Abstract

The aim of this development was to produce a rough motoric module for early childhood Education (PAUD). This research was included as research and development (R&D) with Brog and Gall model which consists of seven stages. The result of validation from material experts obtained that the average percentage of the feasibility of the modules was 93% (very feasible). Then, the result of validation from design experts obtained a percentage of 90% (very feasible); the result of small group assessments by subject teachers was 97% (very feasible;) and the result of large group test by all teachers in group III was 96% (very feasible). The module provided an open opportunity for PAUD teachers to develop children's rough motoric skills. Moreover, rough motoric development materials provided a variety of new learning styles so they enriched insights to PAUD teachers. It could be concluded that the module was suitable to be used by kindergarten teachers. This module could also be used as a reference for teachers in PAUD educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media in English lesson using video based on the ADDIE model at SDK Karitas III Surabaya. This development research is based on the lack of learning media to increase pronunciation in English lesson. To collect data about these problems, a questionnaire was used. Questionnaire used to provide a product assessment or product feasibility developed involving design experts, materials experts, and media experts. Meanwhile, to find out the responses of students, it was carried out by testing small groups, medium or limited groups, and large groups using the same questionnaire instrument. The results obtained in the product feasibility test showed that for design experts a percentage of 93% was obtained, for material experts the percentage was 80%, and for media experts the percentage was 93.3%. From the results of the expert feasibility test, it can be concluded that the product developed is said to be feasible for testing in the learning process. For small group trials, the percentage is 74.1%, for medium or limited group trials, the percentage is 82.1%, and for large group trials, the percentage is 88.5%. Based on the results conclude that the development product  for learning media in English subject especially Food and Drink material using video with ADDIE model at SDK Karitas III Surabaya is said to be feasible to be used and applied in the learning process as a guide to use in learning media.

Abstract

Belum pernah dilakukan bentuk siasat dalam proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kemampuan 4Cs mahasiswa yang menjadi tuntutan luaran di Abad 21. Tidak banyak dosen melibatkan mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran, tugas yang diberikan bersifat umum yang tidak membangkitkan kemampuan 4 Cs. WISE Habits bertujuan untuk memberikan kebiasaan mahasiswa melakukan kebiasaan WISE. Penelitian bertujuan untuk membangkitkan kebiasaan WISE agar mahasiswa memiliki kemampuan 4CS. Pengembangan menggunakan 2 rancangan yaitu langkah penelitian Bolrg & Gall dan langkah pengembangan produk Model ADDIE. Penelitian ini melibatkan ahli desain, materi, dan media, dosen dan mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan validasi produk yang dilakukan ahli desain, materi, dan media menunjukkan produk layak dan dapat dilakukan uji coba. Dalam uji coba kelompok kecil, uji coba kelompok besar dan uji lapangan memperoleh respon positif dari dosen dan mahasiswa, dan untuk hasil perlakuan antara sebelum diberikan aktivitas WISE dan sesudah diberikan aktivitas WISE menujukkan kemajuan kemampuan yang sangat signifikan. Ini menandakan bahwa aktivitas WISE dapat meningkatkan kemampuan 4Cs. Ini juga berarti tuntutan lulusan abad 21 dapat dijembati dengan melakukan aktivitas WIS dengan menggunakan strategi projek based learning.

Abstract

UKM Kelompok Amanah di Kelurahan Dukuh Menanggal merupakan UKM yang sudah terdaftar dan menjadi UKM binaan Dinas Koperasi serta menjadi peserta unggulah Pahlawan Ekonomi gelaran Pemkot Surabaya. Tujuan penelitian ini merupakan evaluasi kelayakan bisnis dari aspek teknologi dan aspek finansial. Populasi dari UKM Amanah sebanyak 27 UKM sedangkan Sampel yang diteliti sebanyak 1 UKM dengan menggunakan purposive sampling yang ditujukan pada UKM Berkah yang sudah memiliki sertifikat PIRT. Analisa data menggunakan odd ratio dan NPV, Profitability Index, Payback Period, ARR. Hasil Analisa data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari aspek teknologi untuk Analisa Odd ratio menunjukan OR = 6,17 (95% CI 0,315 < OR < 132,73) artinya faktor kelayakan yang disampaikan untuk penggunaan teknologi pemasaran online cenderung 6,17 kali lebih tinggi diberikan oleh persepsi masyarakat daripada oleh pelaku UKM sendiri. Aspek finansial dengan menggunakan 100% modal sendiri didapatkan hasil Net Present Value (NPV) sebesar Rp. 125.980.031, selanjutnya Payback Period (PP) yaitu 1 tahun 3 bulan, Profitability Index (PI) sebesar 4.072 dan Average Rate of Return (ARR) sebesar 27,92%.

