Abstract

Persoalan pada pembelajaran saat ini adalah tuntutan kurikulum yang kompleks sehingga menuntut kreativitas guru untuk memanfaatkan sumber belajar kontektual sedangkan sumber belajar IPS yang ada dan dimanfaatkan guru selama ini hanya fokus dikembangkan pada aspek kognitif. Gejala ini berdampak pada pandangan peserta didik dan masyarakat terhadap pembelajaran IPS, bahwa pembelajaran IPS hanya menghafal fakta dan konsep seharusnya pembelajaran IPS bisa dibuat menyenangkan dengan memasukkan sumber belajar yang ada di sekitar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Aktivitas Sosial Masyarakat Kampung Pelangi Banjarbaru yang kemudian dijadikan Sebagai Sumber belajar IPS. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Uji keabsahan data melalui triangulasi sumber, teknik, dan waktu, member check, dan perpanjangan pengamatan. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan beberapa bentuk aktivitas sosial yang ada di kampung pelangi Banjarbaru. Bentuk aktivitas tersebut yaitu, kebersihan lingkungan, pelatihan keterampilan wanita, bakti sosial dan arisan yasinan. Bentuk aktivitas sosial ini kemudian dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber belajar IPS yang kontekstual, dengan sumber belajar yang kontekstual diharapkan peserta didik dapat dengan mudah memahami materi pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru, sehingga pandangan tentang pembelajaran IPS yang hanya menghafal berubah dengan adanya sumber belajar yang kontekstual

Abstract

Technology integration in learning is essential in this digital era to improve student interaction and understanding. This community service aims to develop and implement Flipbook Maker as an electronic learning media for Social Sciences (IPS) subjects. The methods used in this community service activity include the planning, training, implementation, and evaluation stages. First, a needs analysis was conducted to determine the material to be presented as a flipbook. Second, IPS teachers were given intensive training on integrating Flipbook Maker into the curriculum.Furthermore, the flipbooks that had been created were tested in several classes to see their effectiveness and student responses. The activity results showed that using Flipbook Maker as an electronic learning medium can increase student interest, facilitate material delivery, and enrich learning resources. The evaluation showed that most students felt more motivated and helped understand IPS material. Thus, Flipbook Maker can be an alternative and innovative learning media for IPS subjects.

Abstract

The skills of junior high school social studies teachers in Banjarbaru City must be improved. Therefore, the Lambung Mangkurat University service team collaborated with MGMP IPS through a partnership program. The aim is to improve their ability to develop classroom action research (PTK) in that place. The purpose of this training is to improve teachers' ability to design PTK proposals in accordance with the needs of learning improvement. The training participants totaled 28 teachers, and the service methods used included lectures, interactive discussions, and PTK proposal clinic training. As a result of the training, junior high school social studies teachers who are members of MGMP IPS Banjarbaru City made several PTK proposals. In summary, teachers who attended the training were able to make a class action research proposal.

Abstract

Konsep utama dari materi pembelajaran IPS ini berkaitan dengan produksi, distribusi dan konsumsi. Ekonomi selalu berkaitan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya, baik barang maupun jasa. Terbukti adanya kontribusi materi kewirausahaan bagi perkembangan Indonesia dalam peluang usaha yang di jadikan sebagai lahan bisnis dengan mencurahkan seluruh waktunya untuk menciptakan peluang usaha yang kreatif dan inovatif. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan materi kewirausahaan dalam pembelajaran IPS yang dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pembangunan Indonesia. Materi pembelajaran IPS memiliki peran penting dalam proses belajar mengajar dan mengandung makna jiwa kewirausahaan yang bertanggung jawab, pantang menyerah, percaya diri dan kemampuan dalam berwirausaha. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur. Strategi pencarian dengan mencari buku, ebook, dan jurnal melalui google scholar. Pencarian data sarjana di Google menggunakan kata kunci dengan mencari jurnal penelitian yang dipublikasikan di internet, baik jurnal, buku maupun ebook. Hasil dari artikel ini bertujuan untuk membekali mahasiswa dengan nilai-nilai ekonomi dan memiliki jiwa wirausaha.

