Abstract

Sukrosa ester merupakan salah satu jenis surfaktan yang dihasilkan dengan cara disintesis dari minyak nabati, dimana pada sebelumnya surfaktan disintesis dari minyak bumi yang semakin lama semakin menurun produksinya serta sukar terurai secara biologi. Surfaktan mempunyai sifat-sifat sebagai pengemulsi, pembusaan, deterjen dan pelarutan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menentukan waktu reaksi/pengoperasian dan volume pelarut yang optimum pada pembuatan sukrosa ester dan menghitung bilangan penyabunan, bilangan asam dan nilai HLB pada pembuatan sukrosa ester dari metil ester dengan menggunakan metode interesterifikasi. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai optimum produk sukrosa ester yaitu pada waktu 3 jam dengan volume pelarut 80 ml. Hasil analisa produk yang diperoleh yaitu konsentrasi sukrosa ester sebesar 3,225 mol/liter, nilai bilangan penyabunan 9,35, nilai bilangan asam 70,125, dan bilangan HLB sebesar 17,333 yang menunjukkan bahwa surfaktan yang dihasilkan termasuk jenis pengemulsi o/w (pengemulsi minyak dalam air).

Abstract

In a warehouse facility layout design including a health clinic, the layout design of warehouse facilities and production storage areas plays a very important role, it is impossible for the manufactured goods to be distributed directly to all customers. For this reason, there is a need for a good storage area and storage system to simplify the production process. Clinic XYZ is a 24-hour public health clinic, located in a sub-district in North Sumatra, to be precise in Medan Deli District. The problem that occurs is the random arrangement of goods in the warehouse without paying attention to storage and arrangement patterns that depend on the position of the empty warehouse. Based on observations, it is known that the time span needed to look for drugs at the clinic is too long, so this will make it difficult for employees / operators to manage the products to be stored or retrieved from the drug warehouse. One of the warehouse design methods that can be used is the dedicated storage method. Dedicated storage is a method of placing a specific location or storage area for each item stored. In this study, the types of drugs were classified into drugs, solid types of drugs, semi- solid drugs, liquid drugs and gas drugs. Based on the results obtained, the number of slots needed in the drug product warehouse is 11 slots, the total floor area needed is 13.2 m2, the area needed for storing medicinal products with an alley area is 6.8 m2, the percentage of area that is not used for storage the product in the medicinal product warehouse is 34% and the diagonal length of the hand truck when carrying the box is 1.56 m

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the development and implementation of PjBL in higher education through bibliometric analysis. Using data from Publish or Perish and Watase UAKE for the 2019-2023 period, this analysis identifies publication trends, dominant research themes, and the most influential authors and institutions in PjBL research. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, 114 relevant article publications were found in the Publish or Perish and Watase UAKE databases, with 25 documents from the period 2019 to 2023 selected and analyzed based on the inclusion criteria. The literature review process was carried out in accordance with PRISMA guidelines to ensure the quality of results and data analysis using VOSviewer software version 1.6.20. The research results show a significant decline in the publication of PjBL articles in the tertiary context, and there was the highest peak of publications in 2020. Most of the publications came from Spain, Indonesia and the United States, and the approaches most frequently used were quantitative and qualitative methods. Themes explored include the impact, role and implementation of PjBL. Density mapping analysis shows that knowledge about project-based learning has not been explored in depth, so further research is needed to expand understanding regarding the implementation of PjBL in the higher education context. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perkembangan dan implementasi PjBL di perguruan tinggi melalui analisis bibliometrik. Dengan menggunakan data dari Publish or Perish dan Watase UAKE selama periode 2019-2023, analisis ini mengidentifikasi tren publikasi, tema penelitian yang dominan, serta penulis dan institusi paling berpengaruh dalam penelitian PjBL. Dengan menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR), 114 publikasi artikel yang relevan ditemukan di database Publish or Perish dan Watase UAKE, dengan 25 dokumen dari periode 2019 hingga 2023 yang dipilih dan dianalisis berdasarkan kriteria inklusi. Proses peninjauan literatur dilakukan sesuai dengan pedoman PRISMA untuk menjamin kualitas hasil dan analisis data menggunakan bantuan perangkat lunak VOSviewer versi 1.6.20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penurunan yang signifkan dalam publikasi artikel PjBL di konteks perguruan tinggi, dan terjadi puncak publikasi tertinggi pada tahun 2020. Sebagian besar publikasi berasal dari Spanyol, Indonesia, dan Amerika Serikat, dan pendekatan yang paling sering digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Tema yang dieksplorasi termasuk dampak, peran, dan penerapan PjBL. Analisis pemetaan densitas menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan tentang pembelajaran berbasis proyek belum banyak dieksplorasi secara mendalam, sehingga diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk memperluas pemahaman terkait penerapan PjBL di konteks perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

