Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the GeoGebra-assisteddiscovery learning model to learning outcomes in mathematics for grade VIII junior high school studentswith indicators of learning effectiveness, namely student learning outcomes, student activities, andstudent responses. This study is a pre-experiment with a quantitative approach to a one group pretest-posttest design using cluster random sampling techniques. The population in this study was students inclass VIII junior high school, and the research sample consisted of one experimental class group of 23students. Pretests and posttests were used to collect data on student learning outcomes; student activityobservation sheets were used to collect data on student activity; and student response questionnaireswere used to collect data on student response. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics andinferential statistics so that, in general, it can be concluded that the application of the GeoGebra-assisteddiscovery learning model is effectively applied to mathematics learning for grade VIII junior high schoolstudents.

Abstract

This research was quasi-experimental which aims to know the difference between students' mathematics learning outcomes who are taught by using cooperative learning model TGT type and students' mathematics learning outcomes who are taught by using cooperative learning model NHT type viewed from students’ interpersonal intelligence. The population in this research was Ten-grade students. The sample consisted of two classes, namely class X MIA 1 as first treatment class taught by using TGT learning model and class X MIA 2 as second treatment class taught by using direct NHT learning model selected by cluster random sampling technique. The variables in this research were cooperative learning model, students’ interpersonal intelligence, and mathematics learning outcomes. The research instruments used were observation sheets, questionnaires about students’ interpersonal intelligence, and mathematics learning outcomes tests. The data obtained were analyzed by using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis through Two Way ANOVA. Based on the result of the Two Way ANOVA, it was found that there is no difference between students' mathematics learning outcomes who are taught by using cooperative learning model TGT type and students' mathematics learning outcomes who are taught by using cooperative learning model NHT type viewed from students’ interpersonal intelligence.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the comparison of student learning achievement through the application of the cooperative model type Snowball Throwing and Make a Match in mathematics learning. This research was an experimental research involving two groups treated with research sample of 47 students from class VII SMP Sinjai selected by using the double cluster random sampling technique. Techniques of collecting data using instruments: (1) observation sheet of learning model implementation and (2) tests of mathematics learning result.Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with t-test analysis. The results showed that : (1) Average score of mathematics learning achievement of 25 students after learning using the Snowball Throwing type of cooperative learning model which is 4% in the very low category, 40% in the medium category, 36% in the high category and 20% in the very high category. (2) The average score of mathematics learning achievement from 22 students after learning using the Make a Match type of learning model is 9.09% in the very low category, 4.54% in the low category, 50% in the medium category and 18, 18% in the high and very high categories. (3) There is no significant difference between student achievement after applying the snowball throwing type cooperative learning model and the type of make a match in Class VII Junior High School with the Rectangular Build Up material.

Abstract

This research aims to describe students' thinking processes in solving trigonometry problems in terms of reflective and impulsive cognitive styles. It is a descriptive study with a quantitative and qualitative approach. The subjects in this research were four students from the 11th grade of a high school, two students in each group representing the reflective and impulsive cognitive styles based on their results in the trigonometry problem-solving test. Data were collected through tests and interviews. The instruments used for data collection included trigonometry problem-solving tests, MFFT cognitive style tests, and interview guidelines. The results of this research indicate that: (1) Students with a reflective cognitive style and high scores in the trigonometry problem-solving test (SRT)tend to undergo an assimilation process, reaching equilibrium at each stage of problem-solving. (2) Students with an impulsive cognitive style and high scores in the trigonometry problem-solving test (SIT) also experience an assimilation process, reaching equilibrium, but undergo accommodation during the stage of planning problem-solving strategies. (3) Students with both reflective and impulsive cognitive styles and low scores in the trigonometry problem-solving test (SRR and SIR) tend to be in a state of disequilibrium, unable to integrate the existing schemes in their minds with their knowledge.