Abstract

Pembangunan infrastruktur memberikan peranan yang sangat penting untuk memacu pertumbuhan ekonomi, satu diantaranya yaitu pembangunan jembatan Sei Alalak 1. Namun, dalam proses pembangunannya memerlukan waktu yang relative lama sehingga hal ini dapat memberikan dampak terhadap massyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan Dampak Proyek Pembangunan Jembatan Sei Alalak I Terhadap Sosial Ekonomi Masyarakat di Kelurahan Alalak Utara. Penelitian in menggunakan Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan perpanjangan pengamatan, meningkatkan kecermatan dan triangulasi (sumber dan teknik). Hasil penelitian :  Dampak sosial ekonomi masyarakat di Kelurahan Alalak Utara berupa bantuan atau ganti rugi dari pemerintahan terhadap pembangunan jembatan ini karena diketahui dalam pembangunnya menyebabkan beberapa rumah masyarakat menjadi retak. Hal ini menimbulkan ketergantungan dalam masyarakat dengan adanya bantuan tersebut. Selain itu, beberapa pemilik usaha di sekitar jembatan mengaku usahanya menjadi lebih sepi semenjak ada proyek pembangunan karena jalan disekitarnya juga harus ditutup. Dengan diresmikannya Jembatan Sei Alalak 1, hal ini juga meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat. Dampak lain yang dirasakan masyarakat sekitar adalah banyaknya debu yang cukup mengganggu aktivitas sehari-hari karena menyebabkan rumah menjadi kotor dan juga gangguan pada pernapasan.

Abstract

Nilai budaya lokal dipandang sebagai warisan sosial yang unggul, dimana nilai dari budaya tersebut dapat memiliki kebanggaan dan kebesaran martabat suatu masyarakat, juga merupakan nilai yang sangat berharga. Tujuan penelitian ini mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai budaya lokal masyarakat Banjar di Kelurahan Alalak Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara, pengamatan dan dokumentasi dalam pengumpulan data. Reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan digunakan dalam analisis data Sedangkan uji keabsahan data melalui perpanjangan pengamatan, member check, dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian: nilai budaya Banjar; hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan konsep nilai religi, hubungan manusia dengan alam, hubungan manusia dengan manusia konsep nilai sosial, dan hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri konsep nilai moral.

Abstract

Broad knowledge and open thinking are not widely possessed by the community in the Kelayan riverbank area. This study aims to determine the planning of organization, direction, coordination and control to be able to manage community-based floods in the riverbank area. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a naturalistic approach. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data sources obtained through primary data itself which are the subjects of this study include the heads of RT, RW, environmental observers, community leaders and several government officials related to community-based flood management in the area. The research subjects were selected using the Snowball Sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out using narrative and discourse analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was found that planning, organizing and coordination in the Kelayan riverbank community were quite insightful to the community regarding the importance of environmental protection so that natural disasters do not occur, so that organization needs to be considered. Thus, it can be concluded that community-based flood management produces alternatives or solutions so that there is no more flooding in the Kelayan riverbank area, South Banjarmasin District, so that it becomes a safe and comfortable environment to live in.

Abstract

Klotok as a river transportation mode is interesting to study. However, not much research focuses on how the role of klotok as a mode of transportation can attract tourists. Klotok becomes an icon as a river tourism icon because it presents a uniqueness for the audience. This study aims to describe how the role of klotok and its existence for the Banjar community. Interviews were conducted with three community groups, namely: klotok owners, traders, and visitors to the Siring Menara Pandang tourist destination. This is intended to provide a complete description of the function of klotok as a mode of water transportation, especially in river areas. The results of the study describe how klotok as a mode of water transportation is moored on the edge of the Martapura River, precisely Siring Menara Pandang. The choice of location is because Siring Menara Pandang is a public space that is used as well as a tourist destination. Revitalizing the river by prioritizing the river as a selling price to tourists has positioned klotok as a vital mode of transportation. Based on its development, klotok not only acts as a mode of river transportation but also as a choice of entertainment attractions for river tourism

Abstract

The lack of contextual and environmentally relevant learning approaches, such as place-based pedagogy, causes students to lack understanding of the importance of environmental conservation in real life. This article examines the place-based pedagogy approach in increasing students' awareness and participation in environmental conservation, focusing on the habitat of the Proboscis Monkey. The study used qualitative methods to evaluate the impact of an educational approach that connects learning to the local geographic, cultural, and ecological context. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, involving students, lecturers, and the Indonesian Proboscis Monkey Friends Foundation. Data analysis was conducted thematically with triangulation to ensure validity. The results showed that the place-based pedagogy approach significantly increased students' ecological awareness, encouraged direct involvement in conservation, and built emotional connections with the local environment. The study recommends the integration of the place-based approach into the higher education curriculum, with a focus on practical activities such as field research, community service projects, and seminars with conservation practitioners. In conclusion, the place-based pedagogy approach can effectively increase students' awareness and involvement in environmental conservation. The implications of this research include the need to strengthen collaboration between universities and local communities, develop inclusive and contextual education policies.