The present research seeks to analyze the significance of self-confidence in shaping the learning motivation of Islamic Religous Education (IRE) students in the Aqidah Akhlak course at the State Islamic University of Raden Intan Lampung. The study was conducted among IRE students from the 2023 cohort who were enrolled during the first term of the 2025–2026 academic period. The study population consisted of comprised IRE students. from classes A to K, totaling 349 individuals. The results show that greater degrees of self-confidence are connected to improved learning motivation, greater student engagement in the learning process, and improved academic achievement. This is evidenced by a positive regression coefficient of 0.731, along with significant t-test and F-test results at the 95% confidence level. These findings confirm that self-confidence is a crucial factor in enhancing the learning motivation of IRE students.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Question Student Have (QSH) method in enhancing students’ learning activeness in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMK Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung, with a particular focus on student engagement in problem-solving activities. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental posttest-only control group design, involving class XI FM 2 as the experimental group and XI FM 3 as the control group. The instrument, a learning activeness questionnaire, was validated and found to be reliable, with a Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.858. Results from the independent sample t-test revealed a significance value of 0.012 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference between the QSH class and the conventional learning class. These findings suggest that QSH can enhance students’ participation in problem-solving through an anonymous mechanism, thereby reducing feelings of embarrassment and fear of making mistakes. The novelty of this study lies in the application of QSH in the context of vocational education, implying that this method contributes to the development of students’ activeness, critical thinking, communication skills, and collaboration.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Student Teams Achievement Divisions learning model assisted by Quizizz on the motivation of Islamic Religious Education students in SKI subjects at MTs Ismaria Alquraniyyah Bandar Lampung. This study uses a quantitative approach, quasi-experimental design. Class VII C was used as the experimental class and class VII B as the control class. The final test was in the form of a post-test using a non-test instrument (questionnaire). The tests used were instrument tests (validity and reliability), prerequisite tests (normality and homogeneity), and hypothesis tests (independent sample t-test). Based on the research results, a reliability value of 0.900 > 0.6 was obtained. Then, in testing the Independent Sample T-Test hypothesis, a sig. value of 0.871 > 0.005 was obtained, so Ha was rejected. This does not indicate any effect on student learning motivation between classes that use the Student Teams Achievement Divisions learning model assisted by Quizizz and classes that use conventional learning. The implication of this study is that it is important to find solutions through the use of more interesting and interactive media and models. This study proposes a different approach by combining the Quizizz-based Student Teams Achievement Divisions learning model. This study focuses on the aspect of learning motivation in Islamic Cultural History.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model on students’ learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education (Pendidikan Agama Islam/PAI) at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung. The research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design involving two groups: an experimental class implementing the STAD model and a control class receiving conventional instruction. The research instrument was a PAI learning motivation questionnaire consisting of 20 items. The validity test indicated that 18 items were valid, while the reliability test yielded a Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient of 0.848, indicating high reliability. The result of data analysis was preceded by the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, which demonstrated that the data were normally distributed (Sig. experimental class = 0.140; control class = 0.752). However, the homogeneity test revealed that the data variances were not homogeneous (Sig. < 0.05). Consequently, hypothesis testing was conducted using the Mann–Whitney U test. The results of the Mann–Whitney U test showed an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference in learning motivation between the experimental and control classes. The novelty of this study lies in the application of the STAD model in Islamic Religious Education by integrating cooperative group work with Islamic values to enhance students’ learning motivation. These findings underscore the importance of employing innovative instructional models in PAI learning to foster a conducive, student-centered learning environment. Theoretically, this study contributes to the enrichment of cooperative learning literature within the context of Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the optimization of students' sports and arts skills through the management of learning facilities and infrastructure at SMA Negeri 1 Bangkunat Belimbing. The focus of the study is on the planning, utilization, and control of facilities and infrastructure in supporting the improvement of students' skills, participation, and self-confidence. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation with informants consisting of the principal, vice principal in charge of student affairs, as well as sports and arts teachers. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the optimization of sports and arts skills is achieved through the planning of facilities and infrastructure that is carried out in stages and based on the real needs of students. The use of facilities is carried out in a scheduled and controlled manner in both learning and extracurricular activities. This management has a positive impact on increasing student enthusiasm, active participation, and self-confidence, as well as significantly improving technical sports and arts skills. This research emphasizes the specific management of facilities and infrastructure as a strategy for improving students' sports and arts skills, which has been rarely discussed in previous educational management studies.

