Abstract

Abstrak: Seiring berjalannya waktu, kondisi fasilitas yang digunakan untuk membantu proses produksi pada PT. Raja Ampat Indotim mengalami penurunan kemampuan dan fungsi yang akan mengakibatkan kerugian, salah satu fasilitas yang sering digunakan yakni mesin bubut konvesional. Namun, tindakan perawatan yang dilakukan di PT. Raja Ampat Indotim dinilai masih kurang efektif, dikarenakan perawaatan yang dilakukan dengan mengadakan tindakan perawatan setelah terjadinya kerusakan pada semua komponen.  Maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah membahas tentang implementasi metode FMEA  pada mesin bubut konvensional yang berada di PT. Raja Ampat Indotim. Setelah dilakukan analisis dengan metode FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) didapatkan hasil yaitu terdapat enam komponen pada mesin bubut konvensional yang perlu mendapat perhatian untuk tidakan perawatan, item tersebut adalah chuck, sirkulasi oli, taper, v-belt and pulley, shaft and bushing, baut dan mur dengan delapan belas jenis kegagalan yang terjadi. Untuk tindakan perawatan yang dipilih dapat menggunakan tindakan perawatan korektif dan tindakan perawatan preventif dikarenakn nilai RPN yang diperoleh mempunyai nilai yang rendah dan menengah, tidak ada yang mempunyai nilai RPN diatas 300. Kata kunci: FMEA, Tindakan Perawatan, Mesini Bubut Konvensional

Abstract

PT. XYZ which is located in Karawang is engaged in filtering including textile materials, water, oil and gas. Which works closely with several other companies so as to make very high quality products. Therefore, a more efficient, structured and easier work is needed for monitoring. In this study, the preferred goal is to find out how much effective the YSD Shearing Machine is in the manufacture of Cyclone Cone Filter products with the OEE method. The results of the Research on the Effectiveness Level of the YSD Shearing Machine in the Cyclone Cone Filter Production process are 71.98% Week 1, Week 2 87.51%, Week 3 87.33%, Week 4 by 81.32%. And the average calculation result of Overall Equipment Effectiveness is 82.035%. This value does not meet the world standard of 85%.

Abstract

Along with the times, the need for technology is increasingly needed to support increasing human needs, including in the agricultural sector, where a tool is needed to dry rice quickly after going through the harvest process, therefore a Blower Machine for Drying Rice is made. The blower used in the rice drying process is a centrifugal type with a curved blade, the workings of this blower machine is to pour rice into a room with an area of ​​5 x 12 m which has been installed in a series equipped with a screen that has a height of 60 cm from the ground, and a width of 60 cm. screen maximum of 2.5 mm, redistribute the grain so that it looks evenly distributed with a maximum pile height of 50 cm, then turn on the combustion furnace with gas fuel so that the temperature reaches 135℃, then turn on the driving motor, and wait until the water content in the rice reaches 13.8 -14%. Because according to the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) for milled dry grain, the recommended moisture content is 14%. From the analysis results, it is found that the blower is able to provide heat of 44.4 for 1000 Rpm blower rotation, and 40.2 for 818 Rpm.

Abstract

As the development of science is always accompanied by high-technology applications, innovation is needed to support the implementation of a technology. Almost all human activities are currently assisted by tools. Most of the families in Indonesia has a TV antenna. However, There are difficulties in the installation of antenna stick. Therefore, designing a tool in the form of a stick that can be elongated/shortened automatically is necessary for ease of use. The tool is called "Telescopstick". In addition, to be a tool for TV antenna pole, it is designed for multifunctional purpose because there is a joint at the end of this tool that can be connected with other tools, so it can serve as a substitution of a lamp, duster and etc. This tool is designed to be robust and lightweight, made of polyethylene pipe in a consideration of the functions and needs of this tool. The mechanism of this tool is basically a pulley system that enables the change of its length dimension through the pull of wire. The wire pulling mechanism itself utilizes 12 Volt DC electric motor with energy provided by a battery. Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method is employed to design this tool because it focuses on a consumer-needs-based design process. The results show that the tool can replace conventional sticks which are easily destroyed and difficult to install and the availability of spare parts are easily obtained as well. The findings of this study can be used as effectively as possible for future research.Keywords: Telescopstick Design, Innovation, Polyethylene, Quality Function Deployment

Abstract

Dari pengamatan pada perusahaan sparepart otomotif diperoleh beberapa cacat pengelesan. Diperoleh beberapa cacat yaitu undercut, overlap, blowhole, tembus, spatter, crack dan crater. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menekan masalah defect pada pengelasan dengan metode six sigma DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve dan Control) serta bertujuan menurunkan cost pada perusahaan. Dari ke lima jenis cacat tersebut didapatkan presentase sebesar 10,3 persen. Faktor penyebab terjadinya cacat pada hasil pengelasan ditinjau dari aspek mesin, metode, manusia, material dan lingkungan dengan menggunakan fishbone diagram dan FMEA sebagai alat bantu six sigma. Hasil perbaikan terbukti dapat menurunkan cost dari Rp. 3.233.000,- menjadi Rp. 238.300,-.

Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara tropis mempunyai potensi energi surya yang tinggi dengan radiasi harian rata-rata (insolasi) sebesar 4,5 kWh/m2/hari. Potensi ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber energi alternatif tersedia sepanjang tahun. Energi surya banyak di terapkan di berbagai kegiatan industri dan kegiatan di masyarakat, dalam pennelitian ini kami mencoba mendesain mesin tepung terubuk yang di jalankan oleh energi surya ( solar cell ). Sehingga energi surya ( solar cell ) yang termasuk energi terbarukan akan terbiasa digunakan oleh masyarakat di daerah pedesaan maupun industri. Dalam proses pembuatan mesin penggiling terubuk untuk menghasilkan tepung maka dirancang suatu alat yang dapat menghancurkan terubuk menjadi berbentuk tepung yang halus, dan membuat bentuk dari mesin penggiling yang portabel. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode perancangan dan observasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh desain mesin penggiling tepung terubuk dengan energi surya dengan spesifikasi rangka dengan panjang 552 mm, lebar 135 mm, tinggi 225 mm, dengan daya yang dibutuhkan untuk menggerakkan electromotor DC 3000 rpm pada mesin penepung ini adalah sebesar 60 watt dan sumber daya yang dihasilkan berasal dari aki 12V 20 AH. daya modul solar cell yang dibutuhkan untuk menggerakan mesin penepung ini yaitu sebesar 100 wp. Indonesia as a tropical country has a high potential for solar energy with an average daily radiation (insolation) of 4.5 kWh/m2/day. This potential can be utilized as an alternative energy source available throughout the year. Solar energy is widely applied in various industrial activities and activities in the community, in this study we tried to design the ultimate flour machine that is run by solar energy (solar cell). So that solar energy (solar cell) which includes renewable energy will be used by people in rural and industrial areas. In the process of making the ultimate grinding machine to produce flour, a tool is designed that can crush the terubuk into a fine powder, and make the shape of a portable grinding machine. The method used is the observation design method. The results showed that the design of the terubuk flour milling machine with solar energy with a frame specification of 552 mm long, 135 mm wide, 225 mm high, with the power required to drive a 3000 rpm DC electromotor on this flour machine is 60 watts and the resulting power source comes from a 12V 20 AH battery. The power of the solar cell module needed to drive this flour machine is 100 wp.

Abstract

A company engaged in plastic specialists, with the basic ingredients of PolyEthylene Terephthalate, PolyPropylene, and Hight Impact Polystyrene. Products operated by Extruder machines. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) with Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Availability, Performance, Rate of Quality and OEE of Extruder GW-150. Based on the quantitative analysis of the OEE calculation, the OEE value of the Extruder 1 GW-350 machine is obtained with an average calculation of 79.35%. Based on the qualitative analysis using FMEA, the RPN failure mode score on the Extruder 1 GW-350 engine was obtained. The highest RPN value is the unstable (die) printer of 240.

Abstract

Over time, the condition of conventional lathes used for the production process at PT. Raja Ampat Indotim experienced a decrease in ability and function which would result in losses. However, the treatment measures carried out in PT. RAI is considered to be still ineffective, because all activities are carried out by holding treatment actions after the occurrence of damage or have no prior plans for treatment actions. So the purpose of this study is to discuss the determination of treatment actions using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis method. 27 types of failures were obtained in conventional lathes with a maximum and minimum RPN value of 240 and 10. In order for treatment measures to be carried out effectively, treatment is focused on 8 types of failures with preventive treatment measures and also corrective treatment measures. Seiring berjalannya waktu, kondisi mesin bubut konvensional yang digunakan untuk proses produksi pada PT. Raja Ampat Indotim mengalami penurunan kemampuan dan fungsi yang akan mengakibatkan kerugian. Namun, tindakan perawatan yang dilakukan di PT. RAI dinilai masih kurang efektif, dikarenakan semua perawaatan yang dilakukan dengan mengadakan tindakan perawatan setelah terjadinya kerusakan atau tidak mempunyai rencana sebelumnya untuk tindakan perawatan. Maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah membahas tentang penentuan tindakan perawatan dengan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis. Didapatkan 27 jenis kegagalan yang terjadi pada mesin bubut konvensional dengan nilai RPN maksimal dan minimum sebesar 240 serta 10. Supaya tindakan perawatan dapat dilakukan secara efektif, maka penanganan difokuskan pada 8 jenis kegagalan dengan tindakan perawatan preventif dan juga tindakan perawatan korektif.

Abstract

Water is the source of life, because no living thing can survive without water. We are always trying to get water. One of the most common tools in water treatment is a water pump. In its application, the use of this water pump is used in the Bottled Line Automatic Controller (BLAC) automatic gallon filling machine. As for the place of assembly and this research was carried out at PT. Desalite Tirtamas Technology, Bintaro, Tangerang Selatan. For this Reason, information is needed regarding the perfomance of the water pump on the BLAC engine, to find out the variables that can be improved in order to increase the performance of the BLAC engine itself. The result showed that the increase in the hydraulic power of the pump continuously resulted in an increase in discharge which was influenced by how big the valve was, where the bigger the torque. The highest discharge value at 100% valve opening is 0,00111 and 0,0004773 at 50% valve opening, where the shaft power value at 100% valve opening is 1165,56 watts, and the 50% valve opening is 1049,004 watts. With the most efficient performance at the largest valve opening, 100% valve opening with a value of 31,73 and 19,038 at 50% valve opening.

Abstract

Plastic is one of the most widely used materials in the world, almost all products we find use plastic. There are several plastic material processing processes, one of which uses the injection molding method which is one of the important technologies used to produce various product. The purpose of this research is to design a product of mold design for pots and placemats using computer aided design (CAD) software and simulations performed on solidworks software. The results of this study are based on confidence with a 95% confidence level, the average confirmation experimental value is in the confidence interval range with the simulation results still not stable because they still have a few product defects, one of which is the air trap
