Abstract

This study aims to examine the principal’s management in integrating character education at Realfunrainbow Kindergarten in Salatiga City. Character education in early childhood has become increasingly important in response to globalization, the rapid development of digital technology, and socio-cultural changes that influence children’s behavior. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Methodological triangulation was applied to ensure the credibility of the findings. The research participants included the principal, two Group B teachers, three parents as program beneficiaries, and three local MSME owners as internship partners. Data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal a distinctive innovation at Realfunrainbow Kindergarten, namely the integration of character education with local socio-economic contexts through internship programs at MSMEs. This initiative enables children to practice values such as discipline, cooperation, respect, and responsibility in authentic settings, thereby strengthening experiential learning and community engagement. In addition, the integration of character education is systematically implemented through the principal’s management functions, including planning, organizing, mobilizing, and controlling. Planning is based on needs analysis with a focus on character development, while organizing involves assigning teachers as mentors, engaging parents as collaborators, and establishing partnerships with local MSMEs. Mobilization is carried out through role modeling and motivation, whereas controlling is conducted through continuous supervision and evaluation. In conclusion, the successful integration of character education is largely determined by the principal’s managerial and leadership capacities in managing school resources comprehensively and sustainably, as well as in fostering community partnerships to support early childhood character development.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of the digital economy has intensified competition among digital startups, yet high failure rates indicate that technological access alone is insufficient to ensure long-term success. While prior studies emphasize digital innovation and technological capability, limited research explains how the cyberpreneurial mindset functions as a strategic intangible resource that drives sustainable startup performance. Grounded in the Resource-Based View (RBV) and Dynamic Capability Theory (DCT), this study investigates how cyberpreneurial mindset dimensions of digital adaptability, opportunity recognition, innovation orientation, and calculated risk-taking contribute to digital startup success through the mediating role of strategic agility. This research addresses the gap concerning the cognitive behavioral foundations of digital entrepreneurial performance in emerging digital ecosystems. A quantitative approach was em- ployed using survey data collected from founders and top managers of digital startups. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test both direct and mediating relationships among constructs. The findings demonstrate that cyberpreneurial mindset significantly influences digital startup success, particularly through digital adaptability and innovation orientation. The study concludes that cyberpreneurial mindset rep- resents a valuable, rare, and inimitable intangible resource that strengthens a startup’s dynamic capabilities, enabling firms to sense, seize, and transform opportunities in volatile digital environments. This research contributes theoretically by integrating RBV and Dynamic Capability Theory into cyberpreneurship literature and provides managerial implications for digital entrepreneurs seeking sustainable growth in emerging economies.

Abstract

Academic data management at universities often faces challenges related to security, transparency, and efficiency. Conventional systems are still vulnerable to manipulation, data duplication, and slow verification processes. This situation demands technological innovation to strengthen academic data governance comprehensively. This study aims to analyze the application of blockchain technology as a solution to transform academic data management and evaluate its contribution to improving security, transparency, and accountability in university governance. The research approach uses a systematic literature review and a comparative analysis of traditional data management models and blockchain based systems. In addition, empirical validation was conducted through a survey involving 120 respondents consisting of academic stakeholders, including lecturers, administrative staff, and students. Furthermore, a mapping of university governance needs and simulation of relevant blockchain architectures for academic applications were conducted. The results show that blockchain integration can improve academic data integrity through distributed recording and encryption mechanisms. This technology also accelerates the diploma verification process, minimizes the risk of document forgery, and increases the efficiency of data exchange between university units. The application of blockchain in academic data management has the potential to become a strong foundation for more transparent, secure, and efficient university governance. This transformation can drive improvements in academic services and support more accurate decision-making based on reliable data.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing taxpayers' intention to use artificial intelligence (AI) for tax assistance in Indonesia. The research design employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey method of 200 respondents who had used AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar tools for tax assistance. The UTAUT2 model was modified by adding the Trust in AI construct and removing the Use Behavior construct. Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS 4. The results showed that habit, performance expectancy, price value, and trust in AI significantly influenced behavioral intention, while effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, social influence, and hedonic motivation were insignificant. These findings confirm that intention to use AI in taxation is more influenced by practical experience and perceived value than by convenience or social influence. A limitation of this study is that it did not measure actual behavior; therefore, further research is recommended to examine this aspect. This study provides theoretical contributions to the development of AI adoption models in taxation, as well as practical implications for tax authorities and technology providers.
