Abstract

Abstract

Mastery of overhead passing techniques is still low because the lack of drill training models has resulted in the mastery of passing techniques not increasing. This research aims to determine the results of a drill training model to improve the passing results of amateur teenage volleyball players aged 14-15 years. The method used in this research is quasi-experimental, with a one-group pre-post test design approach. The population in this study consisted of 15 people, consisting of 10 boys and 5 girls aged 14-15 years, as well as amateur youth volleyball players aged 14-15 years, using saturated sampling techniques. The instruments or tools used in this research are tests and measurements, namely overhead passing ability tests. The method of collecting student data can be seen when students pass over the wall for 1 minute. Data analysis was carried out using the SPSS version 22 software method through the stages of data normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. Based on the findings of this research, tcount -5.172 > ttable 1.761, with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. Therefore, the results of the t-test in this study are significant. Using the drill training model effectively improves the passing results of amateur teenage volleyball players aged 14-15 years.

Abstract

Children with deaf in SLB face challenges in physical education due to the limited availability of learning media that are interesting, communicative, and tailored to their needs. The lack of innovative media makes the learning process monotonous. The purpose of this study was to develop Sport Literation Board-based learning media for children with deaf in grades 1–3 at SLB in Palembang City to increase their interest in learning physical education. This study employed the ADDIE method, involving 35 participants from three SLB in Palembang City. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The results showed that the Sport Literation Board was valid with a CVR score of 0.1 (valid category). In the trial stage, children scored between 72.91 (lowest) and 100 (highest) in the small-scale trial, and between 25 (lowest) and 93.75 (highest) in the large-scale trial. These findings indicate that the Sport Literation Board is effective, practical, and suitable for adaptive physical education for children with deaf in SLB.

Abstract

The low level of physical activity among vocational high school students has become an increasing concern, particularly due to sedentary lifestyles and the intensive use of digital devices in daily activities. This community service program was implemented through a teaching assistance activity at SMK Arinda Palembang with the aim of improving students’ physical activity levels, movement coordination, and motivation to engage in regular physical exercise. The program was conducted over a two-month period, from October to November 2025, involving Grade X and XI students. A participatory-practice approach was applied, consisting of an initial observation of students’ physical activity conditions, delivery of basic physical fitness material, demonstration and practice of creative gymnastics, and evaluation based on observation. The creative gymnastics program included Senam Anak Indonesia Hebat, Poco-Poco, and Maumere, each session lasting approximately 30 minutes. The results indicated an increase in students’ active participation and enthusiasm, improved ability to maintain movement intensity throughout the sessions, enhanced coordination and rhythmic accuracy, and more positive attitudes toward physical activity. In addition, the program contributed to reducing sedentary behavior within the school environment. This creative gymnastics program serves as a simple, enjoyable, and sustainable alternative to support the integration of regular physical activity into school routines.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop the MASK learning model (Mengajar Ala Spinner dan Kartu) as an innovative instructional medium for improving fundamental movement skills among Phase C elementary school students. Employing a Research and Development approach with the ADDIE model, the study involved expert validation, small-scale field testing, and large-scale field testing across several public elementary schools in Gumay Ulu District, Lahat Regency. Data were collected through expert judgment, observation, and performance-based assessments. The results indicated that the MASK learning model met acceptable validity criteria and demonstrated practical feasibility in classroom implementation. Findings from both small- and large-scale trials showed that most students achieved good to very good performance levels in locomotor, non-locomotor, and manipulative skills, accompanied by increased engagement and motivation during learning activities. These results suggest that the MASK learning model constitutes a valid and effective instructional alternative for elementary Physical Education learning grounded in physical literacy principles.

Abstract

Football performance depends on technical skill and physical conditioning, with shooting ability as a key determinant of goal scoring. However, youth players often show low shooting accuracy and reduced engagement due to monotonous training. This study aimed to develop and validate a multi-station shooting training model for 15-year-old football players. A Research and Development approach using the ADDIE framework was applied, involving expert validation and field trials. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive percentages and content validity measures. Results showed that the model is valid and effective, with expert validation reaching 86.6%, small-scale trials 94.37%, and large-scale trials 90.56%. The model integrates speed, accuracy, strength, core stability, leg strength, and power, improving both shooting performance and player engagement. This study provides a practical and evidence-based training model with implications for youth football coaching and sports training methodology.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a Monopoly-based learning medium for Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) for Grade V elementary school students and to examine its feasibility through expert validation. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach guided by the ADDIE model, encompassing needs analysis, design, development, and expert validation stages. Needs analysis revealed limited use of instructional media in PJOK learning, resulting in low student engagement and weak conceptual understanding. The developed Monopoly-based media integrated cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning components through theory-based questions, structured movement challenges, and collaborative gameplay. Expert validation involved a PJOK subject matter expert, a learning media expert, and a senior PJOK teacher. The validation results indicated high feasibility and content validity, supported by favorable CVR and CVI values. These findings suggest that the developed learning media is pedagogically sound and suitable for further field testing.
