Abstract

Abstrak: Covid-19 memberikan pengaruh kepada berbagai sektor salah satunya pendidikan. Proses perubahan model pembelajaran dari face to face menjadi daring dan luring maupun kombinasi yang dapat memberikan pengaruh. Siswa mengeluhkan kurangnya interaksi bersama guru sehingga kehilangan motivasi belajar yang dapat menurunkan hasil belajar sehingga perlu alternatif pemecahan masalah tersebut. Karenanya, peneliti meneliti mengenai bagaimana penerapan model blended learning pada siswa SMK serta pengaruhnya menggunakan berbagai media e learning terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar menggunakan metode penelitian kajian literatur sistematis agar nantinya sebagai pertimbangan pelaksanaan blended learning di masa covid 19. Kesimpulannya, model blended learning menggunakan media online e learning Edmodo, LMS Moodle, maupun Google Classroom menghasilkan hasil yang sama yaitu dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Namun, google classroom lebih direkomendasikan.Abstract: Covid-19 has had an impact on various sectors, one of which is education. The process of changing the learning model from face to face to online and offline as well as a combination that can have an impact. Students complain about the lack of interaction with the teacher so that they lose motivation to learn which can reduce learning outcomes so that alternative solutions are needed. Therefore, researchers examined how the application of the blended learning model to vocational students and the effect of using various e-learning media on motivation and learning outcomes using a systematic literature review research method would be used as a consideration for the implementation of blended learning during the covid 19 periods. In conclusion, the blended learning model uses media online e-learning Edmodo, LMS Moodle, and Google Classroom produced the same results, namely increasing student motivation and learning outcomes. However, Google Classroom is more recommended.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' critical thinking skills through a contextual teaching-learning model in a ship stability course. This qualitative study employs a case study approach to deeply understand the application of contextual teaching in ship stability courses. The data collection method uses written tests and interviews. The subjects are all 38 third-semester Ship Operation Engineering Technology Study Program students in the 2023/2024 academic year. Tests were conducted twice: pre-test and post-test. The average pre-test score for critical thinking was 52.38, and the post-test average was 82.45, categorized as very good. The analysis concluded that students' scores were shallow before contextual learning but improved significantly to an excellent category after the application

