diberikan oleh bidan atau dokter. Ibu hamil belum pernah mencoba menggunakan terapi nonfarmakologis salah satunya adalah seduhan minuman jahe. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat akan dilaksanakan di Desa Tambakrejo. Jumlah KK di Desa Tambakrejo 1.324 KK, dengan jumlah ibu hamil sebanyak 23 ibu hamil. Kegiatan yang akan dilakukan adalah memberikan penyuluhan tentang manfaat seduhan jahe untuk mengurangi mual muntah

Abstract

Hadirnya pandemi Covid19 telah mengubah banyak hal dalam seluruh aspek kehidupan. Untuk menyikapinya perlu perubahan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat di era new normal ini. Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat pada dasarnya merupakan sebuah upaya untuk menularkan pengalaman mengenai perilaku hidup sehat melalui individu, kelompok ataupun masyarakat luas dengan jalur – jalur komunikasi sebagai media berbagi informasi. New normal adalah langkah percepatan penanganan COVID-19 dalam bidang kesehatan, sosial, dan ekonomi. Masker atau alat pelindung pernafasan adalah alat yang berfungsi untuk melindungi pernafasan dari mikrobakterium dan virus yang ada di udara, dan zatzat kimia. Diselenggarakannya pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh mahasiswa Universitas Pamulang ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasi kepada masyarakat mengenai era new normal ini dengan tujuan untuk memutus rantai penyebaran virus Covid-19 dan menanamkan kesadaran mengenai pentingnya menjaga kesehatan. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan pada pkm kali ini dengan cara survey dan kita mendatangai Paud Nurul Jannah dan akan memberikan penyuluhan disana. Dapat disimpulkan dari adanya kegiatan PKM ini adalah masyarakat dapat memiliki tambahan pengetahuan tentang apa itu new normal atau kebiasaan baru dalam hidup berdampingan dengan virus covid-19, menambah pengetahuan tentang pentingnya memakai masker saat beraktivitas diluar rumah dan tahu cara mencuci tangan dengan baik dan benar serta mengetahui memanfaatkan barang bekas untuk membuat alat cuci tangan disetiap rumah. Harapan kami dengan pengabdian ini dapat membantu adikadik menjadi paham tentang pentingnya menjaga kesehatan diri dan lingkungan terutama di era new normal seperti sekarang ini.Kata Kunci: Pandemi covid-19, Era Now Normal,pentingnya menjaga kesehatan dan melindungi diri

Abstract

Pemerintah Desa Kampung Dalam, Kecamatan Lebong Utara, Kabupaten Lebong, masih mengandalkan sistem manual, di mana masyarakat harus datang langsung ke kantor desa untuk mengurus pengajuan dokumen. Penerapan teknologi digital untuk mendukung distribusi surat-menyurat yang lebih efisien akan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik. Dengan menggunakan sistem digital, masyarakat tidak lagi perlu datang ke kantor desa untuk mengisi data pribadi atau mengajukan permohonan. Sosialisasi yang dilakukan sangat berguna bagi warga Desa Kampung Dalam dalam memahami cara mengisi formulir Google Form yang telah disiapkan oleh perangkat desa. Penggunaan administrasi secara online memudahkan masyarakat untuk mengajukan dokumen yang diperlukan kapan saja dan di mana saja. Masyarakat memberikan respon positif terhadap penggunaan teknologi online untuk pengajuan surat-menyurat. Pembaruan pada Google Sheet memungkinkan penyesuaian nomor dokumen sesuai yang terbaru. Diharapkan setelah sosialisasi, antusiasme masyarakat terhadap sistem administrasi online akan semakin meningkat. Penggunaan sistem online dalam pelayanan publik memberikan kemudahan, fleksibilitas, dan meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai teknologi yang diterapkan dalam administrasi desa.

Abstract

A risk assessment of gamma radiation and radon gas exposure is carried out in the uranium exploration tunnel area to protect workers from the ionizing radiation hazards in the workplace. Measurement of gamma-ray exposure and radon gas concentrations were carried out in Remaja uranium exploration tunnel and around the workers camp in Kalan Area, West Kalimantan. Gamma exposure was measured using a gamma survey meter while radon (222Rn/220Rn) using RADUET passive detector. The concentrations of radon and thoron gas inside the tunnel generally are high, ranging from 188.84 to 495.86 Bq/m3 (375.80 Bq/m3 average) and 58.07 to 340.73 Bq/m3 (189.80 Bq/m3 average) respectively. These values are above the radon reference level (300 Bq/m3)which is recommended by the International Commission on Radiation Protection (ICRP). The annual gamma effective dose reaches 147.88mSv inside the tunnel. This value is exceeding the 20 mSv dose limit value for workers. It is necessary to control the exposure by fulfilled the principle of “as low as reasonably achievable” (ALARA) and external radiation protection to secure workers inside the tunnel from a health issue caused by gamma-ray, radon, and thoron exposures.