Abstract

This study aims at determining the conditions and characteristics of shrimp waste, the economic value of the potential for shrimp waste, as well as the policy direction for implementing the Circular Economy of Shrimp Waste as a Green Economy Alternative in the Bulak Banteng Kenjeran Coastal Area, Surabaya City. The research method used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative with the process hierarchy analysis technique (AHP). The data collection method was carried out by distributing questionnaires and in-depth interviews with selected respondents. The results showed that the characteristics of shrimp waste in the form of shrimp heads and shells were still not used for economic value activities, and people dumped them in gutters around homes and at sea. The priority policy directions that can be applied to the Circular Economy of Shrimp Waste as an Alternative to a Green Economy are; 1) providing innovation and technology for economic-based shrimp waste processing with a total CR (consistency ratio) value of 1.878; 2) to improve environmental health by not disposing of shrimp waste around the house, the total value of CR is 1.127; and, 3) the government provides a shrimp processing industry for fishermen with a total CR value of 0.094. Each policy priority can be carried out in synergy so that shrimp waste can be handled properly.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the test results: (1) The Effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) Strategies and Expository Methods on Students' Chemistry Learning Outcomes, (2) The Effect of High and Low Learning Motivation on Students' Chemistry Learning Outcomes, (3 ) Interaction Between Problem Based Learning (PBL) Strategy and Learning Motivation on Students' Chemistry Learning Outcomes. This experimental research was carried out using a 2x2 factorial design. The subjects in this study were students of class XI which consisted of four classes with 120 students. The subjects that became the focus of the experiment were classically randomized, namely four ABCD classes from SMAN 1 Sangkapura. The research hypothesis was tested using the Analysis of Variant (Anova) statistical test. The results of the calculation show that: (1) Chemistry Learning Outcomes of students who are taught with Problem Based Learning (PBL) Strategy, namely Based on the table it turns out to be 0.000 <0.05, it can be said to be significant, (2) Chemistry Learning Outcomes of students who have high learning motivation and have Learning motivation is low, that is, based on the table, it turns out 0.013 <0.05, it can be said to be significant, and (3). Based on the table, 0.000 < 0.05, it can be said that there is an interaction between Problem Based Learning (PBL) Strategy, Expository Method, and Learning Motivation on Chemistry Learning Outcomes. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that by using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Strategy, the Expository Method, and Learning Motivation could improve students' Chemistry Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the use of Hybrid Learning and achievement motivation on Student Civic Education Learning Outcomes. This study used a 2X2 factorial quasi-experimental design. The research data were collected using the questionnaire method and the test method. Then the data were analyzed using the two-way ANOVA statistical analysis technique. The research population was all students of class VI SDN Kaliasin I Surabaya. In this study, the instruments used were study questionnaires and PPKN learning outcomes tests. This questionnaire uses a Likert scale. Data collection methods commonly used in a study are: tests, interviews, questionnaires, and observations. Based on the research, the following results were obtained (1) There is a difference in the effect of Hybrid Learning and Online Learning on student Civic Education learning outcomes. PPKN learning using Hybrid Learning produces student PPKN learning outcomes better than Online Learning, (2) There are differences in PPKN learning outcomes for students who have high achievement motivation and students who have low achievement motivation. Students who have a high level of achievement motivation produce better PPKN learning outcomes than students who have a low level of achievement motivation, and (3) There is an interaction between learning models and achievement motivation on PPKN learning outcomes. Civics learning using Hybrid Learning on students who have a high level of achievement motivation have better PPKN learning outcomes than students who have a low level of achievement motivation. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that using Hybrid Learning and achievement motivation could improve student learning outcomes of PPKN at SDN Kaliasin I Surabaya. The implication of this research is that Hybrid Learning can be used as a way to improve student learning outcomes in Civics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the test results: (1) Knowing the differences in the use of the internet on students' mathematical reasoning abilities, (2) Knowing the differences in learning motivation on students' mathematical reasoning abilities, and (3) Knowing the interaction between internet use and learning motivation on students' mathematical reasoning abilities. This experimental research was carried out using a 2x2 factorial design. The results of the calculation show that: (a) The use of internet media can increase students' ability to understand more deeply and be inspired by actual events, (b) The use of internet media students will be more motivated to understand the content of messages that can resemble facts or actual events, and (c) ) the effect in the interaction to improve students' understanding of the subject matter between the use of learning media or students' learning motivation. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that by using Internet Media Utilization. From the results of the analysis showed that between learning media and learning motivation both contributed jointly between learning media and learning motivation, meaning that the effect of interaction between learning media and learning motivation could increase students' ability to understand both in terms of the use of internet media and without using internet media and both students who have high motivation and those who have low motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this development is to produce a WAG-Based E-Book learning media in the form of an electronic book with English subject matter. The development model used in the development of interactive learning multimedia is the Borg & Gall model. The research and development stages of the Borg & Gall model consist of ten steps. The development process involves subject matter experts, instructional design experts and learning media experts to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement. In addition, the English teacher and class VII students of SMPN 1 Songgon Banyuwangi as users of this WAG-Based E-Book also gave their feedback and input. The results of this development research are (1) the product development in the form of an E-Book based on WAG learning English for Class VII Students of SMPN 1 Songgon Banyuwangi has been improved based on the analysis of trial data. Aspects revealed to carry out revisions include: content experts, design experts, media experts, individual trials, small group trials, field trials, and peer trials, (2) There are several things that need to be improved in product development. According to content experts, the level of difficulty in making questions needs to pay attention to students' abilities, and (3) As for the peer test, giving advice on writing a bibliography must be in accordance with the level of writing a bibliography. Individual tests and field tests on average gave the respondents a choice of answers, very good/very appropriate and good/appropriate. Also giving a positive impression in the development of WAG-Based E-Book products themselves, they prefer WAG-Based E-Books as teaching materials that can add information according to their respective expertise competencies and can also increase independent learning for students.