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are essential skills in the learning process that can affect student learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the relationship between critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes through the application of a guided inquiry learning model. The guided inquiry model was chosen because it encourages students to identify problems, formulate hypotheses, and find solutions independently with the guidance of teachers, thereby strengthening critical thinking skills. The results of the study showed that there was a significant positive correlation between students' critical thinking skills and their learning outcomes. Students who have good critical thinking skills show improved concept understanding, analytical skills, and higher learning outcomes compared to students who have low critical thinking skills. This study recommends the application of the guided inquiry model more widely to improve students' critical thinking skills and learning outcomes, especially in subjects that require problem-solving and in-depth analysis.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to improve the quality of basic mechanical engineering learning at Sekolah Indonesia Davao (SID) through the application of innovative and effective learning media. SID has limited access to basic mechanical engineering learning materials, and there is no media that makes it easier to understand the material. To overcome this problem, the community service activity implementation team implemented basic engineering learning media aimed for junior high and high school levels. The implementation methods included identifying partner problems, determining solutions, implementing media, monitoring, and compiling reports. The results of the implementation of this activity showed that the basic mechanical engineering learning media has been handed over to the partner on May 28, 2024, and training on how to operate the media has been carried out. This activity also received a positive response from the partner, because it made a significant contribution to improving the understanding and skills of students at SID in the field of mechanical engineering, as well as strengthening cooperation between Surabaya State University and SID in the field of education.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian: 1. Memperoleh informasi tentang tingkat keterlaksanaan pembelajaran Permesinan Lanjut di SMK Negeri Surabaya? 2. Memperoleh informasi tentang tingkat kebutuhan pembelajaran Permesinan Lanjut terhadap Industri di Surabaya, dan 3. Memperoleh informasi tentang tingkat relevasi pembelajaran Permesinan Lanjut di SMK terdapat kebutuh industri manufaktur di Surabaya? Obyek penelitian adalah guru pengampu mata pelajaran teknik permesinan - lanjut sebanyak 10 orang di SMK Negeri 2; 3 dan 7 di Surabaya, dan indusri pasangan praktek kerja industri sebanyak 10 karyawan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantatif. Materi permesinan lanjut meliputi: 1) Teknik Permesinan Bubut; 2) Teknik Permesinan Frais; 3) Teknik Permesinan Gerinda; dan 4) Teknik Permesinan NC/CNC dan CAM. Hasil penelitian menemukan: tingkat relevansi pembelajaran di SMK terhadap kompetensi yang dibutuhkan industry manufaktur sebesar 81,50%. Persentasi ini dalam kategori relevan. Kata kunci: Kompetensi, Rerevansi, Permesinan Lanjut. This study aims to: 1. Obtaining information on the amount of implementation level Advanced Machinery learning at SMK Negeri Surabaya? 2. Obtaining information on the level of advanced machine learning needs for Industry in Surabaya, and 3. Obtaining information on the relevation level of Advanced Machinery learning at SMK is there to the need for a manufacturing industry in Surabaya? Object research of the teacher who teaches the subject of advanced machinery engineering as many as 10 people at SMK Negeri: 2; 3; and 7 in Surabaya, and 10 employees of industry practice couples. The study is a quantative descriptive study. Advanced machining materials include: 1) Lathe Machining Engineering; 2) Milling Machinery Engineering; 3) Grinding Machinery Engineering; and 4) NC/CNC and CAM Machining Engineering. This results of the study found: the level of relevance learning in SMK to the Competencies required the manufacturing industry was 81.50%. This percentage is relevant category. Abstract

Quality education is a crucial foundation for sustainable development, as emphasized in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly the fourth goal regarding inclusive and quality education. In the era of Industry 4.0, education must rapidly adapt to technological changes and enhance educators' competencies to equip the younger generation with future skills. Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL) has adopted the K-13 Curriculum with the Living Curriculum concept to align learning with students' real needs and global challenges. Despite implementing various innovations, SIKL faces challenges in implementing the new Merdeka Curriculum, which offers flexibility but requires adjustments in teaching methods and evaluation. This knowledge gap threatens the quality of education and the development of 21st-century skills for students. To address this, a team of lecturers from Universitas Negeri Surabaya conducted a Community Service Program (CSP) aimed at enhancing teachers' competencies in effectively implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. The implementation method includes online training divided into three sessions: Focus Group Discussion (FGD), presentation of learning models, and evaluation techniques. The CSP activities resulted in a significant increase in teachers' understanding and skills, with average scores rising from 68 to 86, and improvements in utilizing technology and data-based evaluation. This activity successfully strengthened teachers' competencies, making them better prepared to meet global educational demands and advance teaching quality at SIKL.

Abstract

The demands of the world of work require that every student must have competence. Work readiness to enter the world of work can be influenced by several factors. Do soft skills and industrial practical work experience affect vocational students' work readiness? This study aims to obtain a correlation between practical industrial work experience and soft skills on vocational school students' work readiness with quantitative methods through a questionnaire using google form at Vocational High School of RadenPatah, Mojokerto, class XII, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. The data obtained from 72 students in the sample were analyzed by using the Multiple Regression Test using SPSS 23 software. The results of this study indicate: (1) there is a significant correlation with the direction of a positive relationship between industrial work practice experience and work readiness of 24.4% (2) there is a significant correlation with the direction of the positive relationship between soft skills and work readiness of 25.4% (3) there is a significant correlation with the direction of the positive relationship between industrial work practice experience and soft skills simultaneously to work readiness by 31.1%.