Abstract

The demand for minerals to meet technological developments is increasing, including minerals that contain rare earth elements (REE). The levels of REE in solids can be determined using conventional analysis methods (gravimetry) and instruments. Even though the instrument method provides more accurate results with a small amount of analyte, the cost is higher compared to the gravimetric method, which requires more analyte and provides good results. Therefore, the gravimetric method is a solution for areas with limited instruments and budgets. The study aims to validate the gravimetric method for determining REE oxides levels, evaluate its precision and accuracy, and assess its feasibility of use. In this study, two methods were used for REE analysis: the ASTM E2941-14 method with sample weight modification and the addition of acid to increase REE oxides recovery and a precipitation method using oxalic acid. The validation stages include sample dissolution, precipitation, filtration, and ash-making. The research results show that the RSD value is 0.3154, which is smaller than 2/3 of Horwitz's CV, namely 4.1727, which means it meets the precision acceptance requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017. The REE oxides recovery value, which indicates accuracy, also increased to 97.74%. Therefore, the gravimetric method can be used as an alternative for determining REE oxides levels.

Abstract

Monazite contains several rare earth elements (REE) along with radioactive elements, i.e., thorium (Th) and uranium (U). Thorium content in monazite is several times higher than uranium. Monazite contains around 12% thorium oxide, but the thorium content in this mineral varies depending on location. To determine the thorium content in monazite, an appropriate and validated analytical method is needed so that the reliability of the test results can be trusted. Apart from that, method validation is one of the clauses in SNI ISO/IEC 17025:2017 that must be fulfilled by the laboratory to be certified and produce reliable data. This research aims to validate analytical methods for non-standard and modified methods that are likely to be used outside the scope. In this research, the method used to digest and analyze thorium in mineral samples refers to the ASTM E2941-14 method with several modifications. Therefore, the analysis method needs to be validated. Validation of the analytical method is carried out by testing several parameters such as linearity and working range tests, accuracy, precision (repeatability), Limit of Detection (LOD), and Limit of Quantitation (LOQ). The results of linearity, accuracy, and repeatability tests that meet the acceptance requirements can be used as a method of validation evaluation. The results of the method validation parameter test met the acceptance requirements, with the linearity test showing a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.997, the accuracy test showing % a recovery value of 106.22%, and the precision (repeatability) test showing %RSD of 3.76% with LOD value is 0.650 mg/L, and LOQ is 0.724 mg/L. Based on the results of these parameter tests, the method for analyzing thorium in mineral samples was validated.

Abstract

Tin slag, a byproduct of tin smelting, comprises several important metals, including yttrium, tantalum, manganese, iron, aluminum, titanium, and others. As an element that is used a lot in advanced materials, the separation of Yttrium becomes one of the most important steps in rare earth elements extraction. By using the alkali fusion process and leaching method, yttrium in the tin slag has been successfully extracted. The tin slag was subjected to an alkali fusion treatment with sodium hydroxide at a temperature of 700 °C, and the frit was ground into several particle sizes of +100 to -325 mesh using a laboratory ball mill and mortar. The frit was then leached using hydrochloric acid, with four parameters used: temperature, acid concentration, particle size, and stirring speed. The extracted yttrium reached a percentage of up to 86.94% at a temperature of 80 °C, acid concentration of 2 M, particle size of -325 mesh, and stirring speed of 150 rpm.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the comtal (communication total) method is applied in Al-Qur'an reading and to assess its impact on Al-Qur'an reading among deaf students at SLB Islam Qothrunnada. This study is qualitative, using descriptive and phenomenological approaches to examine the application of the Comtal method and its impact on deaf students' ability to read the Qur'an at SLB Islam Qothrunnada. The study population consisted of teachers and deaf students at SLB Islam Qothrunnada, and participants were selected through purposive sampling based on their direct involvement in implementing the Comtal method. To obtain information about the application of the Komtale method and its impact on the ability to read the Qur'an among deaf children. The subjects in this study are the principal, Islamic education teachers, and deaf students at SLB Islam Qothrunnada. The data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the Comtal method, when applied to teaching deaf students at SLB Islam Qothrunnada to read the Qur'an, followed three steps: speech articulation training, reading practice, and speech teaching. The impact of applying the Comtal method in teaching deaf students at SLB Islam Qothrunnada to read the Qur'an was that they were able to read it correctly and fluently, with sign language support.

Abstract

The development of financial technology (fintech), particularly in digital payment systems, offers significant opportunities for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial transactions. However, interest in using fintech payments among MSMEs is still influenced by various factors. This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived ease of use, accountability, transparency, and trust on interest in using financial technology payments among MSMEs in Batam City. This study used a quantitative approach with primary data obtained through questionnaires distributed to 96 MSMEs selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis methods used included descriptive statistical tests, validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis tests, and coefficient of determination tests using SPSS version 27. The results showed that partially perceived ease of use, accountability, transparency, and trust had a positive and significant effect on interest in using financial technology payments. Furthermore, the results of the simultaneous test showed that all independent variables together had a significant effect on interest in using fintech payments. This study concludes that increasing convenience, accountability, transparency, and trust can encourage the adoption of fintech payments in MSMEs.