Abstract

Background: Spiritual care is a core component in palliative nursing, but most of the literature still discusses it in a general framework and has not systematically integrated Islamic educational values as an ethical and professional foundation. Objective: Formulating a conceptual framework for strengthening palliative nursing care through the integration of Islamic educational values. Methods: The study used an integrative literature review design following the PRISMA flow. A systematic search was conducted on PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar for articles from January 2010–June 2025. The final search was conducted in June 2025 using a combination of the keywords “Islamic values,” “Islamic education,” “palliative nursing,” “palliative care,” and “spiritual care.” Of the 215 articles identified, 30 met the inclusion criteria after screening and full-text review. Analysis was conducted through thematic synthesis and quality assessment using the CASP and JBI checklists. Results: Four dominant core values were identified: rahmah (compassion), patience, sincerity, and trust (relief), with trust as a key determinant of professional ethics. Rahmah emerged most frequently and contributed to improved therapeutic communication, reduced anxiety, increased emotional support, and improved quality of life for terminally ill patients. The integration of these values also impacted patient satisfaction and strengthened nurse professionalism. Conclusion: The integration of Islamic educational values strengthens the ethical, spiritual, and professional dimensions of palliative nursing practice in a holistic and evidence-based manner. Further research using quantitative or mixed methods designs is needed to increase the generalizability of the findings.

Abstract

Effective school leadership is central to the development of teacher professionalism and organizational discipline, yet qualitative evidence from Islamic secondary schools remains limited. This study investigated how school leadership strengthened teacher work discipline at MTs Negeri 2 Pesawaran, Indonesia. The study used a qualitative descriptive field design and drew on semi-structured interviews, non-participant observation, and document analysis. The revised manuscript reports a purposive sample consisting of the madrasah head, the vice principal for curriculum, and teachers who were directly involved in daily instructional management. Data were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña interactive model through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with credibility supported by source and technique triangulation. The findings converged on three interrelated leadership pathways. First, the madrasah head directed teachers through clear attendance regulations, supervisory routines, duty allocation, and regular coordination meetings. Second, leadership was enacted through mentoring practices, including evaluation meetings, performance agreements, professional guidance, and collaborative problem solving. Third, the madrasah head functioned as an exemplary role model by demonstrating punctuality, open communication, recognition of teacher achievements, and active participation in school programs. Collectively, these practices strengthened punctuality, accountability, professional commitment, and a collaborative school culture. The study suggests that leadership in madrasah settings is most effective when administrative control is combined with ethical example, participatory communication, and sustained professional support. These findings contribute context-specific insight into how leadership mechanisms shape work discipline in Islamic educational institutions and provide practical direction for school leaders seeking to reinforce teacher accountability in comparable settings.