Abstract

This study aims to know the description of students' error in solving Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) mathematical problems and the description of errors differences of geometry based on Hadar criteria. This type of research is descriptive research using qualitative approach. Retrieval of the subject is performed by providing prior knowledge test of grade XII MIPA 3 , then from the result of thetest selected 6 subjects based on existing categories. The instrument used in this research are prior knowledge test which contains 30 number of multiple choices, written tests of Higher Order Thinking Skills which contains 2 number of essay and interview guidelines. Errors are analyzed by using the Hadar error category which consists of 6 errors. The results of this research show that based on the Hadar error criteria, errors that occur are misused data, misinterpreted language, logically in valid inference, distorted theorem or definition, unverified solution, and technical error. Subjects who solving HOTS mathematics problem of geometry tend to make logically invalid inference, distorted definition or theorem, and technical errors. The results of this research are expected to add insight about the types of errors made by the students of senior high school in geometry topic, especially in solving higher order thinking skills problems so that the mistakes can be immediately minimized in the process of learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi kesalahan siswa dalam operasi perkalian dengan menerapkan metode perkalian latis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah 24 siswa yang dipilih secara purposive. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas VII dari salah satu SMP di Parepare. Tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Intrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri atas lembar observasi, soal tes, dan angket. Desain PTK menggunakan model Kemmis dan Tanggart yang meliputi perencanaan, tindakan/pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Skor rata-rata hasil tes matematika siswa setelah pemberian tindakan pada siklus I adalah 58,33 dari skor ideal 100 dan sebanyak 15 siswa yang melakukan kesalahan dalam operasi perkalian. Sedangkan skor rata-rata hasil tes matematika siswa setelah pemberian tindakan pada siklus II adalah 80,83 dari skor ideal 100 dan sudah tidak ada lagi siswa yang melakukan kesalahan. Kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal operasi perkalian bilangan bulat dan bilangan pecahan desimal terdapat tiga aspek kesalahan yaitu kesalahan dalam memahami konsep, kesalahan proses penyelesaian, dan kesalahan penarikan kesimpulan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode latis dapat mengurangi kesalahan siswa dalam operasi perkalian ditinjau dari kemampuan awal siswa SMP di Parepare

Abstract

Ethnomathematics plays a crucial role in exploring Indonesia's rich cultural diversity, particularly concerning the Lopi Sandeq, a traditional boat of the Mandar Tribe in West Sulawesi. This research investigates the intuitive ethnomathematics employed in the construction of the Lopi Sandeq, a process that traditionally eschews formal mathematical calculations. The study aims to delve into how intuition, honed through generations of experience and acute visual perception, serves as the primary determinant for achieving the boat's renowned balance and precision. Utilizing a qualitative approach with an interpretive phenomenological design, the research gathered data through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation from experienced Lopi Sandeq boat builders (passandeq) in West Sulawesi. The findings reveal that while basic measurements may be used as initial references, critical decisions regarding the boat's balance and symmetry are predominantly based on subjective, adaptive assessments, deeply internalized feelings, and visions developed over decades. This intuitive approach, which incorporates concepts like symmetry, proportion, and basic measurements, demonstrates that technical precision can be achieved through non-formal knowledge pathways. The study highlights that the construction of Lopi Sandeq reflects a unique integration of cultural values, such as the symbolic use of odd numbers and shapes resembling Arabic letters, and practical, empirically derived knowledge. This research enriches ethnomathematical perspectives by demonstrating diverse ways humans apply spatial and equilibrium principles within cultural contexts, underscoring the validity and effectiveness of non-formal knowledge. The intuitive wisdom embedded in Lopi Sandeq construction serves as tangible evidence of a rich cultural heritage, offering valuable lessons in adaptation, innovation, and human-environment harmony. It also provides a robust case study for teaching mathematical concepts in a meaningful and culturally relevant way

Abstract

Tingginya nilai ekonomis rajungan dalam perekonomian mendorong peningkatan penangkapan di alam sehingga memicu terjadinya overfishing. Pendugaan stok rajungan di Kabupaten Tegal sangat minim dilakukan karena kurangnya informasi data mengenai rajungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik dan kondisi stok rajungan (Portunus pelagicus) di Perairan Laut Jawa, Kabupaten Tegal. Pengambilan sampel sebanyak 715 ekor dari nelayan, pengepul rajungan di Desa Suradadi, Bojongsana dan Purwahamba. Dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode sampel acak (Simple Random Sampling). Sampel yang didapat dilakukan pengukuran lebar karapas dan berat tubuh rajungan. Analisis data secara manual dan menggunakan bantuan software FISAT II dikeluarkan oleh FAO-ICLARM. Diantaranya sebaran frekuensi lebar karapas, hubungan lebar berat, pola pertumbuhan, mortalitas dan laju eksploitasi serta pola rekrutmen rajungan (Portunus pelagicus). Hasil penelitian ini adalah karakteristik rajungan di Kabupaten Tegal penangkapannya menggunakan bubu lipat, jenis yang banyak ditangkap jantan dengan ukuran lebar karapas 14 cm. Kondisi stok rajungan di Kabupaten Tegal masih dikategorikan baik sebab laju eksploitasi rajungan hanya sebesar 0,31 per tahun yang menunjukkan bahwa upaya penangkapan belum melebihi batas tingkat eksploitasi maksimal yaitu 0,5 per tahun. Upaya pengelolaan rajungan di Kecamatan Suradadi, Kabupaten Tegal yaitu strategi pengelolaan perikanan rajungan di perairan Kabupaten Tegal meliputi menetapkan pengelolaan perikanan rajungan dalam Peraturan Daerah dan sosialisasi kepada stakeholder terkait.

Abstract

Shopee officially entered Indonesia in 2015 and Shopee has become one of the most popular sites frequently visited. With Shopee, it makes it easier to shop online via gadgets anywhere and anytime as long as you have an internet connection. This research aims to determine the influence of trust and risk on Shopee online shopping interest among students at Tulang Bawang University, Lampung. The population of this research is students from Tulang Bawang University, Lampung with a sample of 100 respondents. The type of this research is quantitative with a causal associative approach using data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires. The data analysis methods used are multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, multiple linear regression analysis, t test and F test. The results of this study show that Trust has a positive and significant effect on Shopee online shopping interest among Tulang Bawang University Students in Lampung with a greater t value. from ttable 11.053>1.988 with a significance value of 0.0011.988 with a significance value of 0.0013.09 Ftable with a significance level of 0.001 Keywords: trust, shopee online shopping interest, risk

Abstract

One of the applications of technology in improving the effectiveness of ASN performance and discipline in South Lampung Regency is to use an android-based online attendance system, and the recapitulation of absences is the basis for providing ASN performance allowances based on South Lampung Regent Regulation Number 10 of 2024. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of the application of online attendance in determining the amount of performance allowance for employees of the Regional Secretariat of South Lampung Regency. The methode of this research is qualitative with data collection method using observation and interviews with informants. The results of the study were concluded based on the aspects of goals and objectives that most employees understand that policies to improve discipline and develop a fair and measurable benefit system. From the aspect of resources, the readiness in each work unit is still uneven. The attitude of the implementers towards this policy is generally positive. Many employees have accepted the online attendance system as an effort to improve discipline and as part of a more transparent assessment system. The effectiveness of information delivery is still uneven. Some employees feel that the information is clear enough, but others feel that the explanations received are still limited, especially related to technical aspects. The suggestion for this study is that it is necessary to add indicators other than attendance, such as work quality, productivity, individual performance achievements, and team contribution. Improving facilities and infrastructure so that technical obstacles can be overcome immediately and provide technical guidance in the form of videos/tutorials, digital questions and answers, and practical pocket books, which are easy to understand by all levels of Civil Servants.
